The overhauled graphics elevate Cyrodiil’s dreamy atmosphere and classic fantasy charm, delivering breathtaking vistas and incredible attention to detail across the map. ​However, the illusions fade the moment you stop admiring the scenery. The world suffers from a noticeable emptiness regarding NPCs, populated by too few, stiff characters that make the environment feel like a beautiful but hollow shell. Compounding this is a decidedly obsolete gameplay loop, featuring flat combat and outdated level-scaling mechanics that show every bit of their age. ​Ultimately, it is a wonderful trip down memory lane, perfect for those willing to look past a core gameplay structure firmly anchored in 2006.

Dark Souls: Remastered is undoubtedly the best and most accessible way to enjoy a milestone in gaming history. The 60fps are a blessing, but anyone expecting a deep graphical remake or quality-of-life gameplay tweaks will be left partially disappointed. A must-buy for newcomers, a somewhat lazy nostalgic operation for veterans.

Solving them is far too guided and highly repetitive, often boiling down to casting the exact same spell over and over again. ​Redundant combat: While the wand-based combat system is initially spectacular and fluid, a lack of enemy variety and highly predictable attack patterns make the encounters monotonous in the long run. ​In short, it is a must-play for its incredible world building and sheer immersion into the Harry Potter universe, but it lacks boldness when it comes to its core gameplay mechanics.

Salt and Sanctuary is a shining example of how to translate the Dark Souls formula into a 2D side-scrolling action-RPG without losing a single shred of atmosphere or complexity. Dark, unforgiving, and incredibly deep. ​Who is it for: If you love the challenge of Dark Souls, dark fantasy atmospheres, and the structure of Metroidvanias, this is a must-buy.

It'’s clearly aimed at a younger audience, but it’s still enjoyable even for someone like me who falls outside that target. ​The monster designs are great, and the battles, while simplified compared to many of its competitors, are still pretty engaging. ​It’s not a game that will stay with me forever, but it kept me entertained and amused the whole time I played it, which is more than I can say for some other monster collectors out there!

Rather than a "Soulslike," I’d define it as a "Nioh-like": the combat is fun and rhythmic, and putting together your build feels rewarding and far from trivial. ​The difficulty is tough but fair, both for common mobs and bosses. Speaking of bosses, the movesets deserve a special mention as they create some truly satisfying choreographies. ​On the downside: Story & Lore: A bit too weak for my taste. ​Systems: The leveling and gear management felt unnecessarily convoluted. ​Characters: Neither the protagonist nor the NPCs really stand out in terms of design or personality. ​Quests: Progressing through side quests is often way too cryptic. ​If you’re looking for a game where the satisfaction comes from "throwing hands" and mastered combat, this is definitely worth a look.

The undisputed highlight is its swordplay, arguably some of the finest ever seen in the soulslike genre; the deflection-based combat is fluid, rewarding, and transforms every duel into an adrenaline-fueled dance of reflexes.​ The action is bolstered by high-level graphical fidelity that breathes life into atmospheric environments and an utterly captivating boss design, masterfully blending historical figures with mythological horrors in epic, visually magnetic encounters. However, the title stumbles on the narrative front: the plot feels unengaging and fragmented, failing to forge a real emotional connection between missions. Despite the weak storytelling, the gameplay achieves near-technical perfection, making it a must-play for anyone seeking top-tier, precision-based combat.

​A Fascinating Soulslike TPS ​The gunplay is incredibly fun, and the sheer variety of weapons and passive gear offers a wide and multifaceted range of builds. While the lore is intriguing, the main plot feels somewhat lacking. ​I’d recommend this game to anyone looking for hours of pure entertainment rather than those seeking a deep, complex narrative to get lost in.

Cute game. Narrative adventure that is not particularly surprising but is still appreciated for the characterization of the characters and the nostalgia effect that it manages to convey. It's a shame that the tension is only perceived in the final phase of the story, but despite this the title flows pleasantly and doesn't make you regret the hours spent playing.

Simply fun. Pure action, fascinating worlds, amazing secrets, epic bosses and fantastic character building. It is recommended but not mandatory to have played the first chapter.

The lore is intriguing and never cliché, making it a genuine thrill to piece together all the information you gather along the way. A masterpiece

Skyrim is an essential title. Even if it technically shows the signs of age, the feeling of adventure it offers has rarely been equaled. It's the perfect game for those who want to "switch off" and immerse themselves in another world. Timeless.
