Alien: Isolation8
Dec 23, 2014
Ever feel like a mouse dropped into a cage with snakes? You will when you play this game. Im disappointed with some of the bad reviews this game has got. The game has like 5 difficulties. If find it to be to challenging or frustrating you can always make it easier. I'm playing on Normal difficulty and I havent had too many problems. Sometimes you open a door and the alien is right there and there is nothing you can do, but thats what your agreeing to when you get this game. The alien has a mind of its own and will be wherever he wants to be. I also don't spend all day on this game, I just get to a couple of save telephones and then play somthing else. The game may be too long, Im not sure yet, but I would much rather play a horrific immersive 18 hour campaign then some boring 5 hour Shooter of Dutyfield 17 3/4s. Those games seem to automatically get 9/10 every single year I don't think the reviewers even play them anymore they just cut and paste from last years review. The graphics are really nice, and I love the retro futurism you're in a super advanced spaceship with green and black CRT monitors.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition6

There are so many good things about this game, the different skills and customization of skills, how well it works on the Xbox One, the graphics, the cutscenes, the animations. The game takes me back to my High School years when I would act like I was going to sleep, and then sneak back on the computer to play Diablo 2. I lived on Jolt soda in the mornings back then. The game is WAY TOO EASY. My friend and I played through Act 1 on EXPERT and I died like twice. I don't want the game to be soul crushingly impossible but I do want to sweat a little bit. There are so many defensive abilities I don't even need to use. I'm playing as a monk and I have an ability called blind which prevents all enemies in the area from attacking for a few seconds. However because the game is so easy there is no reason for me to even press that button. I assume I'm supposed to be a glass cannon but I'm more like an invinicible nuclear bomb. The leveling system is ANNOYINGLY FAST. I got to a point where I just ignored all the new abilities I kept unlocking and just continued playing. I dont understand why I would get to level 30 just playing ACT 1! The game hands out WAY TOO MANY orange (epic/legendary/powerful) items. Again I got to the point where the game was so easy I was just using whatever I had on and turning the new orange items into enchanting mats. This game needs to hand me a cracked sash and a butter knife and tell me "tough sh..!" I will continue to play this game but Im goning to take items off my character / only wear the less powerful gear and try to add some fun to this game. 6/10

I played the F out of this game for like a year. And what do I have to show for it? Nothing. The game is a complete waste of time. It does everything in its power to convince you that its NOT a waste of time, but it is. This game is like the matrix. Your real life is somewhat boring and you know your plugging into a fake world but you do it anyway. Im glad I grew out of it. It becomes a full time job after a while. You do "jobs" in the game over and over again to improve your character. Ill go ahead and give the game a 4 because I did enjoy my fake life while it lasted. And when I broke my foot and couldn't put weight on it for 2 months this game was a godsend. In real life I was a cripple but in this game I was powerful warlock or rogue.

Its a great game, I never really beat it though. Honestly after a while all of the content is recycled. Like a lot of dungeons look the same, different layout but the same. Also the difficulty level goes from extremely easy to damn near impossible. I know you can lower the difficulty setting but I just wish they would have got it right. I think I should go back to this game and just do a speed run through the main storyline, because I would just keep doing the side quests.

I never once played single player. Multiplayer was amazing until everyone figured out that you can non stop noob tube and other unbalanced craziness that I cant quite remember. What I do remember is that the game was never patched, things were never fixed. They just waited for the next COD. 6/10

I played this quite a lot back in it's heyday. Singleplayer never held my interest but the multiplayer obviously started a COD chain reaction that may never die. They have made many improvements but also missteps since COD4. I will give this an 8/10 it will always be a classic.

