Most of the user reviews are spot on. The loading times ****, the game does freeze for a moment while doing certain things like attacking, chopping or talking to NPC's. Other than those things, the game is fun and very addicting. For $30, you can't go wrong. The game reminds me a lot of Yonder, but that game was slightly better in my opinion. The only other negative thing i can say about this game is that the day/night cycle is way too fast. If you are a fan of farming/life simulator games, then this game is worth checking out. I originally had this game as a 6, but I am raising it to a 7. The more I play, the more I get addicted. The load times aren't so bad when actually playing the game, it is mainly when you turn the game on, it loads forever going to the menu screen, and then loads forever again when you load the saved game. Other than that, not too bad. The bosses do get challenging the deeper you get in the game. The game has seasons which was nice to see. I tell myself I will play for an hour and it ends up being 5 hours. That's how addicting the game is and how you get involved in it as well. I might raise the score again if it keeps getting better! Over a week into the game and liking it more and more. The score is raised to an 8!!!
Basically, if you play on Switch and use Fox, this is a Starfox game. The game iook's good, it plays good, and the story is great. There is a lot to do on each planet, but once you beat the game, it does get repetitive because the only thing left to do is take over the same outposts on different planets. But like I said, the story is great and it's fun and very addicting. If you love some Fox McCloud and Falco's smart*ass ways, then you will like this game!
This is the first Pokemon game I have ever played. I know that it is a remake of a much older game, but wow, I can't put it down! The animation, the music, the gameplay, everything about this game is beyond great. Now I can't wait for the "big" Pokemon game to come out later this year. The game is addicting and everytime that i see a random Pokemon wandering around, I have to go catch it. I feel that this game is perfect for someone just getting into Pokemon games. There isn't much difficulty, but some of the battles do get a bit tough. Don't listen to all the ridiculous negative reviews that people are leaving. This is a great game and I am 36 years old. I love this game and I continue to have a blast with it!
I can't sit here at tell you that this is a perfect VR experience, but for the price tag, it is well worth it. There are many many games to play using the various attachments. The resolution is a bit blurry, but hopefully the Switch Pro has a better hand held screen when it comes out. Mario Odyssey and Zelda are getting VR updates, I can only hope that Mario Kart gets one as well eventually. If you want a fun VR experience, get this. Hopefully Nintendo releases a head strap for this. That is the only real negative thing to say, your arms will get tired holding this up to your face.
Ok, I will be admit that the game is not perfect, but wow, it doesn't deserve the low scores that it is getting. It is still a Fallout game, it looks like a Fallout game, and it plays like one. I have put about 10 hours in the game so far and I have had fun. I have ran into many other players and they have not attacked me, that is a PLUS! There are no human NPC's. We all know this. We are the NPC's for later games. That is the point. You do get most of your missions from holograms or computers, but that is fine. The game world is great. The map is huge. I want to explore, but I am a level 10, I will wait a little while for that. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER! You can go at is solo. That's what I am doing. Please ignore all the low scores. Everyone knew exactly what they were getting into with this game, it was no secret. Nothing will ever beat New Vegas, this game isn't even close. If you liked Fallout 4 for the most part, you will like this game. If you are a Fallout fan in general, you should play this game JUST BECAUSE! Solid 7 so far. UPDATE!!!!!!!!! 15 Nov 2018 5 p.m. Ok, so there i was just minding my own business and two idiots decide to follow me around forever all the while shooting me. You do take damage after every shot. I was under the impression, if they fire at you and you don't fire back, you only take that first bit of damage, but no, you will continue to lose health. It isn't much health, but still! I don't mind other players running around in the world, but Bethesda really should make an option where if you want to interact or not. If you don't, you should still see the people, but not interact with them.. That's what I think. When I am trying to complete a mission, being attacked by ghouls, that is enough, but no, you have to worry about other people attacking you. Its dumb...DUMB DUMB DUMB. Weren't we all supposed to be from the same vault rebuilding the world? Why would we kill each other? I will leave the score the same. I am still enjoying this game, but I hope Bethesda changes certain parts of the "online" experience. UPDATE!!!! 