Absolutely phenomenal. I don't post reviews on this site anymore but I had to return for this. 20 hours in and it is among the best games I've played this generation so far, I don't even like turn based games all that much. This is Soulsekiro TBS.

Phenomenonal. After 140 hours I beat it and I assume 90% of side content done to boot, it's just brilliant. Not my favourite Soulsbornekiro game but definitely my favourite game in the two years and one of my favourite of all time. Not without flaws but they can easily be ignored.

Absolutely fantastic and one of the best games ever, definetly the best Souls game but perhaps not the best Soulsbourne game, I'll have to replay Bloosbourne and Sekiro after this to evaluate that. I've been playing it fairly slow compared to others, it seems at 60 hours +7 on launch night before I re rolled my build. I want to savour it and I hope it never ends and by the looks of the full map that people keep spoiling on social media I'm less than half way through the game and even now I feel it is gigantic It never feels empty and every discovery is am organic, rewarding moment. It's still Souls combat with a tad more fluidity and the graphics aren't Sony level but in HDR it looks as pretty as Ghost of Tsushima at times. ....Agh, people on here have said it a million times. This game is the rare 10/10 that could be scored 11/10 and it'd still make sense. I know it's a game I'll play annually or every few year, for many years to come.

I can't give it more than a 5 atm, it's absolutely amazing. The game is phenomenal but even on PRO it's unfinished and Janky. I might review it in a few months after fixes cause I'm B lining the story right now as anything else is janly and broken. 1.04 helped a lot but it still needs a lot more work. If this was an average to decent game, it's not causebit's absolutely amazing, I'd be give it a very low number, possibly 3 or maybe even 2 it's that janky. Also, CDPR went out of their way to hide this and tricked millions of people into buying this trash day one when by holding back reviewer footage and that is not acceptable. They lost all the good will they had from me and cahsed it in to sell this game. CDPR became Bethesda overnight. 0/10 in that regard.

I'm finding it rather fun on Permadeath, hardmode. I'd really not recommend this game if you are looking for anything other than a sandbox to play around with this whole NPC recruitment sim deal cause much of the game, such as the story, city, objectives, most missions (some are really great) are fairly bland to sometimes bad. However, if you are looking for an Xcom lite in an open world third person and you can ignore most else, using the world and story as reasons to play around in a digital sandbox and want the risk of permadeath to mould the way you play and use all systems available then you'll have great fun but there is one more catch, it takes some progression into the story before Permadeath kicks in and you might be put off early on, I'd say stick with it if you've already bought it. However, if I could, I would have waited for a sale, It's an Ubisoft game and there is a lot of jank with massive shortfalls in TLC and polish as well as bonkers about of tiny busy work that means **** all more than collectables in any other AAA game. This isn't a handcrafted game, you can feel the lack of passion and the politics seeping though from the developers is questionable, almost like Antifa made this game (and yes, i know that's the theme but it cuts deeper than that, too much of it it is on the nose and agenda pushy. I'll give it a 7 but it barely scraps by and that is only because I went in with the sole intent of only focusing on the sim aspect and permadeath while consciously making the decision to play the story while podcasting or watching youtube/netflix. If I was playing this game ignoring permadeath and were looking for a good story, good characters and enjoyable interesting missions that didn't rely on me making my own fun then I couldn't see myself giving it more than a 5. I'll give it a 7 though because they have focused on allowing me to make my own fun in the game and it works really well, It would have benefited them if they had made that clear to all players and pulled back from trying to force the player to play a certain way through the tutorials and endless on screen prompts, HUD elements and so on. This game could have been something really special had they just went full on immersive sim and dialed back everything else but I suppose they'd loose the casuals, it seems like a corporate decision and they messed up.

This + PSVR is just great. I'm not going to comment on playing this game without VR aside from it being fairly bland and probably at best a 6 but when you get that headset on and get in the game, even the lackluster campaign that feels like a bad Disney film is raised above the sum of it's parts, it's fun regardless of the objectives and even more so when you up the difficulty to Veteran and turn of the UI so you can only use instruments on your ships dash. Same for the Multiplayer, it's just plain fun and add addicting ontop of that. If you're buying this for the TV or don't have VR, STOP. Save your money (maybe put it towards a VR headset fund) and back away. If you have a VR headset, this is a must play and just skip the exposition with the button prompts, use the campaign as a sort of multiplayer tutorial and then get stuck in when the campaign tutorials stop showing up but even with that said, you'll want to return to the campaign for some odd reason and role play as one of the space pilots. Just forget the weak Disney crap and make your own story. Reviewed on 10 campaign missions (i believe I have 3 left) and about 6 hours multiplayer in the PSVR headset with about an hour on both the campaign and MP on a 4k, HDR TV screen. All on PRO.

