Firewatch9
Feb 16, 2024
Firewatch is an overall amazing game that I think anyone who wants a good story would enjoy. The visuals are absolutely gorgeous, the gameplay is fluid and smooth with very simple controls, and the storyline in the game, while fairly short (Only 3-4 hours long), was very enjoyable and was worth the $20 I spent in my opinion. While I do wish the game was longer, so I could experience even more of the beautiful landscape and continue playing, I was very happy with the game, and personally didn't feel like I was cheated out of my money in any way. If you enjoy games that are more story-driven wit beautiful landscapes and scenery, then you will love this game!

Highway Blossoms8

While this game isn't what I was expecting it to be, (which was a fan-service type virtual novel, such as NekoPara), it was actually a really good VN. The story in it was amazing, and actually hit kinda close to home, even with me being a male. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic comedy style virtual novel.

Humanity Must Perish8
Feb 16, 2024
While this game was really short, and kinda to the point. It actually got me thinking about things the game was pointing out. I'm gonna be honest though, I didn't see much comedy in this game like I was expecting, as it was mainly little jokes that didn't make me laugh. Overall the game was good, especially for a free game, and would still recommend playing.

While not your traditional XCOM style of game, I thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough of this game and the story told within it. Trying out the different powers and weapon combinations was also a lot of fun for me and game was enjoyable enough to play through a second time a few months after my first run through.

Feb 16, 2024
As someone who has never really enjoyed turn-based RPG games in the past, I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this game. With the familiar characters from the South Park universe, as well as all of the hilarious jokes and puns that you would expect from South Park made this game a blast to play through.

A Hat in Time10
Feb 16, 2024
From my first 5 minutes of playing this game, I knew this was going to be one of my top 10 favorite games of all time. Between the fun story, the whacky and hilarious characters, the smooth and nostalgic gameplay, as well as the beautiful looking worlds made this game an absolute blast to play. When I finally completed the story of the game, I was honestly sad that it was over. But seriously, Hat Girl is such an adorable character with an amazing personality that she portrays wiithout saying a single word. Hands down one of my favorite characters.

Slime Rancher8
Feb 16, 2024
Slime Rancher is an adorable and thoroughly enjoyable "Ranching Sim" where you have to collect slimes to put in corrals to farm their plorts in order to upgrade your farm and gear, while also learning the lore and story behind your character and while you are there in the first place. Graphics are definitely enjoyable to look at, accompanied by some great sound and relaxing gameplay. Definitely recommend to those who enjoy farming sim style games or just want something to kick back and relax to

Arcade Spirits9
Feb 16, 2024
First off: I was given a key for this game by the developer to try out. However, I am not paid for this review, or under any signed contract, and am giving my honest opinion on it. Now, after my first playthrough of this game, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with it. The story was both well written and enjoyable, even getting me attached to some of the characters and bringing out emotions during certain events within the game. The dialogue options in the game also do a pretty nice job at giving each different personality type an option to choose from that helps your character feel more like yourself, instead of just a basic character that is scripted out a certain way, even bringing your choices into play throughout the game during key moments and keeping track of your personality type. The voice acting in this game was also well done, giving the characters more of a personality themselves, instead of one I could come up with in my head. I do wish more of the characters lines were voiced out, as the amount of voice lines is fairly slim compared to the overall dialogue of the game, but it made the voice lines that did appear that much more enjoyable, especially during certain dialogue lines that gave that extra little punch in that moment of the game. This game also gave me a new appreciation for arcades, especially those with the retro vibe, and not the ticket giving cash grabs like a lot of arcades have today, and has made me want to go out and experience some of the ones nearby to myself with that newfound appreciation to try and get a more fulfilling experience. Now, there were a few things that I did notice as "negatives" about this game, however they were pretty minor. There were some spelling mistakes, words in places that weren't supposed to be there which made me re-read or double take sentences, and there were a very small amount of frame rate issues but those were very few and far between. Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and would definitely recommend you give it a shot.

A really fun way to get into PC building without the IRL draining of the bank account! Likes
- Story is decent
- Driving takes some getting used to but has that NFS arcadey feel, but with more need to drift
- Lots of customization for vehicles with an online community for liveries
- An online world makes for some fun times. Having a random roll up alongside you and your friends to join you for a fun drive around the map makes for fun adventures. Dislikes
- Drift challenges are more of a nuisance than a fun challenge. Most of the time I have to just swing my car left to right down the road just to get the needed points for 3 stars.
- Trying to complete nights during the early stages of the game can become really frustrating as there is little to no chance of losing the cops in the starter cars or until much later in the game.

Controls take a little getting used to compared to World, but once you get the hang of em, this game is just as fun as World is, at least in my opinion. There are some monsters that seem to have bigger hit boxes then they should for some of their attacks which can be a little frustrating, but it makes it more satisfying when you finally bring em down.

Offers a realistic feel of hunting with a decent selection of weapons, attachments, lures, etc. Can be a little frustrating to hunt certain animals if you don't know where to hit them, where they normally roam, or if they can smell/hear you as well as some other animals but makes the hunt satisfying when you finally get them. Also, I finally found living things that more often then I do. 10/10

I understand why people were miffed about them not fully disclosing that this game became episodic, and that Episode 2 is taking so long to come out, but as far as I remember, they decided to give backers the full series (will try to remember to update if/when episode 2 comes out as I am a backer), and I got a solid 10 hours out of this game by exploring all I could and completing the side quests. I enjoyed my time with the game, and would recommend if it's on sale, or if they release some full "Season Pass" down the line like TellTale games usually do.

Have had some little stutters here and there on low settings with a 1080 graphics card, but is still playable. Hoping things will improve once they release the optimization patches. Still recommend the game in it's current state as they at least told us in advance that the game was going to play rough at the start because they didn't want to delay it further, and I trust them to fix the issues in future patches to get the game where they want it to be.

Surprisingly addicting and hard for me to stop playing. I can tell you from experience though, don't get the 2nd iteration of this game, as it's nowhere near as good as this one is, in fact they made it worse imo. Definitely get this one on a sale though to really feel like you got your moneys worth, as I don't think most people would find it worth the original price.

The voice acting sounds like they recorded the lines piece by piece and edited them together poorly, matchmaking put me on a team full of beginners against a team of people halfway through the Season Pass already, and the microtransactions are so over the top in price that I can't even begin to try and defend them. The only thing good about the game is the art style and character design.

They took everything that was good about Wii Sports, added a positive dash of some cool customizations that you can earn through playing, and then crapped all over it all with forced "advanced" game modes, and Nintendo's terrible multiplayer servers. Had so much potential to be good, and they failed it.
