Destiny 2: Warmind5
May 15, 2018
For 20 dollars the value is terrible. You get only 4 story missions, and everyone knows that Destiny writters are really bad, so its no surprise that while exploring Mars, finding Rasputin and Ana Bray is cool, the story is a joke and characters are one dimensional and way underdeveloped. Its also a very short campaign(around 2 hours) Out of these 4 story missions 2 of them are used also as strikes and the only new strike that comes along these two is a ps4 exclusive However Warmind gets you a new Raid Lair, a new Patrol Zone which is stunning and decent sized, new weapons and armor to chase, new exotic quests, new adventures,etc... So to sum up yeah the campaign doesn't justify 20 dollars but the activities you can do after it, the loot you can earn, and the grind itself might if you miss playing destiny. in addition to Warmind, Bungie put out some free updates that make the game feel way better than where it was in September. There is still a long way to go to reach the quality of D1 year 3 but I would say its a good time to hop in a play some Destiny 2 if you miss the gameplay and miss chasing weapons and armor. Its way better than Curse of Osiris DLC, although that is not very hard to achieve. 5/10 Mediocre but fun and if you love Destiny you ll have a good time for 20 bucks during a month or so.

Great game, would recomend, it´s no masterpiece though. Expect to be mindblown by set pieces but not by gameplay. Here is the detailed review: Graphics 8/10. Horizon Zero Dawn graphics are the best on ps4. In this game they are amazing but not mindblowing compared to that. Not to mention some textures are blurry Story 7/10 Fun journey but you are not emotionaly invested as in TLOU for example Combat 8/10. The axe is suuuper fun to use! Sadly The 180 turns due to the shoulder camera feel awkard and it is very reminiscent of dark souls so it kinda has the "been there, done that feel" Ennemies 7/10 Very little variety in ennemies and they are way too hit-spongy. Bosses 5/10 While some of them are interesting and fun, a lot of the minibosses are very repetitive, and are just flat out reskins; blue troll, yelloy troll, red troll,etc... and these have the same pattern atacks. Regarding main bosses, you only fight 3 gods...THREE. There is no "new game plus" mode in the game, which in 2018 it´s a must in single player games to add replayability to the game.

All this people rating this game 10/10 are just people who loved the game and are biased, or just people who don't know or played an actually interesting story and fun open world game. The reality is that while the art is amazing, the soundtrack stellar, and the writing has wtf moments that are really cool... Graphics look old, the world is big but empty and with so much backtracking the game has you doing, it starts to annoy you. You can make a postapocaliptical setting but at least fill it with stuff besides robots and ruins and just two different types of animals. Regarding difficulty there is a huge imbalance in between modes: on easy the game plays for **** normal the game is easy. On hard you are mostly 2 hit ko regardless of your upgrades or level. And on very hard you are 1 hit ko by anything, even enemies at lvl1. The boss fights are cool when you fight robots but uninteresting when you fight humanoids cause these boss fights share the same mechanics every fight, with the same moves, and sometimes they get a couple extra attacks but it just feels like fighting the same boss with just slight variations. In addition, the game makes these boss fights challenging by making the bosses just hit sponges. Its like if you play skyrim on legendary difficulty where it takes forever to do some decent damage. The story is badly written, you may like it but it is badly executed. There are major plot holes even if you do the side quests that expand on the main story line and explain it, even if they explain it, it is bad writing. Not to mention these side quest are tedious and boring fetch quests and escort missions. The bullet hell and 2d sections in the game are fun. The rest is very dragging and boring, and from time to time you watch some crazy stuff happen which is really cool. Overall: Graphics: 5/10. Really old looking Story: 6/10. Interesting but with major plotholes and just bad writing. Gameplay: 6/10. Combat can feel fun but theres not much enemy variety which contributes to boredom and while robot boss fights are fun the humanoid ones are uninspiring and repetitive. Score: 6. Interesting and fun some times but mediocre and boring the rest of the time.

Monster Hunter: World7
Feb 14, 2018
Monster Hunter World is a beautiful game, (although the graphics seem a little outdated) the monsters feel and behave like actual living creatures, the settings are pretty and the music is not memorable but nice. The main problem this game has beside the online connectivity issues that make you try to join a quest 10 times before being actually able to join, its its gameplay. It s fun but not engaging and while playing I didn't feel invested at all. It s kinda like an arcade game where you kill things just to kill them and pass time. So yeah, if you are bored its a fun game to kill time, but if your time is limited it could be spent in other games of quality because in all honesty this game is just ok. Its a beautiful, fun but mediocre game. This game has a "story" which is just watching cutscenes of characters you don't give a damn and looking at beautiful monsters arriving before you ll hunt them. It should have had a true story/ campaign. In this game none of the characters are interesting, and nobody explains nothing or gives any context to what is happening other than "yeah that monster is bothering us , could you kill it please?" Why are they monsters in the first place? Who are these "fleets" 1st,2nd,etc? Why were we sailing? Where did we come from? None of these questions are answered. Then there is the first "boss fight" which is just a set piece of you shooting at a giant mountain and then climbing it to shoot at some rocks. Was it pretty? Yes, but boring as hell. I should also talk about the combat , which is quite deep and there are 14 different weapons to try which is cool but in reality you ll end up using 2 or 3 tops depending on what monsters you face. TLDR: +Beatifull environments +Monsters feel like living creatures +Deep combat mechanics -the story mode is a joke that doesn't explain nothing -uninteresting characters -outdated graphics -mirriad of online connectivity issues -fun but uninteresting gameplay that doesn't get you involved. Like mindless arcade games. Score: 7/10. Fun but mediocre.