Mortal Shell8
Aug 23, 2020
I'm loving the game, 12 hours in with all weapons gained, all shells found and two maxed and two dungeons cleared with the bosses whipped but my biggest complaint of this game, among a few smaller ones, is that hub area is **** horribly designed for navigation. Maybe they done it on purpose to justify the senses and the souls feel but whatever the reason it's atrocious and needs to be rectified, just a few more memorable objects in the paths between the few that are memorable and some clever splashing of minor colour and i'd up this game to a 9/10, right now it's an 8. It shouldn't take 10+ hours to map such a small area fully in memory, that said I know it like the back of my hand now. Pros - Amazing combat Limited ability to OP yourself Timer on healing items to limit farming, also are heal over time Dungeons are incredible, one is a bit short but still really satisfying It looks pretty good Half the price of a triple A but feels triple A Bosses are great and Three of the shells are exactly the I'd builds I'd make in souls There is an OP option for those who need it but it isn't right up front and requires work Cons Hub area is maze like trash, had to check a guide at times just to navigate early on Fours classes, fours weapons (not a harsh downer) You can roll past normal trash enemies way too easily, there is little penalty for dying if at any at all You can pick the wrong boss (or maybe just one) and get stuck in with it with no chance to upgrade It's relatively short (But as long as some exclusive or FPS single player campaigns) I can see it being extremely difficult for players who OP there way through souls games

It's bloody difficult and I mean difficult however it's fair apart from some questionable RNG at times. I'd say it's a buy if you don't mind a challenge, stay clear if you can't stand frustration yet if you have the money to burn or there is a sale, i'd say try it regardless cause it's fun and rewarding and extremely well built with a great art style and feel.

Absolutely brilliant with the only con being the camera which takes time to master. That is all I'll say as the list of cons are easily overshadowed and the pro's are all in that wording of absolutely brilliant. 60 hours in and i can't stop playing. Top tier stuff all around. I can't believe the journalists were wrong again after just screwing up TLOU2, which was a 6 in my book but i gave it a 7 because of technical quality. Never will I listen to these hacks again, this is not generic. Sound = 10. Graphics = 10. Story = 8. Gameplay = 10. Combat = 10. Performance = 10. 20+ hours in. Playing on Ps4 Pro at 1800p in HDR with a headset. The game is just absolutely, fantastically brilliant.

The Last of Us Part II7
Jul 4, 2020
Finished it and there is great, good, bad and absolutely terrible aspects. It's cobbled together like it was done by three different people and they never got to meet each other until the printing of the disc. It subverts expectation for the sake of it and the new main characters are weak as a B teir sci fi films background characters and while their at it have some of the worst and out of place dialouge in gaming as if written by an angsty teen girl for a school essay. It doesn't stop there, the pacing is destroyed by the games otherwise amazing design (in levels and comat areas) and to offset this they add character switching yet this makes it worse because when your switching from character to character to flash back to "main" game and that main game switches from open areas to long linear areas to a mix of both and back and forth you loose all investment and your time spent feels like it's getting the middle finger. Horrible choices in the way it's all constructed, just horrid. I could go on with how bad the this story is and how badly it foes a diservice to the girst game and the fans but it's been said about twenty five thousand times in these reviews in twenty five thousand different ways all with a red number but I'll say one morr thing, this game has thee worst pacing in both story and progreasion I think I've ever experienced in a game, that mid game progression break is just bonkers. It's not all bad though, this game is near second to none in graphics on console or PC (barring RTX mods), a few stand up to it like RDR2 but that had a budget and dev team larger than God could provide. Ps4 Pro resolution is good only marred by a film grain effect that can be a bit jarring and HDR is well implemented. The Pro doesn't get too loud either, albiet a few moments in intense action does so. Animations are by far unmatched even compared to RDR2 and it keeps it's game speed here without being sluggish or actions taking a day and on that note the actions are amazing, the fluid combat and human enemy encounters are some of the best in gaming, I can't get over how good they and how boring old third person stealth games have actually become fun games comat wise and not only that but brilliant. There is some frame pacing issues and the FPS is pretty weak even for 30, Ai on my TV settings smoothed it out but the frame pacing continued. Gameplay moment to moment is pretty good (bar that awful pacing) but when you are looting and shooting and climbing and jumping it's a fun loop but again... pacing...horrid. Weapons and tools are fun and exploration is highly rewarding leading back into this which in turn makes the combat more fun, a masterwork in this regard but... pacing. The combat does vary from encounter to encounter and some are very bad while the human Ai does start to show it'a not all that great after a few encounters in. Sound is incredible and it's got that amazing 3D audio design that needs to be in more games, a headset is highly recommended. Voice acting ranges from oscar worthy to B film to phoned in depending on the character or if it's a cutscene or character banter. 7/10 over all. 5 for the story. 8 for the game if you ignore the story. I really wanna give it a 6 or 3 out of 5 stars but there is something about the quality here that helps it edge to a 7 yet I gave up caring about the story and tried my best to not question it after the half way point.

