Lake is a truly beautiful narrative adventure. The sound design is excellent and the story progresses in a delicate way, with feeling. An oasis of relaxation in a chaotic world that is always in a hurry.

A fantastic feat of storytelling and character building in relatively short time, Lake demands to be played. Compelling narratives and characters unfold beautifully and organically in an adventure game that lets the player cobble together their own tales of Providence Oaks.

Lake. Ultimate relaxation. Lake left a strong impression on me. It's filled with a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the Season's Greetings DLC, which perfectly complements the main story. I really enjoyed the relaxed pace, the beautiful art style, and the ability to choose how to handle various situations. All of this creates a feeling of warmth and peace.

Simplesmente um jogo bonito, relaxante e muito envolvente. Valeu cada minuto do meu tempo. E por ser curtinho eu consegui fazer todos os finais que me interessaram.

Personal grievances aside, I think Lake succeeds in its aims, and that’s the important thing. It set out to be a slice of small-town life, and that’s what it is. I think there’s a rather narrow audience for that kind of thing, but it will be perfect for those who know what they’re getting into. If you think you’d be into a narrative about escaping the city life, then here it is. The writing is solid, the production values are decent for its asking price, so it’s worthwhile to check out of that’s your thing. As for me, I’m just eager to get back to the city.

Between the walking simulator, and the video game experience, Lake is a contemplative title that takes advantage of rather well-written characters, and a system of dialogues enough impacting for us to think about the meaning of life and its priorities. No choice is better than the other, which means that the title really lets us choose what we want, without it having a positive or negative impact on the gaming experience. The sublime artistic direction, the incredible landscapes, and the chill soundtrack are a perfect setting for such a reflection. Lake could almost be reimbursed by social security because its soothing virtues are numerous. Unfortunately, a few bugs tarnish the picture, while we admit to having trouble releasing the 20 € requested for 6 hours of play, with very low replayability. In short, hop on Lake in a few months, after a few patches, and during a promo.

Lake is an extremely charming story-driven title where you can accidentally be so nice to everyone that you end up forgetting to live for yourself. For the right kind of person, that in and of itself can be a much-needed wake up call; for everyone else, it’s in the very least a soothing little mail-carrying simulator that allows you to set the pace. If you’re looking for some slice-of-life goodness that provides some chill and calming ambiance, taking it easy with Lake is a no-brainer.

In the end, Lake delivers on producing a "slice of life" experience but with some issues that keep it from being excellent. The characters are interesting to talk to, even if only a few of them break out from being one-dimensional. The vocal performances are good, but the stiff facial and body animations and rushed story don't give it a chance to connect with players. If you can forgive these shortcomings and don't find the mail delivery mechanic to be tedious, Lake is relaxing and different enough from other offerings to warrant a glance.

An interesting idea marred by a subpar execution, Lake is more tedious than it is relaxing and immersive. The atmosphere is neat, and the whole process of taking it easy and just enjoying the simple act of delivering the mail is surprisingly cathartic, but it's not enough to keep you here for more than an hour. There is some talking to be done with a number of characters as well, but this is sadly the least exciting thing here. The townsfolk are so boring that driving the empty roads and simply delivering the mail is more preferable.

oyunda siz ne cevap verirseniz verin oyun çok fazla uzamıyor. Grafik konusunda biraz zayıf kalmışlar ama yine de fena değil, oynamaya değer.

The calmness is the game's greatest strength. You wake up in the morning, go to the post office, follow your route, and chat with people. Some are warm, some are distant. Over time, you get to know them and learn their stories. In the evening, you go home and go to bed. The next day, the same thing. And this monotony is somehow very relaxing. So why 7? Because it remains a little too superficial. Relationships with the characters develop, but not deep enough. You make choices, but the consequences aren't powerful enough to make you feel them very distinctly. Two weeks also feels a bit short; I would have preferred more time. There are also some technical glitches. The camera angles are sometimes strange, and the driving mechanics are a bit stiff. It's a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing experience. But it doesn't quite reach its full potential. Still, if you're tired of fast-paced games and are looking for something slow-paced, definitely give it a try. Delivering mail has never been so ****.

I have just finished the main game and the DLC.I can understand why it received so many positive reviews despite the fact that i don't think it deserves them.Cozy games generally appeal to a certain audience because of their mechanically simpler,slower-paced and more accessible nature. This game has also been embraced by that audience thanks to its minimalist controls and extremely simple gameplay, and i think it has been vastly overrated.First of all,the game is genuinely very **** conversations we have are incredibly shallow and boring, and most of the time, you don't even feel like the choices you make have any impact on **** map is poorly designed and feels empty.A few times when I tried to explore,i came across invisible walls and 2D map boundary assets.(One of them happened when i was following the fox.I mean, how do you not think of this developers!?)There is already absolutely nothing to explore in the **** spend each supposed new day trying to complete the same routine, with the same boring comments, driving along the same boring roads and having meaningless conversations with the same boring, uninteresting and utterly uncharacteristic **** game never lets you escape the feeling that it is unfinished and **** ambient sounds are inadequate. While playing the main game i frequently encountered character voices cutting out during cutscenes.(I didn't experience this in the DLC.I guess they noticed the problem and made sure not to repeat the same mistake there.)The animations in the cutscenes were barely given any **** facial expressions are inadequate and the characters can perform robotic animations that make them look as if they are suddenly teleporting from one place to **** game's optimization is also terrible. With my desktop system i can play games such as The Evil Within 2,Mad Max,Vampyr, and Far Cry 5 at maximum settings without experiencing any stuttering, yet for some reason,i had far too many instances of dropping to 30 FPS in this game. When you consider the game's draw distance from a graphical standpoint, you can clearly see that this absolutely should not be happening.(You can especially notice it if you pay attention to the trees.)The only thing the game does successfully is its voice acting, which is genuinely well **** short, I absolutely DO NOT THINK THIS GAME DESERVES THE SCORE IT HAS RECEIVED.Everyone has different tastes and **** I'm not so devoid of taste that I would give a "bad-boring-unfinished" game a 70-80.I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone;keep your money in your pocket.peace Y
