Battlefield 1 brings a rarely explored setting to the masses in this outing. While the setting does dramatically limit the firearms and vehicle offered, DICE managed to make an engaging and fun multiplayer game in this brutal setting.
Injustice is an exciting fighting game, with a solid story and improved gameplay elements from the first. While this iteration brings a novel concept in its gear elements, its overly grindy nature will leaving you wishing it was implemented differently.
Dishonored 2 is a dramatic improvement on the already stellar original. While its option to pick your playable character feels confusing as it seems that Emily should be the only playable character, it is neat that Arkane offered that option to players.
Xcom 2 is a easily approachable tactical experience. While Xcom 2 is still a punishing game, it adds accessibility features to allow a wider audience to enjoy it.
Uncharted original outing, fails to impress. It is shocking this title managed to have a sequel developed. While in hindsight, this was a good thing as all future titles a massive improvement on this snooze ****.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was ahead of its time, and still hold up gameplay wise today. While its story is straight forward, it is from a time when Tom Clancy games were grounded in a realm of realism.
Diablo is an arcade approach to the dungeon crawler. It clearly forgets its roots and botches its setting and story on almost every level. But ultimately, it is highly addictive and is hard to put down.
Gears of War 3 is the best in the original trilogy. Introducing horde mode, that brings fans a PVE experience, and capping of the trilogy with a great campaign.
Mass Effect brings gamers a wonderful universe ripe to explore. While its gameplay falls shorts in some areas, the story and setting all but make up for it.

Modern Warfare not only changed shooter, but gaming in general. It caused multiple studios to chase MW's success. The campaign is secured in a level of believability before Call of Duty leaned fully into "Michael Bay" action. To add to its great campaign, Modern Warfare changed the face of multiplayer with its highly addictive gameplay loop and create a class.
