Star Fox8
Jul 7, 2026
For me it’s an 8. It’s great, it’s Star Fox on switch 2 and the graphical touch ups are awesome. Worth playing it, but to be totally honest with this review my nostalgia and joy in playing this game was higher when I was a kid playing star fox 64. Nice to return to it though but it just doesn’t have the same spark it had when I was a kid playing it. I guess the gameplay shows it was made back in the day. Still was worth visiting and I enjoyed my time with the remake.

Damn good game. I think like any game it either clicks for you or it doesn’t. But if this clicks with you, you’ll love the game start to finish. For me the game clicks and I give it an A. And I have been waiting for an old school Zelda like game for so long now, and this game really scratches that itch. People are bombing it though. When the critic score is a 9, I believe the critic score is more accurate than the user score for this game. Of course a game like this is target to being user review bombed. So many highly creative features are in this game and every area, every room is so very unique in its play style. I’m hooked right to the end. I guess literally my only gripe and I consider it small and insignificant to the gameplay, I would have preferred a 16 bit art graphic style over the 8 bit graphic style. But the colors and 8 bit graphics are absolutely gorgeous the way they did it. Love the game.

Resident Evil Requiem10
Mar 1, 2026
I give It a 10. The best games of the series in my opinion is this one, next we have RE4 Remake, and then RE2 Remake. Was totally drawn into this one from start to finish. This is one of them binge games where once you start playing it you just keep playing until it’s done. Solid game and I like the way they combined the survival horror style aspects as Grace and the the action oriented aspects as Leon. Leon is as bad ass as ever. The zombie and enemy variety this time around is the best it’s ever been. And is it just me or did they get a little inspiration from Little Night Mares ? It’s short but basically on par with other resident evil games and sometime shorter is better than these long games that just drag out. My first run is 13 hours but I can see a second run probably will cut the time. I can definitely see myself playing this game another round or so. Resident Evil is the best zombie/ survival horror series and this one delivers!

Absolum9

Absolum is absolutely awesome, loved playing this game and going to continue playing it in the next coming week. This game caught me off guard didn’t even know about it and it was totally off my radar. I downloaded it after hearing some decent reviews but didn’t expect it to grab me and hook my attention like it did. I don’t care for rogue like games, and only sometimes enjoy beatem ups. My favorite beat-em ups are the teenage mutant ninja turtle beat em ups, and especially shredders revenge. I can say this formula works for me and might be the best beat-em up I’ve ever played in my entire life. It seems hard at first but once you figure out how to play it is just awesome! Solid 9, gonna keep playing and loving it. Best beat-em up game ever.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater9
Oct 20, 2025
For me the game is a solid 9 out of 10. Just for context, I played the original MGS3 Snake Eater back in the day on PS2 and loved that game. Played all the MGS games. I guess the biggest concern I had with the release as a remake is that would it give me that nostalgic feeling that pulls me in and makes me really enjoy a video game. The answer is yes this game absolutely gave me total nostalgia. It was actually like re-experiencing the game again in an updated version which it was. I guess I thought if it would be an exact remake recreation that it would make me feel dull like I played the old game again which is definitely not the case with the new menus, graphics, and 3D play style. It truly felt like a brand new game again. Great game, highly worth playing, and it definitely gave me the nostalgic feeling I once had when I played the original snake eater. I really love the old school Soviet cold war era style snake game setting compared to the other metal gear solids that are set in a kind of present day. It’s not a 10 though just because I feel like it would be cool if they could have expanded the remake with some additional areas or levels kind of like the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes. Even though the mechanics were really nicely remade it seems like the areas, bosses, and places were all mostly the same. Nonetheless it was great game, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a metal gear solid fan. It was definitely worth revisiting and playing the remake.

Astro Bot is a 10/10 for me, solid game start to finish. The nostalgia hits you on with this one… and nostalgia is the best feeling I get when I play a video game! Also I consider it to be among the top 5 best PS5 games I own.

For me, Resident Evil 4 Remake is the best Resident Evil game EVER made. My second favorite is the Resident Evil 2 Remake. 10/10, also one of my favorite top PS5 games. I finished it twice, and a 3rd time with Ada’s quest. Awesome game. I highly recommend it.

