Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

At first, this looks like just another Counterstrike clone. But there’s more depth and variety, despite the lack of content.

Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.

This game is a bit of fun but if it showed me anything is that it's not League of Legends community that is a bunch of hateful waste of oxygen, but in fact Riot Game's general community. You can't have bad games or you are going to be called the most horrible things ever or just plain "you are trash" treatment. I play it for the same reason I play LoL - I have no sense of self love or sanity.

All cuss word combined still wont be enough for this game.
A game where ping matters the most they still havent fixed lot of issues
game would glitch lag randomly
bans unnecesarily and doesnt ban people who are actually spreading hate
fix your ai which detects cuss in chat and audio your game **** !!!

Great FPS game, and like most games, even better with friends. Gameplay is mostly what you'd expect from conventional tactical shooters like cs, except the utilities are character specific, which does make it fun to try out different characters. The game does a pretty good job at handling cheaters, although it comes at a cost of you installing kernel level software. The matchmaking/rank system is honestly good enough compared to all the other FPS I have played, and it goes without saying that you can never truly have perfect matchmaking. The devs do make you question their choices of agent nerfs/buffs occasionally, but they never leave them on the ground, even if it takes ages. Smurfing is a big issue in the game but doesn't hurt the experience too much in my opinion.

Valorant is deep, complex and it always pushes you to do your best and become a better player. It has everything to offer great and intense matches, but it also requires and level of cooperation and commitment that won’t appeal all players.

Valorant isn’t trying to appeal to everyone. It’s trying to appeal to a hyper focused slice of the hardcore shooter fanbase. If that sounds like you, you will absolutely love it.

Valorant leans heavily on its predecessors, but makes use of established schools of thought and the unique novelties of its Agents to create a fresh take on tactical shooters, even if its launch is a little slim. For years, there hasn't been a fight for Counter-Strike's throne; but in Valorant, Riot Games has found a valiant contender.

Valorant is likely to make a big impression on anybody that enjoys competitive shooters, even if it is a little light on content at the moment. Genre newcomers will need to stay patient to push past the initial difficulty curve, but its exhilarating combination of gunplay and agent abilities is accessible enough that reaping its rewards shouldn’t take too long.

Valorant doesn't stray too far from Riot Games' plethora of hero-focused titles. With the fusion of high-level gunplay and hero mechanics, Valorant is both highly competitive and unfortunately too highly skill focused for casual players to enjoy.

Valorant considers a standard match as best of thirteen rounds. Thirteen rounds! You don’t know which team is dominating in three rounds, Valorant? Because I sure do. It’s the team running rampant all over the map. Your Spike Rush mode is only slightly better at best of seven, but even that can drag. It’s all in service of the eSports focus. Anything quicker would be too fast for dramatic shows. Riot has made eSports their bread and butter, so it’s no surprise that Valorant is heavily skewed to that audience. Gone are the days of 1v1 arena fights in LAN tournaments with fullbright settings. One match. One result. One mistake and you were done. There were no upset wins or swings. You did a looping run from the railgun spawn and the keg of health and you didn’t dare deviate because it could all be over with one high-ping hit. Anyway, I’m old. Valorant has made me realize that I don’t recognize the landscape I grew up with. I’ll let the younger generation deal with Valorant’s sequel.

Best tactical shooter so far. CS2 really had a lead that they lost by not wanting to overhaul engine earlier or introduce better tickrate servers. Could it be better yes, but seems like no one has been able to for cost saving measures or otherwise.

One of the most infuriating MMR systems in all of competitve gaming, Valorant is a good time usually ruined by weird design choices. The art style is great, and the gameplay can be addicting, but one out of every three games will have you questioning your existence.

Valorant is overall a well-designed game; however, its competitive experience doesn’t fully match that level of quality. Issues such as smurfing, along with occasional launcher problems and crashes, can affect the overall experience. Over time, these factors have made it less consistent to enjoy.

I pretty much agree with the other users review. Game is laggy, a lot of bugs, if u want to rank up just play your stats so the mmr system thinks you are good and so with 50% winrate u can grind by playing 1500 games a month.
U add to this the fact that everyone is boosted bc of the five stack rank same as solo rank and u pretty much have a non sense **** lobby. i had plat 3 in asc lobby so he dont know rotate etc and u pretty much have a near torture experience. (its not isolate case is daily basis bs)
There is also the fact that when there is op **** they take like 3 mounth to nerf or balance the game and its same with bugs.
I main Astra and i have the same bug since 2022, the one when u click to put stars, the game tells u its on the ground and when u click it goes on a box next to it. I wont even talk abt the bullets going trough ppl without dealing damages.
Last year we had a 20% of voice chat off for no reason and they took like 8 to 10 month to fix it. 6 month ago ppl were abusing a bug with jett that made the whole lobby fps drop to 0. They took like 1 month and a half to fix it(the game was unplayable when u had an angry jett basically).
Bro i could **** show u my tickets to support i have like 20 bug reports in 2 years but im done with this game now and i hope will be able to play it in better conditions in the future (?)
SummaryA 5v5 character-based tactical shooter. Imagine this: tactical shooter meets hypernatural powers. Everyone’s got guns and a unique set of abilities, so how do you beat someone with the speed of wind? Use your own moves to outplay them and beat them to the shot. VALORANT is a game for bold strategists who dare to make the unexpected play,... Read More
