This is the greatest cinematic achievement since Lawrence of Arabia - a film that really only has one flaw in that white actors are playing other ethnicities - however, its a minor flaw in a time where Hollywood Whitewashed history for the most part, but at least this film cast Omar Shariff as the most important character so I can overlook Obi Wan Kenobi playing Feisal. To the contrary, Nolan's inspired casting of Lupita Nyong'o, Himash Patel, John Leguizamo, Travis Scott, Corey Hawkins and Elliot Page open up this ancient story. I would love to see a movie about how Troy hired Memnon, King of Aethiopia who came to the aid of Troy to fight the Greeks after the death of Hector who was subsequently killed by Achilles. That sounds like a great role for Michael B. Jordan if you ask me, with an actor like Drew Starkey as Achilles. Hopefully the success of this masterpiece brings about more films set in this era as Braveheart laid the path for Gladiator and Troy and many others. For those who think this movie is Woke, I counter that it is Anti-Whitewash. Because all the evidence in the world points to ancient Greece being a very diverse society.

This movie is weird, but I loved its weirdness. I was mesmerized by Francesca Hayward as Victoria. Idris Elba and Judi Dench were fantastic. I liked the music. I liked the weird visuals. I liked it.

I went into this movie expecting it to be on par with the first Thor and Captain America movies, but never expected it to be better than Iron Man and The Avengers. I loved every aspect of this film. The humor was constant and Brie Larson really brought Captain Marvel to life for me. She has so many endearing moments and her confidence rivals Robert Downey Jr's interpretation of Tony Stark. This is the best 90s Sam Jackson movie since Jackie Brown. Ben Mendelssohn is easily the most compelling adversary we've had in a long time and the way they tied this movie into the collective gave me GOOSE bumps. Jude Law is also a ton of fun and kudos to Lashana Lynch. What's amazing about the MCU is that you could watch Captain America The First Avenger first, then Captain Marvel, and then go into Iron Man and you get to experience the complete history of the Tesseract and it almost makes the entire MCU better, and it begins the journey towards Infinity War with the Infinity Stones with such grace. I will probably see this movie five times in the theater (thanks AMC!) because wow, what a beautiful cinematic experience. If I had a daughter, this would be the movie poster I'd want her to have on her wall. 9/10

Terrific film. A way for people to be introduced to Shakespeare who haven't studied it much. In the spirit of Baz Luhrmann's Romeo & Juliet. Definitely worth the rent on iTunes or Red Box.

It is truly fascinating to me that some people do not like this movie. For me, it was a great Star Wars movie filled with awesome new sequences, fun new characters, terrific adventures, and unique romantic dynamics. Mark Hamill brought new layers to Luke Skywalker. His PTSD was quite believable. I do understand a lot of people wanted Rey's parents to be these people, or Snoke to be this guy, or Benicio Del Toro to play this kind of character, and when they didn't get what they got, it really upset them. Probably because Star Wars is truly owned by its fanbase. That said, if I have to accept the prequels as canon, you're going to have to accept this new trilogy as canon. Things don't always go the way you think. But at its core, this movie has top notch acting, and breathtaking special effects. You can't please everyone, but you did please me.

