Persona 5 Royal10
Feb 4, 2021
This game is one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. I never found time for the original Persona 5, so when I knew this game was going to be released, I decided to wait and play this version. It's hard to find flaws in this game. Perhaps one of the after summer palaces is a bit annoying (don't want to spoil anything), but still, it's an almost perfect game, a game that I recommend not only to JRPG fans, I recommend the game to everyone! Yeah, it's long, very long. But is that bad? It would be if it became tedious at some point, but for me it doesn't... So yeah, story and characters are amazing, dungeons are great, and the turn-based system is also almost perfect. There are also some amazing musical themes in the game, some songs are unforgettable. It also has many difficulty settings, so you can play the one that suits you the most, whether you want to just play the story or have some challenging battles. As a tiny negative point, I think that the game can feel overwhelming at the beginning. The first couple of hours are very linear, but after that, you are given a lot of freedom, and you may not know what to do. You just have to get used to it... You will very quickly, at least I did. I don't know, this game is almost flawless, one I will never forget.

Paper Mario: The Origami King9
Sep 11, 2020
Paper Mario: The Origami King is the (positive) surprise of the year for me. I am a big fan of the first 2 Paper Mario, being TTYD my favourite game of all time, and my disappointment with Sticker Star was huge. So I played this game expecting nothing, and in the end I really enjoyed it, I even got the 100% on it. It has many positives. World is well designed, with secrets everywhere, exploring is probably the most fun thing of this game, just finding hidden blocks, holes, and treasures feels rewarding, and time goes fast by doing that. As for the battle system... Well, here is the tricky part. For me it was fine at the beginning, then mid-game I didn't enjoy it that much, and then for the end of the game I actually enjoyed it again, as I learnt how to play the game much better, how to use my weapons properly and the Toads' help when needed, and this makes battle go fast. This makes you actually get more coins, which is important, as if you don't play battles properly, they are almost useless, as you don't get enough coins and experience points don't exist in this game. It's not the easiest battle system to get into, I get it, but it works well once you figure it out. And bosses are actually quite fun, especially when you fight them in the virtual machine of Toad Town; without help of accessories, you actually get punished for your mistakes. All in all, for me the game was a lot of fun, it's very original, and it keeps on surprising you with the situations that happen. You also have some good laughs, as always with this series. Sure, it may be hard to get into due to the battle system, you have to get used to it, and also, some parts of the game are a bit slow, but positives outweigh negatives for this one. As a final consideration, I would love for Paper Mario to go back to the original battle system, but, if they decide to be creative, and achieve the quality of this game, I won't complain.

