Such games get destroyed by hype. I'm not the biggest Roguelike fan, but still played through Returnal and Elden Ring. I expected a 10/10 masterpiece but sadly was underwhelmed. It is a fun indie game. The combat is good and very addictive at first. But after 4-5 hours it already gets really boring and repetitive. You basically are grinding through the same 5 levels over and over again for upgrades. Some shortcuts like in Returnal would've helped a lot. I really started to hate Tartarus and Asphodel and it felt like a chore to get through it. The story was ok. The characters are very well made and voice acting is good too

The game is just perfect. The gameplay is smooth, all characters, zombies and especially the buildings are done so well. The game is really polished and has one of the best graphics on the base PS5. Playing as Grace is more focused on classic survival horror and stealthwhile Leon is doing more direct combat with different weapons. It all feels so smooth. I played through the game while exploring in only 15 hours but there is good replayability. The highest difficulty is very hard but there are a lot of small surprises and changes that make the game unpredictable at times. Well done Capcom.

The good: I like the characters, world and artistic features. The story was also pretty interesting. It's nice to see a game that tries something new. The bad. The combat system is so cheaply made. They even tried to implement some wannabe soulslike elements, but it doesn't work well at all because of the bad combat. Some sections like the asylum are extremely boring and tiring. Bosses are badly made annoying damage sponges. If you're not a Suda51 Glazer, wait for a sale.

I never played the original, so I can’t comment on any of the cut content. I had a great time playing Kiwami 3. The story is very interesting, and all the character models are well made. The two combat styles are fun and bring variety to encounters. Next time, it would be nice to have one more combat style or deeper combo options to keep encounters fresh. I liked all the mini-games and side content, especially the orphanage and biker gang activities. After some time, it started to feel a bit grindy, but still enjoyable. The side stories are mixed. A few were very interesting, while others were pretty forgettable. If you like the Yakuza/LAD gameplay loop and combat, you’ll certainly like this game.

The combat is so much fun. It's very interesting how the gameplay can change with all the different weapons and parts (especially legs). Some fights were really challenging, and some shockingly easy, like the very last boss of one ending that I beat first try and I was struggling with all bosses before him. Fromsoft are the masters of gameplay and atmosphere, but sadly also masters of frustration and bad writing. Could have been another 10/10 with a better and longer story. I was also ready and excited for NG+ but with some tideous escort missions that aren't fun at all, I instantly lost motivation. I'd rather die 50 times to the same bos

Sadly I was already bored after 2 hours. Because of the hype I had really high expectations. The first hour I got really hooked. In the 2nd hour I've already seen everything and was just trying to get to the last room. I was multiple times 1 room away to end the game. But then I had the feeling the game always put up a room, that was there to end your run on purpose. All runs felt the same after a short amount of time. The game barely has puzzles and it's all about planning your way through the rooms and to guess what could come next. I totally don't understand the super high ratings from the journalists. I think all just jumped on the bandwagon.

I was positively surprised by Dead Island 2. It reminded me a lot of Dying Light, just without parcour. The graphics and world are so well done, detailed and not too big. I liked the weapon upgrades and fun combat system. The gore physics are the best I've ever seen. It's really fun and satisfying to slice through zombie hords. The story is a bit weak but still fun sometimes with exaggerated american stereotypical characters. Some side quests are fun too, but nothing too memorable. They really have to work on the story and motivation to keep players engaged for the next title. Also the weapons are cool, but it would be fun to have more variety. It's just perfect if you want something simple to shut your brain off for a few hours.

The combat is done very well and addicting in the first few hours. Biomes look cool and they really motivate the exploration to get better weapons and buffs. Overall the game is very polished with fast loading times and good use of the Dualsense. I like the vibes and atmosphere, it's done very good. The mistery behind everything is interesting but story is almost non existent. I'm in a love hate relationship with the roguelike aspect on this one. You can lose hours of progress to a small error or by not knowing a new enemy. But that's what makes combat more tense and interesting. I finished act 2 in 8 hours. To really end the game, you need to search fragments in biomes and poppies in the tower. This is so dumb and almost impossible to find out without guides. Really such a cheap way to make you replay everything again to get a 2 minute cutscene. It's really not bad, but just get ready to lose everything and getting almost no progress after every run (except weapon perks and some small gear updates, but nothing big). At least they implemented online coop and a save function so you can turn off your PS5 (although only once) in the middle of a run and there are also also leaderbords on the tower.

I love platinum games but maybe this game should've stayed on the Wii U. The quick time events are all fun. But omg the controls (especially with the right stick), camera, movement and platforming are soooo bad. I don't really mind the quirky heroes and dumb story. Just why didn't they polish more the controls... Drawing the quirks really gets annoying after a while and the combat gets super repetitive with zero depth.

