i haven't finished the story mode yet and i know i normally do but i feel its not necessary for this review as ive gotten the gist of the story and i can always edit this review if you are looking at the reviews for this game honestly just play the demo. if you like the demo you will like the game. besides that i will still review this game with some positives and negatives and overall i give it a 9/10 and it is really really good to the point where i am addicted to this game. like im already 45 hours in and i haven't finished the story so that should give you an idea of how much i love this game so without further ado lets get into the positives the pros of this game: PC shared screen offline co op in 2023! (DAMN ACTIVISION IT IS POSSIBLE ON PC! *COUGH* CALL OF DUTY *COUGH*) immense variety of likeable characters with unique play styles free online casual and competitive (**** on that consoles!) fantastic modding community pumping out mods daily on nexus arcade modes for your favourite characters good music that doesn't distract from the fighting battle hub environment for if you want that to play online but you can also do it in fighting ground if you don't gameplay mechanics that can sway the tide of a battle and so much more blah blah blah see for yourself negatives: some characters are overpowed and i think zangeif is the most notable character with this issue. his damage is ridiculous and he plays like a boss battle so his damage needs a nerf but besides that hes fine and capcom did a great job of balancing characters in this game and i still really like zangeif. i just feel bad playing as him because dealing with him is a pain notable characters missing like M bison and vega but they will probably arrive as paid dlc so i guess i will be giving you more of my money capcom lmao you have to pay virtual currency for recolours which is **** and you also have to pay real money to get the classic outfits for characters or grind. but thanks to this being the pc version you can just mod the classic skins over the default ones. the story mode enemies can have **** difficulty spikes forcing you to pull your own **** in the form of items that recover all your health because they couldn't be arsed to balance the story mode nothing else really cause this game gets so much right

i love the multiplayer but the single player is kinda decent despite the good writing i think it would have heavily benefited from hitmarkers so that getting kills feel more satisfying

it isnt even a game you just set up a match as a streamer and your audience plays the game its like kahoot but a racing game in the worst way possible

the combat personally ruined this game for me though i like all the choice the game gives you honestly try this game out if you have a whoping 40GBs to spare and if you like it good for you but its not my cup of tea

this game is just not fun i feel every minute passing while im playing it sorry gajin but your action games just dont convey action well they are boring

game looks like **** at max graphics And if you loose connection the game crashes this game has a lot of potential its a shame it got wasted

i personally dont like this game as i feel the skill ceiling is too high and im not a fan of the hipfiring mechanic i do like how you can swap weapons with q tho id say try it out and if you like it good for you but its personally not for me

at first the game started off slow but once i started to get used to the game and how it worked i was quickly hooked and i loved it up untill the post game which was a huge letdown as i was forced to grind for all the cars i really wanted and i just kind of gave up once unbound was announced and i found out they had the same roster i think the story was a fine length but the progression should have been faster or the story should have been longer so you actually went from rags to riches and not from rags to a pretty nice car

this game is great and its good to see that its free on steam its sad that the modding scene has kinda died though

this game is fantastic. the only things i could recommend is a sandbox mode and maybe a full screen option for if you are playing with two pcs next to each other apart from that this game is perfect

a fantastically well-written story that got very sad at the end gave me more value than I needed but that's not really a negative thing the game started off slow then became incredibly addictive
