Not bad just didn't feel like a proper game. Still fun to play and a must for Monkey fans.

Hidden gem of a game. Really enjoyed it. The story was good, post-apocalyptic world you want to come back to, bike mechanics are cool, so many crazy, adrenaline-filled moments especially when early to mid game. Excellent weapon variety and even decent stealth. If they make a sequel, I would buy it in a heart beat. My first ever Platinum ;)

Styx: Shards of Darkness8

A really enjoyable little gem. Wonderful setting and atmosphere. With a big budget this little series could have become iconic. Gets a little repetitive but such is the nature of stealth games. Definitely recommend and hope they make another one.

Mad Max8

Solid game that has just about a bit of everything. It's been awhile since my last car combat game and it was fun. I liked the RPG elements and the general feel of the game. I hope they make a more complex and detailed sequel. No-brainer buy really especially when it's peanuts on discount. Re-watched Mad Max latest film afterwards and I have to say you look at the desert and car combat in a different way after the game ;)

South Park: The Fractured But Whole8
Feb 3, 2020
There is an opinion going around that the first game is better than the second. This put me off playing this gem for quite awhile. In my subjective opinion, the second offering is far superior. The first game has the novelty factor and perhaps funnier but, and this is a big but, the second game is much, much bigger and offers far more depth. It took me some time to get used to it - I preferred the weapon/upgrade system of the first game - but once you get your heard around it then it is OK. Simply put. there is far more to do in this game and strategic combat is far superior to the first game. It was challenging at times. Definitely a must for the SP fans. A bit too much toilet humour, but hey, cannot have everything. Looking forward to number three.

South Park: The Stick of Truth8
Feb 3, 2020
Fantastic little game. A must play for South Park fans. The story is fun and interesting. Combat is engaging enough - I personally love strategic turn based combat. The gags and the jokes are ott as expected and are top notch. Why 8? Too short, a bit simplistic in terms of what one can do and towards the end not very challenging as my character was OP. Enjoy it.

Ancient Greece baby! Best AC setting ever! Shame legendary weapons and armour get so easily devalued. Legendary is legendary dammit. Great story, beautiful setting, perfect score - nice one! Gets an 8 for getting a little repetitive and for weapon upgrade system. A classic for sure!

In one sentence? It's just not that much fun. From controls, to aiming to inventory. Missed opportunity. I thought I might spend months in this world but now I am just going to power through. Still not a bad game which I will finish. I always finish. I just wish I was running around in Ancient Greece right now. It's OK, I will get it on sale with all DLCs ;)

God of War9

One thing to get out of the way and straight away: the hype is real. But I went from thinking this is a defo 10 to giving this a 9 score - in the same company as Bloodborne and Wild Hunt for example. This was a big switch from hack and slash originals (I love and finished all of them) to a game more akin to Skyrim. I liked the switch. Skyrim is probably my fav game of all time. The other genre was done and this was a welcome and unexpected change. The game has great visuals, sounds and atmosphere. I enjoyed the general direction of the story, some episodes could have been omitted or done differently but overall I liked it. The combat system and runic element of it were well done. RPG element was expertly designed - I spent quite a bit of time switching between different enchantments, pommels etc. The difference between them was clear and it is usually good sign. You do not feel it is pointless. These are the reasons why it is not a 10: 1) Not enough boss fights. And those that are there are not epic enough when compared to previous instalments. Should have killed a few more Gods/Norse Legends along the way. 2) The worlds are sparsely populated. Could have done with more fauna and enemies. 3) Gets a little bit repetitive towards the end and there is a bit of backtracking. 4) Too much suffering for upgrades. I don't mind some suffering but this is too much. 5) While I liked the combat system and the upgrade system associated with it in general, it was a little too complicated. Some upgrades were useless and you never going to use them. Just confusing. Should have kept it simple. Good foundation - something ES should copy - but requires more work as combat is a big part of the game. So I give this game a 9. It was close to 10 but more work needs to be done. This still is a must buy game.