Little Nightmares III7
Oct 12, 2025
It’s decent, don’t let my 7 rating make it seem like the game isn’t good or isn’t worth playing. It is still worth playing in my opinion particularly if you’re a little nightmares fan. It does play out well like the little night mares games 1 and 2 before it, and plays out well with decent new areas. Problem is it just doesn’t have the same feeling of nostalgia that the first game has, and it doesn’t have the same scare factors of the second one (or the first one). So coming from someone that played all 3, the 3rd one is my least favorite. Also looks like the final chapter has to be paid for. My biggest gripe is that I find it annoying that I can’t play co-op on the same console/same screen! Me and my wife were planing to play this together! We were disappointed and thought it would have co-op, instead we’re just taking turns we’re a buggy AI partner that can’t figure out what to do sometimes. That part was a huge disappointment as I thought the 3rd one was going to have co-op to it, I don’t see any reason why they couldn’t have pulled it off and had 2 players on the same console/screen, they should have been able to do that so -1 point just for that gripe alone. Also encountered some bugs along the way that made progress confusing. The developer could still potentially address these issues and the came could be an 8.

Hollow Knight: Silksong10
Sep 10, 2025
100/100 or a 10/10 Okay Hollow Knight: Silk Song is my #1 Metroidvania of ALL TIME. This is coming from someone who My TOP metroidvanias are Ori and the blind forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Hollow Knight, and also, Nine Sols, Animal Well, Steam World Dig 2, and Monster Boy: The Cursed Kingdomg. Loved the old school Super Metroid, and Metroid 2 on the gameboy and played through that. This is coming from a Metroidvania and souls or Zelda like Elden Ring, souls, Sekiro like gamer here for a challenge. Love both the 2D and the 3D. So hearing the #1 complaint is because the game you couldn’t beat is #1 game I stood up and challenged and beat a difficult battle with practice and “Git Gud”. If you can’t beat this game then you just lack the skill required but that is also basically the only reason this game is getting downvoted and losing points. That is no reason to down vote a games points and review score. If needed team cherry can create a difficulty setting in a patch to adjust if the spawn is from a bench position or there is just 1 hit point damage from enemies. And the Gold Metal to the best Metroidvania game I have ever played in my entire life goes to: Hollow Knight : Silk Song

Silent Hill f9
Oct 6, 2025
I’d give it a solid 8 (9* with updated review and edits) just because it’s getting review bombed. Great psychological horror and I really like the mysterious atmosphere here and setting in rural 1960s Japan. Is it worth playing? In my opinion YES it is, worth a nice October Halloween. I understand why it’s getting bombed. It loses points in the combat area, while I’m okay with the melee only combat, it would be nice to have some kind of ranged attacks. Also the combat controls, aren’t sharp and left me frustrated. Also the stamina in the combat was frustrating as well. Yes so frustrating combat, and no-ranged combat (melee only). But other than that I was hooked on the game to the end. It’s still in my opinion worth playing and enjoyable besides the frustrating combat. The story and multi endings actually grew on me after piecing it all together. *** UPDAGE, I finished the game to get the basic ending and dove deep into the endings… note I didn’t have time to actually perform a full playthrough again to get another ending but I just looked up the story and endings online on YouTube … *** to that the game gets +1 point for story and overall story understanding with ending. ***NICE*** final bosses***… I upgrade this review from a 8 to give it a solid 9 now, it is a MEMORABLE game. So ya frustrating combat is a -1 in review but then it is a 10 from that so it’s overall a memorable 9. To me, it invoked many emotions. SOLID, it has its fauls but this is a very memorable game and I enjoyed its play through that evoked nostalgia, terror, and subjective feelings. So yes I STRONGLY recommend this game, despite the review bombs. *** also I want to say maybe a spoiler but just a general strong story point… the story message is a very powerful mix of both silent hill, survival horror, psychologically horrific, but the representation of the first histories, and still some times realities of being a woman and the sometimes both choices but non-choices. Great womanhood story***
