When told you can never capture lightning in a bottle twice, I imagine that Gabe Newell and the rest of Valve responded with "Wanna bet?" and proceeded to capture more than last time. An improvement on the first game in every conceivable way, Portal 2 improves on every quality that made the first game great. The characters are fantastically well written, leading to great dialogue (Cave Johnson is my spirit animal); the gameplay is refined to perfection; the puzzles are just as and, in some cases, more challenging than those in the first game; the atmospheres of each environment are immaculate; and the game is FUNNY. This is a 10/10 experience that everyone should play at least once. Remember: when life gives you lemons, burn life's house down!

Is it accurate to the legal justice system? No. Is it insanely charming and fun? Absolutely.

While the game has a fantastically written story, it sacrifices engaging and fun gameplay to do so.

While not as long, complex, or entertaining as its sequel, Portal is still an expertly crafted puzzle game that will have you leaving it with slightly more brain cells than you had before.

To quote youtuber tactical Bacon Productions, this is a game so poorly made to the point where it makes me physically ill.

This game has simple albeit great gameplay, hilarious comedy, and a very entertaining story My one big issue with the game is that certain areas are permanently blocked off after visiting them, making it near impossible to 100% the game on your first run. other than that, this is an amazing game that is on par with and almost surpasses the quality of the show. I believe it is something every South Park fan should play at least once.