First time ever playing a Ninja Gaiden game and damn, it's so much fun. The fighting, combos and movement are really good and the finishing animations so satisfying. There are plenty of cool mechanics and a good variety of enemies. The game on normal mode is challenging but very fair, so good for first timers. I love the design of all the characters, enemies and locations. The characters lack a bit of depth and the story is just ok, but it still had its own charm and memorable moments. I somehow liked the relaxing ending and credits a lot. I went through the story in around 15 hours. It's a bit short but at least it has a few replayability options and the price was slightly lower than other AAA games (something like 65€). Sadly loading times are annoying and bad for todays standards. With a better story and longer playtime this series could be a 10/10.

The multiplayer is fine, it's fun for a few hours and I'm glad they didn't go the overstimulating skin COD road. But it's just another classic Battlefield shooter. Maps are ok, gunplay and weapons are ok. It's all good but nothing new or really innovative and I'm disappointed that we didn't get cool maps like Metro in BF4. The campaign is mid. It feels like a free to play game for 80 $/€. If you really want the game then get it on PC. If you don't have a very good aim you won't hit anything on controller because the aim assist is very weak.

Objectively the game is good and an evolution in gameplay and exploration. I like that instead of stances you have different weapons now (love the Odachi) which make the fights dynamic. It just feels even more sadisfacting to slice people up than GoT. The exploration is done so well, a lot of standard tasks are mostly done with variety and there are so many random and fun encounters. The graphics and scenery are also one of the strongest points. It's not realistic, but it looks like a dream that is too good to be true. Overall the gameplay-loop is so addicting with all the mentioned things combined. The main and side stories are good too, but I liked the invasion of the mongols and moral decisions of Jin a lot more. Sadly the armors are mid (especially hats and masks are ugly) and those from GoT look much better to me, but luckily there are still a few good ones. I just don't understand why all Playstation studios need to get a female lead (except Insomniac). Could easily have been a 10/10 with better story, protagonists and cosmetics.

The freedom of approach is great! Overall it's also polished and there were zero bugs. Storywise also interesting but the end was mid. There's a huge arsenal of weapons and tools to develop. The only negatives are that there were a few of the worst designed and annoying missions/checkpoints I've ever seen in my life and a third of the game are recycled missions. It was almost perfect but still better than a lot of games coming out nowadays.

Hitman 3 (with World of Assasination) is such a cool game. There are many ways to kill your target and I think if we would look at all the player approaches of certain areas, all would be different. You can start your way as a beginner like me in easy difficulty until you understand the basics and then move up. Replayability is also big because there are a lot of ways to eliminate targets and to compete with the times of your friends.

Cool game with a very unique amtosphere. The enemies are well done and all the sounds of the world or other actions are great. Graphics and performance are good, although there is stuttering sometimes. Price is fair for the playtime and content, I completed the game in under 17 hours and did a few side activities. Combat and enemy variety was fine for the lenght of the game, but still gets old pretty fast. At least the Haze enemies are a bit more challenging. The story was interesting in the beginning but it was very short and the ending was rushed with too many open questions left. The big minus point for me is the annoying backtracking. If you don't write everything up that you read in riddles, you will see yourself running around through the map nonstop. The thing is that a lot of informations you read on walls etc. sometimes isn't relevant to the riddles and mostly boring but you sometimes don't know if you will need it and which details you need to memorize. The encounters with habitants of Hadea are interesting sometimes, but in the end most of them also end up in backtracking and running around for mostly boring side informations.

I played MGS for the very first time. The stealthy gameplay is very fun and I noticed that we really need more of that genre in gaming. Graphics were also nice and the story was so cool. I still think about the intro music a few days after completing the game. The story has it's quirky moments that sometimes take out the seriousness, but in a good way. People complained about the graphics but I played in performance mode on a base PS5 and had zero issues and zero crashes. The playtime is short with 15 hours but there is a lot of replayability with playthroughs you can attempt with new or old controls, no kill runs or different difficulties. I'm really sad to see a lot of hate because the game is appearently too similar to the original. But when FF 7 remake made something new people complained that it was too different from the original so there will always be somebody who will hate for some reason or Tik Tok brains who can't handle a 10 minute cutscene.

It's a typical remaster with no real improvements. The 2 only positive things were the original story and the visuals with 60/120 fps. Otherwhise nothing. The AI of your teammates is the worst I've ever seen. Over 50% of the game they are useless or stand in the way and die after 10 seconds. There were a lot of bugs with enemies getting stuck on walls or behind objects. To proceed you had to go find them and walk all over the map to trigger the hidden bugged enemy. Shooting is very inconsistent, especially with the sniper. The sound is also weird. You barely hear the cutscenes but when it goes back to the gameplay it's like 10x louder. Multiplayer maybe was ok for 20 years ago but for now I don't know. The only useful weapon there is the shotgun. I didn't expect a remake but still, zero improvements besides visuals. Just buy the game if you're really interested and never played the original.

