SAROS7
May 25, 2026
As a hardcore fan of Returnal, Saros was disappointing. The added mechanics of shield and alt-fire were excellent additions, but they drop on difficulty level was too much. I understand Returnal had a very steep learning curve (especially in the first two biomes), but they went too far on easing the journey. The game is so unbalanced that, around midgame, I was able to beat 3 biomes (including bosses) in the first try within a single cycle (and that was without exploiting modifiers). To make things worse, Sony once tried to make us swallow woke storytelling. It's there, subtly. Always the same boring/recurring script that empowers the females while demonizing the male characters. That narrative works once or a couple of times, but this has now become an annoying pattern of Sony games.

Ghost of Yotei7

Gameplay is outstanding, and so are visuals and soundtrack. That said, the story is a steaming pile of garbage. The same old revenge story with an annoying protagonist and regularly inserted feminist speech just for the sake of it. Every single man in the story is represented as either a villain or dumb person (like Jubei). Inevitably, men die and women thrive on this game. Nothing against female protagonist, as long as the story is solid — clearly not the case here. Aside from that, Atsu revenge is erratic. She hesitates a lot, picks dumb decisions and is easily influenced by strangers who she just met. Not to mention the fact that she goes out of character several times and picks the dumbest decisions ever. This could be a masterpiece, but ends up being a solid game with terrible writing.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 18
Feb 21, 2025
Though the first episode was slightly predictable and the first hours are slow, I enjoyed the character development and art direction. There are a few moments when the atmosphere is disturbing, with competent tension building without relying on cheap jump scares. Some dialogues are cheesy, but that's reasonable as the main characters are teenage girls. People are reporting bugs and lip sync problems, but I didn't notice anything that serious. Quite frankly, that first episode is better than I expected. Looking forward to playing the final tape.

Forspoken4
Jan 9, 2025
The only good thing about this game is the parkour mechanics. I actually enjoyed running around opening chests. That said, everything else is medíocre or excruciatingly bad. Though the skill tree is interesting, the gameplay falls flat with a mix of dodging and smashing buttons. Playing on harder difficulties just turn the enemies on sponges. Battles take longer, but are not really harder AI-wise. The technical aspects (graphics/sound) are OK at most. It's not much better than a good PS4 game. And, finally, the story and character design. That is by far the worst asset of Forspoken. Frey is the pinnacle of the woke culture: self-centered, arrogant, annoying and Just won't shut up. The villains are bland, the only relevant male character is crippled and dialogues are poorly written. Tons of cringe dialogues. At least there IS an option to reduce the dialogues between Frey and Cuff to the bare minimum (if you are concerned with your mental health, USE IT). Forspoken is what happens when you ruin a potentially good story with woke culture and forgets to create a fun game in the process. It's just a terribly generic game with an abominable story and protagonist. At least it's now on PSN catalogue. You might find it mildly entertaining if you just skip all the story and focus on the parkour thing.

Interesting plot, killed by bad writing and TERRIBLE acting. At least it's a short game and you can skip previously watched scenes, so the experience becomes less atrocious. If it's on sale with a 75% **** for it.

I was willing to give this game a higher score (at least an 8 or 9) because it is genuinely fun and creative. But then, I got stuck with the same game breaking bug two times and had to reload older saves (thankfully I had them). Unfortunately, I'm now stuck on chapter 9 and unable to proceed at all. There are multplie reports of this on the Internet and no sign of patch. People are just having to play the entire game all over again. Seriously, this alone ruined the experience.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard9

Lazy writing, poor dialoguea, puzzles tailored to people with cognitive problems, repetitive gameplay. If the woke crap was the only problem, the game would be worth a 7/10. But it's much worse. This time EA is not to blame, Bioware digged its own grave

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth6
May 13, 2024
Gameplay is neat and polished, soundtrack is superb, graphics are satisfactory, minigames are excessive but passable. What drags this game down is the story, though. It is awkward, poorly developed, full of questionable decisions and lazy clichés. Yes, it is that bad. Borderline offensive, given how they were close to perfection on FF7 Remake (except for the stupid idea of the whispers, that set the foundation for this disaster named FF7 Rebirth)

