And yet another game destroyed by modern accessibility **** not explore, we will mark everything on the map for you.A puzzle? Do not think by yourself, the annoying character in turn will keep telling you exactly what to do, even before you try once.Huge auto tracking for hits.Difficulty modes that do not matter a single thing, i do not understand why game has "difficulty modes" if you can freely change it without consequences in the same playthru... Whats the point?Awful cheesy writing, dumb dialogues, uninterested plots. And the villain, Jesus Crist... so dumb and cringe.Everything is so dull, so anodyne. **** has good graphics with 60fps, that's the only good thing of the game.
This is just ridiculous, wtf is this garbage? Auto-Heal, Auto-Attack, Auto-Evade, Slow-time every time the enemy attacks... On "Action" (normal) difficulty! And the game put 2 other NPC to help you. The enemy literally stand in front of you and do nothing until all the Auto systems and NPCs finish the battle for you... Why will anyone need the "easy" difficulty on this game when "normal" has all that help? It makes no sense, this game play itself, you do not need to be there. This devs really believe you are incapable of play any videogames at all, or maybe they think players have way too many **** problem is not that this videogame is easy, the problem is there is no game here, just video. Why will someone pay 70 USD to see this movie play itself? Story seems decent and characters are very good looking so why not just "play it" for free on YouTube. Square just wanted to make another CGI movie, and it would have been better that way.
Not the complete improvement i was expecting for, but more like a "let's make more Blasphemous for the sake of make more" kind of thing...There is improvements in 2 important areas the first game was lacking: Combat movements and traversal. They added the 3-weapons system from F.I.S.T Forged in Shadow Torch together with more common metroidvania movement like double jump and airdash.Other areas fall from the first one; story feels more like an addendum, bosses have less impactful presentation, most of them can be described as soldiers/warriors instead of the abomination of the first game, the overall feel of the game is less bizarre and less gory, cutscenes are not pixel art anymore but "clean" animation, less gritty, glory kills are not enemy unique anymore and there's not NG+ this **** just feel like a HUGE DLC for Blasphemous 1.
This game shocks me, I was not expecting to be this good, i only buy it because it was a super cheap bundle it with my PS5. I'm not a rogue-like player, i only played DeadCells and Moonlighter before this and i drop those game in few hours. But this one feels so good, so **** gameplay is perfect, its fast, fluid and **** music is awesome, it totally get you in the mood and the sound design is top. Biomes and enemies looks good.Boss fights are **** everything is seasoned with a space mystery/horror **** the Difficult is excellent, right on the point, not impossible but challenging. This is one of those game where everything works together just perfectly, every gear fit: gameplay, visual, sound and story works in harmony.I got some complains:First one is a personal thing, i'm a physical games dude, i want my games on disc/cart, i always buy physical and i always play the 1.00 version (the one on the disc) first. And this game 1.00 version is quite buggy, even game breaking bugs, i was not able to finish this game without update it because of 2 key items not spawning on the map. Also the 3rd act of the game is kind of cheap grinding, but it's only for unlocking the True Ending, so I forgive it. So my real complain with the game was the story, i like the ambiguity and mystery throughout the game, BUT, i want to finish the game and get answers... I achieve the True Ending and i still don't know WTF was going on. Way too cryptic, i'm not even sure the whole thing is not just a dream induced by Selene's ****, It would have been nice to have a good explanation at the end, I would have given it a perfect grade if that were the case, but anyway... The rest of the game's aspect are so good that i'm ok. Very underated game.