16 Nov 2018 1 p.m. Back again with another update. I am really really trying to like this game. I keep telling myself that it is Fallout, I LOVE FALLOUT, but after a while, it doesn't feel like Fallout anymore. A major gripe that I have is using melee weapons. I get swarmed by level 1 ghouls, I am a level 15. I swing the golf club, the ghoul moves. It takes forever to set up again and swing again, the ghoul moves again while I am being attacked by 5, 6, 7 more ghouls. I know, I can use guns, but these are level 1 ghouls! The melee combat ****. its worse than any other Fallout game. The most annoying part is when you are being swarmed and then the frame rate freezes, then it catches back up and you are no longer facing the way that you were and now the ghouls are behind you. Its annoying. And another thing, since when did the rad moles or mole rats, whatever they are become such a problem. HOLY ****! For issues like I have been running into, the score is being lowered from a 7 to a 6. UPDATE!!! 22 Nov 18 Ok, so my mind hasn't changed much regarding this game, but I have something new to gripe about. When you go to an area and there happens to be another real player there and this player is very much above your current level, all the enemies in that area will be around that players level. Top of the World, most enemies are not above level 10, I am currently level 20. I left the area and came back a bit later and there was a level 48 person there, all the enemies were level 45. This kind of takes the fun out of the game. Bethesda should never ever try online ever again. they should stick to what they do best, make memorable single player games! I am still enjoying the game for the most part and for what it is i guess, but this game actually makes me miss Fallout 4, and I didn't like that game that much. UPDATE: 26 Dec 2018 The game ****, score lowered to a 3. I am pretty sure I don't need to give an explanation as to why my score lowered. Go to youtube and watch people talk about the game. Everything they say is absolutely true! Terrible. I am scared about Rage 2 and the next Fallout. I am scared about TES6!
What can I say, if you played the Wii U version, than you know what this is all about. I have played it on the Wii U and I played about 5 hours of it today on the Switch. Same game, but still fun for the most part. Some levels are easy and some levels are challenging especially if you try to collect the 3 big coins. I do kind of wish the 2D Mario games would disappear, but I am a **** for Mario, so I had to get it again. I cannot justify the $60 price tag. This game should've been $40 since it is pretty much a port of a 7 year old game. The challenges are probably the best part of the game (speed run, coin collector, etc.). If you love Mario and are a fan of side scrollers, and if you never played it on the Wii U, then play this game. If you have already played it and aren't a fan of Mario and side scrollers, then skip it. Simple enough.
I have put about 10 hours in the game so far. i never thought that I would like a Smash game, but guess what, I do. I don't want to give this game a 10 yet. I have mainly played the classic mode which I find really fun and it is kind of like a practice mode. You do unlock a new character everytime you play classic mode, but you must beat that character to unlock them. One round of classic mode takes about 10 minutes, give or take. The main mode is fun too, it is an actual single player campaign. You start off as Kirby. I thought using Kirby was a great idea. Everybody likes Kirby! The game is very addicting and it looks great! I recommend this game. I can see it getting boring after a while, but only time will tell.
Ok, this is no where near a perfect Rollercoaster Tycoon game. Thrillville or Planet Coaster are far more better, but guess what, those aren't on current consoles. This game is better than Rollercoaster Tycoon World that is for sure! I love sim building games and I couldn't wait for this to come out. I knew it probably wasn't going to be like RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, but it tries, I will give it that. One bad thing about this game is the lag. Once the park gets really big, the game lags and it is kind of annoying. I really hope they fix this, but they probably won't because this game almost didn't even happen for the Switch. The other bad thing is that you can't ride the rides like you could in other Rollercoaster Tycoon games. This really is a stripped down version of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. I still enjoy the game, don't get me wrong. I am happy that it is on the Switch and I have put a lot of time into it. I do recommend the game if you absolutely love sim building games. This and City Skylines is perfect for you!