The Last of Us Remastered7
Apr 18, 2018
I have heard so much about this game that I had to have a look. These are my thoughts: - The game, despite the remastering, still feels a little dated. - The game reminded me very much of Uncharted series. The same studio and naturally same feel to it. The only difference is the setting. This is Walking Dead compared to Indiana Jones. For me, Indiana always triumphs over Walking Dead (the actual series is very underwhelming 7/10 for me). For this reason, I am giving this game a solid 7/10. I have marked Uncharted as 8/10. - Interesting and well thought out characters. - Good level design but somewhat linear which is expected. All in all, I can see why it is regarded as a classic and I did enjoy it but not as much as I expected. I had a repelling feeling about it as I bought the game and only played for the first time many months later. Each time I played it, I did so to just finish it and tick the box, but while at it I did enjoy it. - The game was consistent and had quite a few tense and exciting moments. Am I looking forward to the second instalment? Not really.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor9

What an unexpected gem ****! Becomes a little bit too easy towards the end but hell of an experience. A few things can be improved upon but that's just being picky. Future potential is enormous. Much better than AC games, yes even Black Flag.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War9

The last time I played the game as religiously as this one **** last Shadow of Mordor. I want to go back. I had the same feeling with Skyrim. I have only been playing for 3 days but I can already note that: a) The game is fun, the nemesis system has been improved. b) The graphics are amazing. Ok I am using HDR mode on LG Oled but on basic PS4. When I switched from game mode to HDR, I was blown away. It looks good. c) The inventory menu is ok. Too small and unnecessarily complicated. d) Control system should be better. Sometimes I want to jump off and end up grabbing every wall in town while being hit by Tark hating scum. I mean come on. e) The story is solid and as an avid reader of all Tolkien books, I can do not mind them branching out. Tolkien is no Jesus. Calm down. It is all for fun and doesn't affect canon. f) Cannot make any comment yet on MTS as I have about 7000 Miriam and I still haven't bought any loot boxes. People say it is a grind in the end. Hell, I still haven't stormed first fortress and it is already a grind and I love it. Enjoy every boring mission. I have waited for so long for this game and I am not disappointed at all. I almost got put off by bad reviews but then I decided to make my own mind up and let's be honest, I was gonna buy it anyway. Who am I kidding? Buy and enjoy.

SAMURAI BLOODSHOW : les vagues blanches, les nuages rouges10
Oct 13, 2017
What a delightful hidden gem. One of the best strategy games on the phone. I enjoyed it as much if not more than PvZ. It is card based and you essentially make a deck which you modify depending on the level. It is intense and requires high degree of planning. The visuals and music are amazing. I also strongly recommend its sequel Alexandria Bloodshow. Both make my top 10 mobile games. Shame they discontinued the series. 10/10 and fully deserved.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt9
Oct 11, 2017
Great game but I hated the inventory. Swords and gear do not really seem to make the difference. Skyrim beats it hands down when it comes to that aspect. Music gets a bit repetitive. Plus despite its size, I have never felt the urge to explore which is quite strange. Having said that, it is still an incredible game. Beautiful visuals, nice combat system and touches the nerve. Certain choices do have an emotional effect on you 9/10

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition8
Oct 11, 2017
Beautiful looking game. Its major problem is how easy it is. The music, the graphics and actual combat are fantastic and on the money but that desired sense of dread just ain't there. It is epic and not at the same time. Yes, I can hike up the difficulty but for me normal is how the games should be played and difficulty should be adjusted accordingly. Gorgeous game all the same.

Never played games like this. I got put off by buying Dark Souls 2. Played it for 3-4 hours and never picked it up since. This was last try for the genre and it was worth it. Combat was intense, atmosphere/environment dark and menacing. The whole weapon system and shop features could have been better. More difference between gear would have been appreciated. Towards the end I just wanted to get over the line but this is not to say that I haven't enjoyed the journey and on many occasions i was drawn back to it. Always a good sign. I usually follow user ratings closely, as they are by far the most accurate, and tend not to go below 8.5. This is a in a must play territory and I will play the second when it comes out. 9/10