Kingdom Hearts III7
Sep 11, 2020
As a big fan of the series, this game was not good enough for me. The wait for KH3 was too long, and that made the final result even more disappointing. The story is a mess, and I don't like how slowly it advances for a super rushed ending. The fact that you don't actually fight against certain enemies (don't want to spoil anything) until the very end is very underwhelming. Also, certain characters appear almost since the beginning of the game to accomplish something, and this something is never resolved and left for the DLC content... And worlds... There is a big difference between some of them. For instances, this game's Hundred Acre Woods is the worst in the series, much worse than the versions in KH 1 and KH 2. I also didn't like Attractions, they felt like very artificial attacks, coming out of nowhere. Starting the review like this, you may be wondering, why does he still rate the game with a 7? Well, it's because Kingdom Hearts 3 is not by any means a bad game. The game play is fun, the leveling-up system and the amount of abilities you get is also well made, and while some worlds are not that great, some of the worlds (especially Frozen and Rapunzel's ones) are amazing. Graphics are also quite decent, some of the worlds are very colourful and well designed. And finally, I like the final boss battle a lot, it was what it had to be, at least in my opinion. All in all, after such a big wait, the game feels a bit underwhelming. I won't play the next instalment in the series with the same illusion I started this one. That may actually be good, lower expectations might make for a better experience. But still, Kingdom Hearts III is a very good game, I still recommend the series, as it's very easy to play nowadays thanks to the re-releases of previous titles, and I still recommend this game to fans of the series, as it's a good game. It just might not live up to your expectations.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe8
Jan 13, 2019
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a quite decent game with a good amount of levels (more than 160) that have good designs, and a lot of secrets to be found. However, it's a port **** that didn't innovate much when it was released in Wii U a few years ago, and it doesn't include enough changes to deserve the name "Deluxe". The best thing about the game is that it includes the levels from New Super Luigi U, which is an amazing game, quite challenging and with very fast-paced and well-made levels. But again, you could already get the Wii U version with it, and at a much lower price. Still, it's a good platform experience in a portable console; and quite recommended for those that didn't own a Wii U.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe9
Jul 17, 2018
I'm close to 100% completion, and I'll get it for sure. This game is amazing! The only thing I can't talk about is the 3D mode as I am playing with a New 2DS, but I can analyze the rest of the game. And I love it, I like it more than the recent Kirby Star Allies game for the Switch. Stages are long and well designed, with many things to do and some hard to find secrets. The game keeps on surprising you with new themes and mechanics in stages until the very end, and that's cool and something not every game accomplishes. As in every Kirby game, don't expect much challenge to beat the game, the story mode, but actually getting the 100% completion rate is hard! It has a few challenging keychains to find, and it has some tough additional modes. Graphics look really nice on a 3DS, the game is colorful and full of joy, as you'd expect from a Kirby game. And music is also really nice, The only negative aspect I have seen is the Hypernova ability. Don't get me wrong, it's ok, but stages that use it are quite slow-paced and the ability is a bit overpowered. I preferred stages that didn't use this ability, but well, it's not that bad. All in all, an amazing 3DS title every user of the console must buy, especially due to its low price as it is a Nintendo Selects game!

Detective Pikachu8
Mar 24, 2018
Detective Pikachu is an easy game, that's for sure, but it's also quite decent! I am actually very surprised with it. It has many funny situations, and cases, while sometimes predictable, are also fun to follow and make you want to get to the very end of them. There is a big number of Pokémon, and the interaction with them is well made. That's one of my favourite parts of the game, the interaction with this world of Pokémon, one of the most realistic worlds of Pokémon we have ever seen. Detective Pikachu is quite the character as well, he is constantly making jokes. And graphics, for a 3DS, are nice. This game is very enjoyable for any Pokémon fan, and is a great way for younger players to get introduced to graphic adventure games. This is something we are seeing in Nintendo these days a lot, they are making many games that, while enjoyable for everyone, can introduce younger players to certain genres. For example, Miitopia does that with RPGs, and Kirby Star Allies does that as well with platform games. All in all, a quite decent game, a good surprise for me, wasn't expecting anything of it but I am having fun! It can get a bit repetitive, and it's easy, but the ideas are good, and I actually want Nintendo to keep evolving this Detective Pikachu saga with future games!

Kirby Star Allies8
Mar 19, 2018
Kirby Star Allies is a very fun game, especially when played along with other people. You can play it alone, and it'll be fun, but it shines when you play multiplayer. The game is easy and doesn't offer a challenge until the end, in the post-game. However, level design is quite good, graphics are just beautiful, and the sound track is also quite decent. The mechanic of making friends along the way is very nice, although you get the feeling that the CPU controlled friends do too much, they beat the game by themselves if you let them. Levels have good variety and are quite long, and bosses are also very fun, easy, but fun. All in all, as always, a Kirby game doesn't disappoint, they are what they are, chill platform games that are fun and easy most of the time, if you look for a very hard game, this game isn't for you, but if you look for a very fun experience, especially if you are able to share the game with someone and play co-op mode, you'll have a lot of fun with this game.

