Guys it’s a good game, just not earth shaking. I usually only play solo & right now I’m halfway through, not one single achievement has popped, which is sadly a design flaw in my opinion. Most of the goodies are for co-op, which ****. I invested hundreds of hours in Left 4 Dead solo & still bring it out on occasion. I don’t see myself doing this for B4B unless solo campaign gets more love and attention from the developers. I have had some fun with it though it has glitches like my fellow bots shaking uncontrollably. But, I want this to be a 10 and to love it. I hope solo campaign gets some much needed love soon! If it does, I’ll be happy to change my score…

7.3 user score? Only 1 review (that I see for Xbox One)?? This is a great DLC! I got it for free too! Gearbox didn't have to make this, but they did. Kudos to them. Loot midgets, tubbies & chubbies, great new weapons, bosses & quests... and more... classic Borderlands stuff and should be celebrated. I hope they provide as much DLC for BL3 as they did for BL2. That would be sweet... great job Gearbox!

I preorded this and have been playing since day one. The 1st week my rating would’ve been 6 due to frame drops, freezing, crashing and I just didn’t like the newer visuals, but, I loved the gamelplay. Cut to November 18th 2019, the technical issues are mostly gone, my eyes have adjusted to the visuals which are beautiful and the gameplay and loot keep me coming back almost daily. The Bloody Harvest event has been a blast. I’ve hit leve 50 with FL4K. The 25th time I killed Captain Haunt (when I completed the Captain Haunt challenge) he dropped 4 legendaries for me- in one drop! I’ve never seen that. Complaints are small, like the frame rate still drops here and there. I REALLY wish ALL shift codes would stick around longer. At the end of October “life happened” for me and I wasn’t watching for Borderlands news for a couple weeks. I discovered I missed a number of shift codes, including the Halloween heads. RANDY – please make a way for those who missed on the Halloween heads shift code to get those heads. I’d love to be running around the game with them. Surprise us and make this happen. Other than that, love the game and despite a few flaws, it deserves a 10 in my humble opinion. Thanks Gearbox for a great game!

I pre-ordered Shadow of the Tomb Raider Croft Steelbook Edition and picked it up a few days before the release date of 9/14/18. I enjoyed it for about a week, then lost interest completely. It seemed like too much to do, it overwhelmed me, and it felt like a chore to collect everything in sight. Almost everything had an X to pick it up. The map was cluttered with soooo many collectibles and places to explore. Plus, it seemed like this game was 99% puzzles and exploration and very little combat. I needed something simple, scary and fun (with Halloween approaching) so I started playing Doom, some RE games and so on. A few days before Christmas I reluctantly decided to give SOTTR another shot, after all, I paid over $100 for it. Wow… I’m glad I did because what seemed like a chore and “too much” before turned into a massively fun and exciting game. The abundance of exploration and stuff to collect became fun and challenging. I liked the new mechanics and story. Today is 1/17/19 and I’m at 92%, and I’ve played it a lot since Christmas so that’s how much content there is. Not to mention all the DLC (extra tombs) that I keep getting due to having the season pass. Story-wise I’m at the point of no return that leads you to the final ending. I avoid finishing the story until I get everything else that I can possibly get. My only big gripe are the outfits. There are many of them, maybe too many. Some give advantages, and some are just cosmetic without advantages. There’s a lot of reading involved to know what is what. It reminded me of the clothing perks in BioShock infinite. A lot of mixing and matching. There are 2 outfits that require a lot of jaguar fur and while I have fought a few jaguars in the story, I don’t have nearly enough jaguar fur to craft the remaining 2 outfits. I have searched for respawning jaguars in the open world but none respawn. This includes the areas marked on the map with the jaguar symbols indicating they should respawn, but thus far they haven’t. If these 2 outfits keep me from obtaining 100% like I achieved in the 1st 2 games, that will ****. But I’ll keep the faith that a couple of jag’s will respawn at some point, so I can finish up the outfits. A small gripe is the lack of combat, but it picks up as you keep playing. I’d like to see a little more of it though, since there is a lot of upgrading weapons and such. Do I recommend buying this game? Yes! Just hang in there and keep playing. I hope it wins many people over like it eventually did for me. There’s a ton of content and I’m having a blast! 9 out of 10…

