What Airship Syndicate have done is show the world that the Darksiders IP is more than a one-trick pony, and for those who’ve not been tempted by the core franchise entries up until this point, there is now a very different sample of the IP with which to taste.

Jogo divertido. mas acho que fica mais legal jogando com um coop . Joguei ele todo com meu amigo. E ele nem conhecia os jogos da franquia. Gostou tanto que em um dia comprou os 3 jogos anteriores. Mas não vou mentir, em alguma momentos da um pouco de sono, o jogo da muito espaço para a gente ficar andando atoa em um mapa vazio.
E sofri com algumas quedas de servidores , o que é chato , já que para seu amigo entrar novamente na partida você tem que estar próximo a uma pedra de invocação , se ele ou você cai no final do mapa ..... azar o seu .... você vai ter que voltar para a pedra mais próxima. Mas ele vale a pena para jogar com o seu duo ... e bem bacana. Gráficos bacanas. Jogabilidade boa Personagens carismáticos Batalhas na medida certa Arena muito divertida para upar e aprender uns combos que possa serem feitos.

Just a filler before the grand finale. This game was clearly made to calm down the fans, who were waiting for the long waited Darksiders 4. Game is not terrible, yet nothing special. Alternative story trying to fill some holes. Nothing impressive or enjoyable. I liked the combo War-Strife, but at some point Strife's ghetto language was too much and clearly overdosed. I give it 5of 10 just because it's Darksiders, and Darksiders is my personal gem.

There are many things that I wish Airship Syndicate would have done differently, but Darksiders: Genesis is definitely a title worth picking up. It's no Darksiders 4 and lacks the polish of any of the previous Darksiders games, but it's got the flavor, the pace and the combat mechanics that made the franchise popular among gamers. There's a compelling story underneath all the hacking and slashing, with interesting characters and extremely well-done level design. The puzzles are very clever, something that I would expect from a Darksiders game, and there's simply a lot of content to enjoy throughout a nearly 15-hour playthrough.

Oyun,ilk oyunun öncesini yani olayların başlangıcını ele alıyor.Konsey bize özel güç bahşediyor ama bu gücün bir bedeli var.Atlılarımıza kendi ırklarını yok etme emri veriliyor.Dört kardeş bunu yapmak zorunda kalıyor ve ırkın sonunu getiriyorlar. Strife ve War (oynadığımız karakterler) konseyden yeni emir alıyorlar ve oyun başlıyor... Ben oyunu arkadaşım ile oynadım tek kendinizde oynayabilirsiniz artılarını ve eksilerini 2 kişilik oynanışa göre yazıyorum. Artılar: +Aksiyonu çok iyi durmadan,sıkılmadan savaşıyorsunuz, ata binip de deh dıgıdık yapıyorsunuz daha ne olsun. +Grafikleri,mekan tasarımı ve manzara derinliği iyi dizayn edilmiş. +Co-op oynanış sunması çok iyi olmuş, arkadaşınız ile aksiyonu dibine kadar yaşıyorsunuz +Platform ve bulmacalar yerinde olmuş oynarken sıkmıyor,aksine zevk alıyorsunuz. +Karakter geliştirmeleri,Creature Core sistemi(Skill ağacı) başta karışık gelebilir ama sade ve basit, 1-2 core toplayınca anlarsınız. +Sunduklarına göre fiyatının gayet uygun olması. +Karakterlere oynadıkça eklenen silah özellikleri efsane olmuş.Sıkılmadan istediğiniz silaha geçebiliyorsunuz gerçekten çok güzel olmuş.Oyunu bitirene kadar çok fazla özellik ekleniyor. surpasses the mainline games by far. maybe not darksiders 2, but the others it beats easily. this game had me hooked all the way through, played on gamepass for PC, with my RTX 3080, this game ran like a dream and looked amazing in 4k. fluid gameplay, cool move sets, upgrades galore. It perfectly blends dungeon crawling with hack and slash and the horses are cool as fk. BUY IT.

After the less successful Darksiders 3, the franchise seems to have found its way up again. Apart from the sometimes forced humor and clumsy controls, there is little to be said about the spin-off game, which despite the changed camera position will feel familiar to Darksiders fans.

Although the concept of a "Diablo spinoff for the Darksiders series" had the potential to just be a big bowl of wrong, the mad men and women at Airship Syndicate pulled it off.

For those who want to continue knowing the bloody adventures of the four Riders of the Apocalypse, Darksiders Genesis is a must. On the other hand, if you're looking for the usual saga formula, it can be quite disappointing.

Darksiders Genesis is a completely mediocre, somewhat boring game. There is good entertainment for a few hours, but then the variation ends and it becomes very much the same enemies, the same level, the same mission and you do more or less the same thing for the rest of the game.

A great coop game to kill some time. Reminiscent of darksiders one but with extra modern elements and some fun inovative customization and progress. My only regret is that it does not have a "hard mode" and there was little challenge to the game. My father is strugling with it so that might be for the best tho.

"How to convert a good franchise into crap 101".
The camera works awful. The trigger sticks often when it's time to change ammo... The same that happens with Strife's Aether Spark if you spam it right after failing, etc. etc.
Who tested this? Seriously, please, do something else. The world needs professionals in other areas, there are plenty were you could shine... But not testing games, I can tell you that.