Shin Megami Tensei IV9
Mar 8, 2018
This is a very nice Shin Megami Tensei Game!! It has a good story, quite good characters, and its JRPG mechanics are great, the battle system is amazing. You have to focus on attacking the enemy's weaknesses, because they inflict much more damage and give you extra turns. Battles tend to be very fast-paced, you do a lot of damage to enemies, but enemies do a lot of damage to you as well, so be prepared. It is in fact a very challenging game, the beginning of the game is one of the hardest beginnings I have ever experienced in a JRPG, you die, and you die a lot!! As for demons, you form a team consisting of quite a few of them, but fight only with 4. You acquire them by recruiting them in normal battles, and by fusing. Fusing is extremely important in this game, do not get too attached to a demon, this is not Pokémon! You have to fuse your demons a lot to constantly get stronger demons and access to new abilities. I personally enjoy the fusion mechanic, I spend a lot of time seeing what demons I can create and what abilities can help my team more. The variety of demons in the game is very nice, you have a lot of freedom and options throughout the whole game. As for maps and puzzles in the game are nice, although as the game progresses and the world becomes bigger and bigger it's extremely easy to get lost or to not know where is the place you need to go next. I've needed a walkthrough a couple of times to keep progressing. All in all, an extremely good game, it can be frustrating at times and maps aren't the best, but it is a gem and a extremely enjoyable JRPG. I know the beginning of the game is tough, but give it time and learn how to deal with the mechanics, you'll have a great experience!

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness10
Jan 27, 2018
That 64 score is extremely unfair, Pokémon XD is a brilliant game. The main character isn't as cool as the one in Colosseum, but it's a much better game than its predecessor! It fixes all the problems Colosseum had. Now Shadow Pokémon are actually powerful, as their moves are always super effective. It also features trainers with more than one Shadow Pokémon, and more than 90 Shadow Pokémon! And well, purifying Pokémon with the Purification Machine is much easier and faster than the Colosseum method! It's generally much more polished than Colosseum, for example, in Colosseum you may lose the chance of catching certain Shadow Pokémon forever if you kill it, here, you don't, as a certain famous trainer will get them and you can try again as many times as you want! The world is fun to explore, and some of the final trainers can be very challenging. Mt. Battle is also there for a challenge. But if you really want a Challenge, try Orre Colosseum. It's one of the hardest Pokémon challenges ever created, it's tremendously tough. The only cons I find with this game are that the main story a bit short, though it can be played over and over with different teams and it will feel different. Also, I think they could have gone a bit deeper with Shadow Moves, as there are very few of them, it would have been cool to have a bit more of variety with them. All in all, a fantastic experience, one of the best GC games ever, it won't disappoint you. I'd give it a 9.5-9.6, but to round it, I give it a 10.

Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires' Conspiracy8
Jan 27, 2018
This game is a pretty good Layton game! Its story may be a bit weaker than some of its predecessor's, and we have to agree that some of the cases' resolutions make little sense and are not that great, but the game has some great puzzles and going through the cases is very fun! I have to say, though, that as you progress in the game it gets better and better. Also, its graphics, for a 3DS, are very good, although of course this game isn't focused on graphics. While we all miss Luke and Professor Layton, the 3 new main characters (Layton's daughter, her assistant Ernest, and the dog) are awesome, they are very charismatic and fun to play with. We have to highlight as well that there are 195 puzzles (185 + 10 special ones), that is I think the highest number ever in a Layton game! Coupled with the daily puzzles you can download, there are a lot of misteries to solve! All in all, a pretty good game, if you like the saga this is a must-have, and if you haven't played any other Layton games yet, this one doesn't disappoint as a start!

Super Mario Odyssey10
Oct 27, 2017
This game is amazing, I cannot stop playing it! It feels so fresh, yet it has so much nostalgia on it... I don't know, it's hard to express with words what this game is, it's beautiful, a master piece. There is a lot of exploration involved in it and the variety of situations for finding moons is astonishing. Transforming into different things is just magical, going from the frog which is your first transformation to a T-Rex, a Chain Chomp, a Winged Goomba... If you own a Nintendo Switch, this game is a must-have. If you don't, this game can make you consider getting this console. The only negative thing is that without using the 2 Joycons (when using the Pro controller, for instance), you don't have all the options to control your cap, but it's still perfectly fine. I don't know, that's just for saying something, because I don't find flaws in this game! It has renewed platform games, it has opened a world for them, like Zelda BOTW did with its genre. That's why I give this a 10 (I don't usually rate games with tens!), this game deserves it!

