Sonic Unleashed

Sonic Unleashed is a glorious return to true console form for Sonic.

A slightly smaller game would have been preferable to one padded out with Werehog.

Sonic Unleashed takes two steps forward with some of the best speed levels in recent memory, and one step back by tacking on yet another failed experiment with the Werehog.

You can't help but love the daytime levels, but as soon as night hits the game, you will be desperate to turn off your console.

Sonic Unleashed had promise, and actually part of the game is pretty decent, but its too bad the entire game wasn't completed with the mindset of "Day" Sonic. Sorry Sonic, gamers pass on this one.

Terrible level design, unresponsive controls, and a poor camera are just the beginning of the problems in this awful adventure.

Got done with Sonic Unleashed had a fun time but there was alot of annoying parts. The boost stages were fun and the graphics looked good, but the werehog stages were boring and the hubs were annoying, especially when getting to a level only to know you don't have enough medals to play it.

Collecting medals is a burden for this game. Werehog stages are waste of time and daytime stages are good but not super good.

More so of a hot take nowadays compared to the general consensus regarding Unleashed, but I did not like this game. The boost levels are fine enough, but the Werehog levels are an absolute mess and not fitting for a Sonic game at all.

This game would of been so much better with the werehog parts. The day stages were you play as Sonic are really fun, makes me wish the whole game was like that. Instead we need sonic to turn into a werehog and play a bad brawler that runs like a N64 game.
