Urban Chaos: Riot Response

It's really a testament to the game's quality that even though I found its politics and implications deeply troubling I was still won over by the amazing gameplay.

While the story and some of the gameplay elements could use some work, the sheer variety of action is enough to set it apart from a lot of so called “run and shoot” FPS games out there.

The game never advances the genre, but its use of a protective riot shield, one that progressively takes damage to the point where it's almost impossible to see through, is certainly a nice touch. [July 2006, p.72]

The game's twisted sense of humor and tendency toward overindulgence make it that much more enjoyable. If you're looking for a fun, pick-up-and-play shooter, and don't mind a lot of senseless brutality, Urban Chaos is the game for you.

As-is, playing Urban Chaos feels a lot like listening to a hit pop song. It's fun to hear the first few times, but repetition has its limits.

Lengthy play of Urban Chaos is a double-edged sword, in fairness. You'll come to admire the arcade structure and the way it taps into gamers' motivations to unlock everything, but the longer you play it, the more you'll spot the cracks in the AI, the level design and some bloody weird bugs.

Un juego espectacular, mi primera toma de accion en el género FPS, un juego con una historia sencilla, gráficos que hacen temblar a la siguiente generación y fisicas impresionantes. No se apodera la nostalgia de mi, es simplemente un diamante olvidado y que ojalá perdure durante mucho tiempo y se haga un remastered. Para mí junto a Black, el mejor fps de la sexta generación.

First person shooter involving a riot response squad that's a little bland to look at, but is quite well done on the whole and has plenty of side challenges to add to its replay value.

Ahh. The very first game developed by Rocksteady, the studio that went on to make the Batman Arkham Trilogy. Even for it's time, Urban Chaos is a mostly polished and enjoyable experience, despite the graphics looking very poor by today's standards. Though I will personally not buy this game, feel free to get it if you are a massive Rocksteady fan.

Hace mucho años tenia la demos del juego , me parecía brutal . Paso el tiempo y me lo encontré en una tienda de segunda mano , no dude en comprármelo , me costo 2 euros XD . Sin ir mas lejos de realidad la demo era mucho mejor que el juego completo .
