Too many immersion breaking glitches/bugs. Also, overrused "combat". Story, setting, atmosphere are great.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles4

A relaxing, light crafting and adventuring game ruined by corrupting save files. After every time you turn the game off, you risk your progress. I lost mine at 60% completion. Devs seem to not care at all. Would love to recommend, but just isn't possible.

Soft horror and drama combined in an interesting setting. Game flows well, the voice acting and dialogue is great. An enjoyable experience, definitely recommend to any suspense/drama fans.

Brings back the missing feel of exploration that's absent in modern day rpg:s. Combat is the best and the worst part, bringing situational awareness where your choice of class(vocation) can make or break the flow. But if you adapt,or just roll with the cheese, the "problems" are merely just features. The feel of everything, even with the cryptic quests just clicks for an old school rpg-fan. And none of it should pull anyone away from the experience, as information on every quest is so readily available just a click away on google. But, that said - it can exactly be(and is) what prevents this from being the ultimate rpg.

Actually loved it. Aside from the technical problems and clunky(ish) combat, the story and world building was great. Definitely recommend to any fans of survival horror with light puzzles.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth7

Audio-Visual masterpiece that still lacks "that" polish in the gameplay loop for it to be perfect. Being clunky and a bit janky at times breaks immersion. Overall, an enjoyable and a cozy game - But the open world busywork did hurt the feel of it, especially with the constant interruptions,(Chadley, how would you like to meet the axe?) And the meaningless/effortless minigames. Hope they find that sweet balance for the third one. The magic was just almost there, just not in exploration.

While not perfect now, it was for it's time. And unlike Remake it didn't "need" to provide fanservice and had the perfect amount of content to explore. Classic emotional JRPG, with one of the(if not the) best soundtracks of all time.

+ guns, lots of guns.. well weapons anyway(and a pleasant ammunition system)
+Intriguing world.
+Great feel for the gameplay.
- a bit brutal opening
-cheap ambushes
-cryptic/you will get lost with no idea where to go.
-lacks serene landscapes to variate the atmosphere. ^Blunt negatives, but still would totally recommend to any fans of the genre.

Really underrated. The writing is great, and they made open world (semi-)horror work. Apart from a certain early section where I had no idea what to do, the game flowed very smoothly.
Absolutely recommend to any who consider themselves a fan of horror games. The whole game is worth it, even if just for the ending(s). Loved it through and through.

This "game" doesn't deserve a 1. Degrading mockery of fans and gamers alike. Soulless, empty, hollow almost AI-like generated story and characters, not to mention the "gameplay".
