It's no exaggeration to say this is one of the greatest games of all time. This comment box would not do it justice. Gameplay, voice acting, exploration, story, soundtrack, all top of the line. It does have that CRPG jank, with bugs and glitches, but it can all easily be overlooked. The last act of the game also shows some signs of it being rushed/unfinished, which is a shame, but it's really such a minor downside given this game sheer scale. Definitely give this game a chance.
This is a weird game, it feels kind of lazy in some parts, but I can't help but like it. The gameplay is pretty cool and brings some cool stuff to the tactics genre, stuff you don't really see in Xcom or Fire Emblem, but it kind of falls short of utilizing these mechanics because the AI is so terrible, it never poses any challenge at all. I played it on hard mode the first time around and never lost a single unit. Some quests are done like puzzles, having you solve them in one turn, and they are very enjoyable, but not hard in the slightest. Then there is the story. It is ok, mostly. Has some cool moments with the Phantom Thieves and nice idead but feels very low stakes, something that would at most be a Palace in the main game. It stretches for too long and really gets in the way of the game, hurting the pacing a lot; sometimes you have 30+ minutes of just dialogue/cutscenes. The music is godlike as expected, but only the vocal tracks. The non vocal ones that play during a lot of the stages are pretty mediocre and forgettable but hey, 6 great vocal tracks from Lyn is very very good in my book. The DLC is also very overpriced. Again, cool variation on the gameplay and ok story, even being a better idea of what this game could be, a small side story. but it costs wayy to much for 3 hours of gameplay. All in all, if you are a Persona fan, this is worth it, but if not, get this when on sale.

Probably the best 2D Mario ever, and that's saying a lot. The game is a bit too easy but makes up for it with sheer creativity, visual and audio design. Truly a masterclass in 2D platformers.
A little rough around the edges, with bugs and mechanics not super well explained, difficulty ramping up too much near the second half and skill checks being way too hard, but still a great CRPG with hundreds of diferent paths and choices to be made. I also love the world and lore of the Wasteland series. The humour is also a highlight, very high recommend for those who like the genre.
This game is fantastic. The scope of it is absurd: so many times I couldn't believe just how big it was and how I could see so far into the distance and know I could go there without a single loadtime. Then there is the fact that there is a whole area of the same size underground and a much smaller but still great area in the sky and is becomes almost unbelievable that this is running on the Switch. Still, that is not without its problems, as the game is 30 fps with constant framedrops, which is a shame, as it really detracts from the experience. Nevertheless, this is a world worth exploring. There are NPCs and field bosses and interesting quests at every turn. You 100% get sidetracked all the time because there is just so much to do. The physics are impressive. So many shrines rely on you solving puzzles and they can all be "cheated" by exploiting the game's systems, it is wild and sparks creativity. The building mechanic is quite impressive as well, but I have to say a lot of the time it is difficult to make it work. A lot of the contraptions are kinda wonky and it takes a long time to build something more stable, especially without autobuild just doing it for you out of the schematics. The companion mechanic is kinda bad, it seems half-baked. Activating their abilities should be tied to a menu, instead of you having to turn the camera to find and run all the way to them whilemashing A, and they should help out in combat more. I don't know if it's a better mechanic than the abilities in BotW. The story is a bit mixed. It's good, but very repeated from BotW and due to the non-linear aspect of the game, you kinda have the same experience(story-wise) whenever you do a regional main quest, the characters don't react to the things you already know, which is especially jarring after you learn about what happened to Zelda. **** ending is superb. From the moment the Ganondorf fight starts to the end, it is just out of this world. Both great in scope but also a tearjerker. I have not felt this good after a game ending in a long while. All in all, a fantastic game, worth of all the praise and will be remembered as one of the great titles of the Switch.
Incredible entry to the series. Blowing most other FGs out of the water, in my opinion. The gameplay is deep and the Drive system is an incredible addition. The execution has been simplified when compared to previous titles(SFV not withstanding) but it is still hard...sometimes even too hard for beginners who aren't all that interested in putting so much effort in learning, but that's how it is, honestly. World Tour mode is also a really cool addition. FGs have been, for a very long time, glorified arcade ports, with arcade mode and combo trials being the only true "single player" content there is. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's plenty of casual fun and a cool distraction from the more hardcore fighting. The online experience is also top notch. Not only is the netcode pretty good, making matches lag-free(as long as you are not playing on terrible connection), the overall matchmaking and quality of life features are impressive. It should be said that this game has things like battle pass/premium pass on top of the character season pass which is pretty scummy. Capcom always tries to monetize things to an unfair degree and this is no exception. I'm fine with paying a season pass for more characters released through a year or so, but also including a "battle pass" is just jumping on the "games as a service" bandwagon to squeeze as many pennies out of players as they can.
