Samba de Amigo ver. 20008
Jun 19, 2024
The version 2000 is an improved version over the original Samba de Amigo from 1999. It is still as fun as its original version, but with some enhanments. A great Dreamcast maracas game. You'll have lots of fun with this one.

Grand Theft Auto 27
Jun 19, 2024
A great Dreamcast port of the Playstation game. It has some enhancments over the PS1 version that make me prefer this version over Sony's one, but both are great. As opposed to the PS version, there is only a night mode, which in mi opinion, makes the ambientation greater. It is simple, not as good as the sequels to this by any means, but is still a good, nostalgic game.

Crazy Taxi (1999)9
Jun 19, 2024
Crazy Taxi was (and still is) one of the best and craziest racing arcade experience. It is tons of fun. The added modes over the original arcade mode are also fine, so you are not limited anymore to the 5 minute limit. It is one of the most beloved Dreamcast games, and I think everyone should play it, wheter on a Dreamcast or not, if they have the chance.

Dreamcast Collection5
Jun 19, 2024
What happens when you grab good games and put them together in a disc with almost no additions and crappy menus? Well, this is the result. The games are fun, as they have always been. The real problem here is the lack of any effort. So many things could have been added to compliment the gameplay, or tweaks could have been made possible, but no, there is not any of that. If you want to play these games on Xbox 360, then I would recommend you to play it from the Xbox 360 arcade instead, you would not lose anything new.

Sega Genesis Classics7
Jun 19, 2024
This Genesis/Mega Drive collection for the next generation (after Genesis Ultimate Collection) is fine, though dissapointing. It includes 51 different games, which is more than Ultimate Collection brought, but it also loses some great games than the last collection featured and this does not (like Sonic 3, Ecco the Dolphin or Vectorman). The rewind feature, together with the mirror mode and other tweaks are nice additions, but there is nothing too exciting that makes you excited to buy this game if you already had other Genesis collections. In conclusion, this game is fine, though dissapointing. If you have already a Genesis collection on your shelf then you can skip this one. However, if you don't have any collection and you want to play the classics on modern consoles, then this is a good choice.

Jet Set Radio (2000)10
Jun 19, 2024
Jet Set Radio is one of the best games on the Dreamcast. The story, music and gameplay compliment each other strongly. The gamefeel in general is awesome. The art style is so unique and looks wonderful. It is truly a great game, recommended to everyone.

Sega GT9
Jun 19, 2024
Sega GT is a good racing game, and a proper rival to Playstation's Gran Turismo, although they had way different sales. It is dynamic, has good graphics and good controls. There is also a lot of variety of races and modes. Great game, could be better though. Recommended to play if you have a Dreamcast.

Phantasy Star Online8

Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast is a great game with stunning visuals, great gameplay and inmersive story. The customisation of the characters is also very good. Great way to show what online gaming was to the world.

Sonic Shuffle8
Jun 18, 2024
Sonic Shuffle is the attepmt from Sega to make their own "Mario Party" but with Sonic. The gameplay is similar to Mario Party, but it has the tweaks of the cards. Graphics are not that great, and the game is not perfect by any means. However, it still is fun to play with friends, and you will surely have a great time playing this game. Is it as good as Mario Party? No. Is it a fun experience to play with friends? Yes. To summarize, this isn't a must have game experience, but if you like party games and you have a Dreamcast, I recommend you to buy it. You will have some laughs, that's for sure.

ChuChu Rocket!9
Jun 18, 2024
Chu Chu Rocket on the Dreamcast is a fun, simple game.
It is not anything unusual, just a little party/puzzle game, but it is very enjoyable when playing with friends. If you have a Dreamcast, I recommend you to try it, it's a fun game and I won't cost you much.

Spirit of Speed 19374
Jun 18, 2024
Spirit of Speed 1937 tries to make a game based on the good old racing years of the 1930's, but it fails terribly.
The graphics are mostly not bad for a Dreamcast game, there are some circuits, details and cars which are set on 1937, which, at first sight, seems good and inmersive. However, once you start playing you realize two things:
The game's controls are bad.
The gameplay is boring.
It is as simple as that, the game is not fun, and therefore not enjoyable. If you'd like to play racing games on the Dreamcast, I would recommend you to play Daytona USA, Sega GT or Vanishing Point instead of this game.

Sonic Origins Plus6
Jun 18, 2024
Sonic Origins wasn't the best Sonic collection we could get, and the Plus expansion still isn't. Of course, having the possibility to play enhanced version of the classic Sonic games + 12 Game Gear titles is great, but it is the way they are brought what backs me off. With this addition being made, i ask myself many questions: Why not to add the Master System versions (which have least screen crunch)? Why not to add the Mega Drive versions of those titles (in the case of Sonic Spinball and Mean Bean Machine)? Why not to add other Mega Drive games like 3D Blast? Why not to add extra modes/tweaks that make it worth it to buy this collection? Why not to add tittle like Sonic CD or Chaotix? Unfortunetly, this questions have no other answer that the will of Sega to obtain the biggest possible amount of money (as they have delisted the classic trilogy from Steam) with the least effort posible. It pains me a lot, really, because this could have been a great collection if Sega would have wanted to. I can understand why the Sonic 3 music had to be changed , I can understand that no more games were added, but I cannot understand why Sega made this vague, uncomplete collection. To sum up, this is not a great game, and I wish that some day we can truly have a good, complete Sonic Collection. Until then, I'll stick with Mega Collection Plus.