Imaging making the game not dead easy like DQXI, with not just lovely character, but sexy characters, without modern censorship and without modern bash on sex appeal or fan service. Now add funny moments that are actually funny and finally add the sense of adventure that old JRPGs used to have. That sum what DQVIII do well. You actually die in this game and dying have consequences, dead character can only be revive on save points (till you get the magic to revive, but that's like 20h into the game and it's a 50/50 magic) and getting wipe out take half of your money. I would not say this is a hard game, it's not, but is not completely easy. The look is a 10 out of 10 for a PS2 game, the jump from DQ7 is HUGE, the biggest in all the series. Toriyama's character design is beautiful, even for NPCs. Jessica gets a lot of fan service costumes and details, I'm always grateful for that, because is something modern mainstream games are not allow to have anymore. For me the weakest part of the design are the monsters, i can't get used to the goofy monsters of DQ games. Scenarios and overall world looks awesome. The world is very open and the sense of "going in an adventure" is very strong, there's no waypoint or HUD message saying where to go all the time. The story is super simple and classic, cliché, i would say. Alchemy and Monster Arena do a decent job to add some variety to the formula. My main complain is how painfully SLOW everything is... No skip, nothing have skip here.
Saving takes take like 10 unnecessary question and/or menu movement, same with item movements, menu navigation, everything. Random encounters makes exploration feel slow too, I feel for PS2 era we should already have real monsters on the map. Also, this game is grindy, unfortunately, the main and almost only way the game knows to add difficulty is raising levels, farming is almost mandatory. There's very little place for skill or tactic in this game, gameplay is super straight foward, plain for RPG standards. Status-effect, buffs/nerfs, elemental rock-paper-scissor... pretty much all is negated in most important battles, they feel useless to be honest. So if you want a comfy adventure and you have the necessary patience, i recommend this game, its one of those works where you can clearly see it was made with love. In my opinion this is the right game to get into the Dragon Quest series.
The good: >Battle system is very original, the real time combo system is fun and kind of deep if played in Hard.
>NO RANDOM ENCOUNTERS... In a PS1 JRPG! That's really awesome.
>Dungeons again, very original, you explore them like a 2D platformer. They look great, lot of different themes, labyrinthine design and full of puzzles and without holding hands.
>20+ character to choose, each with a unique move set and unique Finisher attack. Tho I would have preferred less characters but with more evolution to them, like a 4th move or a 2nd Finisher when reaching certain level.
>Good blend of 2D sprites with 3D light effects.
>Beautiful art design. The Bad: >Like most JRPG of this generation, the game is quite slow; mandatory dialogues, no cutscene skip, etc.
>There is no visual change on characters; armors or weapons does not reflect on the battles, not even on effects, like fire or ice damage.
>As good as dungeons are, the towns feels useless, there is close to nothing to do on them. Go there, get the Einherjar, get out.
>The World map is pointless.
>The Story seems good but it get nowhere, it's like everything got cut at the end, also VERY ANTICLIMATIC Ending, i know there's a secret Ending, but the normal ending should feel like and Ending. I feel the game is good but overstay it welcome.
Just like with the original from 2005, if you take it as a RE this is a bad game; the story and setting are dumb and Leon is pretty much John Rambo, i always resented that from RE4, it turned RE from a survivor horror series to a full action game... That aside, if you take it simply as a Action game this remake is great:
The content is amazing, the game feels big, complete and sufficient. (I'm not even talking about extras or DLC, just base game)The new mechanics feels just right, like they truely belong to the game; the quick weapon swap, the parry or the way they implement the original QTEs as a more gameplay-ish mechanic. And the pinnacle to all this improvements are boss battles, they are no doubt better than the original RE4 boss battles. This are the best boss battles of any RE games so far. Just a little caveat to this, you MUST play it in Hardcore, that's where this game shine. I have 2 main complains: 1. There's is a level of modern "sanitization" to the game... You know, the "This is problematic now, remove it" kind of ****. 2. The hold-my-hand spoilers on the loading screens. You don't have to find out how to beat things, the game spoils you the emotion of discover the enemy's weakness by yourself. I hate when games do that. So, even when i love classic zombie RE games, at the end this is a very amusing and fun game to play, i can't get mad to that. Also, this game runs pretty bad on PS4, lots of bad textures and framerate. The Island scenario is a framerate disaster, it was clearly designed for PS5.
