A massive improvement from the first game. Story is still quality like the first game, and combat and traversal has gotten an upgrade. Its a must buy! do not sleep on this game! Its the successor of a super hero games since the batman arkham series.

After almost 110 hours in, I am obsessed with this game so much i cant play anything else!
Tho the game does have its limitations and missed potentials, like having customizing your robot companion, a rover to drive around planets, flying cars in cities, etc... Most cities also feel bland and lifeless with easy access to invisible walls leading you to your doom and even bugs as well as the game being stuck sometimes or assets not popping up as they should. But if you look at what the game has to offer in terms of RPG, exploration and story you would find a genuine Bethesda RPG that will blow you away to another universe!

Final Fantasy XVI8

A masterpiece of a story filled with outstanding moments and epic characters, other major titles throughout the past 10 years wish they had such a material. However the game does lack in its “open world” elements by giving you segments and vast areas to go to with 0 exploration, secrets, and repetitive respawns and enemies it feels like a 16 bit open world than a modern one, so don’t expect anything similar to tears of the kingdom, elden ring, and heck even its predecessor FF15, the open world in FF16 is terrible and the game shoulve stayed a action adventure game instead, just like FF7 remake. Side quests only become interesting after the mid section of the game and especially very meaningful and memorable by the ending. Combat and gameplay is a very interesting take the i love actually, its a hybrid of the new god of war games and DMC making it very hack and slash with cool animations and epic abilities, tho it does lack a bit when it comes to mini bosses and bosses cuz who ever made that stagger meter so high and spongy did a terrible job at that.
I am overall in love with this game! I will play it again after i managed to digest and wipe away all my tears after that sad and epic ending. Be prepared for an experience you never had before with final fantasy.

Another game where most critics dont know what they are talking about. Yes the game has its flaws but its also filled with excellent moments, interesting characters, and a simple and fun design. Seriously this game is good! the only down side to it is that the game has constant waves of the same enemies and repetitive dialogs that characters wont shut up and endlessly speak. But other than that, everything else this game does is beyond imaginable! I would Love to see a sequel. And if you have gamepass and you still didnt download this game, then youre probably making out with you cousin.

Can't figure out where the hate is coming from in this game, its incredible! Playing on performance mode on series X is outstanding with great visuals and resolution and the smoothest of gameplay, yeah PS5 has an advantage when playing quality mode with the reflections but i personally cant stand a locked 30 fps, im totally fine with 40 fps 120hz modes but a locked 30 nahh, I truly recommend playing on performance and enabling motion blur. Now with that aside i do want to point out the bads and then the goods this game does: First and foremost I understand where the hate for this game upon critics is coming from, tho most of critics took it up to 11 i would agree that after the first half of the game, the game does start to lose its interest, with constant larvae jumping on you everytime you open a chest that becomes annoying, Unbalanced bosses especially the final boss (Is super unbalanced its like you constantly die even on easy mode), lack of upgrades to your character which is something that is required if youre looking to be a survival horror, like you cant upgrade your health and inventory early on till you get the suit down the line half way through the game and even then itll just give you max health and inventory, something that is missed from other survival horrors and even dead space. i truly wish to see a more polished design for that down the line and even in the sequel. Its hard to see basic survival horror mechanics here are missing when most of the devs have been working on MANY AAA games for over 20 years including the entire dead space franchise. And its also pretty hard to find where to change skins in the game when there are no extra options in the menu, but its in gameplay options if youre wondering. Now for the good: The graphics and gore OMFG! its jaw dropping and something that the gaming industry has been hungry for, for years! And really reminds me of the indie game ILL, the gore is disgusting, disturbing, and very beautiful looking. Combat and gameplay is great and feels realistic which i love! tho it does take some time to get used to but once you got it, Bam! youre on the edge, the tutorials dont tell you much about collectables and certain items so you sorta have to figure it out for yourself, but remember to check out early on what items you need or dont but using the internet or just by browsing what items do after you pick em up. The story is a Heavy clone of dead space heck it even ends like dead space with a scary scream before the credits roll, so you would feel at home with the story if youre familiar with dead space. Overall this game is truly worth picking up IMO on a sale, you will love it and you would love the experience when playing this game. Im totally looking forward to NG+ when it launches on February 3rd Including new patches and fixes for the game and as well as the story DLC and more skins down the line. As well as a more fleshed out sequel of what the devs can truly do with this franchise, It is a slice and a start for the team on a new IP with a new studio thats not corrupt by greedy publishers and i trust the devs at striking distance to deliver something greater on the next game using UE5 and finally ditching that old UE4.

Is it a 10/10 as everyone claims it to be? no, is it terrible or a let down? no, so why dont i fell like this isnt the masterpiece like its predecessor? Its because the game is lacking more of the epic and wtf moments that it used to have. Dont get me wrong, i love this game in every bit and form! But it is missing more of those epic moments rather than those intimate moments which are everywhere after the mid game and it sorta breaks the immersion and doesnt feel god of warish, it needed more of those bad ass moments. So overall the core story of the game just didnt do it for me, it felt like it was made for children and teens rather than adults or to the original god of war fans, but at least it ended in such a wonderful way and an open ending towards the next chapter. But other than the less bad ass moments and and somewhat of a let down about the story the new world of god of war is full of life! and full of content for you to do, its big enough to chew on and long enough to fulfil that satisfaction that the predecessor needed. With all the realms being unlocked, changes to the realms after the last time kratos and atreus have visited the realms, and more challenges and things to do and explore all the time! Even after 100% completion i still just want to go back and see how gorgeous each realm looks and feels. Combat is here in its glory yet its a hit or miss, with movements and attack changes that didnt seem necessary like holding the triangle button that you never use especially when you unlock the attack and perks that would charge your axe/ blades after a few hits, and no more upgrades towards rage and unarmed combat makes feel like a missed opportunity, tho you do unlock a whole new weapon later on in the game but ill keep my mouth shut for that, and probably thats why the whole change in combat was probably changed towards and saved for that, which you end up using the new weapon more down the line. Overall its a phenomenal game with a sweet soundtrack, amazing visuals and detail to the world, content, and combat. Tho the story felt like a slight let down and it did need more epic moments rather than these childish disney like acts, i felt like it couldve been the true masterpiece everyone was talking about. And i would definitely be coming back on NG+ for new content and to get a 2nd opinion.