So, I had read the synopsis and thought it could be interesting because of the Persona elements (turn-based, gray zones, dialogues decisions that matter etc). I could not be more wrong. Basically, the woke tone ruined half of the game. Nothing against it if done right, but this is not the case here. Unlikable and overly arrogant protagonist, cheesy dialogues, it's just pure doctrination. The other half was already ruined by itself. The turn-based battles are dull and slow (dialogues during it make this ever worse), the art design is uninspired and awkward, and the game has performance problems. Nothing there is salvageable. Stay away from this stinky **** garbage.

Eternights6
Sep 25, 2023
I appreciate the fact that this game was (mostly) done by a single person that had never made a game before, and I hope he keeps going with other projects. From that perspective, this game is quite an achievement. That said, I have to state that Eternights has flaws and whoever tries it should be aware of them: 1. The storytelling is poor, and character development is quite underwhelming. That's disappointing as the game marketed itself as a dating sim inspired in Persona, but the cast is dull. Aside from some clever parts here and there, the dialogues are cheesy and rushed. 2. Lack of music and sound effects for the most part, that harms the immersion. Can't really complain about the simple graphics as this is a low budget game. At least on that, it delivers. 3. The battle system is not responsive, the dodge and parries are quite erratic and after a while it becomes boring and repetitive. This is, by far, the biggest flaw of the game. The game was sold at a pretty fair price as well, I don't regret having purchased it. But I would be lying if I said I had fun playing Eternights. It's vanilla for the most part.

Sea of Stars7
Sep 10, 2023
Definitely overhyped. The gameplay and exploration are decent, but the progression is sloppy, rendering even the good mechanics boring and repetitive over time. The soundtrack is good, but nothing really memorable. Same goes for the graphics and technical aspects. It's a pleasant but not amazing experience on this regard. The story, however... it is a pile of trash. Poorly written, shallow protagonists/villains and close to non-existant character development. A few funny dialogues here and there, but those were unfortunately rare exceptions rather than the rule. Though I support games like these being released (especially) by small teams. it didn't justify the hype received. The first hours were a blast, but it felt like doing chores not long after that. Comparing Sea of Stars with Chrono Trigger is completely exaggerated. Whoever says that is being fooled by their own nostalgia.

Soul Hackers 27
May 6, 2023
I wasn't expecting another Persona (although the trailer vibe resembles it) but rather something new derived from SMT. as the first game is very obscure and didn't age well. In the end, indeed it ia different but not in a brilliant way. The plot and characters are just average, the gameplay and battle system are too shallow and the few dungeons are boring, dull and uninspired. Never thought this game would deliver something like SMT5 or P5, but Soul Hackers 2 is a decent but passable experience.

Knack5
Jan 2, 2023
Not technically impressive. Not fun to play. Not even fun to watch the history, characters are dull and boring. Knack fails even on being bad enough to be remembered even if it is to be bashed. If it tried to be a disaster, it failed there as well. It's just a lifeless, forgettable and mediocre game that few people would know to exist if it was not developed by Sony itself

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition0
Dec 30, 2022
Just a nextgen patch released with a huge delay. People may say it is free, but in reality they have removed the discounts so this patch is just a bait to fool new people towards the CDPR crap. The history is phenomenal, but the gameplay remains weak and the bugs are still there in massive amounts. Never before have I seen the mainstream media evaluate a patch as it was a new relaase. Misleading marketing for a company that's trying to fool the audience once more. Don't fall to that. Don't forget the Cyberpunk 2077 scam.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion8
Dec 30, 2022
That's how a remaster should ne handled. It's still the same game, but much more fluid. The price tag may be too much for some people. It could indeed cost a bit less considering it's a game designed for a portable system. For me it was well worth it, not spectacular but fun enough to keep me entertained for a week or so (I went for platinum trophy). Campaign only takes much less time.