Totally a Resident Evil wannabe but the game is actually good, better than most RE "clones" from back then or even modern ones. A bit more sci-fi than horror and a bit more difficult than most RE. If you like classics RE you will enjoy this. And again, a solid candidate for a Remake.
I tried, i love the lore and story of this game, the characters, how the bosses looks, the music is amazing, love what they try to do with the gameplay and combat BUT this game is borderline unplayable. The framerate, controls and camera are atrocious. The camera & controls prevent me from have any fun with this game. **** exist that NEEDS a remake is this.
A broken 2D clone of Bloodborne.
This thing is no even finish; softlocks, Bosses not appearing on screen, bad balancing... Just go play Blasphemous 1 & 2, again.
Being a Miyazaki's Souls game already make it better than 90% of games out there, i want to make that clear, but i got some problems with it:I think the open world adds nothing good to the souls formula, sure, we finally have a open world game with top-tier level design castles and dungeons, but souls-games already had that. On the other hand i think that being open world actually hurts some aspect of the souls experience, like NPC Quests, which were already weird and messy on normal souls, but now it's just impossible to keep track or discover it by yourself. Another thing hurt in my opinion is NG+ (a big part of souls-games) NG+ and FromSoftware style of NPC Quests are not designed for a 150h game, it's way too much. Being totally honest after a reaching like 90~100 hours of gameplay i stop caring about the game and just wanted to rush everything to end it, i was tired/bored of the game. That have never happen to me on any other Miyazaki's game.Another thing that puzzle me is what the heck was George Martin doing in this game? Cause the story is the same thing Miyazaki is being doing for 14 years... The lore is almost the same if we change Great Runes by Lord Souls. Also some open world areas like Montaintops, Nokron or Deeproot runs like sht on PS4, literally a power point presentation, the worst performance i have seen on PS4 so far, it's like Dark Souls Blighttown on PS3 **** good of the game? The main legacy location (Stormveil, Raya Lucaria, The Capital, etc) are excellent, on the top of FromSoftware level. I think a shorter game with just those would have being better.Bosses are ok, but there's a lot of repetition, tho. They got to fill those open world areas with **** of magics if that's your play style.Last boss looks cool, but is a horrible fight, it's a "run and try to catch me" game more than a ****, what i'm saying is: It's a good game, but compared to all previous FromSoftware Souls-game i have played (DS1, BB, Sekiro & DS3) it's my least favorite. This is Dark Souls 3 but stretched and diluted on a open world map.
Just another Megaman... A very plain one. When i think about Megaman 8, i can still hear the music in my mind, or recall the clown level or the ice skate level, or remember the flying robot on the fortress. But this one is just... forgettable. About the changes and new mechanics, i don't like the Gears system or how bolts are not collectible anymore but just coins. The only good thing about the game is that even on normal, this game is hard enough, that give you a good reason to upgrade and buy stuff. So that's a good change compared to Megaman 8. In pretty much the whole playthrough all i could think was: Megaman is stuck, the structure feel dated, i don't want to play the same game again. Megaman needs an evolution, maybe a reboot. Let's make a good story for a change or more/longer bosses, or different types of levels, even a new fckng final Boss that is not yet again Dr.Willy-on-a-skull! Compared to other games of this genre, Megaman 11 feels old and barebone, Megaman can not even shoot upwards after all this decades...
Another game ruined by a "Dumb down the game for me" toggle on settings... just put that "Tale Relic" in ON and you're invincible... What's the point of play the game? Dropped until they add some hard mode or something.
