ACO simply feels incomplete and lackluster in every way possible. Poor movement animations throughout for both main characters and AI, awfully slow prologue, story is meh, world feels more robotic and lifeless than immersive, bad lip-syncing, clunky combat, and boring missions. The graphics can be a hit or miss but overall positive. Though this games falls short in nearly every way, I can some finding enjoyment in mindlessly killing enemies and collecting loot. I would strongly recommend avoiding this gaming until it's at half price.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a decent game overall but falls far short of being good or above. What it has going for it is graphics, sound, and gameplay. It's undeniable that the game looks good and could be a great showoff piece for your PS4 Pro. The sound is excellent, nailing the deep bass of large robot creatures nearby to the satisfying sound of knocking off a weapon or weak point in an enemy. The gameplay is pure fun and hours in hasn't gotten old nor lost it's sense of challenge. Where the game falls short is pretty much everything else. The story is totally boring and I never cared to hear what anyone has to say or watch the cut scenes. Doing so anyway would only confirm my inner feelings that I should've just skipped it. The missions are boring and very tedious. Running from point A to B and back again felt like a drag and only seems to exist to artificially extend hours of playtime. The voice acting was bland which is partly due to poor storytelling and partly due to actor's inability to perform well. The open world, though beautiful, is also dry. It lacks one of the most important factors any open world needs, immersion. Outside of killing robot dinosaurs, running boring errands for random people, or picking up pointless collectibles, there's no living in the world. You don't build a home, you don't sleep, you don't interact with people outside of quests, and there's no everyday-like activities taking place that you engage in. There's not much here to justify the game being an open-world in the first place and could've just as easily been a linear game, where Aloy travels from one end of the map to the other on a path to find out about her true identity and purpose. This game feels like they created the gameplay concept, then tried to force a story and world to fit it, and at that they failed. If you just want to run around and take out robot dinosaurs, this is a must buy. If you want a great story and immersive open world, this is a pass. If you fall somewhere in between then wait for a sale. Gameplay: + Sound: + Graphics: + Voice Acting: - Open-World: - Story: -

Bottom line, and most important, this game is fun but that fun is short lived. After a while it feels simply dry and missing a lot. Not saying that it needed a single player campaign but it surely needed much more to offer in its multiplayer. Even though it seems this series truly calls for an open world rpg with single player and multiplayer aspects, this is nothing more than a beautiful money grab. Hopefully Dice/EA will deliver this open world game in the future without downgrading the graphics but for now we are left with this hop in and quickly hop out non-immersive game.

CoD 3 might not have a great story or characterization but it does one thing right - it's fun. The shooting is solid and there's enough varied content to offer re-playability for a long time. Sure this game lacks in almost all supporting aspects (forgettable story, soundtrack, and graphics could be better) but none of that interfered with gameplay.

Mad Max is an awesome game in almost every way. The open world is immersive, the characters in game work, the fighting is superb, the vehicle combat is both unique in feel and is done to perfection, and the racing adds a new and fun option of things to do in the world. Outside of a few glitches, my only complaint is that some of the faces don't match the voices or the mouth movement is off when a character is talking.

This game has great concept but lackluster delivery in every way. In typical Ubisoft fashion the game is full of bugs and non-working parts. Characters feel cheap and slapped together, and views are often problematic especially when zooming in to targets at a distance. All hero/toy options are the same just with different skins and animations and overall the game just feels like one big money grab.I truly hope a developer takes this idea and creates what this game should be but this one here is a disappointment. Had this game not come with so many issues it would be an ok buy for young kids but even then the price is completely unjustified. This is a game that should be free so I don't suggest buying this at all.

I appreciate the uniqueness and creativity of this game but ultimately it's a bore. After a while I simply lost interest. You have to have an acquired taste for this game to like it but for me it was as fun as reading a dictionary.

Great game all around it's both fun and addictive. It gets both graphics and gameplay right. I especially love how each mission can be played using various methods. The only downsides to this game are the hard to navigate menus and controls, and the lack of much to do on Motherbase.

This game is totally overhyped and it's flaws are the very thing many claim are its assets. For one, the controls ****. Your character reacts slow to commands while your opposition does not. Your viewing angles are often problematic at the worst times possible, and the game is built on a repetitive rinse and repeat formula that gets annoying fast. That being said, the world and in game characters are pretty good but the gameplay fails as it becomes more of a chore rather than fun. I love a good challenge but when half the challenge is overcoming control and design flaws it takes away from the experience.
