I'm one of those die-hard fans, who has a tendency to get really defensive when people criticize anything about Borderlands, but that ended last night when I powered it on only to discover there is NO VERTICAL SPLIT-SCREEN option. To add insult to injury, I can't read anything on the screen unless I am a foot from the screen, I can barely see what's going on no matter what I do with the FOV and brightness settings, there is an unacceptable amount of input lag when aiming, and when someone goes into the menu, the lag/framerate drop makes it so the other person can't even play. And to add injury to injury, my wife was getting motion sickness so she had to stop playing - literally unplayable. Not to mention the many other bugs/glitches in the game. Imagine waiting 7 years for something, taking a week and a half vacation from work, waiting in line with smelly nerds for an hour at EB Games (GameStop), spending $135.60 CAD (after tax, Super Deluxe), getting a babysitter for your kids, then not even being able to play the game! This is a MONUMENTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. Returning the game and going back to work on Monday. Thanks a lot, Gearbox.

In my opinion, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is the best game ever (Zelda or otherwise), but I would say Breath of the Wild is the best 3D Zelda (with Ocarina of Time coming in a close 2nd).

I've only ever played one other Telltale game (The Walking Dead, Season 1), which I enjoyed a lot, so I figured I'd like this game, since I love the other Borderlands games. I figured right, and then some. Not a huge fan of the Telltale-style gameplay mechanics, but I loved the story and characters so much. I wish there was an easier way to know the different outcomes of making different choices, and I wish they gave you a bit more time to decide, but that is a very minor complaint. I should also mention that the music is awesome in this game. I am sad it's over. Excellent, excellent game.

If you loved or liked classic JRPG's, you will probably love this game! Technically, it's an 8 or 9 out of 10, but I had to give it a 10 to outweigh some of the silly negative reviews this game undeservedly receive. I know, that's not how it should work, but that's what I did because I don't want fellow 16-bit JRPG lovers to miss this because they think it's mediocre based on the average score. Sure, there are a few things that can be irritating, but there is nothing game-breaking and it's definitely NOT a game to pass up. If you are approx. 20-45 years old and liked JRPG's on your SNES or Genesis, then you should buy this game (not limited to those ages of course - I just think it's just the most-likely age group to enjoy it). It doesn't cost a fortune and is worth every penny and then some. Very nostalgic and a great game overall. Highly recommended.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

This is by far the best Zelda game since A Link to the Past. It's a shame it took Nintendo 22 years to realize that the top-down 2D style of Zelda is the BEST style of Zelda. I really hope they learned their lesson so I don't have to wait another 2 decades for another one! Keep the 2D top-down Zelda games coming! At first I was turned off by the art style, but after playing it, I not only got used to it (almost immediately), but I actually really like it now! Also, the wall painting mechanic I thought would be gimmicky and dumb, but it's actually pretty cool and I really like it now too! The new item system allows a new sort of freedom (tackling dungeons in any order you want is pretty neat).. If you found the game too easy, a hard mode unlocks after you beat the game, which is a nice challenge. The music and frequent references to A Link to the Past are nostalgia heaven! The original Zelda, ALTTP, and Link's Awakening were the best Zelda games and A Link Between Worlds is right up there with them! Go buy it if you haven't already! You will love it! It's the game of the decade and certainly game of the year for me! Thank you, Nintendo!

If you like breakout-type games, you MIGHT like this game. It's slow, occasionally frustrating, and boring! The controls aren't that great, and it's even a bit confusing. Waste of time. Not even worth the 74 cents I paid for it! It enticed me with "RPG" and it let me down. Do not recommend.