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions9
Oct 27, 2017
This is a great game. Superstar Saga was already an astonishing game on the GBA, and this is an amazing remake of it. I have beaten it 100%, and I really liked the updated graphics and the enhanced mechanics, like pinning some parts of the map, which allows to mark, for example, bean spots before you get the mole ability, so that you can return to all of them later, and many more inaccessible places that get unlocked with new abilities. The game wasn't very hard for me, but that may be because I am very experienced with Mario & Luigi games, having beaten all of them. It's cool they added an easy mode for younger and new players, but it would have been great if they had added something optional to increase the difficulty a bit too. As for the Bowser's Minions quest, I have to say I really enjoyed it! All the text in it is hilarious, and it explains a few parts of the story that were unexplained during the main story of Superstar Saga, for instance, the invincibility mushroom's origin. The gameplay is quite simple but you have to do quite a few things during battles, which in my opinion are quite fun, although there is not much variety in terms of strategy, what works early in the quest will likely work too in future stages. The variety of your team, however, is quite cool, as you get to recruit more than fifty different kind of minions, which include the Koopalings, and a few special guests I won't mention! All in all, Superstar Saga is a superb RPG that feels modern in this 3DS version and the Bowser's Minions quest adds a few entertaining hours to the game, so I recommend this to any 3DS user, whether you played the GBA version of the game or not!

Tales of Berseria9
Aug 28, 2017
This game is sublime! I had never played a Tales game before, but decided to give this a chance, and I am not disappointed! I haven't finished it yet, but I am very close to the end, 66 hours in (yes, it's very long!) Everything works well in the game! Battles are fun and fluent, and allow a lot of different strategies. But what stands out in this RPG are the story and the characters, both are epic. The main characters of this game are my favourite of all time, they are all so charismatic and different, and form such a great group. Another amazing thing is the theme of the game, quite unusual, as in this one you are the bad guy! Velvet (the main character) seeks revenge no matter what, and she will do whatever is necessary to get it! And the story is very well written, this is an RPG full of text and things to read. Sidequests are also nice, they give depth to the game, there is a lot to do, minigames, looking for treasures, fighting many optional opponents, getting equipment and abilities for your party... I've read there is a bit of postgame too, but can't talk about that as I am not there yet. Maybe the weakest points of the game are its graphics (it can be seen it comes from a Ps3 game, but they still look pretty good) and its maps are a bit empty and any of them is memorable, they are quite generic. All in all, I am really happy with this game and look forward to playing more Tales games, and if you like RPGs, give this game a try! You won't be disappointed!

Miitopia8
Aug 7, 2017
This is such a simple game... but such an amazing game as well! Sure, it's not the most complex one, but it excels at being fun! That is what Miitopia is, fun and funny, and the former is the most important thing in a videogame, isn't it? Sure, it's quite easy, but I love how fast-paced it is, time flies when playing it! And although it's simple, it has a lot of little details in terms of conversations, equipment and funny situations. It's also a great game for younger players to get introduced in RPGs. One of the biggest surprises of the year for me, a game I didn't expect anything of but turned out to be really good.

