That 4.5/10 IGN gave this game was the biggest lie of my life... The Werehog stuff is actually pretty fun while the Daytime levels are the best Sonic has ever been in 3D. I don't know why people hated the Werehog so much, I actually enjoyed the combat more than some games that people praise for the combat. Masterpiece. Low points were the Tornado sections where you just press the butttons they tell you too and the middle part of the final boss. Music was great and other than the occasional slowdown it looks really amazing for an Xbox.360 game.

This game takes everything that was good about classic NES games, and gets rid of all the bad unfair things about them. The platforming is perfection. The sprites, while 8-Bit, are really well animated. Beyond that of any NES game for sure. The music is beyond outstanding. I cannot put to words how good the music is. The difficulty is PERFECT. Just a really great game you should absolutely play.

This game.... Where do I start? The graphics are gorgeous. This might be the only time I have ever prefered a game to be 2.5D. The game is really tough and fun. There are moments of spectacle with cutscenes that blend into gameplay so fluently. Samus in this game is such a badass. The EMMI were terrifying. The final boss was fricking sweet. This is right up there with some of my favorite Metroidvanias of all time.

I just want to start with that when I first saw the announcement trailer for this game, I had no interest in buying it. After a while, I started to gain more interest in the game and decided to buy it. Wow.This games name is really accurate. It really gives a sense of wonder to all the levels (especially the music levels). I had a feeling of joy the whole time and was only sad when it ended.

Hollow Knight is a fantastic game only surpassed by its sequel. If you haven't played this, I suggest you do.

An outstanding **** somehow managed to surpass my expectations after that already amazing first Hollow Knight. It had a good story with some interesting characters. Fun, acrobatic, slick combat. Cool boss fights. Music that ranged from epic to hauntingly beautiful. Gorgeous art. It doesn't revolutionize gaming, but it does what it does REALLY well and is just an incredible game overall. It may be challenging for some, but I would definitely recommend Hollow Knight: Silksong.
