The Acolyte: 1 Episode #1.58
Jun 26, 2024
Easily the best episode so far, by a WIDE margin. Combat was wonderfully story-boarded and well choreographed. Twists weren't some shocking revelation, but definitely an interesting development. Excited to see where this goes.

The Acolyte5

Decent episode. Not as strong as the first two, but still intriguing. It tries and mostly succeeds at expanding Star Wars lore, and while it works it does come off a bit out-of-touch with previously established lore. Lastly, the Child-actors were not great either, some scenes were a bit tough to watch.

This show is a glorified ad-campaign for Kraft and his HoF ambitions and does nothing but try and diminish Bill Belichick's role in The Patriots repeated success. It's a shame, but not surprising at all that Kraft would stoop this low.

It was so good until the last episode. I REALLY liked it, but honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone outside of MCU completionists.

Star Wars: Ahsoka9

Peak Star Wars. If you truly enjoy Star Wars and don't spend your time sitting alone in your basement, seething in your internet echo-chamber about the sequel trilogy, and actually love great characters, great storytelling, and fantastic action in an enchanting and bizarre fantasy world, you will love this show. A MUST watch for any Star Wars fan, especially if you're a fan of the prequels and cartoons LucasFilm has produced over the years.

One of the best projects Marvel Studios has produced. A fantastic love-letter to classic horror but also a great starting point for some wonderful Marvel characters.

The Wheel of Time: Season 20
Sep 13, 2023
Yeah, not much changed since the first season. My review is the same and that review is "this show is not a good show." Grab the books and/or listen to the audiobooks, I promise even the worst parts of the book are leagues better than the best parts of the show.

The Wheel of Time: Season 11

Acting is sometimes there, set quality and costuming is there, story is absolutely never there. It's a random fantasy show with Wheel Of Time character names and a semi-reminiscent/distant-cousin type of WoT paint job. It's not a good show and it's an even worse adaptation. The ONLY plus out of this show has been Rosamund Pike's new recordings of the books.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: Season 19

Honestly do not know how anyone could watch this show and NOT enjoy it. It’s charming, funny as hell, clever, and has an incredible amount of Easter eggs for the fans. It also seems to be ingraining itself pretty deep in the overall MCU lore, and building towards future events. It’s crazy to me the amount of bad reviews it’s getting, though it’s very apparent the bad reviewers don’t really understand they’re watching a comedic, sitcom style show set in the MCU. But alas, it doesn’t have Punisher or Deadpool or wasn’t directed by Snyder so they hate it and deem it the worst show ever made. Luckily, this show is SO self-aware it pokes fun at these bros almost every episode and it’s fantastic. All-in-all, I highly recommend this show to any MCU fan, it’s one of the better shows they’ve produced in the last few years and you will certainly enjoy it.

House of the Dragon: Season 110
Sep 22, 2022
The good writing of Westeros is back and I am fully invested. While it’s hard to ignore the massive fumble of Game Of Thrones in the later seasons, this show shines on its own. Incredible cast, incredible actors, the writing, cgi, world building, setting and tone are all incredible and very familiar to the feeling the first few seasons of Thrones invoked.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 19

I am loving this show so far. As a cinematic universe based off Tolkiens writings it has the look, feel, and charm of the movies that have come before it. As someone with bookshelves stocked with fantasy prose from wall to wall, I think the writing is great, the world building is wonderful, and the characters and cast are fantastic. Everything feels thought-out, natural and lively. If the season keeps up as good as the first half then this review will remain a 9/10.
