Overall a good game that suffers slightly from too much similarity with the first chapter. The setting of Rapture is certainly suggestive but it is an almost perfect replica of what we saw in the first chapter. Gameplay almost identical to the previous one but slightly dull on some mechanics (automatic eve reload, weapon and plasmid selection). Overall a good FPS with a story, albeit interesting and fascinating, which has too many similarities with the first chapter (also on how to get the different good, bad and undecided endings). The slightly lower rating than in the previous chapter is because it does not present great innovations. Gameplay: 7/10 History: 7/10 Setting: 9/10 Graphics: 7/10 (no substantial difference compared to the previous chapter) Overall: 7/10

Excellent FPS (especially for the years in which it was released). The setting is truly fascinating. History, although not very original, very exciting especially in the last 2-3 hours. Rapture is certainly one of the most recognizable and original settings in the history of video games. Gameplay: 7/10 (not aged very well) Story: 8/10 Setting: 10/10 Duration: 10-15h

Short game but pleasant overall that allows you to spend 5-6 hours in a very "light" way in terms of gameplay but committed in terms of "ethical" implications. The game looks like a normal "guided" detective game but then after the first few episodes its ethical and social implications emerge. I particularly enjoyed chapters 3-4. At times it may seem a bit too driven and even if there is a sense of "freedom" in the investigative choices, the ending remains quite scripted on 2-3 different choices. Overall recommended. Game-play: 8/10 (some AI problems in stealth part) Graphics: 10/10 History: 10/10 Good game-play, stunning graphics (also considering that it was released on PS3) and great history. It is not the perfect game of course (the AI is not perfect in some part of the game) but the characters and the atmosphere of future pandemic world are very interesting. Also the attention to details is incredible. Surely the best video-game I ever played.
