A game that was visibly made with passion. So fun to play. The characters, the story, the music, the art, everything is incredible.

Assassin's Creed Mirage7
Jul 19, 2024
I like the game being smaller in many ways. The map is much nicer to navigate than previous entries such as Valhalla or Odyssey and feels more alive. The stealth gameplay makes a return (mostly). Overall the experience was fun. The only setback for me is the story. I am not a fan of each region's different stories that culminate feedback into the main plot. It gives us no time to get to know one character properly and hence cannot get invested in or care for them.

Really strong world-building and character-building. Intriguing story. Fun turn-based gameplay. Good pacing throughout with little downtime. The artstyle is amazing.

Nothing to say. This game was perfect when it came out on the GameCube and it was made even better now.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption10

Adapted for the Wii the game feels great. Aiming with the remote feels intuitive and smooth. The great level of design and world-building is still present. The music still is amazing. Just a great game to finish this incredible trilogy.

Metroid Prime10
Feb 22, 2024
A masterpiece. This game will not hold your hand. Treats the player with intelligence. Some of the best worldbuilding and storytelling in a game. The atmosphere is incredible. And playing Samus in first person is incredible. The gameplay is smooth and handles well. Each region is well crafted. And finally, the music is on another level.

Ok so the driving feels great, and the cars look great (even though they sometimes imported old models). The customisation options are amazing and lets you play around with the car settings as much as you want to get the most out of it. The accessibility to this game is something no other racing game has ever done before. A blind person can play this game. The multiplayer is fun (more on that later). Now for some of the negatives. The career is fine but really unexciting. Just a series of races with no motivation apart from having completed them for a reward that is often not very good. The multiplayer is lacking in diversity and modes. The ranking system can often feel a bit random. And the penalty system can also feel very random. For example, you will be taking a corner, someone will drive full speed into you and you will be the one awarded with a 4s time penalty. Yes, this has happened to me numerous times. But other than that the game is fun.

Forza Horizon 57
Feb 22, 2024
This latest entry is solid but in some ways although improving on the previous game with better cars and sounds it still feels like there is less to do. The map is slightly too big and this can result in a bit of an empty feeling. The music selection is not as memorable as in previous games. It is hard to describe why this game feels off compared to the others but unfortunately, it does.

Forza Horizon 48
Feb 22, 2024
I have played this game for a very long time. Unlocked most cars, and completed every single challenge the game has to offer. I love the setting and the atmosphere and the music is well-selected. Driving feels amazing although some of the cars feel sometimes slightly similar. That is pretty much my only downside to the game. Most glitches have been patched and the game feels great on series X/S.

Tropico 67
Feb 22, 2024
The music really does make you feel like a dictator in the Caribbean. Good fun but my biggest issue with the game is the fact that pretty quickly you will have run out of new things to do. But other than that still a very fun entry in the series.

Pokemon Shield7
Feb 22, 2024
Very mixed feelings on this one. On the one hand, I like the new semi-open world that they introduced but it was not executed correctly. The art style can often feel inconsistent and the are not many new Pokemon or Pokemon in general in this game considering this was the first new mainline game on the Switch. The characters and villain all felt a bit forgettable and there is still no voice acting.

Pokemon Pearl Version9
Feb 22, 2024
This was a special time for Pokemon. The first entry on DS, the first to use 3d graphics, a new generation of Pokemon that instantly became classics and one of the most iconic final boss battles in the franchise accompanied by an equally iconic soundtrack. A memorable experience.

I have played this game numerous times throughout the years. Honestly, there is something special about it. It's simple, the pokemon are great, the gameplay is strong as usual with most Pokemon games, and the music is iconic. A timeless entry in the series.

Super Mario Sunshine10

Nothing to say on my side. Love the levels the sunny worlds and the atmosphere of this game. The music is great. But the water canon is an amazing idea and they made it into one of the most fun Mario powerups ever.

Super Mario Galaxy 210

Perfect follow-up. The only downside is the spaceship that acts like the hub is a bit less exciting than the first game but that is a nitpick. The gameplay is refined and expanded. A masterpiece.

Super Mario Galaxy10
Feb 22, 2024
Unrivalled. Truly a creative masterpiece. Whoever had the idea to send Mario to space is a genius. No comments. Any game that introduces some of the best mechanics, visuals, music, and characters in the likes of the Lumas and Rosalina deserves a 10. Played it when it came out and loved it. Played it again recently still amazing.

Planet Zoo9
Feb 22, 2024
Just like Planet Coaster I love this game and have very similar thoughts. Super easy to build stuff. Good management mechanics without ever getting too much. Animal models look great! AND THE MUSIC!!! Just like Planet Coaster, there are a lot of DLC and buying them all can get pricey. (they are not too expensive so still very accessible and what they add is usually worth it).

This game is amazing. I love it. It's a personal thing for me but I love theme parks. And letting me run and build one?? Yes, please. The music is INCREDIBLE. Creating rides and the rest of the park is super simple, managing it is detailed but never overwhelming. Super fun to watch people enjoy what you built. The only downside is the DLC which can get pretty pricey if you plan on getting all of them. But I would say it is worth it.

I played it for the first time in 2024 after years of hesitation. When I finally did I was surprised at how fun the game is from the gunplay to the story. It's a blockbuster action adventure that has you blasting through the levels without ever getting bored.

The Sims 47

The only downside is that the monetisation is a war crime other than that it could be fun?. It costs over 1000$ to get the complete experience of this game. Who thought that was ok? Let's be honest here. Either you hacked the entire thing or you just play the base game for free in which case it's so lackluster that it's trash.

The best city builder/simulation out there yet. With the added content over the years, this game has become massive. Yes, it does cost a lot to get it all. I have spent countless hours managing cities and having fun. There is so much to do you won't notice the hours flying by.

Resident Evil Village9
Jan 22, 2024
This is the game that got me into RE. I have played most games since. This game is a great gateway into the series for new players. The map (castle really) is amazing. The characters are really interesting. The level of detail found in this game is impressive. A solid entry in the series. The only thing I have to say about this game is that it may be a bit too linear but other than that still very fun.