It really isn't that bad as people say. The world is beautiful, combat is fine and exploration isn't always the usual exhausting overloaded Ubisoft map. The friendship between Kay and Nix is sweet and there are nice planets to explore incl. space ship battles, but the story is only ok. You really feel like in a Star Wars movie with the original soundtrack of music and other environments. Stealth is fine but nothing revolutionary like Splinter Cell in the old days. I was surprised, that a few bigger side missions didn't get repetitive that fast, so there is a lttile variety there. Unfortunately they missed an immense potential of creating an open world "GTA Star Wars" and still recycled a bit of the Ubisoft open world formula. There is only one weapon with 3 shooting modes. You can pick up enemies weapons but after the ammo is out you throw it away. The only 2 vehicles that you can drive are your own speeder bike and space ship. It would have been so much fun to just take other speeders or classic SW vehicles like Luke's Landspeeder or some imperial tanks or an AT-AT. I know the game is focused on stealth, but it would have been much better if you just could choose what to do yourself because combat is very inconsistent. Sometimes you can easily take out 5 enemies with almost no damage. And sometimes 1 enemy takes you out in a matter of seconds. At least you can shoot from your speeder now. A few bugs and crashes are still there, not a lot but usually in the worst moments you can imagine. As a SW fan I'm sure that you'll have fun and I would give the game a general 6/10. At least it's one of the better Ubisoft titles of the last 5 years.

It was my first Soulslike ever. For Fromsoft veterans maybe everything is good and on the bright side. I have mixed feelings and I start with the positive. Most of the bosses are epic and well designed. They look so cool and if you manage to beat them, especially after they seemed impossible in the begginning, it feels like a big achievement. That feeling of accomplishement isn't in any other game. Although the graphics aren't totally next gen, the world is still nice and there is such a special gloomy atmosphere. Castles and other buildings are beautiful. There are a lot of items, consumables etc. (which isn't my favourite thing) but all those items aren't always needed to progress in the game and you don't have a limit to carry them with you, so it's fine and through that there's good variety of weapons. I'm a little disappointed of the exploration. Over 80% of times when I ran into a dungeon or something interesting, it wasn't worth the effort (except the runes, but you get those anyways if you're killing monsters). Can't rate the story because there is none, but I liked the few nice boss sequences. You have to get used to the controls but after 4-5 hours it's ok. The worst thing is the auto lock. So many times it just switches off and with bigger enemies like dragons or giants (in particular two main bosses) it's absolute chaos. Sometimes you are forced to grind to progress and there is no skill issue, I was underleveled for almost every boss fight which I won and there is only a level issue in this game. In this case you could call any game a soulslike, selecting the hardest difficulty, and just leveling up so that you don't get one shottet by enemies. Main and side quests are not clear, boring and there is no quest log. Just one of those things could have made life a lot easier. Overall it's cool and the challenge is so exciting. They have a few of the best bosses ever in video gaming. On the other hand the game has a few problems as mentioned that are totally overlooked by Fromsoft fans.

Don't buy it. It is actually fun, I will give them that. But omg, the game is still buggy, over a year and it crashes at least once or twice per game session. Sometimes you can reconnect. But a lot of times you don't. And you know what the best part is? Zero progress is taken with you. That means if you try to do everything in a mission and nearly after 45 minutes it just crashes and all will be for nothing. Without exaggerating, I would say that I lost around 15-20% of my game hours / progress to those errors. And it's only Helldivers. All my other multiplayer games work perfectly.

There is so much weird stuff happenning that you will never see in other games. The whole world is so unique. Gameplay overall is fine, I like the stealth and the gunplay and even the running while keeping up your balance. Nothing very different from DS1 but all solid. I just don't understand, why sometimes you have to walk/drive huge distances. For example: After 20 hours where running/driving around started to get boring, I had a main quest where I just had to drive across the whole map. Why do such a boring task and waste my time? Towards the end you have to do that again. It's just not fun to walk for 30 minites or longer. The side activities were also mostly mid. Otherwhise it would have been 10/10 if the game focused more on combat, less grinding and shorter ways instead of waisting time.

The menu is sooo overcrowded and confusing, especially as a new player. Bugs were rare, but one issue caused me to fail a mission where I had to rescue an NPC. This leads sometimes to a lot of fun situations with both strangers and friends. Of course, replayability is limited once you've done every heist multiple times, and the search/loading times for heists could be a bit faster. But I still had a lot of fun for 50–60 hours.

Very overrated. The game isn't terrible, but the amount of time spent just clicking through side activities for S-links, etc., is excessive. It gets really boring, and most of the side activities are dull. The combat and fusions are cool, but nothing revolutionary for the series. I just don’t understand why they felt the need to extend the game’s length so much. Unfortunately, the whole experience is mostly just clicking through boring dialogue for 40-50 hours, with 10-15 hours of Tartarus fights.

As always a fun Yakuza game by RGG. The pirate system is fun and the story is mid and more on the quirky side but still somehos enjoyable. The pacing of the game is just right and with the side activities you always have a lot of variety in your playthrough.
