Frozen II is funny, exciting, sad, romantic, and silly. It has great songs and a hilarious recap of the first movie, and then it is all of that all over again.

If Frozen was about coming to terms with who you are, Frozen II is about transformation. Does it offer further evidence for those who saw "Let It Go" as Elsa’s covert coming-out anthem? Sadly not, though she remains an intriguingly elliptical canvas on which to project genuinely groundbreaking ideas about empowerment and identity.

On the level with the first chapter. I like the music and PLOT. I wait for chapter 3.

Stunning Visuals, Wonderful Songs, Hilarious and EmotionalThis. This was the sequel I was HOPING for. I was in tears of every variety for the majority of the film. The animation was flawless, the songs were abundant and wonderful (nothing quite as earwormy as Let It Go, though) and the laughter was **** character growth was also a treat. I didn't expect that, especially from a character like **** the negative reviews I see complain about it either being too dark or all over the place. It was neither. Sure, it had some darkness to it, but so does life, and like most moments in life, their is a shining bright light waiting on the other side, even if it's not the ending I would have **** to those saying it was all over the place? It wasn't, if you bothered to pay attention. But most of you are adults who write off every animated feature as children's fare and don't really care to pay attention. And that is because you've lost the child inside. You've forgotten how to feel joy and excitement and embrace it like you did as a child. You confuse your contentedness with your children's happiness with actual joy and live vicariously through them than embracing what's inside of you and living your own happiness yourself. And for that, I pity you all..

With so much going on, it’s easy to overlook that the most profound and moving relationship in either film is the bond between Elsa and Anna. It’s the most human and least-calculated thing in “Frozen” or Frozen II. Their love is the ultimate special effect. Ice is nice. But sisterhood is what’s really powerful.

In a world where old-timers accuse the youth of being oversensitive snowflakes, Frozen II shows what it means to have one’s heart in the right place.

It adds up to a marginally more interesting experience than the first “Frozen,” but this sequel would have benefited from venturing a touch further into the unknown.

Still — and with the full knowledge of committing an atrocious pun — the whole thing left me cold, partly because there’s no actual villain and thus very little concrete drama.

It plays like an animated musical built around forgettable tunes and impressive animated effects that were cooked up before the script was decided on.

With Frozen II, I had a strange feeling almost from the start. Not because it’s badly made — quite the opposite — but because it never seems fully sure about who it’s talking to. This time, it moves away from the direct, emotional simplicity of the original and leans into something more serious, more convoluted, and ultimately more distant. When it ended, my honest reaction was a quiet “thank goodness,” which isn’t something you usually feel after a Disney film.Visually, it’s undeniable. The animation is stunning, easily among the studio’s best. The level of detail, the use of color, and the elements — water, fire, wind — are breathtaking. The problem is that the film often feels like it relies too heavily on this technical brilliance to compensate for a story that struggles to move forward in a clear, organic **** script aims higher, tackling themes like legacy, guilt, and the weight of the past. The intention is admirable, but the execution feels uneven. Too many ideas are introduced without fully landing, and several key moments are explained rather than felt. You can sense the effort to avoid repeating the first film, but that effort also distances this sequel from what originally worked so **** songs are solid and carefully crafted, yet they lack the emotional punch of the original. They do their job, but few truly linger. In a musical, that absence is more noticeable than it might seem.Secondary characters get more screen time and occasionally carry the film, but even then, the emotional connection never fully clicks. Elsa remains the symbolic core, though her arc feels more abstract than heartfelt. Anna, surprisingly, carries much of the narrative weight, but the film never fully commits to that shift.Frozen II isn’t a failure, but it is a colder, heavier sequel with less magic. Ambitious, yes — but also uneven. Beautiful to look at, harder to love.

I can't believe I used to like this movie 'cause WOW it does not hold up on rewatch. It's boring, juvenile, thinks its smarter and deeper than it actually is, and completely butchers the characters from the OG, which I love by the way. I guess it's well animated and has some good music and a few nice moments, but for the most part, it's a mess. And not a good or fun one.

Yeesh, this film is... weird. You know, I actually quite liked the first film. It was cute and kinda charming. Not this one though. The story is very messy and forgettable and in my opinion badly written. Most of the new characters were forgettable and bland in my opinion. Also the whole five spirits thing was just.. weird. If they make a third one (which I wouldn't be surprised if they will, it's **** Disney we're talking about here) I hope it will be better thn this, tho I very much doubt it.