This will be a long one, cause this was one of my favorite PS1 games and it was the very first RPG i played in my life. First thing to clear is; this game suffers from all the well known JRPG problems of its age: Slowness, no customization on character (no costumes, armors doesn't reflect on characters appearance, not even the weapons) annoying random encounters and the most important: painful EASINESS, which IMO is the biggest flop of this game, cause it affect others thing the game do well, like gameplay. The story is mid, the whole idea is good, there's some good moments, twist or revelations, but ultimately fails to have you emotionally involved in the long run. I liked the ending, for the most part, but Yuna should have died. So, with bad things clear out, here is why i still like the game: 1. I like the the way it does turn base combat, with commands executing in a kind of simultaneous way, this allow the Combo System, which i love. 2. I love the Master System, it's like an In-game-rewarded "trophies/achievements" system. 3. One of my most beloved role on Final Fantasy is Blue Mage, this game is the reason why. Here, Blue Mage is a universal mechanic for all characters. 4. Love the music, it's not as good as FF, but is very good. 5. This is probably the only RPG where i like the whole roster. The rest is just a bunch of little things and quirks i like about the game, like how the money in this game have value, a lot mini games, the faeries thing, etc. I just which the game were harder, all those nice mechanics and quirks are ultimately worthless because the game is WAY too easy, it's just a walk until you reach the very last locations (The Tomb, Capital and Final Castle) that help to make the game feels boring, your are never in peril, i finish the game with only 1 game over (against the last boss and mostly because I thought it was scripted to die) I wish that final area difficulty was the default from the beginning. It also lack some end game dungeon/area where you can use all the things you master. The game let's you play after the last save, but there's no real reason to do it, since you already kill 99% of enemies.
Ok, you got a A+ on presentation and effort, BUT, this is not a game, it's maybe half ****, i beat it in 2 and a half hours (on normal) that's WAY TOO little, even for indie standards. The "story" is hilariously bad, it's like an elementary school stage play. Also, this can be recommended as "my very first shmup" cause the game is super permissive with hits and has pretty much infinite lives, great for someone that have never play this type of games.
Time has not been kind to this game, feels awfully dated. I'm not a graphic vvhore but there's a point where the overall bad look of the game gets between me and enjoying the game. Also it suffers from a lot of JRPG "old ways": Bad camera work, way to much and way too repetitive random encounters, lack of personalization on characters, slowness... I can force me to endure some of those thing in old games, but the game has to hook me with something else, i don't feel that "something else" here so i won't keep playing it. I'm sure story will get good, but i will pass and wait, maybe the future will bring a remake or something for this title.
So, let's make everybody hate me: I do not like this FF, i though i liked back in the 2000 but now i got boring playing it. First i will say what i liked: >I Love Vivi and Vivi's story, easily my favorite thing of the game. >For a 2000 game i think the presentation is 10/10, scenarios are beautifully made and the FMV are spectacular for PS1 gen. >I like the Tetra Master minigame. >I like the Ability Stones system. And what i don't like: >I HATE the Limit Break replacement (Trance); It's so random and irregular; they trigger in the most mundane moment, most of them are just lame and static, they don't evolve. Meanwhile the Zidane one is brokenly OP. >The game is so easy it get boring, the only part when i feel in danger was the mere beginning, simply because your party is incomplete and the character have nothing yet, once you get to disc 3, is just a walk. >Story is not bad, but i hate that they make a spectacular destruction (pretty much a nuke) in a cutscene but then everybody is ok? Feels so cheese. >I hate Quina, it's a dumb and unappealing character, and to make it even worse... It's the Blue Mage of the party. BM are one of my favorite jobs/classes cause you have to actively look for the spells to grow the character. One of the most awesome class behind the worse character of the game. >And finally i think the game feels slow. It start strong on me, nostalgia on 100%, but the more i play, the less i want to keep playing it.
Oh what a unique game. I never beat this game as a kid and now i see why, this game is hard and there's no holding hand here, the game expect you to learn and explore by your own. That's just so good and rare in today's industry. The story is mature, cryptic, convoluted and is presented with a strangely good camera work for PS1 generation. Only two things I would have liked to be better: first, I would have liked the armor changes to be reflected in Ashley appearance, just like weapons do. And more important, this game NEEDS a quick weapon swap! The game demands you to have the right weapon for the right enemy, you need at least 3 different affinity weapons at all time and it's a pain to be changing weapons on the normal menu, this game needs a d-pad quick weapon swap. Can believe Square just forgot about this gem, it totally deserve to have a sequel.