I played a lot of this game a few years ago, but I never really got around to beating it. A lot of the missions were a blast to play. The problem is that there is a level you have to play over and over again, the objectives change each time but your still playing on the same recycled level. Basically your agent is infiltration a terrorist base over and over again. No complaints about the graphics and gameplay. I can only give this game an 8/10

I havent moved on to the second game yet but I do own it. Im sad that my friends made me buy Xbox One so I wont get to play the newest one for quite some time. 10/10

I have never really went online with this but the single player has some issues. The computer AI is set to "extremely easy" and there is no way to increase the difficulty of the AI. You can change all the other settings to difficult like no guideline etc and still breeze through the levels. Also every map is sunny and that does get old after a while. Graphics are good. Its the kind of game you play to relax before bed. 7/10 id say. I guess I should get Forza 5 now that I have the Xbox one, mabye it will be more challenging.

This game was amazing and all but It wasn't addictive. I would play some missions, quit for a week or a month or so, and come back to play some more. I was amazed when I finally beat the thing probably a year after I bought it. Its a great game to come back to periodically. Add to the rotation.

Single player FPS don't usually hold my interest for really long. I prefer multiplayer. But this game was just amazing. I love the steampunk design, the twist ending, the level design, the power ups. Im not going to write a very long detailed review but this game was great.

Call of Duty: Black Ops10

I played the F out of this game. The only reason I quit playing was because Black Ops 2 came out. Honestly some the maps were better then others but they did get creative with the maps. Ghost was probably overpowered in TDM, but that was fixed in Black Ops 2.

I have been playing Black Ops 2 on and off since its release. It's my go to COD game. The maps are varied, the classes are extremely customizable. The season pass was well worth the money. The damage system is to my liking. Nothing seems overly cheap to me. I have played the F outta this game and will continue to play it until its death. You can have your ghosts and advanced warfare. Honestly its COD. It realeases every single year, find one that you like and have fun.

I just got this game about a week ago. I got a good deal on it too. I barely played single player, just while I was waiting for the game to install. Multiplayer is pretty fun. I enjoy playing with a friend. I havent had any major issues. I let people beta test this game for a year before purchasing. The engineer starter gun is terrible. I had to do some domination games to unlock the next gun, which was much better. The other beginner guns are not too bad. I don't feel like I have to purchase any unlock shortcut kits. My friend wants me to buy Premium but I'm on the fence about it.

Come on people a 10 means an epic masterpiece ****, the game has to have an amazing story/graphics/online/coop/singleplayer. A 0 means the game is unplayable like riddled with bugs/no story/2008 graphics/very limited features I have never played Destiny Im just teaching you guys how to rate a game. I am giving the game a 7 just because it seems like its a good game just not amazing.

I really don't understand how other people rate first person shooters anymore. What makes a new game creative or generic? I seem to have different tastes then the mass media corporate review websites such as FOX-IGN and CBS-Gamespot. I seem to like different things from the vast majority of players. With that said I enjoy MOH Warfighter. I log on with my friend who I have been playing FPS games with for 3 years now. We have a game where we can spawn on each other and back each other up like we can in Battlefield 3. We have a game where we can earn killstreaks like in Call of Duty. This game kind of takes the best idea from multiple genres and blends them. I guess I enjoy the blend.

Modern Warfare 3 Versus Black Ops I see a lot of non stop Modern Warfare 3 versus Battlefield 3. Well if people get to compare those completely different games, then I get to compare Modern Warfare 3 with Black Ops in an all out multiplayer only cage match review: Maps: Black Ops comes with 12 maps that vary in size and shape. Some maps have wide open vistas with a few buildings for close quarters. Other maps are condensed and smaller. There are a few medium sized maps as well. The maps tend to suit all play styles with close quarter areas, and long range sniping grounds, as well as medium range assault rifle locales. Modern Warfare 3 comes with 16 maps that are cramped and claustrophobic and labyrinthine. There are some occasional medium range areas. There is no real place to camp or take a breather. The maps tend to be rewarding to the run and gun play style, while punishing the cautious and camp styles. Guns: The guns in Black Ops have differences. While there are a handful of guns that are best for most situations, any decent player can excel with any of the guns available. For long and medium range shooting, controlling the recoil is key to successfully hitting the target. The guns of Modern Warfare 3 have almost no recoil. You can aim a gun at an enemy and fire full auto without any problems. Also the maps are close quarters, so you wouldnâ
