Probably the only reason I give this a 5 and not a lower score is because I do like some of the new dynasty changes. The NIL is decently implemented and the end of season Heisman presentation is actually awesome. Easily one of the best things I've seen in an EA Sports game in years. Sadly, that's where my praise ends. The gameplay is absolutely horrible. It doesn't even make sense cause CFB 25's gameplay was so good, I don't know what happened. Good teams/players will just cheat you now. You'll run next to the and get artificially slowed down. You can't push you own players out of the way anymore, change of direction is atrocious and just in general the game feels terrible to play. There are also bugs out the wazoo. Have had the game crash my PlayStation at least 5 times and there are other visual bugs that constantly pop up ( players not loading, logos not loading, etc. ). I don't know if they switched up teams over there at CFB or what because I genuinely thought 25 was one of the best sports games ever. CFB 27 though is closer to the worst ever than the best ever. Overall: 5/10

The game is borderline unplayable. Dynasty is completely broken and the gameplay is somehow light years worse than last year. I genuinely enjoyed last years game. I'm honestly debating getting a refund for this year. Update: I initially gave the game a 3 but they've since patched a bunch of stuff and made it a lot more enjoyable experience. So I'm bumping my score to a 5.

Just a TLDR here at the beginning, this is the GOTY. It's shocking a game like this even exist. Kinda like Red Dead 2 from a technical perspective where you're just wowed by the kind of world that's been built. This is easily one of Kojima's best games and while it's not perfect, it's much more accessible to a more casual audience and a game I think everyone will like if the stick with it. From a gameplay perspective, DS2 is much more gamified and expanded from the first. The first game I think was going for peak immersion. This game is more similar to something like MGSV where the world is much more easily traversable and combat focused. The gameplay loop is really addicting with the sheer amount of useful loot you get from new weapons, outfits, accessories, vehicles, music, etc. And everything in general just feels way more polished and refined. From a story perspective, if DS1 is an A24, NEON or XYZ movie, DS2 is Marvel, Disney, etc. Think if DS1 = Terminator then DS2 = Terminator 2. Everything just feels way bigger budget and more palatable to a casual audience. I'm personally more of a fan of the style and seriousness of DS1's story but I've really enjoyed DS2's story as well. My only real gripes with the game are some of it's early pacing and cutscenes that didn't really grab me like DS1 did. In contrast to how great the intro is, the entire Mexico area and it's cutscenes just felt underwhelming. It's understandable because it's basically a tutorial area but for me, it didn't really hook me like going to the incinerator for the first time on DS1 and getting that amazing voidout scene. I encourage people to stick with it though if they feel similar. The game opens up in every way more once you get to Australia. Overall, DS2 is an incredible game. I hope as time goes by more and more people realize it and recognize it for being truly one of the best games of this generation as the last one was for it's generation. My rating is a 9.5 ( 10 for Metacritic ) because while it does have some things that I feel take away from the experience, it's not quite as good as DS1 for me personally which I gave a 10/10. Overall though, it's still one of the best PS5 games and my GOTY. Tip: Turn off most of the HUD. This makes for a way more immersive experience if you're craving a little more of that DS1 feel.

I was extremely skeptical of Bloober as a studio and this game leading up to it's release. I thought a lot of the trailers that were put out didn't represent the vision of the og game. Definitely a poor marketing job imo. With that said, Bloober absolutely crushed it. Not only is this the best survival horror remake of all time, it might actually eclipse the original for me! Hope it gets some GOTY love because it definitely deserves to be nominated..

Had hope this year for Madden because CFB 25 was actually really good but sadly, it was for nothing. EA, it's time for new leadership on the Madden team. Ben Haumiller showed what true vision and passion can produce for CFB 25. Madden deserves better than the team leading it right now, no passion, no vision and just the same recycled garbage every year.

This is an all time great Final Fantasy and can stand right up there with the original unlike the previous Remake which was just ok imo. This will 100% be a GotY contender and possibly even win it.

One of the most incredible survival horrors ever made. It may even be the best because it doesn't just hit one note. It can go from P.T. level scary/creepiness to Twin Peaks/Fargo level humor and weirdness all the while having some of the best graphics in all of gaming and a polished combat system in the light of something like RE4R. I didn't have high expectations for this game considering there wasn't a ton of marketing and the game didn't even have a physical release so those seemed like warning signs for me but I'm happy to say I couldn't be more wrong. If it weren't for Baldur's Gate coming out this year and being a generational type game, Alan Wake 2 would be my GOTY. Regardless, this game stands right up there with Resident Evil 2 and Silent Hill 2 as one of the best survival horrors of all time.