Gravity Rush Remastered9
May 15, 2017
Absolutely loved this game, it is amazing. I decided to beat it before Gravity Rush 2, and I can say it was a great decision. The best thing of it, by far is its originality and how fun it is. I have been playing videogames for very long, and this game felt unique, different to the rest, it stands out taking risks that work really well. Controlling gravity is very fun, extremely fun, sometimes I just lose time travelling around the city, searching for gems, flying from one way to another just having fun. You feel so free. I don't own a PS Vita, so this was my first Gravity Rush experience, I cannot compare the versions, but I can say graphics look really well in this Ps4 version. The story is also quite good, the main character and a few more are quite charismatic, and crazy sometimes as well! There are a few sidequests as well, but apart from challenges I felt there could have been a few more, they are really good so it would have been cool to have a bit more. The game is not perfect;it is not long, and there are few camera issues (which you'll end up controlling with practice), sometimes you have flown for so long you don't know where you are. Parts where you lose your gravity powers are a bit slow as well, but they don't last for long. But the game is very polished, pros outweigh cons heavily, and with the price it has, I see no reason for not buying it, it is a fabulous experience.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix9
May 15, 2017
This game is extremely fun, time flies when playing it, and that's the main point of a video-game! The amount of different songs is stunning, the highest one by a lot in the series, and some of them are memorable. It's the first time this game includes a story mode, and while a bit odd it doesn't ruin the pace of the game, some dialogues are hilarious. It's also a great chance to play some of the cool GBA minigames for western people, as Rhythm Tengoku only appeared in Japan. I have to say, though, that in my opinion it lacks a bit more of new content, most songs have appeared in other Rhythm Heaven games, and remixes have become a bit too easy in my opinion, there were more epic remixes in the other games. The challenges it presents, apart from the famous get a perfect in songs, consist of a train in which you travel. This is cool as it changes the pace of some of the songs, it makes you play them differently. Beating some of them is hard, and the last trains are insane, so don't think beating this 100% is easy, it's extremely hard (although for me getting all the perfects was much easier than in the 2 previous games). I cannot forget unlockables. There are a lot of them!! You get a lot of funny rewards during the whole game. And the Goat minigame, while frustrating at times, is simple and fun. All in all, an extremely fun game, the best to be introduced in this amazing saga, and a must-play for veterans as well, though these players will end with the feeling the game could have been a bit more.

Pokemon Moon9
May 14, 2017
This game is amazing, and not getting the scores it deserves in my opinion. It has the problem of starting a bit slow and with many cutscenes, which is maybe why it is getting low scores, the beginning of the game can be a bit tedious for veteran Pokémon fans. But this Alola region is amazing, beautiful, so full of joy and things to do, and from the third island things begin to improve drastically! It also becomes a lot harder from that point. I played without Exp. Share, without Z moves, and with Set Battle Style, and opponents began to overlevel my team even though I battled everyone. This made quite of the final battles of the game hard. So, it can be challenging if you want it to. Post-game is also quite decent, with many things to do, a few new routes, and the UB sidequest. Something I didn't like that much is the SOS battle system. With Pokémon constantly asking for help, it can be pretty annoying to catch Pokémon, and also some exclusive Pokémon from this system are a pain to catch (I spent an hour looking for a Slowbro, and when it appeared I had lost so much focus I killed it with a crit; at least that was great because later in the chain I got a Shiny Slowpoke!). Another thing I have to point out is the frame drops against Totem Pokémon and when there are many Pokémon in the screen in older versiones of the Nintendo 3DS. While those situations aren't very common, they are a bit annoying. But apart from that I love the path these two games have taken. It has renewed the Pokémon franchise a lot, with things like Island Trials replacing gyms, which I believe are quite original and some of the Totem Pokémon quite challenging to beat. It also removed HMs, which allows you to train freely a team of 6 Pokémon! Speaking of Pokémon, I really like most of the Alola versions of Gen 1 Pokémon, most like Grimer were made a lot better, a lot more useful in-game than they ever were. And new Pokémon design is also very good, for me better than 6th Gen and 5th Gen Pokémon by a lot. The variety of Pokémon you find in Alola is huge, but they made it pretty well adding at least one or two of the new Pokémon to each of the new places to make the whole game feel fresh. All in all, while not a perfect game, the game is still a very very good Pokémon game, it is being underrated due to its slow start, which maybe wants to help people new to the franchise understand Pokémon, but give it time, as it gets better the deeper you go in the game, and you can find challenge if you want to!

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past9
Apr 29, 2017
This is the first time I played this adventure, I didn't play the PlayStation version of it, so I can't compare them in this review. That aside, I have to say this is a great game, a game any JRPG fan should play, it has so classic yet immortal mechanics, it feels like an enhanced classic game, but a good one. The amount of different mini-stories you go through is huge, the game is very long, and it also gives you a lot of freedom with your characters. You can build them so many ways, teaching them many abilities for battle with the vocation mechanics. I really like that some of the mini-stories of each island can have a tragic ending, it's not always the happy ending you expect. The game is a bit too easy at the beginning, and it can get repetitive if you are not a fan of JRPGs, but as I said previously, any fan of this kind of game will love it.