I'll keep it simple. I'll start by saying, never forget that movie critics trashed Apocalypse Now when it came out. Is Suicide Squad as good as Apocalypse Now? Hell yeah it is! For me at least. This was the Apocalypse Now of superhero movies for me. There I said it. Hahahaha. This is the kind of filmmaking I like. I loved how it cuts away like Family Guy to show us the awesome exposition rather than just say it. Kept me on my toes. Everything with the Joker is perfect. But he is the conduit to get us to Harley Quinn. This is her movie, not his. When watching BvS I understood why some critics didn't like that movie. I didn't agree, but I understood. I have no idea what these critics who are trashing this movie are smoking. Or maybe it's what they're not smoking. Maybe they thought they were getting a Joker movie and they got a Suicide Squad movie. Will Smith and Margot Robbie owned this movie. It was so much fun to watch. I laughed, cheered, even got a little emotional at times with Harley and Mr. J's romance. There wasn't a character in this film I didn't like. Even Adam Beach and Scott Eastwood stood out. Kinnaman was a big surprise. I loved his relationship with Delevingne. Viola Davis was wicked good. Jay Hernandez took what could have been a throwaway character and gave him so much spirit. Jai Courtney and Karen **** played off each other wonderfully. Killer Croc has some of the best one liners. To sum it up, I just feel bad for anyone who doesn't enjoy this movie as much as I did. I'm glad this movie was exactly what I thought it was going to be. Fun, fun and more fun. I cannot wait to go watch this movie ten more times in the theater. It is simply epic. Best comic book movie of the year, just ahead of Deadpool. For me, up there with The Dark Knight and Burton's Batman. Do not understand at all why this movie got panned. I'm not expecting everyone to think it's the best film of the year. For me it is. I just can't quite comprehend people thinking this is worse than ID42, which according to RT, it is. C'est la vie. I feel like if Tarantino ever made a superhero movie, this is what it would look like.

This pretty much sums up everyone's conversation / opinion of Batman v Superman: 1: Hey what did you think of BvS DOJ? 2: Hated it! It was the worst. 1: What about Affleck's Batman? 2: Oh that... best Batman ever. Better than Bale and Keaton. 1: How about Wonder Woman? 2: She was phenomenal. Every moment on screen was pure joy. 1: How about Superman and Lois? 2: I really believed their relationship. They did a good job there. 1: Lex Luthor and Doomsday? 2: Eisenberg was such a departure but that Doomsday fight was balls awesome. I have to admit that. 1: Are you excited for more DC movies? 2: Oh absolutely. This movie definitely has me excited for more.

The powers that be messed up the release of Steve Jobs. But I can't stop watching it. I highly recommend you find a way to see this movie. Fassbender gives the performance you've been waiting for. Winslett delivers another tour de force. Incredible ensemble. Rogen. Stuhlberg. Waterston. Daniels should finally win the Oscar. Three actresses give an unbelievable performance trifecta in the role of L.I.S.A. Three different scores defining three different periods. Boyle's direction is creative and flawless. Sorkin does what he always does. This film is a thing of beauty. (little disclaimer - I've never owned a Mac or I-Phone. Always preferred PCs and Androids... so I wasn't predisposed to like this film. Imagine a non-baseball fan who loved Moneyball... which of course, that wasn't me... I love baseball!)

This is the Bourne Identity of Superhero movies with a dash of Clear and Present Danger and Spy Game. After seeing this, Scarlett Johansson is definitely ready for a stand alone Black Widow movie.

I didn't know what to expect going into this movie, except that I've wanted to see a food truck movie for quite a while. And Jon Favreau gave us a masterpiece.

There is so much good in this movie. So much great in this movie. But I might have to go on the record saying the Evan Peters Quicksilver storyline is the best thing in the series. Despite those stupid Carl's Jr. commercials.

Angelia Jolie makes this film watchable, despite its flaws. Honestly, its intentions outweigh its flaws in almost every way. And Sharlto Copley gave one of his better performances to date. If I were a little kid I would have really enjoyed it. Way better than Snow White and the Huntsman.

Who knew watching Tom Cruise die over and over could be so much fun. But Tom Cruise can never really die. It's impossible. Emily Blunt is becoming the new sci-fi queen between this and Looper. She could seriously star in an Alien reboot. Bill Paxton gave a gem of a performance, too. One of these days people are going to have to admit Doug Liman is a good director.

The only way I can judge a comedy is by how hard it makes me laugh. And this film made me laugh hard. And Wyatt Russell was the biggest surprise. Kurt Russell's kid is hilarious.

If you stay for the credits and see the real **** and Micky, you realize you've just watched the truth. This movie is the truth. Pure and perfection. Hiring the guys who actually do the fights for HBO added to the authenticity. I just have to wonder who yelled the most... Bale or Russell. But who cares. They made a classic. Bravo.

The best way I can describe this movie is that it's like one of your favorite songs covered by one of your favorite bands. And it's a helluva cover.
