Zombieland: Double Tap10

I loved this movie. It was pretty hilarious. I don't understand all the negative reviews either. I loved the first movie and yes this one is different. That's a good thing though. Who wants the same thing all over again? E.g. One guy is complaining that there was no mention of Tallahassee's love for Twinkies. This movies takes place years after the first movie, which was right after the outbreak. Twinkies would be long gone by then. They are not going to last several years. That ship has sailed. If you go into this movie looking for a repeat of the first, you might be disappointed, but if you go with an open mind, you'll love it. That's how I feel at least. Seriously... My jaw dropped to see all the negative user reviews. I was completely surprised by them.

I loved this movie. It started off a bit on the slow side and from what I read in another user review; this was the most likely reason that people started walking out of the theatre he was at. I can see how people who are used to the usual mass marketed drama/comedy would not have the patience to sit through that part of it, but by the end of the movie it all comes together and leaves you feeling joyful and uplifted. The acting was great, the music was phenomenal. I was never a huge Springsteen fan, but listening to his music through the point of view of the protagonist I've gained a new appreciation for it. Great movie. Just be prepared for a slower pace that you might be used to.

My wife and I saw the previews for this movie while watching another one. It looked like it was going to be a pretty decent movie in the Spy genre from what we saw, so we picked up a copy. It started out well, but the graphic **** scenes, nudity and just the subject matter of training these young people to be **** was absolutely disgusting. When we saw the naked lead actress obeying orders to spread her legs for the man that just tried to **** her earlier, that was enough for us. The blue ray disc was popped out, broken in half and tossed into the trash. Absolutely disgusting. We watch movies to be entertained, not to feel violated. They could have gotten their points across without these graphic scenes. We just couldn't take it any more.

Loved this movie. Great CGI and great action. It never got boring. There was always something going on. There were a few plot points that didn't make sense to me. Seemed that they were just tossed in out of the blue to create some tension. That and the ending seemed too abrupt and left everyone hanging, obviously setting up a sequel. It could have resolved on a better note. Those two things kept it from being a 10 in my book, but I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I thought the movie was great. It wrapped up this trilogy very nicely and left room open for more films set in this universe. Some of these movie critics seem to have watched a different movie, or maybe had indigestion from eating too much popcorn in the theater.

It was only a matter of time before the Wizarding World would turn into a full blown left wing propaganda machine. In this movie we see the foundation being laid. I am personally tired of seeing "progressive" preaching woven into my entertainment. I go to the movies to be entertained, not indoctrinated. This movie will be my last journey into the Wizarding World.

Went and saw this movie with my Chinese wife. While exaggerated for comedic effect, this movie really did capture the typical Asian mindset when it comes to relationships and pleasing the Asian family. I encountered the same type thing when dating my future wife, even to the point of where my fiance broke it off with me because of her family's pressure. As the movie pointed out, her American indoctrination eventually won out and she came back to me. Both of us totally empathized with this movie and enjoyed the comedy as well as the exaggerated portrayal of the Chinese culture. Really fun movie with a great ending.

The bad reviews here are actually a good thing. It's liberal Hollywood that hates this movie because it exposes the nature of the Democrat/Liberal mind set. If this was a Michael Moore liberal propaganda movie, you can bet liberal Hollywood would be eating it up. They don't want people to go and see this movie. Their bad reviews are an attempt to protect themselves.

This wasn't a bad superhero movie. It wasn't a particularly great one either. It was pretty much middle of the road. I was expecting much more considering the glowing reviews and the box office success. In today's PC culture, I find myself honestly wondering if the glowing reviews were more connected to having a black superhero and mainly black protagonists, than the quality of the movie itself.

If you want to see a movie completely gutted from the book author's original Christian themes, but want to instead see something remade to fit the new age mindset of the director, then this movie's for you. If you're not interested in seeing new age drivel then buy the book instead.

I loved this movie myself. There were a lot of great performances by some great actors and it was fun to see the "bad guys" come together for the sake of saving humanity. Stand out performances were the Harley Quinn, Joker and Dead Shot characters. No, this ain't your mother's superhero movie. The chaotic style of this movie appeared to have been a turn off for a lot of people, and the ratings suffered because of this. II think this stylistic approach was an intentional attempt to give the viewer a glimpse into the minds of the characters themselves. Some of them were seriously deranged after all. I actually liked it myself and it drove that point home for me. Espresso anyone?

I came into this movie with the intent, not to compare it with the Classic we all know and love. We all know how that works. One can't help but draw comparisons anyway, and I can understand the zeros people have given this movie zeros but that's a bit unfair. It's really not that bad, but it's not the epic Charlton Heston movie we all love. I was disappointed that the production values weren't as high as you'd expect for a major motion picture release, but in general, this new take on a classic tale (yes I've read the book) stood on its two feet story wise. The relationship between Judah and Masala was much more fleshed out, and the resolution of the rivalry between them was more satisfying for me in this movie, than it was in the 1959 epic. Standouts for me were the scenes of the naval battle and the chariot race. Very gritty and realistic. While the CGI could have been better, I think those scenes brought home just how brutal these events were. I enjoyed the movie, but to do so I had to ignore the sub par production values. Had they spent more money on the production, my rating would have gone up to an 8. I think they must have spent most of their budget on getting Morgan Freeman on board.

Four of us saw this together and we were laughing through the whole movie. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie that was this funny. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart together were reminiscent of some of the comedy teams of old. If you want funny, then this was funny.

It seems to me that the negative reviews this movie is getting is mostly concerning the subject matter and not the overall quality of the movie. I saw it in an almost full theater and the audience was cheering and clapping at the end. Different strokes for different folks. The movie was obviously not on a big budget and had some of the cliche "action movie" stunts in it, but overall the movie was very good. If you are down on Christianity, you will most likely rate this movie low. If you love Jesus, you will most likely like it. Don't expect a triple A movie experience. It's more of a made for TV type quality. If you are open to the subject matter, it will be an enjoyable experience though.