Feb 1, 2017
Perhaps my favourite game of all time, and the one I have beaten more times. I mean, there is nothing I dislike about this game! Maybe it is a bit easy, but it is so fun... and funny as well! Characters, especially Mario's partners are astonishing, and the variety of places you get to explore is also very good. You go from a castle with a giant dragon, to a dojo coliseum, then to dark place where people become pigs... so there is no way this gets repetitive, you always have fun. I don't know, not much more to add, this is a masterpiece in every sense of the word, it is a real shame that new Paper Mario games are so far from this gem.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice10
Sep 14, 2016
I finished the game today, beating all the cases but the DLC one, and I have to say... This game is absolutely amazing. I see people complain that it doesn't innovate much, that it is almost the same old formula as the first Ace Attorney, but, honestly, is that a bad thing? Because I think it isn't! I just want more of the same with different stories and a few innovative additions, that's it! If something works, why does it have to change? About the game, it just never disappoints. The first case is cool, as it is a very deep case for being the first. It introduces the amazing mechanic of the Divination Séances, in which you witness the victim's final memories, and the Defense Culpability Act, which creates a lot of tension because it means that if your client is declared guilty, so is the one that defends it and he will receive the same penalty. The guitar witness was a bit annoying in this case, though, because he spoke extremely slowly sometimes. The second case is fantastic, with a very entertaining investigation part due to the troubles Apollo and Athena face during it. The trial and the way the victim died are also excellent, a very original plot, with a lot of magic! And in the third case we at last get to see Mystic Maya! The reunion between her and Phoenix was a great moment. And the plot of the case is once again very very good, extremely mystic and very well set in the Kingdom of Khura-in. The fourth case is in my opinion the worst case in this game. It's a bit odd and unrelated to the rest of the game. That doesn't mean it's boring, though, I liked it, Athena deserved her moment of glory, and the appearance of Simon Blackquill is good. Besides, the witness Uendo Toneido is extremely hilarious. It still feels too apart from the rest of the game, though. And well, the fifth case is absolutely amazing. I don't want to give spoilers, just tell you that the first trial day is unforgettable due to the circumstances that surround it. And well I was very surprised to have it focused on Apollo. I actually think that Apollo was a quite dull character in his own game, with almost no charisma, but Dual Destinies and mostly the last case of this game take us to know him a lot better and like him a lot more. I want to highlight just 2 more things, the first one is the development of the character of Rayfa. She becomes a very profound character despite being very young, for me she is one of the greatest characters ever the saga has given us. And the second one is the characters' names. Khu-rainese people have so clever names! For example, your first client is named Ahlbi Ur'gaid, which comes from "I'll be your guide". Heck, even Minister Inga's full name, Inga Karkhuul Haw'kohd Dis'nahm Bi'ahni Lawga Ormo Pohmpus Da'nit Ar'edi Iz Khura'in III, has a meaning! (How could this name be any longer or more pompous than it already is?") All in all, this game is a must-play for fans of the series, in my opinion much better and memorable than Dual Destinies. Perhaps not the best game to get started in the saga, though, but well, it's perfectly playable and enjoyable even if you haven't played the others (c'mon, play them, they are not hard to get!)

In 2 words: Just amazing. A great entry for the series after the also amazing ds entry. I mean some of the games might be a bit challenging at first but they are all doable, and getting the 50 perfects will take you a lot of time! The simplicity of the mechanics and characters is proportional to the fun you have playing! Also great to play with friends, as it is also quite funny. The multiplayer is a bit lacking, though, but it is actually not necessary to play with friends, you can always take turns for the songs. Extremely good, buy it if you can.

