Yeah I already know this is a crazy score for this game but as time has gone on, this has grown off me heavily. I can admit the gameplay and graphics is extremely impressive and by far the best looking Batman game. However, its story is lowkey bad in some aspects. Lots of villains are rushed and there’s 3 villains trying to be at the top for the big bad of this game. Joker while already fatigued from as we’ve had him in every game works great here as a psychological aspect to Batman’s perspective. However, scarecrow is such a massive problem as he doesn’t feel as intimidating as he should. Plus, I don’t know why they decided to change red hood to Arkham knight. It was so obviously Jason Todd. This game should have just been a Batman vs Red Hood storyline. I’m also not a fan of the Batmobile of this game as a lot of missions get very tedious with it. Overall, a massive disappointment considering Arkham City is probably my favorite game ever. Or one of them.

Literally improved everything from the first bit into the greatest Batman video game ever and one of the best video games of all time

Pretty great start to this legendary trilogy. The greatest component to this game is its atmosphere and the way the developers use it to tell the story makes it so much more fundamentally interesting and satisfying as a whole. This game could have been almost incredible if it weren’t for the lackluster boss fights

The story is egregiously awful and rushed. The gameplay while absolutely awesome still has bugs even after a decade

This is such a disappointing story as they had a great idea. But what they do here is pretty much flip the assassin and Templar ideology here. So the assasins are bad guys and Templar good. This is such a boring and uninteresting way to tell a story and a lot of plot details don’t work. Adawale is completely character assassinated too

Honestly this game is still such a surprise because I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I’d thought. This doesn’t have everything I love about AC as I think there are fundamental aspects such as parkour and social stealth missing. However, the story actually works. It’s engaging, interesting and actually makes sense this time around. The game is bloated and has some content that isn’t necessary but it doesn’t ruin it compared to the other RPG installments.

The story is extremely generic and the main protagonists especially Jacob are annoying as hell. It’s so hard to get through this story with how underwhelming and bland it is.

I mean this doesn’t really feel on brand to the franchise but it doesn’t really stand out that much. It feels so generic of an rpg and the voice acting is rough

It’s so boring I really can’t finish it. So you can take my review with a grain of salt but I’m sorry it’s so uninteresting and the gameplay is absolutely awful.

Extremely disappointing especially considering that the Japan setting has been long awaited. I don’t really have a problem with the characters as I’m sure a lot of people have discussed one of the main characters being black. I don’t have a problem with this. I’m pretty sure it is historically accurate but even if it wasn’t, it’s not like all these games have been accurate in its setting. And in the games defense, if you dislike it cuz it’s “woke” then I can’t take you seriously. Judge based off the story, don’t play count the minority. I’m sick of it. Other than that, the story is somewhat cool but I can’t help but dislike the game because it doesn’t fully pull me in. I also think the camera work is a disaster and climbing can be rough. This also has similar issues to the other RPGs and Mirage. And if you’ve seen my ratings you would probably be able to guess that this I’m not a fan at all. The story is also just wonky in general and the ending is horrible. The writing is even bad for Ubisoft’s standards Overall, this is better than the disasters that are odyssey and Valhalla but it’s still bad especially for a setting like this.

It’s fine overall and definitely one of the better installments of AC for quite some time. However, this has a lot of problems like the recent ones. The parkour while improved here feels off and in general the story feels very copy cat to AC1. Basim isn’t that interesting of a character either.

To an extent this game is overhated and I don’t think it’s as bad as a lot of people say it is. I do have problems mainly with the assassin, Connor Kenway as he’s underdeveloped and is a bit dull of a character. This game would have worked better if it was just a Haytham Kenway story. Plus, if you wanna argue it’s bad, look at the games after Black Flag, it gets way worse

Forgettable villain but that’s kinda the only issue with this. The story is probably the best in the series with Ezio learning about Altair.

It feels like a DLC to AC 2. Villain is kinda flat in general but it’s a short solid story

This is genuinely one of my favorite video games of all time. I guess you can pinpoint the fact the final fight boss can be underwhelming. However, I’ve never seen this game or franchise being very boss fight like if that makes sense. Pretty much the perfect AC game This is a long story in the sense it takes 20 years. Ezio has an incredible transformation and arc. Gameplay is also really great even if it’s quite old school like.

Some aspects of the gameplay can be quite questionable in the sense that I feel like this is something that would be made in 2001 with how repetitive the mission structure is. But it was made in 2007. However, the story is pretty engaging and interesting to follow. Altair starts out arrogant and progresses to a mature individual. It’s quite satisfying of an arc and he’s one of the greatest AC characters. The graphics have also aged pretty well for a game made in 2007.