Jun 12, 2020
A highly underrated game, thee best VR survival horror as long as you don't count Re7 and among the best VR games even before it's unrivalled polish and use of VR to make something so fun. Every kill feels visceral and doesn't seem to get old and every looting run feels immensely rewarding. It's so far beyond what I was expecting and it may not deserve a full ten but in my book it's closer to ten than to nine. VR now has another genre in which there is the best in genre and this is it for Zombie games like Catch & Release was it for Fishing, Creed was it for boxing, Beatsaber for rhythm games, Blasters of the universe for bullet hells, Astrobot was the case for 3d platformers and wipeout VR was so for arcade racing.

A step down from REmake 2. Slightly unsatisfactory at almost all points of level deisgn and progression. Not even half the game Remake 2 was. Obvious lack of TLC by the developers and quite possibly rushed. Yet, even with all that it somehow manages to be fun at it's core gameplay and you can't take that away from it. If you havn't played REmake 2 and have no expectations your milage may vary but on the back of last years remake, this is a slap in the face. If you have played REmake 2, wait for a sale and lower your expectations dramatically.

It's good. It's really, really good. Can't stand the platforming but the game is like Doom 1993 had sex with Doom 2016 and this is the result. Bethesda actually done some good except for that god awful online system requiring an account on Ps4 and is just utterly shoddy and the story is utterly pointless and disjointed. The level design is in a range of absolutely fantastic to what the **** is this. Music is fantastic. Graphics are decent and it runs so, so well. Ai is some of the best ever in a video game.

Yeah, i can't do this anymore. I loved Nioh, love souls games and beaten the nine, I've played except for Dark Souls 2. This is another Dark souls 2, they took the difficulty to far it looses the fun factor but not only that, it's often cheap. The systems are a bit over involved and the story is weak but there is a good game under here somewhere, it'll just take the insanely dedicated to find the full breath of it. 12 hours gameplay and i can't find fun past the difficulty but I can respect how well the game is made and how great everything feels. I just can't be bothered inching my way through it. It's hard to score the game as i've not finished it so take it for what it is worth.

Absolutely perfect as a port of a strategy game to console and the game itself is a winner, just like Theme hospital in the 90's this is the best business management sim on the market and for me personally, simply the best Sim. It fulfils everything I need in a title such as this but your millage may vary depending on what you enjoy in your sims, the aesthetic and the hospital setting. Watch some Let's plays before you buy this, maybe a speed run or two and if you like what you see you will like the game, it's so solidly crafted.

Edit: After spending my Sunday morning playing this on apocalytic and adjusting controls from the options I'm upping this to an 8 with an astrix that the controls menu should be vistited every now and then during play. I'd even say they should prompt the options menu after certain unlocks. It's pretty good. It's no Alienation or Diablo in terms of the fun factor immersion but stands with them in polish and lands somewhere inbetween in feel and structure. Normal is a tad to easy so I've been playing single player on Hard and not needed to grind earlier levels or drop difficulty until the third last level but instead I just dropped difficulty as the game has dragged a slight bit. If you do intend on hard or Mayham and can't keep up, there is a fantastic Arena for grinding and a fun part of the game itself and worth a once through at least as they unlock. Story is as dull and forgettable as all most DS games and presentation is much the same too, however there are some annoying choice in sound design that are quite headache inducing, especially is some areas where VA has a seriously over used echo effect. Feels lile they are covering bad VA more than adding the effect for lore. Some of the dialouge is eye rollingly cringey and not much homour lands or even tries to really land, it's all very childish and doesn't fit in the setting at all. Strife is nothing more than, that Comic relief guy in Destiny cutscenes. The side stuff and progression is extremely engaging and I'm actually enthused to go back and on apocalyptic difficulty and clean up SOME trophies yet I know I won't be Platinuming as I've mentioned the game starts to drag before it ends but that is a good thing of itself as the game peaks high and burns out just in time. I wasn't expecting diablo playtimes going in and I got what I wanted. The isometric view with some of the games mechanics is easily it's weakest part and goes beyond frustration in some areas, leaving a wonder why they just wouldn't cut that faff if they couldn't make it work more effectively. Climbing, throwing bombs and anything that requires depth perception is cruelly unfair and horrid to play, even more so when it has a timer. Very close to being a 9 and reaching the heights of Alienation or other refined, smaller scale diablo esque games but it sumbles in too many areas and fails at some of what it tries to implement to set itself apart. Still, a solid fun 7 and if you have more patience and a head for climbing, platforming and other precision activities in the isometric perspective, perhaps an 8. I however, can not let that slide.

