Really complicated to get multiplayer working on a GBA, with all the need for hardware and the cable disconnecting and yet weirdly, I really loved the multiplayer in this game, crushing the AIs most of the time, but still providing a decent challenge. I think I should really go back to the singleplayer puzzles one day, with my adult mind. I liked them but I don't think I quite finished them. I wasn't too dumb so I suppose the challenge didn't quite pike my interest but looking back, I think it's still the puzzle game I appreciated the most.

So ingenious, yet simple in its execution that it would have succeeded on almost any platform. In spite of a few flaws, it is damn near a match made in heaven.

The biggest hurdle for players to get over is simply the gameplay itself. Chu Chu Rocket isn't very forgiving, as players are basically dropped in the middle of the game and left to fend for themselves

Unfortunately, the game is let down slightly by a rather annoying control problem – by only having one button to lay down arrows, you need to keep pressing it repeatedly to switch direction.