A Plague Tale: Requiem10

Just when you get to chapter 12 grab a lot of toilet paper because you would be crying all the way till the end! The best way to describe this game is by saying, the more you play it the deeper, richer, darker, and mysterious it gets all the way till the very end credits. They dont make games like these anymore, and im extremely thankful for asobo for delivering such a phenomenal game and experience that makes PS exclusives like the last of us look inferior compared to plague tale, and yes plague tale is better than the last of us imo! At the end, if youre on gamepass, this is a MUST download and play right now! and if you havent played the first game, then shame on you, because you truly are missing, and you would get lost in requiem, and trust me, its worth it! and its worth it to put aside any game youre currently playing to get into the plague tale world and you would thank me on that.

A Spectacular Marvel masterpiece! Seriously this game is an underated masterpiece and its a shame that this game didnt get as much praise as is shouldve gotten in the first place and you know why? cuz SE screwed it up by ruining their reputation in the first place with marvels avengers. They should have released this game first before marvels avengers, but hey marvels avengers is more of a marketing and name technic, right? shame on SE. The story is fantastic, with interesting choices that made me one time restart the game and check a guide to see how they actually affect the game and damn these are some serious decisions you have to make. However, its kinda lame that with these choices the game wont let you save before, i mean the whole manual save stuff and save slots are useless cuz the game saves automatically all the time and if you have done some progress and saved manually and load that file you will be restored to the last autosave on the same slot you initially saved manually, kind of odd but ok it didn't ruin for me. Combat is extremely engaging and fun! Graphics OMFG on a high-end pc with rtx and dlss, that's a sweet kiss, the game is optimized extremely well on pc! with a 2080ti max settings and balanced rtx i get an average of 100-143fps on 3440x1440p (yet is also depends on the ram and cpu you use but hey even on a 1080 you can rock this game). Story wise (i noticed i mentioned that twice but hey here me out), let's put it this way, Ever been to salt baes steak house and had a nice meal with the family or friends? you remember how good that meal was and how you can't stop thinking about it because it is so memorable and excellent? yeah that's the same feeling you would get with marvels guardians of the galaxy, which i am a fan of the movies as well, but damn the game is AMAZING!!! Overall to make it short and top it all off, the game is excellent! it falls short due to the lack of polish which the game truly needs. But other than that, you are looking on one hell of an experience! Truly remarkable and I hope eidos Montreal makes a sequel with their new publisher, because if you do the best ending, you will see how open the game ended even after the credits. A game made by fans for fans.

What defines a true open world, a next gen open world, a creative open world you might ask? this game will do all that talking for you the more you play it. It is not your generic open world with objectives to go here or there, this game will let you do you however you want when you want! No one is forcing on you anything here just dive into the world and enjoy its masterpiece of story telling quest lines, and main which is truly one of the best storylines in videogame history and well ofcourse written by the legendary author himself Geroge RR Martin. Everything is just a masterpiece in this game! and heck those 92 hours ive put in flew quickly! and there is still so much more to do and im in love with this game! As a long time souls fanboy and especially a Massive fan of Miyazaki games, this is what i have been waiting for and i cant wait fo the next game Miyazaki pulls of. And for the DLC thats to come in elden ring, and yes! there are sidequests and even after the main campaign (depending on your ending) that do open a door for dlc and more to come in the world of elden ring.

Horizon Forbidden West10

The most breath taking game out there! too bad that elden ring took its attention. While elden ring is good, it is nothing as compelling as forbidden west. Remember how mass effect 2 improved drastically from mass effect 1? exactly the same feeling and experience you get here. World is lush and alive and full of detail, combat is ok but gets very very fun at some point tho its very messy and confusing once you unlock certain attacks and weapons but the core is still there to enjoy. The story is hella improved! and has many jaw dropping moments and surprises you just have to dig in to if youre looking forward to play forbidden west. After many sidequests and a campaign with a length that is extremely on point just how i love it! Not too short or too long, just in between and extremely memorable, Horizon forbidden west is a must play for all ps5 owners!

ABSOLUTELY OUSTANDING!!! Honestly i never had so much fun before! heck i cant even remember how awesome video games were back then, because im so used to get greedy and **** games of today, and this just reminds me of the gold old days where quality and creativity was key to success in video games and entertainment. From start to finish, crysis 1 is great but the weakest of the trilogy, with longer loading times and clunky gameplay, but definitely ahead of its time. 2 and 3 really change the rules, with graphics that are extremely impressive and improved, even with the matrix demo on UE5 CryEngine still looks phenomenal and better imo, its more polished and textures are amazing and the smooth 60 fps on the ps5 is unbeatable! Crytech you guys nailed it! and i cant wait to see whats next. I am a huge fan of the crysis franchise and im upset that this series didnt get the attention it deserved, back then and now. And it deserves the attention and praise!