Majour improvement over the Beta and it all came together in the end. I've only a few complaints but the main being, it needs a PSVR interface in creation and more space allocation. I expect this game to grow to a 10 very quickly. It's what I always imaged LPB was trying to be.

It's good for what it is. It is so vastly overrated by critics though and the "humour" wears of after the first half hour. They could have done so much more with this but the puzzles tend to just become a to do list of luck based fetch quests. Regardless it is quite enjoyable for what it is at the end of the day. I'd have been more favourable towards it had the price been lower and more inline with lower end, artsy games, 9.99 would have been perfect. It could be a solid 7 had the puzzles been less RNG based.

Played all night on release, cleared my day friday and went on good stretchs all week to the early hours of the mornings, 60 hours in and it's absolutely incredible. I'm bleary eye and sore from sitting but it was worth every second and no regrets. Addicting at its core with an amazing Story to photo realistic graphics on PRO. The world building is the most unique and interesting thing to be added to the video game medium in years. Hell, so many things are unique here. I ask myself at times "what the hell am I playing" and I don't know the answer at times but I am well and truly addicted to it. The production is perfect, the pacing is exceptional and while there is frustration to be had it is minor. I don't want to get into the "boring gameplay" argument cause that is subjective, camping in CoD is one mans idea of fun gameplay for example but the goals and objectives set out here are fun, extremely fun and unique in fact. I spent 4 hours helping build a road I probably will never use again for main missions. 10 Kojimas out of 10 Kojimas. It's now in my top 10 games ever.

Absolutely fantastic. Better than stormblood and on par with HW. Some classes have gotten stripped of complexity while others have been near perfected. This and the lack of an option to skip the tired old fetch quests is my only complaint. C'mon. We've surveyed, grabbed 3 items, cured the 3 sick people, delivered 3 items etc enough. Just give me the excellent story and the odd solo instance with the incredible dungeons and trials and let me cut out the busy work inbetween. I can not believe I'm rating a game worse than I did, Fallout 76. What is this **** How could you **** up something that was so good and falsely market this. It's not a modern Wolfenstien game folks, it wants to be a co-op destiny but where Destiny has tight fun gunplay they have screwed over even that here. Somehow worse than TNO and TNC. I was skeptical of the 40 euro price tag but I couldn't have seen this coming, absolutely the eorst game of 2019 and 2018, Hell maybe the worst game of the Gen so far. That is saying something and the characters, good lord they are mind numbingly annoying and I didn't exactly like BJ in the last two mainlines, his constant mumbling was off putting but this is full obnoxious and meaningless. It's cringey. The game is cringey, bland and often terrible. Bethesda games are dead. I'm weary of Doom enternal now. They seem intent on destroying all their IP. And on that note, how are critics giving 5his anywhere higher than a 5? Games media is sinking itself with bethesda and these games publishers who seem intent on creating another video games crash. I'm not not one for voting with zeros unless a game is entirely broken and unplayable like BravoTeam On PSVR but this is the closest to a zero I think I've ever given a working game. Do not buy.

Trover Saves the Universe8
Jun 5, 2019
Surprisingly good in VR and well priced for it's lenght and content. I can't recommend it as an 8 if buying it flat as VR brings a layer of extra fun to it (perhaps a 7 at most). It's a surprisingly great platformer, a decent story, hit or miss funny but what does hit is hilarious and has great production value. A few cons are the incessant ranting (good lord give some down time, it's headache inducing) which can cause an illusion of pacing issues and possibly a headache. Comedy is hit or miss and sometimes it misses so bad it can be cringey. The 3d effect isn't all that great at a distance. The creator can't do enough variety to voice all characters, he really should have let a few other people take the rolls of some of these characters. All these are minor though and the game is slightly leaning on the side of great. Proper fun in VR.

