Lady Gaga is NOT a decent actress - she’s painfully bad. In American Horror Story she had two or three basic emotionless expressions and didn’t act much. When she does try to act in A Star is Born, it’s cringe-worthy and plain awful. How bad is it? Gaga makes Madonna look like Meryl Streep. Also, why the hype over Bradley Cooper’s directing? It’s nothing special and he isn’t believeable in his role at all — I mean, if you want to look like a drug addict, change your physicality like the great actors are willing to do. DeNiro gained weight for Raging Bull, others lost weight to look ravaged by disease or drugs in their films, but Cooper thinks he can look like a drug addict with a perfect gym body and pristine looks. Nope, I guess he was too vain to do anything other than grow his hair out or not shave for a few days. Most overhyped film of the decade.

Highly disappointed in this overrated film. It was confusing, boring at many times, very unsatisfying outcome in the end. Totally puzzled why the critics raved about this weird pretentious flick. Stupid plot and stupid movie.

So creepy and weird. Very contrived and unrealistic in so many ways, even if you try your best to suspend your disbelief. Gratuitous unnecessary nudity that is off-putting. Hard to believe that this movie won an Oscar.

Completely over-rated by the critics, because they love this pretentious, slow-paced and confusing trainwreck of a sequel. Two of the female leads have noticeable Spanish accents to their English (similar to Penelope Cruz), which is jarringly out of place. The movie is unappealing due to some of its violent and sexual scenes that are in poor taste and unnecessarily long. Not enough action, and poorly written. The disappointment in the audience was palpable after the movie ended. Ridley Scott should have directed it himself instead of Villanueva.

I was hoping for a movie that was at least half as good as Besson's "The Fifth Element", but this movie's script and story were so poorly written that no special effects could save it. The main aliens look like a total rip-off of those in Avatar, and the special effects are nothing special at all. Difficult to see where they spent the $209 million on this mess of a movie. There is no character development nor is there any believable attraction between the two main characters, who seem more like a bickering brother and sister than lovers. Rihanna can't act and it's painfully obvious here. Hard to believe that this director is th same person who made "The Fifth Element."

It was OK but not exceptional. Lily Tomlin gives an uneven and sometimes engaging performance and mixes a lot of elderly rage that is both amusing and uncomfortable watching. The emotions and storyline don't ring as authentic too many times. Gimmicky at times -- an old woman physically assaulting a young punk or a child punching an old woman. Vanity casting where Tomlin's lesbian lover is in her late twenties and she is around 70 which isn't very believable given her extremely unpleasant demeanor and wilting bitterness without any readily evident redeeming qualities. I realize that Tomlin is an icon and we are required as is tradition to take every opportunity to heap praise on her before she goes, but this movie could have been much better.

Boring story and lack of any type of interesting plot that can be identified with. Nice special effects but nothing compelling about the characters or their development. I didn't laugh once and was seriously thinking of walking out because it was tedious and uninteresting, and I had paid over $20 to see it in an iMax theater. Someone needs to tell the folks that made this movie that no matter how many millions of dollars you spend on special effects, if the story isn't a good one, then it's still a bad movie. Moreover, I'm so tired of women in lead roles in mainstream movies. They ruined the latest Star Wars that way by making a girl the lead and every ethnic minority besides Asian as the rest of the cast.

Loved Chris Pratt in this movie and I enjoyed the movie overall. However, Bryce Dallas was very annoying and unappealing in this movie. For half of the movie while she is being chased and tossed around by killer dinosaurs, her hair stays perfectly blow-dried and styled as she minces around in stiletto high heel shoes. And then by the end of the movie we're supposed to believe that's she's somehow transformed into a Sigourney Weaver type of heroine who brandishes a military gun as well as a marine? Hated her in this movie and the ten pounds of makeup and lipstick and hair spray she was coated with. It's similar to television shows or movies in which women in full makeup roll out of bed that way or go to sleep that way, when in reality it took a team of professional stylists two hours to apply all that heavy foundation, lipstick, false eyelashes, eye liner and mascara and concealer to their mugs. Would have been a better movie if a dinosaur gobbled her up in the first half hour!

I enjoyed the movie and it was well done. All the actors were appealing except Samuel L. Jackson who can't act to save his life. Can someone explain to me why they keep casting this low class ghetto embarrassment in all the big movies? He's so ugly it makes my eyes bleed every time I see his mis-shapen disgusting face. And he's supposed to be an IT genius in this movie on par with Bill Gates or Steve Jobs? Give me a break.

Completely unrealistic plot on the most base level: unappealing Mila Kunis discovers that she owns the earth and is given planetary powers. She was working as a poor maid cleaning toilets until that became known to her. After a lot of adventure and saving the earth, she decides to go back to scrubbing toilets (literally) for a living as a maid. The sci if stuff is fun, but the basic plot is ludicrously unbelievable. A similar plot would be: a maid wins a billion dollars in the powerball but decides to throw all the money away and scrub toilets for a living instead. Yeah right.

Overrated and I'm completely perplexed why the critics loved this trite piece of recycled fodder. Way too much gratuitous female nudity. Basically about an Internet mogul creating his own sentient sex doll and not much else.

Very stupid script and completely confusing time travel explanations that ruined the movie. Unnecessary forced sentimental moments that were jarringly out of place. If they would have kept the story more simple, then the special effects would have been more appreciated, but the convoluted story about alternate timelines and indecipherable time travel laws made the movie annoying. It had its moments tho, with R-nold camping it up with his trollish face and exagerrated mugging, as if he's now some kind of freak show attraction, which I guess he's always been. He's so old and wrinkled now that it almost makes your eyes hurt and bleed just looking at his craggy old German face. Makes you wonder about how clueless the people are who would approve of this completely asinine script. Who to blame? The producers, the director? Someone definitely is out of touch with what makes a satisfying and entertaining story.