Ok, so most of the negative reviews are because this game isn't on PC. GET OVER IT! No reason to rate it a zero. YOU HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED THE GAME! I have put about 12 hours into this game so far. It is truly a masterpiece. The visuals are the best I have ever seen. I play it on PS4 Pro, I am sure Xbox One X is just as good, maybe better. I don't care, it looks great on PS4 Pro. The only negative thing that I have to say is that riding the horse is clunky. It doesn't handle well and it gets annoying, but it's not worth taking any points off. Also, when digging through drawers or cabinets, it is tedious. I don't let those 2 things ruin the game for me. The overall gameplay is amazing. Gun battles is fun. I have encountered a few. Hunting is fun, even though after hunting back at the camp gets pretty graphic. Everything about this game is fun and it lives up to the hype 100%. I highly recommend this game even if you didn't play the first one. This is a prequel anyways, so you really don't need to play the first one. If you are looking for a game to take over your life (in a good way), this is the game!
I have been playing this game for about 4-5 hours so far and I am enjoying it a lot. Does it have the same charm as Wii Sports Resort? No, but it is good in its own way. There are many many many things to do in this game compared to the 12 activities in Wii Sports Resort. The game is fun and the different activities are fun. Only reason I gave it a 9 is because it still looks like a Wii game... Update: 29 July 2018. My score stays the same, but there is something that I wish could be fixed. The camera is horrible. It is locked behind your avatar so you cannot look around freely. This makes it difficult when trying to find hidden items scattered across each resort. Other than the camera issue, the game is fun and I am having a blast with it!
I am not a big NBA/basketball fan, but without Madden or a proper MLB game on Switch, I turned to NBA 2K19. The game looks great, it plays great, and it is an awesome NBA game. I really have no negative things to say, the microtransactions dont impact the game at all. MyLeague is the best part of the game. I might actually start to watch NBA, you never know.
It is a train simulator, very slow paced game. You. need to know that going in, but it should be obvious enough. The game runs great on PS4. It looks great, and for me, I am 36 years old, the game is a fun relaxing game. You definitely need to buy the DLC because there are only three different regions with about 10 missions in each one. There is a free play scenario where you get to choose what route you want to do, the time of the day, the weather, and so on. The game isn't perfect. Some of the outside textures need work, but for the most part, it looks really good. The trains is where all the detail is, they are phenomenal!
I am reviewing the new version of the game. Not much changed. still BORING BORING BORING BORING! Still feels like Sea of Thieves in space to me, minus the online player BS! I just dont see the appeal of this game. There isnt much to do and it is repetitive which leads to major major major boredom!
This was an amazing RPG. Very Fable esque! It was just a bummer that this game did not get good advertising which led to very low sales and the company had to close down. The story was great, the gameplay was great, and the graphics, like I said above, very Fable like which I loved. This was actually a non-buggy game which was refreshing, especially from a new developer company. Many hours spent in this game, but again, the company went broke and had to close, so no DLC or further installments.
This was a great introduction to a Batman game by Rocksteady! I dont think many expected this game to be good, but wow, it was! The gameplay, the combat, the graphics, the villains, there was a lot going for this game and of course, a sequel was definitely expected, which we did get and they made it even better than Asylum! This game was just limited, but Rocksteady was just playing it safe as their first Batman game, but the story worked out and the whole trilogy worked out great. Origins doesn't count, sorry.
Arkham Knight looked amazing, it played the same as the previous Arkham games, but there was just something about this one that I couldn't get into. Including the batmobile to drive was a nice addition, but that still didn't work for me. I preferred flying around using the grappling hook. The story wasn't that great and it was PREDICTABLE! It was a nice conclusion to the Arkham series, but Arkham City is still the best and it will probably be the best superhero game ever!