Sonic Superstars8
Jun 18, 2024
Although not perfect, Sonic Superstars is a great, fun game that has great vissuals and great gameplay. The CO-OP is not polished at all, but it can still be enjoyable. Like Frontiers, for the 2D Sonic games, this is a good step in the right path. I would recommend you to give it a try, you will surely have a fun time, and if you play with friends, better.

Virtua Tennis 210
Jun 18, 2024
Virtua Tennis 2 is a massive improvement over the original, and in my opinion, the best game on the franchise.
It is tons of fun, pleasent to the eye, and with great game modes and various players to play with.
For sure, one of the best Dreamcast games, which I firmly recommend you to play if you still have a DC.

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future9
Jun 18, 2024
Ecco: Defender of the Future is a great tittle, and a good way to bring the beloved dolphin from the Mega Drive (Genesis in America) into 3D. The gameplay is enjoyable, though you may be a bit lost sometimes. When you are like that, I reccommend you to communicate with other dolphins for clues, there is much things to explore in the vast ocean. The story, as all Ecco games prior to this, is great, engaging and deep.
The sound is great too, really inmersing. Long story short, the game, although not perfect, is great, and I keep wishing that Sentinels of the Universewould not have get scrapped. If you have a Dreamcast and the money to buy it, play this game, you won't regret it.

Vanishing Point10
Jun 18, 2024
Vanishing Point is great, underrated game, and one of the best racing games you can find on the Dreamcast. It is fun to play, the graphics are good and the controls, which is the most important thing in a racing game, are good. There is also a lot of tracks, unlockable content and cars, so you surely won't get easily bored.
The difficulty is a bit high up, but once you get used to the gameplay, the game is quite enjoyable. In conclusion, Vanishing Point is a great racing game on where you can't find many bad things. If you have a Dreamcast, you should totally get it.

Sonic Adventure 210
Jun 18, 2024
Sonic Adventure 2 is a great improvement over its predecessor. Better gameplay, better graphics, better story...
Gameplaywise, the game is great. You can play two stories with 2 teams. Team Dark and Team Hero.
Rouge and Shadow team up with Eggman it the Dark story, while Sonic, Knuckles, Tails & occasonally Amy form the hero.
The story is flawless, well, almost. It has its argument flaws, but its one of the greatest stories ever made in a Sonic game.
The new characters, Shadow and Rouge, are also good. However, you can see how they devolpment went: I personally dont like their personality in SA2. Nevertheless, in future games they did get good personalities (mostly).
The music is also incredible. It is one of the best soundtracks ever made for a Sonic game, if not the best. The gameplay is not completely flawless though. You can still find camera issues (like in SA1), bad sound mixing in cutscenes and some glitches trough the game, but the good things, in my opinion at least, easily cover that issues. There is also an improved version of the Chao Garden in this game. It is unbelievably fun to raise your chaos in these. The chao system and animations are greatly improved in this game too. Overall, Sonic Adventure 2 is a great experience, and a proper goodbye to the Dreamcast. If you still have your Dreamcast, I would strongly recommend you to play this game, if you have a copy or the money to buy one of the few ones, of course.

Sonic Adventure9
Jun 18, 2024
Sonic Adventure is a great way to bring Sonic into the three dimensions. The game is fun, enjoyable and overall one of the greatest Sonic games ever **** gameplay is very good. It has great level desing mostly, fun speed sections and great graphics. Of course, it has its flaws like, for example, the camera, but the gameplay is **** sound is also one of the main pros. It has great music on almost every stage and hub world (if not **** yes, hub worlds. These are well disigned places where you can explore and enter stages, as well as finding secrets. They are one of the key points of the so called "Adventure **** story is also great, although not perfect. You can play with 6 different characters, who follow the same story. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles stages are mostly great and fun. However, Amy's, Big's and Gamma's story are not that enjoyable to me. Sure, they are enjoyable in some parts, but comparing them to the other gameplay styles, those are not so great. Overall, Adventure is a great game which made an incredible first true 3D exprience on the Sonic franchise.

Sega WorldWide Soccer 2000 Euro Edition10
Jun 18, 2024
The graphics are better in this edition of the game, the sound is as flawless as in the first edition and the extra Europe teams is a nice addition, which encourages replayability. This game is a fun experience, and a greatly improved version over the original Worldwide Soccer 2000. Of course, it still has some flaws as the original had but, in my opinion, the improvements made in this version are worth enough to compensate them. The Euro Edition for Sega Worlwide Soccer 2000 may not be perfect, but it's the best way to play soccer/football on your Dreamcast. Overall, it is a great way to end the sega and to pay tribute to the Dreamcast. If you have a Sega Dreamcast, I would recommend you to play it.

Sega Worldwide Soccer 20008
Jun 18, 2024
Sega Worldwide Soccer 2000 for the Dreamcast is a good game with some flaws. Players don´t look very good, but graphics are fine for a Dreamcast game, not fantastic though. The gameplay is a bit difficult to understand, but once you get used to it, it is actually very fun! Personally, I greatly enjoyed playing this game on my Dreamcast, though I prefer the Euro Edition. Great game overall.