I want to put my 2 cents in. I can't give the game a score because I haven't played it, nor do I ever intend to. I own EVERY Call of Duty game ever made I think and I put so many hours into each of them, except for BO4. In all of them, I primarily played the single player campaigns (SPC) then invested a good amount of time into Zombies. I love Zombies through Black Ops 2 then they started getting too convoluted and complicated, but I still played them through WW2 and had some fun, though I prefer to play them on older games. To me, here's the deal... I never got into multiplayer. I'm an older guy and have always enjoyed the adventure **** SPC. This is true of COD, Halo, Doom, Bioshock 2, Dead Space 2, Gears of War, etc... and many more. Each of these had single player campaigns with multiplayer. For people who only play for the multiplayer, hats off to you and I hope you enjoy it! BUT... in COD, is the single player campaign a staple of the series? Of course, considering every major COD until BO4 had one, and I would play the heck out of them. 1st play through just for fun. 2nd to hit the achievements. Then I'd revisit them from time to time. I still play the World at War story at times, along with COD 2 and 3. People hated Infinity War's story mode, but I thought it was fantastic! Polished, fun, cool story... Same with Ghosts. Sadly, COD lost my money this year by thinking players like me don't exist in big enough numbers. Maybe they’re right based on their pointing out the low percentage of people who pick up the achievement to simply complete the campaign. I’ve not looked at every multiplayer achievement and I may be wrong, but the ones that I looked at for higher ranks in multiplayer have very low percentages as well, again at least the multiplayer achievements I’ve seen. I didn’t see anything with a real high percentage. So I wonder, why axe the SPC?? My last thought is, if they want to axe it, why waste a Black Ops game by axing it? Black Ops had the BEST campaigns in the series! Give it another name or something! Sadly, who knows if I’ll ever see another Black Ops campaign… I hope some of the other series like the ones I listed earlier don’t follow suit. These are my thoughts, hopes and disappointments. BO4 gets a zero score for a zero desire to play it now. Shame

Doom 3 BFG Edition is a great game that I just finished playing in October 2018. In the middle of ROE at the moment and enjoying it. Graphics for the environments and lighting are amazing! Like walking through a haunted house attraction, it's fun to revisit now and then. The enemies look better from a distance but I can appreciate the work that went into them with the technology available at the time. It's in my top 10 games list and I'd recommend it to anyone. Just have fun with it... The biggest lesson I learned was to remember to SAVE and SAVE OFTEN! Don't rely on the checkpoint saves because they are few and far between. You can lose a whole lotta progress if you you suddenly die and hadn't recently saved. I had to re-fight a boss battle or 2 even because of this. But it's ok, I had it figured out by play-through #2 all those years ago.

I play COD games for the new story in each new release. I enjoy them like movies. I have my favorites and like to replay them again now and then. BO2 is definitely one of my favorites. Fun, entertaining, smooth as silk, exciting story with characters carried over from the 1st BO... I remember pre-ordering it then playing the heck out of it. Zombies weren't as good as in BO, it started getting too convoluted for my taste, but I had fun with some of it. I type this review because this is a great game and the campaign is a big reason for it! I'm amazingly disappointed that BO4 will not have a campaign. SOOOO disappointed, that I will not be buying it. The COD campaign is 90% of why I buy COD games. Zombies are 9% and multiplayer 1%. I like the adventures... Bring back the campaign and I'll start buying COD again. And why pick a Black Ops game to stop the campaigns?? BO games had the best stories... again, disappointed. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I hope COD brings back campaigns going forward. Until then, COD will not be getting my money... BUT.... BO2 does and did rock! High score from me...

