Graphics/performance 3/10 - It's an older game so obviously the graphics aren't as good as modern games. My main issue was the performance. The game crashes ever 10min on PC. Had to redo entire story sections because the auto-saves ****. Also tons of texture pop in when traversing the open world. Gameplay 3/10 - Gun play feels awful. The sensitivity for being scoped in is the same as when yore not, making aiming on controller without VATS impossible. At the same time, VATS doesn't work father than 3ft. The weapon sway is also insane. There's also no sprinting for some reason. Also going in and out of casinos would clear my quick menu for guns, so I ended up just not using it at all. Also most the gameplay is just walking through a dessert. Without the radio I woulda lost my mind. Story 5/10 - The story is overrated. You are a delivery guy who had his package stolen and are trying to get it back. Halfway through the main quest, you confront the guy who stole the package and get it back. After that the story nosedives, as the main goal becomes unclear and the game just turns into helping random NPC's do their chores. If the gunplay was actually fun and my game wasn't crashing every 10min, I might have actually wanted to do more side quests. People say the side quests are where most the good stuff is but I could not be asked. Also, literally half the NPC's are voiced by the same 1 guy, Yuri Lowenthal, the guy who does Sasuke Uchiha and Spiderman. Every time I would hear his voice, my emersion would be ruined. The fact this game was made in 16 months shows, they needed more voice actors. Overall this was my least favorite of the Fallout games. The performance issues and clunky gameplay make it hard for me to recommend. Only people I could see enjoying this are people who want a game where you spend 100+ hours going through dialog with random NPC's.
The story gets a lot of hate but I found it very compelling trying to find the truth behind the synths. Graphics and combat are the best in the series. This is my favorite Fallout game for sure.
Story 9/10 - Story is simple but the music is really good and the way the game pays homage to Mario history is very well done.
Graphics 8/10 - Colorful and interesting locations, able to merge 2D and 3D at times, it was very creative.
Gameplay 10/10 - Fun bosses, more challenging than I thought it would be. Movement takes some getting used to. The hat is used in very unique ways. Swinging the controller would do specific attacks. I've never seen that done well in a game until now. Overall 9/10 - Had a blast playing it. It's Mario 64 for the new generation.
Graphics 8/10 - Wish they put ray tracing on all the glass. Facial animations are nothing crazy. The city however, looks really good and detailed.
Story 7/10 - Wont go into spoilers but the story is ok I guess. The side missions weren't too fun though. Gameplay 8/10 - Shooting lazers from your hands is fun and parkour through the city is great, but clearing the fog gets tedious and it takes ages to upgrade damage. Overall - It's a fun game I would recommend grabbing on sale since its pretty short.
Graphics 6/10 - Looks ok for the most part, some facial animations seem off, some low res textures, some low fps animations on certain effects, and reflections aren't the best. Story 9/10 - Wont spoil much but the villains were very well done. Gameplay 8/10 - gunplay feels good but map exploration isn't as intuitive as other RE games. Overall 8/10 - great horror game, would recommend if you like the genre.
It's like RE2 but without all the backtracking. I see that as a win, some people don't. As someone playing RE games for the 1st time with no expectations, this game was more enjoyable than RE2 for me. RE2 might have more content, but this is more fun.
Graphics 10/10 - Full RXT, great facial animations/character design, no performance issues, cool environments. Story 8/10 - The main story is really good but the constant talking and jokes get annoying at times. The music is really good though.
Gameplay 7/10 - The combat is good but it doesn't evolve much after getting a few upgrades. I stopped using the skill points half way through the game cuz there was no point. Combat is also like 95% mobs 5% bosses so it gets boring fighting the mobs towards the end. Overall - This game is great but it's only about 15hrs so I would recommend getting on sale.
It feels like elden ring but just the annoying parts tbh. The story is told in riddles and I constant had to google what to do because there is no map, no quest trackers, not even a compass to tell what direction I'm going. Combat is fun for the most part but theres a weird bug where some enemies are just impossible to hit even when right beside them, the monkey would get stuck on a rock or something and not move forward enough to hit them. Also another weird bug I've seen multiple other users have as well where the heal button doesnt work sometimes, so infuriating! Doesn't help the game also has performance issues. Constant stutters and even had it frozen on the loading screen multiple times. Almost had to reinstall the game. Overall - If this game added a better way to tell where to go, and fixed the performance issues and minor combat bugs, it would be game of the year.