Absolutely phenomenal. I've never felt this good and badass playing a video game before. That Spider man meem from journos, "It really makes you feel like..." is actually true here, this really makes you feel like a soldier/Gansta/bad ass with a gun. Might just be my favourite VR game that doesn't have light sabers. This game is the Astro bot of the FPS genre and although it is on rails to a degree always feela like you are in control. Tracking is flawless. Control is tight and responimsive. Everything is top tier from the graphics to the sound design to VA to the level design and pacing. Near perfect on many fronts. Buy it, it's a must play.

Just fantastic all around and like Catch and release even though limited in scope has become the best in it's genre for me. I'm only going to mention three cons because it sucessfully implements everything else it promised and does it in such a polished way, great balance of realism and arcade gameplay. The gameplay is top notch and it's core, progression is balanced and enjoyable, physics engine is top tier, tracking is flawless, the mini caddie events make great use of the medium, caddies are actually really helpful and provide a sense of company. The three courses are plenty with varied holes and well crafted. Con: No Multiplayer. No AI opponents. No mute funtion on caddies.

A Plague Tale: Innocence8
May 22, 2019
That was pretty damn good and going to be a nice Platinum. It has a few small flaws and would benifet from some more varied gameplay and level design but overall it's a great game. Pros: It looks fantastic, esspecially on a PRO with HDR. The audio design is top notch and both French and english are great. Story is interesting and the atmosphere is thick. Progression is largely enjoyable if you get past the uninterestig gameplay. It is incredibly authentic and doesn't mess with that for social brownie points. Collectibles are interesting and entertaining and perhaps the best i've seen in a linear game, really makes you want to explore. Chapter select! Yes, something linear games often forget these day, I'm looking at you hellblade. Great moments and story beats along with nice little diversions that may not be found if B lining it. Cons: Uninteresting gameplay. AI are idiots. Stealth is weak. Puzzles are childsplay. No FOV slider. Camera is tied to movement when in motion making it impossible to survey your surroundings and enjoy the graphics unless you stand still. Mild shadow and texture pop in, worsened ehen not playing in HDR. Babysitting can get quite cumbersome when trying to explore.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy9
May 8, 2019
The first game was worth the 30 euro price tag alone but to have all three is just amazing. I'm into thr third game and liekly have had 40 hours of just a great time. It's simple enough to not be a headache and just complicated enough that you need to pay atrention to the details. The writing is fantastic. The sound and music is phenomenal. The graphics are serviceable to begin with and often have some nice art in rare places. Text upscales to 4k very well and honestly one would have to look within two feet or so to notice that it is not really 4k dispite the scale. My only critism worth mentioning beside individual critique of certain cases is the options and in particular the skip text option, the normal skip will have you pressing multiple times and often hammering X, the skip box is the box is the best option but you will likely skip pargraphs by accent. There should be a reverse text button at all times as there is with witness testimonies. Other than that some parts of the games can drag but this is only an issue because it is 3 games in one and each game is perfectly sized. Content is never a bad thing. A really well done port if jist a tad finicky and three great games (As far as I can see with three episodes left). In fact, the games get better as they go on with new mechanics opeing up greater depth. A real gem.