This was my first RE back on PS1 era. I feel it shorter than i remember and some mechanics have not aged well, also the dialogues feels kind of dumb, i guess i never pay attention to that as a kid. But they nail it with Nemesis, it's a lot scarier than the the new one from the Remake (which i can tell now miss quite some thing from this) Still my favorite RE from original trilogy.
Not a bad game, but Bosses are so repetitive, normal enemies too, same enemy, different colors. Art design and OST are regular, maybe because is a remake from a very basic game. I've seen much better Metroidvanias.
I wanted to replay this to see how it has aged. Still a decent game, tho: >Lots of details and secrets that are up to the player to discover. There's no holding hand here. >Awesome soundtrack >Huge bestiary >That big "true ending" gimmick it's amazing, i remember that blow my mind when i play it for the first time. But some aspect have aged poorly, mainly: >The bosses, kind of basic and limited, compared to modern metroidvanias, you can just face tank 90% of bosses >And the dumb/cringe dialogues.
Lame try to revive the Valkyrie Profile IP. >Story is boring and cheap. >Repetitive scenarios, repetitive reskinned enemies the entire game. >No real exploration, pretty much nothing to do except fight. >Extra quests are SO LAME, its just repetitive "go to the same area, clear the enemies again". >NPCs are just light on the map, no art, anodyne dialogues, it's totally uninteresting. In the first hours of the game you already don't give a crap about the einherjars backstories. >ONLY 4 FCKING EINHERJARS, they just don't know what a VP games is. Only 2 good things IMO, the combat is ok and the bosses are really good. Bosses were the sole reason why i didn't drop this game. Soleil doesn't know what they are doing. This game reeks low-effort. Also, it runs kind of bad on PS4, Nibelung Valesti animation looks like running at 15fps, same when theres too many enemies on screen.
It has those stupid "dumb down the game for me" option on the settings, so that's an instant garbage, lazy and boring game for me. Make a proper hard mode or something. Thanks god we have refunds on PC.
Good intentions, bad results. They 100% nail the atmosphere and feeling of a true 90's Survivor Horror game; the scenario, music and level design of the hospital is superb. The puzzles are good, very cryptic and challenging. But the rest... the rest is AWFUL: The character models are horrendous. Caroline, the priest and most enemies looks so bad that they seems like coming from a whole different game, looks and behave like mannequins. The contrast against the rich and detailed environment is way too big. Now add one of worst VA i have seen in a videogame and you have the cringest cutscene in history. Every scripted interaction in this game is awful. Another big problem is the performance, bad framerate in a lot of areas and way to long loading screens. (PS4) The story again; good intention, bad execution. It's kind of close to Silent Hill, but with dumb mirror-time-travels, lame dialogues and a disappointed final boss.
The puzzles are top-tier, they actually make you stop a minute and pay attention on what you suppose to do. Probably the best puzzles i have seen on a Survivor Horror game. The radio mechanic is quite interesting. The rest is a big "Meh, whatever..." Combat is ok, i guess... with some modern accessibility bllsht. Enemies are repetitive and boring. No real final boss. Lacking soundtrack . Story is some 2deep4you crap. Characters are non-important. Puzzles are only worth thing of this game.
Way too boring. You can shift difficulty on mid playthru, thing that i hate. There's no challenge that way. Character looks ugly, specially women. Game don't stop holding my hand, which is really annoying. Story and art are good.
One of the best 8° gen games. (I played Word and Iceborne as a whole) Monster design and animation are 10/10 The biomas are so rich and detailed that actually do not looks like a MH game. Excellent soundtrack. A truckload of content, almost too much. I only complaint about 2 things: 1. A tad grindy; those single digit % drops (Pallium, Mantles, etc) are just bllsht to unnecessary repeat hunts. Also Guiding Lands are just plain grinding rampage, screw that. 2. This is the first game in 2 generations that make me think loading screens are a big problem. That's wayyyyy too many and way too long loading screens, playing on PS4. Everything else, simply great.
