Spider-Man: Far from Home

I’d say it was a tiny improvement over Homecoming. This movie perfectly explains how to make Spiderman a boring character. We don’t see his wants or needs as a character. Spider-Man needed to get over the death of Tony. But the film didn’t explore that enough. There's no sense of urgency to push the movie's plot forward. As the epilogue of the spectacular Avengers Endgame, the movie itself was a step away.

Do not listen to the critics! I repeat DO NOT LISTEN TO THE CRITICS Tom Hardy was great as both Eddie Brock and in Venom form. I definitely felt like Venom and felt like the old school 90's Lethal Protector comics, but of course without Spider-Man which I think is a good thing. The back and forth between Eddie and the symbiote was outstanding.

"Into the Spider-Verse" is a ridiculous title, and the movie itself is ridiculous in the best possible way. It's also full of heart, and understands what makes Spider-Man not only a great character, but such an important one, no matter who wears the mask. I also think the animations are visually stunning.

This movie felt like watching a little kid play superheroes with their friend’s toys. This movie felt like seeing a beautiful car with no working engine. I enjoyed Tom Holland’s portrayal of Spiderman. However his Spidey Sense, his wit, his cunning, the side characters, the real Peter Parker personality, etc. its missing the points to what made me like Spiderman in the first place.

The movie went through a famously wasteful shooting and editing process wherein numerous major plot threads were dropped or altered for various reasons, the end product becoming inconsistent and unsatisfying.

The Amazing Spider-Man is more of an excuse for Sony to keep the rights to the character than an actual movie. It’s only a remake of Raimi’s Spiderman trilogy. We had already seen the origin story done as well as it could be. There was no reason to do it all over again.

Too many villains, too many pale plot strands, too many romantic misunderstandings, too many conversations, too many street crowds looking high into the air and shouting “oooh!” I do admire Sam Raimi’s ambition for this movie, but it felt a bit uneven at the end.

"Spider-Man 2" remains one of my favorite superhero movies of all time. It improves on everything the first movie did so well, as any great sequel should. Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus is an all-time great villain performance, as well. The train scene between Spiderman and Doc Ock is my favorite action scene.

Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "Spider-Man" told the simple origin of a popular superhero, and focused on how that would affect the character and his loved ones in a contained storyline. There were no spin-offs and no shared universe. That feels like something from a bygone era, which makes it all the more special now.

I feel bad for the legendary NBA player Shaquile to be casted in a **** like this. It's like watching a "funny Tik Tok Compilation." People who laughs at the jokes are half-witted idiots. I'm just mad that I could've spent better time doing something else.

Jesus Christ, 67% score on the Metacritic Critic section. Are these critics pumping out their weed or something? Do they even notice the monotone dialogue, no Mushu, absent story elements, terrible camera work, another Episode 9 Rey/Captain Marvel protagonist, no depth, overused CGI, rushed pacing, and laughable choreography with the fight scenes?

This is what I define the perfect Star Wars movie and the perfect movie. This movie renovates the Sci-Fi genre. It's got epic space battles and interesting villains. I wish I can give this an 11/10.

This film marks a dramatic, weighty shift in tone with a chilling atmosphere, unexpected after the relatively happy-go-lucky feel-good vibes of the first film. In the service of this the sets and creatures are dramatically improved, and the personal stakes set forth for all the characters build to a defining moment if dramatic tension in Star Wars history: that of the fateful duel between Luke and Vader.

Disney promised that this was going to be a redemption from the Prequels, but all this movie did was be on par with the Prequels. It's a movie that rehashes the entire Original Trilogy, and copied plot of A New Hope. Even when this movie was meant to cater to fans of the Original films and a newer generation, they deserve better.

This movie isn’t that bad. Except for the marketing, director swap, and rushed production that interrupted the movie. Other than that, it’s got a unique Wild West Heist vibe. Plus, the third act is most unique in the saga while other movies are just space battles or lightsaber duels. The Kessel Run, the Vandor Train Heist, Chewbacca meeting Han, and Lando’s outfits are the kind of moments we need. If you can get pass L337, then this movie is a fun adventure.

A satisfying threequel to end the Originals with many charming moments. It may not carry the same charm as Episodes 4 & 5, but this is one heck of a spectacular finale. Especially the third act, as it is one of the best of the Star Wars saga. There were negatives here and there, but there wasn’t enough of them to call this movie flawed.

It has a lot of certain elements that I found enjoyable. It epic lightsaber duels, space battles, and the acting was on point even from Hayden. However, the forced directions about the Fall of the Jedi Order and Anakin's transformation to Darth Vader really ruined the movie for me. Plus it carries the same reputation as the first 2 Prequels with its clunky dialogue and confusing plot.

It was an improvement of the boring Force Awakens. It has beautiful cinematography, iconic lightsaber duels, and deep thematic messages. While at the same time: it kills off Admiral Ackbar the worst way possible, lacks common sense when it comes to those Space Chases, brings Space Mary Poppins Leia, Admiral Holdo is stupid, Canto Bight sequence was a borefest, too many subvert expectations things, timing of the jokes were odd, takes Episode 7 story somewhere else, too much plot holes, Porgs used to sell merchandise, Rey hasn't gotten a nerf, and Hyperspace Ramming was a real ruined Star Wars for me moment.

By war film, I mean something gritty. Something filled with rebel soldiers, spies, and hardware. With X-wings, Death Troopers, Imperial Walkers, untold Rebel Troopers, no Jedi Knights, British talking Imperials, and the Death Star. And something where people we learn to love die. That’s a Star Wars movie!
