An absolutely incredible horror movie. Elizabeth Moss is a fantastic lead and is truly outstanding in her portrayal of a woman slowly driven mad. Leigh Whannell kept me on the edge of my seat in terror and suspense until the end.

Why. Why. Why. I constantly found myself asking why this movie exists and why I chose to watch it. Bland acting with a so-so premise that made me laugh at moments that deserved tension and fear. I love Blumhouse but this was a mistake and a half. Don't waste your time.

Another amazing movie from Bong Joon Ho with a fantastic metaphorical story. Even on the surface, Snowpiercer is fun, dark, and interesting from start to finish. A well-executed premise with both Chris Evans and Boon Jong Ho delivering some of their greatest work.

The best murder mystery movie in a long time. I can confidently say that Knives Out is Rian Johnson's greatest work as a screenwriter and director. Seeing this with as big a crowd as can possibly be managed only makes it better. Shocks, twists, turns and laughs aplenty as Chris Evans and Daniel Craig stand out among a stellar cast. Can't wait for the sequel.

An excellent movie with an excellent cast and director. This movie is great from beginning to end and delights the whole way through. I strongly recommend this movie both to fans of Wes Anderson and those unfamiliar or wary of his work because of the brilliant execution. Funny, smart, and well-paced.

On one hand, this movie is fun and enjoyable and if it had been the original it's possible I would feel better about it. On the other hand, this movie is a terrible sequel to the first and tries too hard to establish and solve mysteries with little effect. There's no real feeling of stakes or sacrifice like in the first movie and while the animation is incredible I wish the script and plot had the same amount of time put into them.

If not the greatest horror movie of all time, definitely top 5. John Carpenter does an amazing job and this movie has hardly aged a day. The practical effects may not be believable but they are grotesque and extensive enough to still delight and horrify. The movie is well-paced and thrilling throughout with one of the best endings ever. I cannot highly recommend this movie enough to horror fans.

Stupid, mindless fun. Emphasis on stupid. Double emphasis on fun. Ewan McGregor and Margot Robbie bring their all to this movie and their characters. Action scenes are so much fun and feature many long cuts so that you can actually see what's happening. Bright, colorful, and humorous for the most part, this movie greatly exceeded my expectations and while I am not waiting anxiously for a sequel this movie is better than it's being given credit for.

Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination but one that leaves you satisfied. Jim Carrey acts exactly how you would expect him to and it really works for the most part. Action scenes are well-shot and exciting but nothing new. Overall, I would recommend this movie to Jim Carrey fans and people looking for a fun action-adventure that requires minimal thought process for a couple of hours. Definitely a good family movie.

This MIB reboot is a perfectly average summer blockbuster. Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth work well together but there is a certain longing for the old days with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Despite all this movie does well, it is still fairly boring and feels unnecessary. There are fun moments but on the whole, it does not quite feel like a Men in Black movie.

Toy Story 4 is an immensely fun movie that caps off the series in a perfect way. The detail in the animation is incredible and it feels like a labor of love from Pixar in a way the other two sequels did not. A must see for even the most casual fans. I laughed, cried, smiled, and loved basically every minute of it despite expecting a so-so sequel.

This movie is boring at its best and hard to watch at its worst. There is only one kinda fun action scene in the third act but it quickly becomes boring again. There's no feeling of real stakes and I blame the villains because, despite all the exposition thrown at the audience, their plan is not well explained and you are given little sense of how powerful they are or how scared you should be. Character motivations are slim or nonexistent and the cast seems entirely checked out. Overall, I cannot recommend strongly enough that you go see something else. Dark Phoenix is not the worst X-men movie but its definitely bottom 3 and should be avoided at all costs.

This movie is only what you make of it. It's a fun summer action flick so you won't be blown away by the story or character development, it's all pretty surface level. BUT, this is not a bad thing, the movie still excites and amazes with big climactic battle sequences which is all I wanted and expected. Godzilla delivers on its promise of monster fights in a fun way and I recommend this movie, I had a blast with it.

A fun movie even for non-Pokemon fans. This movie is highly entertaining if not the best-written masterpiece. As someone who is aware of Pokemon and can recognize a fair few of them, this movie was still far better than I expected it to be. Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith work better together than I would've thought and the movie held my attention to the end with a fun plot and some good jokes. Overall, a very good movie.

This movie is average at best. That being said, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. The Upside is an inspiring tale that suffers from melodrama and a slow script. The cast is passable and Kevin Hart does a decent job stepping into a more serious role. Overall, the movie is far from great and not rewatchable but if you're bored on a Sunday afternoon and desperate for something to watch, The Upside is satisfying and enjoyable enough.

The best movie in the John Wick series to date. I have not had this much fun with an action movie in a long time. While the other two were good, this movie blows them out of the water with the most creative and by far entertaining action set pieces that could not possibly leave anyone bored. However, the movie kind of overstays its welcome and drags on in certain scenes while also feeling a little repetitive in its narrative. But like I said, best John Wick to date and those minor nitpicks are a small price to pay for such a fun and mostly engaging movie. I strongly recommend this movie even if you are not the biggest John Wick fan.

The movie that started a revolution. There's nothing more to say except that Joss Whedon nails the ensemble cast and brings together the characters many fans know and love. Whatever connection one has to the MCU or comics, this movie is sure to delight with fun action, engaging team dynamics, and a compelling villain. Everything one could ask for from a fun superhero action adventure.

This live-action remake does a perfectly serviceable job in retracing the source material just like all other Disney remakes have done before it. However, while the new cast does a fairly good job, minus the watered-down Jafar, this movie fails to capture all the magic of the original and leaves you wanting more. Will Smith portrays a fantastic Genie but his performance is hindered by the fact that its a slightly less interesting retread of Robin William's amazing original take on the character.

Avengers: Endgame is the most satisfying conclusion possible to 11 years of built anticipation. The movie contains a fantastic balance between classic Marvel humor while making the entire audience aware of the stakes and the gravity of the situation. References to previous MCU entries are constant and emotional moments are present throughout. I cannot recommend this movie highly enough.
