They should've just put out Blackout as a standalone DLC a la FOrtnite. Its nothing new but it is an interesting enough survival mode. People would've even paid 19.99 for it. The rest of the game is the SAME utter twitch shooting garbage that you have played OVER and OVER and OVER. They added some elements stolen from other games like just Cause and Shadow Warrior. prepared to get bodied by Aim-botting clans and try hards who play this game 24/7. Th game has completely embraces the toxic multiplayer model and abandoned Any support for solo or offline , tactical players. Even beyond that. Even if you enjoy Multiplayer FPS twitch shooters. this game still is rehashed, reskinned, derivative rubbish. The video game community awaits Red Dead Redemption 2. until then. Play this one at your own peril.

YEs, this game does deliver the Spider Man experience for the true lover of the webslnger. Yes, the game plays fun and is also a great sandbox. its full of features to unlock, some RPGish elements and having no micro transactions is huge. They could seriously have made purchasing costumes a micro transaction heaven. ITs a decent looking game. Not amazing by any means but solid. Everything about it is fun and rewarding and addicting. It must be pointed out that this is THE biggest ripoff of the Rocksteady Arkham games you will ever play. Literally, I was playing the game and couldn't stop thinking..."this is batman reskinned for Spider-Man". It has to be pointed out and it should affect the overall score. It didn't even try to break new ground in any areas of the game. Thats probably not a dealbreaker for anyone and for many its probably something that will make them like the game more. I still think it deserves to affect the overall rating of the game.

The game takes NHL 17 and adds a Threes mode as well as a Challenge mode against the CPU. Challenge mode is similar to Maddens "Gauntlet" mode. Only a lot less fun, more **** and difficult to obtain decent rewards from. Three's mode is a nice novelty that gets pretty boring after a bit. Otherwise its the EXACT same game as NHL 17. The commentary has not changed. be a pro has not changed. EASHL has not changed, etc. etc. There are some new facial likenesses added but there is still a plethora of obvious ones missing. The online components are filled with bugs, crashes and issues. NHL needs a serious revamp at this point. While Threes mode comes across as a nice refreshing addition it isn't enough to garner positive reviews for this 80% rehash of NHL 17. Ultimate team mode is a fruitless grind that is simply a pay to play mode. If you want to build a good team, you simply have to pony up the real world cash needed to do so. Madden seems to balance this aspect much better. If EA isn't willing to put the money into this game they need to either stop making it altogether or turn it over to a new studio. Its been a yearly case of Deja Vu that is getting really tiresome.

Look, the reason you see so many critics liking this game and users not liking it is because user are actually the ones who want to PLAY a GAME. This game is a 2-3 hour story **** coming of age and realizing she is a lesbian. I guess with the LGBT movement being the "in" thing right now all the critics consider this a grand, noble achievement. If that's what you're into maybe you'll love this game. It also makes some other political statements regarding homophobia. and the fear of "coming out". Beyond that, the game offers NOTHING else. They hint at something scary but never actually do anything to scare you. There is very little else going on other than some things that capture the feeling of the early 1990's. The game also is visually pretty ugly. I am all for a walking simulator that tells a story and it doesn't have to be scary but this game just gets real annoying real fast. When you get to the the end you will be irritated that you stuck with it for the 2 hours it takes to finish.