This game is very good, however, it tries very hard to be more difficult and less fun than it is, especially with the random elements. While the enemy patterns and boss fights are pretty much skill based, your experience each run varies WIDELY based on the items you get. Some items are great, some are just fine and the vast majority are borderline useless and unfun. I cannot express enough how much more fun rainbow runs are, because you can get some cool weapons and items and just experience more of what the game has to offer you. A lot of the time in regular runs I realized I just wasn't having fun because I'd take a lot more time to clear floors and bosses because I had to use the default weapon, or some terrible item and gun and run out of ammo for it. The ammount of times I'd restart a run on floor one/two because I got 3 D-C quality weapons in a row is more than I can remember. This is not to mention a bunch of hidden mechanics and item descriptions and synergies left intentionally vague that will just result in you opening a wiki to see what it does. We are not on the SNES days anymore where these things would have to be figured out through repeated playthroughs and discussions with other players, there is not much reason to not have these things explained in game on a menu. I kinda wanted to give a lower score, but since I've played so much there is definitely something engaging and fun to this game. It just tries really hard to not let you experience it.
So many years after release, still barely functional game. Most people just use old graphics too. Old Blizzard is dead and gone. Been playing WC3 since it came out and since Reforged arrived it's the least I've ever played. Shame.
Super weird and fun game. Very misterious, a bit of card roguelike with escape the room, that is, until the game shifts wildly and you are left confused and wondering. Recommend.
Absolutely fantastic game. Beautiful and well written. Some UI/optimization problems but can be overlooked.
The biggest problem is the lack of an endless mode. In a sim game like this, it feels very weird to not have it. I hope it gets added in the future so I can play more.
Absolutely gorgeous game, it's hard to even put into words how beautiful the artstyle and level/character design is. The story is also very cute and heart warming. The voice acting is top notch, especially Cereza's. Sadly this game is connected into the terrible writing universe they did with Bayonetta 3, but ignoring that the self contained story in this game is wonderful. The gameplay is very fun and innovative too: you control Cereza with one half of the controller and Cheshire with the other, this leads to a very diferent experience that's very enjoyable. I do think Cereza does not have enough things to do during combat compared to Cheshire, but it's the only big complaint about the controls. The biggest complain I have is how bad the map is. Not only it is weird on how it navigates vertically, it also lacks the names of which areas the edges of one area connect to, so you're kinda navigating blind sometimes. Absolutely fantastic game that puts a great spin on the metroidvania genre.
Absolutely fantastic game, from start to finish. Superb visuals, soundtrack, story and turn based gameplay. A few complaints like how the confidant system takes too long and some of them are almost useless, and the story taking too much time sometimes, aren't enough to eclipse this absolute gem ****. You should definitely play this if given the chance.

Fire Emblem Engage has the best gameplay the series has had so far. This is complemented by the excelent map design, also some of the best this series has ever had. However, this game has a few shortcomings, mostly it's story and characters. The story is generic at best and really, really bad at its worst points(ch 20-22), the characters that the story focuses the most are kind of uninteresting, with the rest of the roster being a lot cooler. Also, some of the character designs are really, really weird, not fitting at all in a medieval fantasy setting. I much prefer the simpler design of some characters over the really exagerated ones. The soundtrack is also good, but it's great how it dinamically shifts between a more action focused version of the song it's playing when you go into combat. The UI of the game is also somewhat bad and clunky, you will spend a lot of time in menus when you are not in battle. In the end this is a very worthwhile game if you are a fan of the franchise, but bad story and characters really do hurt the overall enjoyment of and RPG, for obvious reasons.
Amazing game in every regard: gameplay, story, visuals and music. It rewards good gameplay and you will see an improvement if you dedicate time to it. The game also has a multitude of collectibles, unlockables, extra modes and etc to keep you playing for a very long time. It certainly will enter the hall of fame of great action games alongside Bayonetta and DMC.