Days Gone8

[22-24 hours, Hard mode] I think it is a solid 7 at the absolute least but I'm edging to 8. I think it would benifet greatly if they fix the minor (greatly exaggerated by reviewers) technial issues like pop in, some minor stutter and frame jolts in the second area of the game among a few other nitpicks like increasing fuel usage early on and adding varied aiming settings for ranged weapons. It could get to a 9 if resolved. I can't recommend it at full price but the first price drop, I say jump on it fast and hard. It's one of those games that people will be buying and making threads on for months to come wondering where the reviewers who posted 5/10 or less, minds were at or even 6's which are ridiculous scores for this game. I'm just entered the last area of the game, I think and the map is huge, I also noticed that many of the reviews that I read didn't mention this area (It is very notable for reasons i won't spoil) which is completely gated off until a certain point, well into the story and so to on the map. I think the hoards are great, although they are such a challenge on hard mode that I am left thinking if I should just lower the difficulty to normal for them at least and switch back to hard for the rest of the game, a tough decision to make. They are massive, fluid and very, very dynamic so much so that each encounter is dramatically differnet and I love how Bend have filled the environment around them with oppertunities to cause utter mayham (at leat the two I have encountered) it is a beautiful thing and so much fun, even while dying so many times it shows just how different each approach can be and besides for some frame jolts (like a half second pause, not a stutter or feame drop) everynow and then but very rarely it is near flawless. The other performance issues like pop in or texture dropping don't increase with hoards nor is there any noticable frame pacing, in fact I think it is smoother than some of the some other intense instances of play, bar that pause that is few and far between. I'm playing on pro, at 4k in HDR on a 47 inch (or 49 maybe) It is a beautiful game, stunning at times but oddly inconsistant throughout the world and between some cutscenes and sone others there is an inconsistent feel, a lot of this, I have noticed can be put down to the dynamic lighting as returning to some area can drastically change how things look, even the textures can be greatly enhanced in some cases particularly high noon and the golden hours at dawn and dusk. Shadows really pop and create a painting like scene at these times. However, that isn't to say the game looks bad in other instances like a storm in a forested area can look amazing, rain streaming down while the trees sway is an atmospheric treat that reminds me of Tw3 with greatly increased fidelity to real forests. All in all, it reminds me a lot of RdR2 and it's visuals, with greater detail but much more inconsistency and some flaws like far off pop in of assets and texture loading issues pretty close up. These can be fixed and it's not anything heavier than God of wars massive load times and fram pacing at launch or The wither 3's technical issue's infact a lot less than the latter. The game ozzes atmosphere at almost every turn and it really hits you hard while exploring, it can go from sunny and warm, with happiness on top to cold, damp with a feeling of dread in seconds and that is just a damn treat. Sound is an odd one, it is great at times and horrible at others. The main character is absolutely fantastic and so is some of the supporting cast but this is brought down by techinal issues where audio overlaps or audio levels are different. This is easily fixed by adjusting settings on your TV and in game besides for the odd overlap of audio logs with a radion station or walky talky call when playing on a non speaker supporting controller or with headphones in. One thing that is fantastic though is the audio logs that play front the speaker if you are using a Ds4 with no headphones they are a really good use of that speaker and on top they are very well done and interesting. Something that is not a good use is the touch pad, it is needless and pointlessly added to menus but buttons can also be used so perhaps a non issue unless you are unfamiliar with Ds4 or trying to play passively with one hand which will often give you menu prompts. And for that matter control in game is great (can be an issue to begin with) once you get used to it on the bike, the melee combat, the general camera are all smooth and great apart from gun aiming which takes a a great deal of time to master but does get better with certain weapon choices and configurations. The story presentation is the majour point of negative issue with the game, seems like they want to tag

Abdolutely fantastic and probably the best 2d sidescrolling platformer with this style of fast paced combat ever created and not to spoil anything but it opens up into something that is even more wonderful than before when you think it is just about getting a little samey. I am knocking it down to a 9/10 for very small reasons, it edged just shy of a ten because of the late game exploration can get confusing, most of the collectible coins are ridiculously well hidden which require an online guide and while I havn't finsihed yet, I am very close, I would have prefered had they tightened things up late game an wound that stuff into mid game instead or a seperate mode from the menu instead of continued linearity, maybe a NG+ type deal as there was a point there where the game felt perfect and complete and you'll know it when you see it. Not much else to say on this but that if you love fast paced, skill based side scrollers you will love this. It's to Ninja gaiden what Shovel knight was to Mega man and other games like it. Top notch stuff.

Mortal Kombat 115

What the hell is going on with the media review score? Have the reviewers only played the game for an hour to check the core mechanics and assume everything else is just as good? It is a mobile game for AAA full price and gets worse and worse the longer it plays out. I deliberated on giving this a 4, even a 3 but because the core gameplay is so good and the production value is very well done (esspecially on pro) I will give it the highest 5 I can but man I am thourally pissed off. Take your politics elsewhere, take your Muslim woman covering **** to the middle east where it belongs and for the love of God, don't sell me a mobile game for AAA price, no matter how pretty you make it. Done with this studio, just found out that this was WarnerBrothers and pissed I gave them money after the crap that was Shadow of war. I'll be more weary and both publisher and developer can count me out of future games. Mortal kombat was supposed to be a series you didn't have to check reviews for, somethig I didn't think I would be learning was butchered slowly while it was already in developmemt with shoddy reasonig.