Batman Arkham City was an excellent sequel to Arkham Asylum! Rocksteady improved on every aspect of the game. Dont get me wrong, Arkham Asylum was great, but Arkham City is PHENOMENAL! The map is good size, not too big and not too small, just perfect. The story is great, and all the villains was great. The ending with Batman and Joker is a very emotional scene. Normally games dont get to me, but that scene at the end did the trick. I loved how Ras and Talia al Ghul were in this game. If you have never played the Arkham games...WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???!!!
This game wasn't perfect, but wow, it was underrated. This game was fun and made you feel like you were really in the Mad Max universe. The game was huge, but like a lot of games, it might have been too big for its own good. It did get a bit repetitive, but it was still fun. It was fun driving around and just exploring new areas. the combat could've been improved, but oh well, I still had fun playing the game. I just wish it received more attention, that way maybe we could've gotten some awesome DLC. The graphics were awesome, the story was really good. I recommend checking this game out!
This was a great Assassin's Creed game. I must say that it is probably my favorite one. There is something about 1800's London that made the game so much fun, plus having missions based around Charles **** was great because he is my all time favorite author. Being able to play two different storylines, one male, and the other female was so much fun. The gameplay was solid, the graphics were amazing and the story was good. Like any other UBI game, it got repetitive which is a score killer for me.
Well, metacritic doesnt have an option for the N64 version, but oh well, I am talking about the N64 version. This was one of the first games I had for the N64, besides Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64. I loved this game. My all time favorite Star Wars game. A lot of people hate on this game, but it was amazing. It was like its own little movie. All 10 levels were interesting and well developed. Flying the snow speeder never gets old. Fighting Boba Fett at Gall Spaceport is still the best! Dash Rendar would make a great character in a Star Wars movie, but of course this story doesn't exist now Disney owns Star Wars... BTW, I am not even a Star Wars fanatic!
The game means well. Nothing has really changed since the early access version. The game is still buggy, and it gets boring very quick. The makers of the game had a great idea, they just didn't execute it very well. The graphics are cute, and that's all I can really say about this game. I have played it since the early access days and I am just done with it, meh.
Just not good. I loved Dead Rising 3, but I couldn't get into this game. It was a little over the top if you know what I mean. Yah, Dead Rising is meant to be that way, but 4 was just too much and not fun.
I have no idea what happened with this game. The first State of Decay was a decent game, not perfect, but atleast playable. This game failed compared to the first one. The gameplay and the graphics did a complete 180. Mind boggling...
The game was fun. Level design was in your hands. It was fun playing friends levels and it was fun watching friends play my levels. The game did get boring after a while. I really hope they come out with a Switch version.
Stupid, boring, and online ****! This game is basically The Divisions' Dark Zone in the sea. I did like the Fable style art they used, but other than that, the game was a total let down.
I did enjoy this game for the most part. There are certain things that ruined it for me though. First off, all enemies are bullet sponges. That got annoying really quick. The other was the Dark Zone. This almost made me not want to play the game anymore. I dont need to go into details, you all know what I am talking about. Other than that, the game had amazing graphics and a pretty good story. I hope The Division 2 does better.
Come on, Kirby is a fun and relaxing game. It is no Mario or Zelda obviously, Kirby is a pink marshmallow, but still, the game is charming in every way. The game isn't perfect, but I very much enjoyed playing it!
I loved every second of this game. From the first time seeing the open world while skydiving in, to the ending on top of the building. This game was fun, engaging, and just excellent. The visuals are breath taking. This is the best zombie game I have played (The Last of Us doesn't really count as a zombie game). This game is awesome in every aspect!
I had an idea what I was getting into playing this game. It is what I expected. It is a mixture of Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. People complain that it lacks content or combat. That is not the point of the game. It's all about exploration and farming. I enjoy this game. Overall, this is a great game with gorgeous visuals!