Pro >Top-tier sprite animation >Really hard >Decent word size for a MV Cons >LOTS of bugs and glitches >Glitched inputs (using a Dinput controller) >Kind of bad map for a Metroidvania (you can not see clearly if an area is completed) >No remap for dash button (really WTF?) >Monotone background, its like you're always on the same place. >Regular to bad OST >Magics and special attacks do not visually change when upgraded (lame) Overall the game feels like an unpolish copy of Blasphemous, go play that one instead.
This could have been a good game if it wasn't for the fact that it has 90% of the crap western devs put on modern games nowadays: >Let's put "secrets" on the game, then reveal all secrets in the map, so player don't has to think, cause player are idiots... >Oh, a new enemy appears! then let's put a fking ad that spoil the weakness of that enemy, so player don't need to find out playing the game, cause player are idiots... >Let's put beacon all the time to the place you must go, so players don't need to explore, cause player are idiots... >Oh, you died, I'm so sorry, take this overpowered armor the make you invincible, so you don't have to learn the boss, cause, you know, player are idiots... Also, there is a big problem on core gameplay in this game, they somehow manage to ruin what feels so good on Doom 2016. The pace is awful, it's like they want you to be technical, making every demon require specific weapon-mod-weakpoint combination, but also throws at you a horde of 20 demons on a close space with infinite respawn... And that doesn't combine well with the ammo mechanic of this game. Doom 2016 manage these a lot simpler, better IMO. Music is good, but not as good as Doom 2016. It has some good things tho: >The dash is a good addition >The last maps, Nekravol and Urdak looks really good. >The way they try to present the Slayer as a complete badass is appreciated in these days where most characters are more like pathetic or lame.
Excellent game, with probably the best melee system of any action-adventure game. Challenging, fast and beautiful. Nice characters and good story. A LOT of mini-bosses. Not that full of options like previous FromSoftware games (weapons, outfits, builds, etc) but still and amazing game. Final boss it's super hard but awesome to master.
I replay it on PS4 from PC. The same excellent game, with probably the best melee system of any action-adventure game. Challenging, fast and beautiful. Nice characters and good story. A LOT of mini-bosses. Not that full of options like previous FromSoftware games (weapons, outfits, builds, etc) but still and amazing game. Final boss it's super hard but awesome to master. Only caveat on PS4 is the bad framerate, specially on Ashina Castle.
It doesn't hook me. I like hard games, but this doesn't feel rewarding. Maybe the art or the content doesn't fit me. I don't hate it but its not interesting enough for me.
Combat: Amazing, love the combo system. Bosses: Very good Platforming: Quite good Story: Very bad and cliché Poster/paints nods: I love it. Translation (spanish) is all over the place, with a lot of clipped out-of-screen text. Saves works weird, the autosave give you full health/resource back, which make the game TOO EASY. I think you should only respawn on the repair machine, not in mid-level. Also, let me skip the cutscenes on bosses, that's annoying when you're grinding a boss. I like the game BUT IT NEEDS WORK. I hope for a updated/fixed physical release on the future. Yes, i know there's physical release on Asia, i'm talking about west release.
Good controls compared to other Metroid games. Difficulty is good. Bosses are good, but there's too few of then compared to others games of this style. Story is average. And the premise is becoming way too repetitive: Go to a planet, loose your equip so go get the Suit, Morphball, Rays all over again... Music is not specially good. A bit too short and there's no real extra content like most metroidvanias, no alt endings or secret bosses, areas or quest. Not bad, but not specially good either, it's ok. I wish they would try to push some boundaries with Metroid, indie games are doing amazing things with the genre.