This is a placeholder review and I'll update as I sink more hours into the game. Five to six hours in and it is just incredible so far. It oozes atmosphere all over, sounds great and looks up there wirh the best of games on PRO, qlmost looks 4k 60fps, almost. The game is less difficult and less punishing in some ways to souls but miles and miles more difficult in other ways, the ways that count like combat and Boss fight, you can't cheese things here or pwerlevel your way through and on top there is no back up online, it reminds me of playing Dark souls one again and not having any idea what is coming, constantly keeping me on edge and a style of play more conservative than I have in as long as I can remember playing DS. The comparisons to DS stop fairly early on though, it's mostly surface stuff here as the game has more in common with Ps2 era Ninja games, one in particular being Tenchu, it screams nostalgia but holds it's own and blends in DS to perfection. I'd recommend playing in the default Japanese as the dub feels a lot less refined but you can still play in English if you choose. I'm currently so happy with this game thst it's a ten for me and worth the asking price for the time I have spent, I do wish Activison weren't involved however but hopefully this will provide success and take them away from their horrible misteps in the industry. Will update as I beat out more bosses. Tl;Dr. Looks, sounds and plays grwat, a game of the year contendor no doubt.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown8

Bought it for the VR mode which is stellar and finished the tradional campaign over the course of a few weeks, one mission at a time which wad much better than I expected. Probably the best flight game I've ever played only held back by some outdated mission structure, grinding for planes after completion of the game and failure states that are annoying. I still find myself going back to play the missions on Ace, the highest difficulty and am infact enjoying them with new unlocked weaponry. An extremely surprising title in its quality and fun factor.

A solid and enjoyable game with many flaws, if you love Metro or other single player survival shooters you will love this on it's higher difficulties. It suffers in some areas such as VA and some input lag but makes up for its flaws in spades with the tense gameplay and fantastic world. It's a game you'll enjoy just din't ecpect to be blown away or experience anything revolutionary.

Completely average in every possible way. I'd recommend saving your money and sticking to an older title that still has a player base, plenty of Black friday deals I'd reckon. This is not Battlefield anymore, it's a reskinned Battlefront but some how a less fun game. Even COD is better than this game. Hell overwatch is more fun. Wait for sale or buy something else that is reviewed better.

2 is the absolute most I can give it, I tried to justify a 3 but that would but it on par with No mans sky at release and it's no where near as good as no mans sky at release. I really hope bethesda can rectify all they are doing to destroy their franchises, this is utter trash for 2016 and would be better served as a free or at least cheap update to fallout 4. Bethesda need to change their engine, ASAP and perhaps move some of their more tired staff to B projects. I will not buy a single bethesda RPG again until they bring themselves into this decade. This game might have been a 5 in 2008 but 2 is the highest I can rate it in 2018. I'm massively disappointed and hugely embarrassed for Bethesda.

Best version of Tetris ever created and an amaxing experience in VR akin to thumper and REZ infinite. You enter a zen state that is almost opiate like. Everything is top notch aside from the high price but I don't regret a single cent, it's just so damn addicting, chill and at times heart pumping. If you like Tetris or liked REZ/Thumper this is a must buy if you don't mind the price.

I'm only ten hours in but it's sooo good. I just wanted to leave this comment saying to ignore the red and zero user reviews as it's mostly the outrage police over the supposed working conditions and PC gamers pissed off they are yet another masterpiece short, same as Spider-man and GoW. In fact, Ignore all these reviews, anyone reviewing now surely can't have but anymore than 12 hours at most and that is barely just the surface. I'll update his when I've put in enough time to formulate a solid opinion. So far, it's is staggeringly well made and already feels like it's going to be an addiction. Everything seems to be masterclass.

A deeply flawed game that is somehow compelling enough to keep you strolling on through it's horribly slow pace. Don't believe the people who say this is a masterpiece or an incredible metroid vania. It is a good game, a fairly average side scroller anda decent metroid vania. It's held back by it's rythym combat, it's trial and error bosses that tip the balance with player skill failing the balance, it's god awful slowness the first few hours, the developers cheap way to extend gameplay and avoid having to animate a good chunk of enemies by implementing contact damage to all enemies among many other things. I hope you, like me, do not get drawn in by the near universal praise. There are so many other Medroid-vanias this year on PS4 and switch that deserve higher praise than this. It's a good game, nothing more. If you want a much better game than this with the same artstyle and Metroid-vania base try Dust and elysian tail or Ori and the blindforest on PC.

Marvel's Spider-Man10

It's extremely enjoyable game and the best Spiderman yet by far. The only complaint I have is the outdated open world, map towers and a bit **** camera in combat. Everything else is at least decent to very good with the odd few aspects being amazing like the traversal and the combat at it's core. Story is damn good and pacing is fanrastic, it allows you to experience Peter parker and Spider-man like no super hero game has done before, including the Arkham series with Batman. Anyway, 9/10 but I'll rate 10 to counter the trolls doing 0's.

