Grand Theft Auto 2

One of the most controversial games for the Playstation has created a bigger, better, badder, and more f***ed up sequel.

Bangin' drum and bass kicks out of the stolen sports cars super woofers as you prowl the streets for criminal action. Climb behind the furry wheel of a pick-up truck and it's good ole' hillbilly rock. This game knows how to use music and it shows it big time.

Compared to its special effects pushing brother on the PC, Grand Theft Auto 2 on the PlayStation looks rather tame.

It's twisted fun for a while, but then it starts to get old.

Carefully crafted, big and sprawling and, more to the point, fun and exciting, GTA2 retains the best qualities of its predecessors, and its new gang warfare element improves upon and expands upon the original idea, giving the gameplay a little more depth.

A fun, irreverent romp and a great way to blow off some steam after a hard days work... [but p]layers expecting something radically different from the first game will be disappointed.

When it comes down to it, stripping away the gameplay, all GTA2 brings to the table is foul language, gratuitous violence, and aging 2D graphics. Once my bloodlust was quenched, GTA became a monotonous and painfully shallow game.

Amazing game, My personal favorite of the top down GTA games. Still great to play to this day. Highly recommended to anyone that owns a Playstation , Dreamcast or PC.

My Review – Grand Theft Auto 2 – 7/10 I gave Grand Theft Auto 2 a 7 out of 10 because, while it builds on the original game’s open-world chaos and freedom, it doesn’t quite feel as groundbreaking as the first one. The top-down view and gameplay are still fun, and it’s enjoyable to cause chaos and complete missions, but the world feels a bit more repetitive, and the missions don’t vary enough to keep things fresh for long. The controls are slightly improved, but it still has that clunky feel compared to modern games, and the story isn’t very engaging. Despite that, there’s still a lot of fun to be had experimenting with the game’s systems and exploring its quirky world. This is why Grand Theft Auto 2 is a 7 out of 10.

The game is like an improved version of the first part. I was a little confused by how Claude appears in GTA 2 and 3, but that's not the point. The game is similar to the first part but with a few new additions and that's it.

Bastante mejor en relación a la primera entrega, aún así, sigue siendo un juego con malos controles y pésima cámara.