Yo-kai Watch8

Level 5 games almost never disappoint, and this is no exception. It is a full of charm RPG with good characters and many things to do! Yokai monsters are very cool and varied, and although I would like to have more control in the battles (Yo-kais attack on their own), you get to learn as you go in the game that there is actually some strategy involved in these battles. Actions for special moves are very repetitive though. Also another annoying part is recruiting Yo-kais, you may need many attempts even when giving them their favourite food! All in all, a very refreshing and fun addition to the RPG library of the 3ds!

Super Paper Mario8
Aug 20, 2016
Although it's very different to the first two Paper Mario games in terms of mechanics, this isn't by any means a bad game, it's actually well made, with nice easter eggs from the first 2 games, and very cool story, places and characters. The 2D to 3D feature is cool yet a bit annoying to use sometimes, and partners lack the charisma they had in the past two entries. Being able to control Bowser, Mario, Luigi and Peach is very nice, and going on in the story is nice although there are some very time-consuming and annoying parts.

F1 20169

At last a good F1 game! Thanks Codemasters, it took 6 years to give the fans what they wanted! The amount of features especially compared to its predecessors is stunning, Career Mode, Manual starts and manual braking when entering the pits, Safety Car (although in the actual version it hardly ever appears) and Virtual Safety Car, car improvements in the course of the season,.. Many interesting features! I don't like the AI too much, though, because they are not very racey, I hope they patch it in an update, they give up the position too easily. All in all, if you are a fan of F1, or race games, this one is a must-have.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity7
Aug 15, 2016
A decent entry for the series, although much worse than the first 2 Mystery Dungeon games (DS versions). There is a huge lack of Pokémon in this game, with just Gen V Pokémon and a handful from other generations appearing. Also you can only do one mission for each exploration, something very annoying. In my opinion the Pokémon Paradise feature is cool but it doesn't work very well, because you don't get important rewards with it and it takes a lot of time to build. Another negative point is text speed, OMG, the beta testers didn't complain about that? Another negative point is the lack of freedom, after a certain point of the game (which is very early) you cannot stop doing the main quest and do some missions, you are forced to keep going all the time! And well, I dislike you have to pay for exploring certain dungeons... But this is still a pretty good game, don't get me wrong! The story, while not as good as in the other 2 entries of the series, is very good, with great characters! Also exploring dungeons is always fun, and post-game dungeons are quite challenging. The feature of leveling up moves is an interesting addition as well! All in all, the game is short and feels a little bit empty, but at the same time keeps the essence of Mystery Dungeon with cool Pokémon to get, good storyline and characters, and good dungeons to explore!

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth9
Aug 14, 2016
Great game! It is a very fun JRPG, with a simple yet very good battle system, and amazing story! Some of the missions made are quite cool as well, although you get duplicate ones from your farm Digimon, which are very repetitive and with low rewards. That is in my opinion an annoying flaw, because species missions are important and you don't get what you want usually... While some dungeons are a bit repetitive especially because of having exactly the same graphics, the variety of Digimon you get to find in them is quite good. The Digimon list is not as massive as the one from World Dawn and Dusk, but all fan-favourites are here for you to train! Getting the DLC content for free in this version is also cool, as you get many more missions to do and a few gems you can use early in the game like BlkAgumon and BlkGabumon. In terms of difficulty, the game isn't too hard, although some bosses can be tricky to beat due to having overpowered moves. You can have some intense battles, and some of them while easy are fun. Also the game is quite long, especially if you want to get everything available as you play. That is yet another positive because with its great story it is good it lasts for long, sometimes you don't want to do secondary missions to keep going on the story! All in all, a very fun game, worth buying in my opinion, especially when its prize lowers in special Pstore sales!

Assassin's Creed Syndicate7

Quite solid entry for the series, exploring this London of the nineteenth century is absolutely amazing, I feel the graphics are great, they are just beautiful. On the other hand, while mechanics are not bad, battles are just button mashing (and there are very few types of enemies as well), and missions are extremely repetitive. All in all, while the game is not by any means a top game for its genre, it is certainly worth playing and good if you like this type of game.