Wave Race 64 is an amazing game. For the time, this was the best water in a game ever! This game still looks great today. The game was fun, the tracks were fun, and I loved the stunt mode where you get points just for doing stunts. The commentator got annoying at times, but oh well, the game was amazing!
Excellent game. Even though it is basically just like the first Splatoon, this game is still great. Hours and hours of fun. I have no complaints regarding this game. I am only a level 30 and there are level 99 people playing. I never get tired of this game. This is how a "shooter" should be, just fun without hearing 12 year olds screaming in my ear or trying to insult me LOL.

I love survival stuff, whether it be movies, books and even games. I had high expectations going into this, but wow, I was let down. I have played many The Sims games, but this one was just too bland and difficult. Yes, games are supposed to be difficult, but the character gets too hungry or tired just walking from one side of the beach to the other. Dont even get me started on the using the bathroom. You are on an island by yourself, use the d*mn bathroom. I did manage to play through this game, but I wish I could get that time back.

I dont know why they just didn't keep doing what they were doing with Tropico 4. Tropico 5 seemed watered down and limited compared to 4. I still had fun playing this game because, well, it is fun and the narrator is funny. This is still better than Sim City.

The visuals might have even been improved as well. The game keeps the basic formula from Tropico 3, but I just had more fun playing this one.

I am happy the game improved in later releases. Building on many islands was fun and very challenging at times.
Skyrim was and still is a good, fun game. The graphics were fantastic, and the recently released version on the Switch looks good to. I still find myself sneaking back to playing Oblivion. There was something about that game that kept me going back. Once I beat Skyrim, meh, I was done with the game.
So many memories! This game got me through one of my deployments. My down time was spent with this game. I loved it. It was my first Elder Scrolls game and I am happy that it was. I still play this game till this day...sorry Skyrim.
The Fallout game that could've been. This game had so much hype and had so much going for it, but it just wasn't fully there. of course I enjoyed playing it. I love the Fallout games. The story to this one was just too much and all over the place. They talked about the map and how big it was, 1/4 of it was the Atlantic Ocean, so there really wasn't much you could do there. The building mechanics were ok, but I really didn't care about that part of the game. New Vegas is still the best.
So, I played Fallout 3 and then a few years later, I played Fallout New Vegas. This might not be the popular choice, but I liked New Vegas so much better than Fallout 3. The story was somewhat better in Fallout 3, but I just had so much more fun in New Vegas. I went back and played New Vegas like 4 or 5 times all the way through. I will always love this game and it is my favorite Fallout game to date.
This was my first time entering the Fallout universe. I was not disappointed. I really had no idea what I was getting into, but once I left the vault and saw the Capitol Wasteland for the first time, I was blown away. This adventure took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I loved every second of it.
I want to give this game a score like the 9 I gave Fable 2, but I just cant. This game did not live up to expectations. I did enjoy the game, but not as much as Fable 2. Fable 3 is just kind of there if you know what I mean. I tried to be the best, but Fable and Fable 2 outshine it all day long!
I loved everything about this game except for the very non climatic ending. I played through this game maybe 3 or 4 times, that's how much I enjoyed it. The story was spectacular, the graphics were great for the style they used. This game brings back so many good memories.
Ha, I cant believe people are actually giving this game positive reviews. First off, they changed the entire game from the RPG that it was supposed to be. Secondly, it plays like an original Xbox game... The graphics were weak, the gameplay was terrible, and the story, well, the story was dumb. You could either play on the good side or bad side, but the story was the exact same no matter what, no change at all!
This game isnt perfect and they definitely steer away from the traditional Ghost Recon formula, but it is still fun. the graphics are great. The major downfall of the game is repetition. It feels like you do the same thing over and over again. The plus side is that the game is long, it's really not something you can play in one day and beat it. I am sure it has been done, but you are missing out the exploration part of the game. One play through was enough for me.
A phenomenal sequel to a very solid Mario game. Galaxy 2 added on to what was already a great game. this time, they added in Yoshi and he is always fun.