9/10 If you long for the nostalgia of PS1 and PS2 era games where they're just a ton of fun to play and there's not a bunch of fluff, this is the game for you. AC6 is an absolutely incredible game. AC1 was my first and only game in the series that I played when it first came out and some of the newer ones just didn't seem to capture that feel of the original. Well I can say 100% this captures the feel of the original just with updated mechanics and graphics. The only reason it's not a 10/10 and a absolute classic game of all time is it's not open world. It's still a great game with the classic mission system but man, this with an Elden Ring style open world would be one of the best games of all time imo. I hope FromSoft invests heavily in AC and it's future and we eventually see one of those grand open world AC's in the future.

I'll give it a 9 but it's probably more like a 7 or 8 compared to CK2. Love the graphics upgrades and it's cool to see 3D characters now but man, pretty much everything else is downgraded. Options are way more limited than what they were in CK2. I'm thinking they'll be able to fix these kinds of things in future patches and DLC that's why I give it 9 but if you're looking for a similar experience to what you'd get out of CK2, you won't find it in CK3 ( at least not right now ).

One of the most gaming experiences I've ever had. Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews, most likely those people didn't play more than 5 hours. I'm 50+ hours in and just beat it and I can officially say, this game is a MUST BUY. Easily a 10/10 and probably the best game of this generation.

The game would be great if it was actually playable. Right now there are literally bugs and crashes everywhere. I had 2 Universe modes going well til the game crashed and locked me out of both. I'm on my 3rd now solely due to the crashes. 2K should be ashamed of themselves for letting a game ship in this state. I imagine it'll need a couple of patches to get everything fixed. I may raise my rating later but as this game is right now, I'll give it a 5 out of 10.

Rated this game a 9 initially but after playing it around 20 hours and getting to a level 2 rep ( Roughly level 40 ) I have to bump down my initial rating to a 6. I saw a review on Steam that summed this game up perfectly, it's basically a free to play game except you're paying 60 bucks for it. Like I said, I'm at a level 2 rep and that's pretty rare this early in the game yet I still don't have access to the best equipment and most likely won't until 50 or more hours. Oh and more on the equipment, there really isn't any. This game would be great if there was a ton of equipment choices per character but there's not. There's only like 3. So that makes getting loot at the end of matches incredibly competitive. Pretty much by level 5 or maybe even sooner you've seen all the loot there is if you've played for that certain character the entire time. I really want to like this game as evidence by my initial rating but playing it just feels dirty. It feels like a really obvious cash grab by Ubisoft. That **** because this game has a lot of potential but right now, I wouldn't recommend anybody paying the full 60 bucks for it.

Don't be fooled by the title, this is NOT a Resident Evil game. Just another one of the millions of Outlast/PT knock offs that are out there. I had hopes that the demos wouldn't be the whole game and we'd somehow have a tie in to the originals but nope. No old characters, no old story, Capcom has pretty much completely abandoned Resident Evil with this game. To sum it up, if you're a fan of the original RE's, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!

This game is so bad, I actually created this account just to give it a negative review. After many years of not buying Madden as the upgrades throughout the years have been very minimal and pretty much if you play one year of Madden past 2010 or so, you've played them all, I decided to pick up Madden 17. I bought into the hype that franchise was improved and that they really focused on it this year. HUGE MISTAKE!!! They've done very little of substance to the franchise mode. I actually think they've made it worse. So let's get into this further. What really kills the franchise mode for me is the menu's. Why the Madden team can't settle on a decent functional menu is beyond me. I mean a key part of your season is your record and you can't even seen your record on the main menu screen. You have to search through millions of different screens to find the stats and info that you want. It's almost like they're so ashamed of the little addition they've made to things like scouting and the draft that they through it on the back page to hide it from people. I've had issues with Madden games in the past but this is the first one that I've bought and literally only put a few hours into it and said to hell with it. The reason I did give it a few points though is that I do think the gameplay is improved. I admittedly haven't played a Madden since like Madden 13 so I don't know if the improvements were in past years games but the gameplay has a little better animations and the tackles flow better than in the 13 version. With that said, this is a pretty low bar I'm setting here. Overall I think to catch up with other sports games they need a completely new engine. The IGNITE engine is/was a complete failure imo. It seems like it was just a reskin or the older generations engine. So just to sum this up, unless you only buy Madden purely for the gameplay and nothing else, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GAME!!! All the so called improvements in the franchise mode are minimal and most of them are terrible.