Final Fantasy VI9

One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Amazing main characters with extreme versatility, also some of them very funny. Very good turn system for battling as well, with cool enemies and bosses. I like how the game is split in 2 parts, the first one quite linear and the second one giving you a lot of freedom to do whatever you want. The story is quite simple but by any means bad, main antagonists are very cruel. There is a very tiny point I dislike and it is Gau rages, I think there should have been a way to sort them or put the ones you use most in a different list, because when you have a lot of them it becomes very annoying to find the ones you want to use! Gau is an awesome character but that is a bit annoying. As I said an extremely minor detail, this game is a must-play for everyone owning a GBA or a way to play it!

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne9
Aug 13, 2016
Extremely good! Its depth and characters are amazing, and battle mechanics are very good, if you are clever and attack your opponent's weaknesses you earn turns, so you can actually win some of them without getting touched! Also demons are very good, fusing them is very fun although getting the attacks you want might need many tries and you can use multiple different strategies with them. Dungeons are good as well but some of them can prove to be very annoying, with multiple paths and traps on the way. Also there are some enemies with attacks that one shot your characters, so you can easily lose progress and get furious. But positives outweigh the negatives heavily! This game doesn't disappoint, you may need to use a walkthrough at some points, but that does not matter.

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon9
Apr 3, 2016
Great game. I am a big fan of this series, having played both DS versions and Gates to Infinity. And while the first two were amazing games, Gates to Infinity just fell short and empty, too few Pokémon, only decent story for a Mystery Dungeon game, and features such as the Paradise that didn't work that well due to many not very useful facilities and the fact that it takes too much time to build. But Super Mystery Dungeon takes the series back to its splendour. With every single Pokémon available (bar Volcanion) and a quite decent story with great characters such as your partner and some more, you have game for a very long time. The Connection Orb system is a cool feature for getting many Pokémon. It's also perhaps the hardest Mystery Dungeon game up to now, with opponents having tools for doing massive damage to you in many of the dungeons, and you will be punished for making mistakes. The looplets and emera feature is interesting, making you stronger as you go through the dungeon, but I feel too many of the emeras aren't very useful, and you rely on luck to find what you need. The soundtrack is as always in the series very very good. One thing I didn't like that much is the post-game though, you just do a couple of more story dungeons and that's it, then you have total freedom to do whatever you want, to finish recruiting all the Pokémon that you still don't have and getting some treasures. You'll also have to recruit here a massive amount of Legendary Pokémon, which you're unlikely to use much because you already finished the game (besides, big Pokémon are quite uncomfortable to take with you). I also dislike the moves the Pokémon have when they join you, some are awful, I can't count the amount of times I have had to go see Hawlucha for remembering moves. The fact that Pokémon level up without being in your expedition but don't learn attacks make you have to take a look at their moves every time you want to take them with you, otherwise you can have an awful set of them and get destroyed. Honestly not many flaws in this game, well polished and very fun to play.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star2
Mar 30, 2016
This is a extremely disappointing game. I mean, I was thrilled when I watched the trailers, getting back to the turn-based system, something I loved in the first 2 games and wasn't in the third, and the mark Paper Mario was all I needed for huge will to play this. But well... I didn't get what I expected. The great story and characters this series has had, especially the first two games, they are gone, the story is the same as every Mario game with nothing special, and the sticker system for battling is awful. You get no reward for winning battles, actually the game punishes you for battling, something I hadn't seen in any RPG. The only reward is... money. And for that you must win the battles spending your stickers, which you must buy with money or find while you play. Also bosses are ridiculous, there is an overpowered sticker for all of them that just destroys them, if you don't find it they are extremely hard, and if you find it they are piece of cake. Sure, the Paper Mario universe charm and great music are there, and the world, while not as good as the ones in the previous games, is decent (that's why this gets a 2 and not a 0...) All in all, don't buy this, it's not worth your time, there are much better games out there.

Shadow Hearts9

This game is very good, with great writing, cool characters and quite decent fights due to the judgment ring mechanics. The fact that you can take risks when attacking to deal more damage or much less or actually no damage at all is very cool, it gives the turn-based system of its battles something many games lack, it's original. The game is short and its graphics are not the best, but that's not too important, the most important thing is that it's very enjoyable.