Wow, just absolutely Wow. I'm only ten hours into act 2 with a 60 hour save and I'm minblown, it's as close to perfection as I've ever seen a game. I have little to critque that isn't nitpicking. I's give this an eleven out of ten if I could, it's the best RPG I've ever played and perhaps the best game of ever played even beating the witcher. Every aspect of this game ozzes perfect from sound, the writing and voice acting, turn based combat, the visuals, the insane depth of choice...I could go on, there is no aspect of this game that dips below anything less tha great. I absolutely love it and it was well worth the wait for the definitve edition.

Dark Souls Remastered3
Jul 1, 2018
I would give this a 7, maybe even an 8 or a 9 if everything was done well and PVP worked but as the developers need to get the message that a "remaster" of this poor quality is unacceptable, especially at this price point when we are getting remasters like Crash and spyro TRILOGIES for cheaper or the fantastic Shadow of the collosus which are remastered properly and now just graphical updates but game changing improvements over the originals. I don't expect Darksouls to be done that well but I do expect it to be above a noticeable level, particularly so I don't notice the flaws with any glitches or broken aspects from the base game to be fixed. It also goes beyond just a poor overhaul but certain things simply being broken now, such as PvP which is unbalanced, unfair and being taken advantage of in the worst of ways. Very little is done, even on the surface to warrant the price here and DS fix was a much better option for free on PC. Here on console this is simply a HD port with little done to fix bugs, revamp areas or rework some of the poor aspects of the game. There is many quality of life things that could have been added from DS3 that feel odd to have been left out at this price point. If you can find a PC code for the original just buy that and download DS fix, modders done it better for free. It pretty fun and some nice nostalgia until the longer you play and you realize just how little has been done, how bad some of the mid game to late game areas are compared to souls standards since BB/DS3 and just how ridiculously broken PVP is. If Demon souls is up for a remaster which I'm sure it will be, then the devs need to get the message that they must do better, please don't reward this laziness.

Don't listen to these reviewers who are bombing it.Some seem to be doing it simply because of recent affairs with Cage, Qauntic and the domestic abuse debate, either that or they are incompetent reviewers because their written reviews do not reflect the game nor do their score match their written reviews. If you see anything less than a 6 ignore it, I'd personally give this an 85/100 but a 10 on here to counteract the trolls as usual. The game has already payed of for the prices, I'm 4-5 hours plus an hour or two in extra content and I'm SLOOOOWLY playing, this is better than heavy rain, cages best writing yet even though still tad short of being great writing. It ticks every box for the genre, adds more to it and then wraps it up in an extremely pretty package. It's the first game like this since HR that I've wanted to explore everything, read everything and slowly stroll through the enviroments. It's also the first game to give me agency in a way that I can roleplay. Even, Chloe the menu bot which I had a 1 hour staring at her micro expressions and as you can clearly see they designed her to animate like a robot in some places other aspects are more human than anything I've seen in gaming. Oh and the extras in this game are among the best collectibles I've seen in a game. I was very iffy on buying into this as these types of games have worn me out but this title has rejuvinated my love for the genre or at least is giving me a boost in the same way Until dawn did, after so many bland tell tale games. If you liked until dawn, Indigo prophecy or heavy rain, you'll like this. Even Tell talers or fans of the life is strange will be blown away by this. Highly recommend.

Don't let the look of it fool you this is not a gallery shooter, it's on par with games like NexMachina and the top tier bullet hell games but it's in VR. I think it might be the best tracking currently on PSVR, litterally no issue even when positioning the moves over the the headset. It's a standing game and fairly active so that should be taken into account, it got sweaty for me and had to pause and my face a few times but the was easily over ridden by a desire to keep playing. Weapon modding is a thing too and from the looks of it every aspect of the, i think 7 guns, can be mixed and matched with a **** ton of different ammo, mods, aiming devices and sheilds. The "production value" is incredible, can't believe this released at the price it did, everything feels solid AF and the graphics and 3d effect are top tier. It'll largely come down to whether or not you're willing to do the standing and weaving which can get really hectic even on casual. EDIT after 8-10 hours of gameplay: This has topped rush of blood and any other game of these genres in VR, perhaps even outside of VR, I haven't had this much pure clean fun in a game in years. Absolutely the most under rated game to release this year.

There's not much to say besides this is a fantastic game and it's a must have VR title. All boxes are checked in my book. Gameplay, puzzles, world, graphics, art direction, music and VO even to the general ambiance if incredible. The only down side is there is little depth to combat even though it can get challenging at points and the game overall is fairly short but on the up side, You'll want to play it more than once and the platinum looks very tasty indeed. I'll give it a 10 cause I see some bombing going on but in reality I'd reckon it's a 8 outta 10.
