It's the perfect Sonic (and Shadow) experience. Sonic gens is really good, but Shadow Gens is really really good. Only problem is that alot of the physics are nowhere near as fun to use like in Sonic Frontiers. Turning jump deceleration down, maintain boost during a jump and power boost makes traversing the open zone so much fun, and it's all gone in this game. But I can forgive it as his ground control is better, as well as the levels and the open zone is more condense than frontiers

It's just more Sonic Origins which was already pretty good, but now it Adds Amy which is awesome,Knuckles in Sonic CD (abit late but glad he's here)andall the game Gear Games too!

Many Sonic fans really downplay this collection. But really, this is still the best way to play these classic games. For casuals, this is the perfect collection to get.

Motion controls. Everything else is this game is good, but this really, REALLY ruins the game

I've heard a lot of good things these days, but it was not it for me. Daytime was fun, although difficulty can be quesionable at times, visuals arepretty good, and the story is good too, and the soundtrack is phenomenal, but thats where the positives end. 60-70% is spent as the Werehog, a poor man's copy of GoW and DMC combat. It has many combos, sure, but the game dosent give you any reason to use them Enemies pose 0 challenge they just stand thereto be used as fodder, conpared to God of war or dmc where enemies make you think on what kind of combo chain is best uses for the enemy. For example, in DMC3 I have a starter combo that I use when a battle starts, but when an enemy strikes, I start to change my battle tactics, some enemies are easier to take down with sword master, others are better with gunslinger, I constable switch between them, using different combos on different enemies to keep a satisfying flow, simular to gow aswell. Sonic Unleashed dsosnet have this, combos dont flow nicely with each other, and enemies just stand there and to nothing, posing 0 challenge or threat. What's the point of giving me all of these combos, when mashing squared ones the exact same thing? And they keep spamming these unfun combat sections when i justw anna run fast in daytime sonic. Boss fights are bad, the final boss really stinks, preformance is terrible

The best 7/10 you could play. This game isnt for everyone, so if you enjoy games like Breath of the Wild, Nier Automata, Shadow of the Colousus, and Spyrogames this game is right up your alley. Story is really good surprisingly, gameplay is super fun, especially on new game plus with the spin dash and power boost, visuals are stunning, and music is the best ive ever heard in a video game, and it even had 2 different endings. But the game is kinda buggy, collision detection is awful, some voice acting is a bit odd and cutscene animation can be lacking, and the main villain is pretty bad. Its called "The End". But the boss fights, easily the BEST BOSSES on 3D Sonic History! But overall, despite the 70 on metacritic, I think this is easily one of the BEST Sonic games. Up there with Sonic x Shadow Generations, Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic 3 and Sonic Mania