God of War: Ragnarok7
Nov 29, 2022
The gameplay and technical aspects are superb and nearly perfect. The real downfall is the story: it is awkwardly bad. Not only are the arcs underdeveloped, but the dialogues are also cheesy and annoying. In an attempy to deliver strong emotions, Santa Monica came up with a cringey story, full of loopholes and boring moments. It doesn't feel like GoW, but rather a miserable attempt to mimic Naughty Dog.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+7
Oct 24, 2022
Pretty decent game. Despite the lack of uniqueness and depth, the gameplay is fun, solid and some characters were fairly well-developed. I've seen people comparing Tokyo Xanadu with Persona but they're not that alike. This game will definitiely not going to touch thorny themes, it's a light experience overall.

Valkyrie Elysium6
Oct 1, 2022
Not terrible, but very underwhelming. The battle system is solid apart from two problems: the animation locks that does not make tha game stand among other hack'n'slash games, and the unbalanced einherjar that makes the combat become utterly easy even on Hard difficulty. The good things end there: everything else in the game looks generic and half baked, the story being particularly weak with underdeveloped characters and bad facial animation. Won't lie, I enjoyed the **** a whole, but that was it. Unless you're a fan of the franchise and set the bar low, just wait for a **** ignore this game altogether.

PowerWash Simulator9
Sep 29, 2022
Ok, it's not an ambitious game. It has a clever but simple campaign lore. Graphics are good but not jaw-dropping. The game pace is slow and there isn't much to do other than the obvious deep cleaning stuff. I.E. there's not really anything that I could present as a measurable criteria to explain why I liked it.l That said, it is an EXTREMELY SATISFYING experience. For a while, it became my favorite game to chill after a rough day at work, so relaxing that in a couple of occasions I was about to fall sleep on the couches with the controller in my hands. Not saying that in a bad way, I actually enjoyed every second of it. Will buy it for sure once it is released for Playstation as well (played on Gamepass). Those devs deserve it.

Persona 5 Strikers7
Sep 29, 2022
It's a fairly competent Musou, but not so competent to the point of overcoming the problem that pretty much every other musou game has: it gets repetitive eventually. What annoyed me the most was it being a direct sequel to P5 rather than a spin-off only. The story is just too underdeveloped when compared to the original game. At least they didn't mess with the design style, still superb as its predecessor.

Boyfriend Dungeon4
Sep 29, 2022
Boyfriend Dungeon fails on so many things that it's hard to decide where to start. As a dungeon crawler, it's dull and repetitive. It's not a roguelike, nor a roguelite. Just an easy and standard dungeon crawler. As a dating sim, it's limited and awkward at times. The stereotypes presented were poor to say the least. Only two characters were likeable, and even those are not remarkable. The story is a mess and the technical aspects (music and graphics) are only "acceptable". At least it's a short game, so I could go through it entirely without wasting a lot of time. Seriously, other studios have done much better on products that target the LGBTQ+ audience. As a game, it fails miserably. It's like a duck that can fly, walk and swim but doesn't do any of those things well.

Elden Ring7
Sep 29, 2022
Played it at release on PS5, got the Platinum in one month or so (playing slowly and steadily), but writing my thoughts just now. Elden Ring is a very good game, but not the masterpiece that the mainstream media made it look like. First, the lore. It's the same poor storytelling inherited from the Souls franchise, with very few NPCs and lore based on item descriptions. While this was never a problem with Dark Souls, this time they marketed a lot that partnership with GRRM, so I was expecting the best of the two worlds, and it never happened. It felt like a waste of potential. As an open world game, From did a soiid job but it did not set the bar higher in the genre. In fact, there are quite a few bugs that don't break the gameplay but harm the immersion. On that aspect (immersion), the first 10 hours or so are a huge WOW, but as the ending approaches the experience is already getting dull, with many bosses and sub-bosses repeating themselves needlessly. The final boss, by the way, was the most anti-climax enemy I've seen in a long time. The endgame is weak, there's little reason to go for the NG+. I actually enjoyed the experience overall, but I'd be lying if I said that I'll remember it for a long time. When the credits started rollling I was like "so, that was it?". Let's be fair: it's a must play, but still inferior to Sekiro. My problem with Elden Ring is not what it is, but what it could have been.