My 1st RE game was 5, which I had so much fun playing. I was told I should try 4 if I liked 5, so I did. 4 was as amazing as 5. So I was very excited when I started hearing about 6. I pre-paid for it, picked it up at midnight on the release date and proceeded to play the heck out of it since that day (today being 8/10/2018). For RE 6, I initially played the 4 campaigns, put it away for 5 months, played them all again, put it away for 10 months, put it away for a year and now I get in the RE mood once a year and actually play 4, 5 and 6 almost back to back, usually in the fall. I’ll be playing them again soon I’m sure. Since this is a review for 6 then here goes: The keyword is FUN! I have FUN with all of them (4-6 – never played 1-3). To me, they all have spooky atmospheres, but none are really scary. I’m ok with that, I’ll take spooky atmosphere. The only game level that ever scared me was the 1st Condemned game, at the start of Bart’s Department store. It was late night when I entered Bart’s level, and I had to turn it off and try during the day. Cool spooky atmosphere is a fun environment to play in, which RE: 4-6 have a lot of. 6 was the least “cluncky” of them all, it was very smooth compared to the other games. I thought “cool” when I could shoot and move at the same time. If you don’t like RE: 6, then ok, but it’s because of that hate that I had to be disappointed with RE: 7’s 1st person perspective. I liked RE: 7, it was also fun, but I miss the gameplay of 4, 5 and 6. 6 was fun and no one can take that from me. It’s a shame I’ll probably never get another 3rd person RE numbered game. Having said that, RE: Revelations 2 has been fun to play as well, it’s as close as I’ll get to RE: 4-6, though Evil Within is filling that void as well. RE: 6 gets a 9 from me. None of them are quite 10’s, but darn near close. Just little things lower the score a bit, but I won’t focus on the negative, these are great games and I hope we see more of these types of games in the future. The style of 7 is fine, I’ll buy them in the future and play them I'm sure, but I’d love to see more of the 4-6 classic formula revisited from time to time, even if it’s between the main RE numbered titles, like the Revelation series. BUT… 6 is a darn good game… to me…

Loved the game(s)! Alot of content, better visuals and experience all around. I played it after the patches so I didn't see alot of the early bugs. I'm still playing it in June 2018... which says alot. Ready for Borderlands 3... And a remaster to the original Borderlands. That would be epic! If that isn't happening, I wish they would make that known, because if not, I'll go ahead and play Borderlands 1 via XBOX ONE backwards compatibility. Waiting for clarification one way or the other.... Still, best games out there!

OK Randy Pitchford, 1st off, take your time on Borderlands 3. Whatever time it takes to make it great, take that time. Just release it before I die please. Now, regarding Borderlands, great game, worthy of a 10. BL2 is better. I gave this one a 10, so what the heck do I score BL2?? Regardless, my only issue with the 1st Borderlands has nothing to do with the game itself. Thanks for making Borderlands backwards compatible for XBOX ONE. Problem is, I don't want to play it yet because I hear Borderlands may be released as a Remaster soon. If that's the case, I'd rather wait and play it when the remaster comes out. But if the remaster is far off OR isn't going to happen, I wish you would clarify that so I can go ahead and play it as XBOX ONE backwards compatible. I'm waiting for some hint or clue to determine when and how I play Borderlands 1 again. I hope this is clarified soon because I'm itching to play it! Here's hoping for clarification in the near future. But, love me some Borderlands! Oh and please make Aliens Colonial Marines and Duke Nukem Forever XBOX ONE backwards compatible soon, sign those forms to make it happen good sir... Thank you

Really great game! The single player campaign is fantastic, but I'm giving it a 9 because it's too short. I finished it way too quick and wanted more. What happened to the days of 8 to 12 hour campaigns? But... what is there is as good as anything I've played. Loads of fun... I enjoyed the multiplayer as well, but I buy for the single player campaigns... No campaign, no money from me, which is why I didn't buy the 1st one, so thanks for including it this time around. I go back to Black Ops zombie maps from time to time, I don't see myself revisiting COD: WW2 zombies in the future. Also World at War has this game beat, but still, I like this game too, just not as much... Keep trying Activision.

The last review I posted here was for Dead Space 3. I gave it a 10 because, while yes it had faults, I enjoyed the heck out it and isn't that what it's about? For the same reasons, I give Evil Within 2 a 10. I literally spent over 40 hours in 1 play though, going through every nook and cranny to uncover secrets, craft materials and more. There were moments with the "Anima" ghost lady that literally scared me, whether in a tight, small room or out in the open streets. Loved the monsters and found the story intriguing. I really hope this game sold well and they will make Evil Within 3. I'd pre-order it for sure! Love this series... Keep 'em coming!

Dead Space 3 is a special game for me. It was released on my birthday 2/5 and I took off work just to play it until my then girlfriend (now wife) got off work to go celebrate. I loved everything about the 1st 2 games, and this one didn't disappoint. My only gripe is the save system. Only 5 save slots and a new checkpoint system. I missed the old save stations. But! That's ok because the game was and is so insanely fun! It's a long game, yea not as scary as the 1st game but I was ok with that. Isaac is the best leading man in gaming. Ellie is smart and cool and they have good chemistry. One of the best looking games on 360. Fun yet intense story and crisp smooth gameplay mechanics. I love it and have played many times. I'd rather see a yearly Dead Space game than Call of Duty. It's fun single and co-op, never a dull moment. Here's hoping for #4!