I didn't wanted to be that rough with the game, because i genuinely think that it was made with love. But right now, at the end of chapter 6 i'm quite sure i will not continue the game. Its not that i hate it, it's just that i'm boring with it. The game has a very strong first impression, the pixelart is beautiful, the Zelda/SNES nostalgia is strong, and the lovely main characters makes you instantly fall in love with the game. But the more you play the more that motivation goes away... Way to heavy (for me) with the JRPG-ish dialog (not skippable) about so many damn things, its like 70% of the game is just sitting on my chair pressing X to read about some mundane quest just to have 30% of actual gameplay or puzzles... Not saying that's inherently bad, just saying it does not hook me, it fail to be interesting to me. Also, i can understand that combat is not the focus of the game, but when there is combat it doesn't feel rewarding or entertainment. So at the end those two things combined make the game boring for me. Also, it's really annoying not being able to return to old towns, the game just ask for that feature.
The worst map i have ever seen on a metroidvania. Music is repetitive, always kind of the same melody, sound effects are bad too, everything sound so weak and floaty. Art is ok, but too dark, everything looks kind of the same. Combat is ok and obviously it takes a lot of gameplay things from Hollow Knight
Hit or Miss? More like a hit and a miss: >Bosses are cool as hell, same with Summons. >Motorball fight was a fantastic upgrade from the original. >The OST is superb. >Characters can be really lovely or very annoying, same with story, one moment is a masterpiece of nostalgia and the next is a fcking cringe fest. >The flirting trio is enjoyable. >Level design is cheap and pure hallways. >Too much filler, everything is so slow. They want to make it look like a whole game and the results is just a mess. >The whisper thing is so dull an awful. >Everything after the Motorball is completely unnecessary and ruin the original story. That thing should .happen wayyyyyyy later on next games, not now. >Combat is also a hit and a miss at the same time, when it works is good, but when not, you feels like is a hot garbage without control. Its doesn't feel consistent. I wish they had left turn-based combat, that would have been great. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either.
Good: >Carlos is better than original >Nemesis battles Bad: >Jill is now a cvnt >Too short >Less content than original RE3 >More lineal than RE2 Remake >No "decision choise" from the original Is nice to have more RE Remake action, but this feels like a glorified DLC for the previous game. It must have been a single game from the start.
Very good speed and movement. Nice ping system and nice respawn system. Awful character design. Very fun to play. A better experience without all the PC cheaters, but also needs better frame rate, it's obvious that the game pretty much never hit the target 60fps needed for a decent shooter game.
Beautiful and rich maps Glorious monsters with superb animation Nice music A lot of armor sets and weapons Amazing game, the only con i can think is that it become a bit grindy with all the Low or High Rank stuff
Not bad, but they need to stop hold my hand every second, telling me what, how and where to do things. Let the player figure it out for itself. Also, the puzzle skip is stupid, if you don't want people to solve puzzles just don't put it in the game. Challenge difficulty should be open from the beginning since the game is too easy and most weapons are OP. The Rails and Race levels are fun. Boss are enjoyable and the last chapters/battles of the game are actually really good, they are hard and make you think about your different weapons uses. Story is just lame and annoying.
Very good unfulfilled intentions. The aiming system, the action points and the real ballistic instead of RNG **** is the way to go for this kind of game in the future. But as a game PP need more work, more content: maps, ENEMIES, different kind of missions, maybe bosses...? Because the game feels unfinished and a bit grindy sometimes, making the same havens defence again and again. Also, on release the game is way too buggy. Ending needs more work too. They feels a bit disappointing. It's rough around the edges, but with future work it could be a good game.
Combat is good with a lot of options and mechanics Good difficulty. The Story is a weak point; messy, boring and feels like your are just a mere spectator, not the protagonist almost until the end of the game Also the game is almost too long for it own good. And the loot system is so noisy an convoluted, so many sets almost identical with random stats, it loose appeal to collect then.
Definitely not my thing. The gimmick of shot the bow for dash is just annoying. And you can not die to bosses, so whats the point of a having boss? Story is regular, super cliché
This game has VERY big problem of grinding and is too repetitive. The bestiary is too small, same bunnys, boars and birds all the game. Combat looks good and i should be good, but again, feels repetitive. Bosses are very forgettable since you can just spam attack, i never really need it to learn their pattern. The Rice part get boring really fast after a couple of years.