Game is hard, so damn hard, but, it's very satisfying as well. As for visuals and sound, nothing I say here could make justice to how good it actually is, but you probably know that already.

Pokemon Scarlet (and Violet) is a clearly unfinished product. There is a very fun game beneath all the catastrophic performance issues, ugly graphics and animations and terrible design decisions, but these are very hard to overlook. If this wasn't a pokemon game it would have been bashed to hell and back by everyone, but apparently it's just "taking steps in the right direction" despite being a 30+ years old franchise that makes billions of dollars. The worst part is that this will never change, given the game's absolute sales success. Gamefreak will keep pumping out terrible products and holding a series dear to many hostage to terrible development. The amateurish is display here is staggering, and it saddens me to see a good game squashed by terrible decisions.

Shovel Knight: 8/10 great game, classic, feels the most balanced of all Plague Knight: 7/10 has some problems, like combat just feels inferior than others, but still quite enjoyable Specter Knight: 10/10 best combat, story and platforming, although has some **** moments imo King Knight: 5/10 barely could bother myself to finish, card game is unfun and both combat and platforming are also worst in the series. The ending was cool, though. Overall incredible platforming experience, highly recommend.
This game is incredible. A few problems like the Shrines being a little too repetitive and weapon durability being very annoying do not take away from the overall experience and, 5 years since it's release, we can see how much influence it had in the industry.
Absolute classic. This game stands the test of time as genre-defining. Still discovering things 20+ years after I originally played. And of course, the name gives away the fact that the OST in this game is probably one of the greatest OSTs ever. Give it a listen, at least.
Beatuiful, beautiful visuals make this game a treat to play. The cat is also very fun to control and watch. The game is very short and sweet, but I feel like it loses a bit of focus on our cat protagonist, mainly making it a more human/robot story game. It also resorts to more traditional storytelling with textboxes and such, instead of telling the story through a more enviromental way, like Inside or Journey. The ending is also ambiguous for not benefit at all.
The best Tales game I've played. The combat is deep and fun and the cast is great. The locations are also very beautiful. Enemy variety is lacking a bit and the story quality takes a nosedive in the third realm, but it improves a bit more later. Highly recommend if you enjoy JRPGs.
The game is absurdly beautiful and the cast is fantastic. I seriously have problems thinking of which 3 characters to fit in my team, given that I like so many of them. However, like a lot of recent fighting games, it seems the devs mostly focus on the multiplayer aspect of it and deliver us basically an arcade game. A part from story mode there really isn't any single player content(altough they added Rugal boss mode, it's pretty barebones too, beat it in 6 tries). Also, it seems that since launch, there are people that simply cannot play on line and this problem has not even been adressed by the developers. All in all, a great fighting game, but lacking in content.
A great game, with an exciting story told in a way that could only be told in a video game. The characters and situations are well written and the juxtaposition of ancient rome and modern times is entertaining. The amount of historical research that went into the making of this game is staggering, considering the short dev team.
A masterpiece of level design and storytelling. The game isn't as funny as Psychonauts 1, but it's still pretty funny. The combat is a bit simplistic and on the normal difficulty it will offer no challenge at all, however it's fun and sometimes I wanted more combat and less platforming. Most collectibles are also meaningless, and the pin/badge system is pretty bad, with a maximum of 3 pins offering no diversity at all or excessive menu fiddling. Highly recommend, hoping for a Psychonauts 3(in less than 20 years, please).
Probably the best open world in a game to date. There is so much to do and see, that is leaves other open worlds to shame. Gameplay-wise, it's what you expect out of a Souls game, but with more depth and variety. The rewards for dungeons or other challenges can be a hit or miss: sometimes cool stuff that you want, sometimes useless things, but "the journey not the destination" is very much applied. The end game has a major spike in difficulty(mostly enemies doing absurd amounts of damage), but it is still a very very satisfying experience. Highly recommend.
There is little justice to be made trying to review Hades in text form like this. The game's story, gameplay and music are so concise that you can't really explain it without experiencing yourself. Probably the best of it's genre and a must play overall.
Probably the best looking fg out there. Also has a killer soundtrack and impeccable netcode. The gameplay was simplified from previous entries, but still has more depth and complexity than most fgs out there. A few problems like the bad lobbies and unlockables, and the incredibly long time it takes to connect to the servers hold it back from being a perfect game, but these are very small problems. Please do yourself a favor and play this game
