I absolutely love Knives Out and Glass Onion, so when I heard they were making a third movie, I was hyped beyond belief! Especially because the movie was incorporating religious themes which I thought was really cool! But then the movie came out and I watched it, and it was not good. I don’t know exactly what it was, I didn’t really like the new characters that much. I thought the priest guy who works with Benoit Blanc was somewhat endearing but everyone else I wanted to die in a ditch. Now, everyone in Knives Out and Glass Onion was a terrible person too. But in a funny and comical way! The people in this movie were just terrible people, nothing funny about it. Also, Benoit Blanc takes a WHOLE 40 MINUTES to actually show up and start solving the mystery. Even then, he doesn’t get much time to actually shine and be his Benoit Blanc self. He definitely felt overshadowed by the priest guy and like it was more his movie than Benoit Blanc’s. Also, this movie is just not funny. I liked Knives Out and Glass Onion so much because they had comedy to balance out the more serious parts but in this one there is no comedy. Only seriousness. To make matters even more insulting, the actual twists themselves were lackluster. I mean, the alpha male influencer guy being the guy that got murdered’s son? Do you know how weird that sounds? The scene of the guy who got murdered, talking about how much he jorks it or whatever, also weird. The only thing I will give this movie credit for is how well they executed Benoit Blanc being a non-believer even though everyone else is highly religious and made it sound realistic and not like he was were trying to offend them. He highly respects them and their religion. He himself just simply doesn’t believe it. Aside from that though, If you like Knives Out and Glass Onion for the comedy and clever twists, then I highly recommend you DO NOT watch this movie and instead wait for the inevitable Knives Out 4 to come out.

This movie IS WEIRD. In a good way. My mother and I were laughing through the whole thing(which isn’t saying a lot because it’s only 40 minutes long) lmao

It’s not a cinematic masterpiece or anything, but it’s the Mario Movie! Is it supposed to be? All I’ll say is that this movie is fun for the whole family! From little Timmy to Grandma!
