This game was gifted to me because after being burned so many times by Ubisoft, I decided not to buy their games unless discounted during sales. This game should not have been sold for the full price because in certain aspect it is simply a re-skin of Far Cry 4. There really was no surprise that the game wasn't well optimized. Although it ran considerably better than previous games there were problem in the form of fps drops and character lag as they moved. Since the last Ubisoft game I've played on my PC, I have upgraded from my old specs (i7/24gbram/970) to now an (i7/24gbram/980Ti). Although in this case it did not help much. The game is not well optimized as far as CPU utilization is concerned. Perhaps dual core processors might have a better shot at a smoother game. As far as gameplay is concerned I had fun. I had fun taming the beasts. I had fun crafting the new weapons. I had fun with the colourful characters. Story although not in any way unique was also enjoyable. What is undeniable however is that this game is a Far Cry re-skin. The map is from Far Cry 4 and a number of the mechanics are from Far Cry 4. This guy should have been sold at a slight discount from full price. After a patch or two the game should be running quite well.

Its not **** about all the praise I can give this game. It should be understood that Ubisoft have made this game their yearly cashcow, like BF is for EA and COD is for Activision. Ubisoft took an extra bit of time to release the PC port but it was all for nought as the port is sub-par and does not stand up to games like the Witcher 3. After re-dedicating itself to the PC platform one again this year, Ubisoft has not lived up to its promise. Assassins's Creed Syndicate is just another forgettable entry into a series and it certainly is not worth the price tag. I recommend you pick it up a little later when its had a price cut.

The game is an unoptimized mess, which isn't anything new for a Bethesda game. They generally get a pass because of the worlds that they create and the stories that they create. They also get a pass because they allow the modding community a lot of freedom. But the thing that Bethesda cannot be forgiven for in a post Witcher 3 world is essentially repackaging Fallout 3 with slightly upgraded graphics. The game you see is not representative of a modern game. Besides the bugs, glitches, jaggies, fov...I am sick and tired of having to mess around with ini files. This game will probably be fixed down the road and the modding community is already doing wonderful things, but for the time being the game is not worth buying. We deserve better.

You would think that 24gb of ram is enough for just about anything. NOT the case with Call of Duty: Black Ops III. I frequently crash to the desktop and I'm still not sure what is causing that. The system I'm running is slightly older with a core i7 920, GTX 970 and as mentioned above 24gb ddr3. The specs are more than adequate for running this game at high settings, however, I have had to lower the settings considerably just to get the game running. So not only is 24gb not sufficient, neither is the GDDR5 ram on the gpu. There are significant frame drops during gameplay and cut-scenes. The game to simply put it is horribly optimized. I will be asking for a refund.

The first time I launched this game it crashed. The second time I launched this game it crashed. The third time I launched it, it stayed at the options menu while I was looking through stuff for about 3 minutes after which is proceeded to crash. I then proceeded to close down all other applications to see if it would help. I am running an i7 920 / GTX 970 / 24GB ram, it isn't the bleeding edge but pretty damn close. After I shut down every other application, I ran the game...seemed to run find this time. I still don't know what caused it but I sincerely doubt it was due to a shortage of ram. I got into the game, I was fully aware of the fact that it was capped at 30fps. I wanted to play it just as is first before messing with the ini file. Naturally turned up everything to the highest settings and the result was extremely poor performance, frame drops and tons of stuttering. It is not playable. I then turned down the settings which does not help it much. The astonishing thing is that even with settings turned up high the game graphically does not look good. When I went around searching for the issues on the internet, there are clear images showing the astonishing amount of detail on the PS4 version of the game and the surprising lack of texture detail on the PC version. Stuff like shadows, rain physics are extremely poor on the PC on the PC version. I proceeded to fiddle around in the ini file to set the framerate to 60fps/120fps to see if it would help anything. Nope still broken. The game is an unoptimized mess and until it is patched unplayable.

This particular franchise was doing amazing. I still get goosebumps watching Transformers: Fall of Cybertron E3 trailer (Developed by High Moon Studios). And then there is this game. Activision most likely thought that this series was doing to well. Must make it **** make it crap they did. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is nothing like its predecessors. The game itself for a lack of a better word is **** the PC port is even worse. This game feels like the type that gets tacked onto a movie released. Everyone knows it will be bad but they just tack it on to make more money. Consider Fall of Cybertron the last good game and just assume this POS never got made. Avoid like the PLAGUE!

Server problems were fixed and I was able to get on to play finally.......Once in after you've played a bit you notice that game mechanics are not great and they've cut corners. The game in terms of overall gameplay has not been thought out well enough. SimcCity had been a single player game, this time around they made the mistake of putting more emphasis on the Multiplayer aspect. This leads to very small city sizes, you're expected to work with other cities. Of course where you don't want to and want to have the old big city style game play...well you're out of luck. I feel as though because of this always on DRM they've tailored the game around it. Since it has been essentially proven that the servers are not doing any **** becoming very clear that the small city sizes and working with others came after it was decided that there was going to be always on drm. This is an epic failure in my opinion and in my opinion just ruins this would be great game.