Graphics 9/10 - One of the best looking games I've seen, but could have used raytraced reflections and the facial animations are not the best I've seen in a game. Story 9/10 - The story is good but pretty simple honestly. I don't mind because the characters were also pretty good. Gameplay 9/10 - I played on the hardest mode and had a blast. However it is a Playstation game so expect puzzles, climbing rocks and forced stealth sections. Overall 9/10 This is top 10 all time for me
Graphics 9/10 - Very pretty but some robots are cartoonish. Story 8/10 - Reminds me of the black ops campaign as you play as a Russian sleeper agent trying to remember who they are while trying to save the world. The main character can be kinda goofy at times but I personally enjoyed the lighter tone. He reminds me of jotaro from jojo's bizzare adventure, had me laughing out loud at times but gets serious too. The music in the game is really good too. Gameplay 7/10 - Starts out pretty fun building your character and the combat feels pretty good actually, but the waves of robots do become tedious to fight through about half way through. Cool boss fights too. Just wish there was more weapon variety. Overall 8/10 - Pretty underrate game. Let down by the combat but the graphics, music, map design and boss fights are very memorable. I would recommend if you like BioShock and other games like it. Maybe not worth $60 however because of how short it is (beat it in under 20hrs), so I would grab on sale. I definitely will be playing the game again with the weapons I didn't use my 1st playthrough.
Graphics 9/10 - Stunning visuals, only nitpick is water reflections.
Story 8/10 - Cookie cutter zombie plot, some good characters, some bad
Gameplay 6/10 - Joel moves like an old man because he is. The stealth is way too slow so be enjoyable. Overall 7/10 - Basic Sony story game, filled with puzzles, climbing and combat, the story isn't too long so it doesn't drag
Pros: Graphics, story is multiple choice, traversing the map is fun, lots of attack variety, the map is very big and packed with stuff to do. Cons: target switching issue causes combat to feel clunky, minor glitches here and there, main villains aren't great, too many side quests compared to main story missions. Overall: Very easy game to pick up and play. The story and side quests are not perfect and neither is the combat, but for the most part its a fun ride.
Pros: Boss fights, new weapons, great music.
Cons: Difficulty of late fights, map design, performance issues, underwhelming plot.
Overall thoughts, only purchase this after you beat the base game so you're sure you can handle it. Disappointed by the story but the combat and music are at their best. Fromsoft needs to fix the performance though, I have a high end PC for God sake.
Cyberpunk is one of my favorite games so I thought I would play this too. Pros: nice graphics, lots of content. Cons: simple combat, music gets repetitive, slow story. Overall thoughts, story is interesting enough to keep me going but I wouldn't buy this game for full price or even recommend it to casual gamers.
So much is reused from BOTW, the map and even the plot seemed the same. The depths and sky islands I didn't find interesting. Ultrahand really saves this game, I enjoyed every power they added, it made for some interesting puzzle solving where I could solve puzzles in multiple ways. I feel like this game would be better if I never played BOTW cuz I'd actually want to explore the map more.
This is one of my favorite games, 100% complete 1000hrs but it's not a perfect game. First playthrough of this game is brutal, there's nothing to track quests so you'll most likely miss most of them and get the bad ending. They have updated it so there's more map markers now so it's not as bad. Only other complaints are the 60fps cap and online servers ****.
Graphics 9.9/10 - RT reflections and frame generation make this one of the best looking games I've ever played, just wish there was RT shadows as well. Gameplay 9/10 - Really fun combat but having to do specific side quests to level up your gear ****. Story 7/10 - The stuff with Dr Oc and Mr Negative is good but when the game forces you to play as Miles or MJ or do those dumb hacking games that's usually where I'd turn the game off. Overall 8/10 very fun combat, looks amazing with some annoying levels sprinkled in.
Story- 10/10 Like if Fight Club and Matrix had a baby Gameplay-10/10 Many unique playstyles, every playthrough will be vastly different but tons of fun Graphics-10/10 if you can play on a high end PC So why 9/10? 1) Bugs. They have fixed a lot of issues since launch but you will experience at least 100 bugs in 1 playthrough. At least its minor bugs and not game breaking.
2)The opening tutorial of this game is 6 hours where you have to do certain missions and can't explore. Hurts the replay value. They added a feature where you can skip to the DLC but if you do, you're severely under-leveled.
Somehow the graphics seem worse than Arkham City. Batman has all the same gadgets as Arkham City which doesn't make sense lore-wise but I understand why they did it. The newly added shock gloves are OP and a lot of fun but the game doesn't add enough to the combat to even feel like a different game. The story is a really good coming of age tale for batman. The boss fights are really good but I found some were way too easy.
The batmobile is fun but it is overused, the puzzles I don't mind but the tank battles become tedious, especially when it replaces a boss battle. The combat is peak Arkham and the graphics are amazing. The story does a great job of ending the Arkham series but the twist is predictable
Classic. Although combat isn't as fleshed out as future entries, this is the best map of the rocksteady games. Really feels like you're trapped in jokers funhouse. Graphics hold up surprisingly well. Really enjoyed the detective parts where you're trying to uncover what joker's doing with titan
