THIS IS AWESOME! If you're going to get one game this christmas season, make it this one. I'm having an absolute blast playing through Halo 1 and 2 again! I'll have probably finished the campaign (legendary) by the weekend. So far it is just jawdropping. The game looks beautiful by modern standards, with all the quirks and hand-crafted feel of 10 years ago. I've managed to get onto the multiplayer now as well, (its working properly for me now) and that is just where this community shines. I've already come across mindblowing forge creations and have had epic games of Coagulation BTB, among others. :) Seriously, this is a goldmine of some of the best games of the last decade. BUY BUY BUY!

No customization, very few tracks, poor physics and god-awful servers contribute to this games piteous score of 3/10. 50 Cars would have been okay if they were all individual and unique, and didn't sound like a cross between a vacuum cleaner and an overheating computer. There is also no first person view, and the AI is crap. The only reason this isn't a 0, is because the graphics are truly amazing!

Destiny arrived this morning and I have been playing it for around 7 hours, ergo this is only really a first impressions review. This is coming from a fan of CoD, Halo (Die-hard fan), Battlefield, Boarderlands, and Titanfall, as well as Forza. For me, the only aspect in which Destiny dissapoints is the actual gunplay. The gunplay feels like a remake gone-wrong of Halo. Honestly, I sometimes felt that if they were gonna rip of their Halo franchise, they should have copied the lot. The shooting is not as snappy, or accuracy-based as Halo is, and that tells me that this game won't ever be competitive. They really should have left the gunplay as it was, because Halo stuck that balance perfectly. However, this game is more than just shooting. I can't help but feel that all these guys giving it a 0 either haven't given this game a chance, or haven't played it at all. The whole ambience and feel of the world is real and ingaging. The graphic style is awesome, and render/draw distances even more impressive than Dead Rising 3, (and resolution is at full HD 1080p). The soundtrack, though not quite Martin O'Donnell's best work, is atmospheric and iconic. The most fun to be had is on Patrols, Strikes, and Raids with friends. (No, we didn't complete the raid D: ). The game is certainly a social experiece, and if you don't have a group of 3 or so friends to play with, you won't experience all that Destiny has to offer, and I'd reccomend sticking with CoD or BF or Titanfall. The level design for the open-world is very good. I mean VERY good. The skyboxes are incredible (similar to Titanfall's), and the levels never leave you without action for too long. Character Customization is cool and very extensive, but doesn't persuade me to try to unlock more gear to swag myself up like I was hoping. Although the crucible is, in some ways, Destiny's achilles heel, due to the frankly bland gunplay, It certainly adds to the experience. I hear complaints that you can't start in the crucible until level 5? Trust me, you probably won't want to. I recommend getting though the first few campaign missions and do a strike with some friends before getting into the crucible. Fundamentally though, The crucible itself lacks identity. Its customization is very extensive (same guardian as co-op), which is fun and interesting, especially for casuals, but compromises competitive play. Crucible is, despite it's relative lack of revolutionary ideas, is great fun and is a greater challenge than that found in co-op. You can rely on the crucible to hold your interest for a few hours until your friends come online. Lastly, the framerate is very steady for me, never dropping at all. The controller is perfect for this game, which in some ways actually redeems it. Having played the game on my PS4 aswell, I can tell you that X1 is the place to play Destiny. Movement is fluid, responsive and natural, unlike the clunky nature of the PS4 controller, plus there is no spec difference between the versions. Matchmaking (where applicable) is rapid and finds great, no-lag games most of the time, with matches being close almost every time as well. The Verdict! Destiny is not perfect. Neither is is the best game of the year, nor Bungie's best game. But, with the debatable exception on crucible and gunplay, the game is fun an unique in its own right. This isn't the Holy Grail of fps games, no game ever will be, but this game has impressed me. Its scale is massive. This game is fun, and is worth the price tag. I certainly do not regret my purchase, and would recommend this to any FPS fan, looking mainly for a co-op/singleplayer experience.

The three maps, Haven, Export, and Digsite, are all extremely well-designed and rank as some of the best maps in Titanfall to date. Haven is my personal favourite, as it offers predominantly short-ranged encounters, and is an awesome map for both CTF and Hardpoint. This map pack is much much better than Expedition, but I'm not giving it a 10/10 for two reasons. 1. On Export there is a flanking route that is too powerful in Last Titan Standing. 2. I was expecting new gamemodes to come packaged with this. Other than that, thank you respawn for these gems!

I know this review is late, but this game has impressed me to the extent that I feel it necessary to actually review it at this late stage. Despite obviously being intended for younger audiences, the game holds its ground well in difficulty, art style, and plot. The game indtoduces a new concept regularly, so using different materials like vine, earth, branches, water etc. This leads to gameplay and puzzles that are consistently unique. The best levels are those where you have to use multiple types of materials in cooperation, so you can progress. This is an intelligent, well thought-out game that can easily justify £10/$15, and luckily, you can get it for free w/ Games with Gold. My advice is... Go for it!

Nice value. £7.99 for three great maps. Nice addition and the maps have variation that wasn't explored in the base ones, like a simulation and the introduction of larger, more useful trees. War Games is the best map in Titanfall to date, especially for CTF and LTS. Swampland is also a brilliant map. Pilots become much more powerful in that map because of the cover and positioning of the trees. Titans can get surrounded quickly. Runoff is a battle for height most of the time, and several routes are often used where you can encounter many people at a time. People complaining about the value.. If you don't think it's worth it don't buy it. You guys aren't reviewing the DLC here. My bets are 50% of the reviewers haven't played the game, let alone the new maps. Also new update is the beast! Titan customisation with decals etc, new modes etc, gonna be great!

Sixty Second Shooter Prime is much more fun than you would expect. It is a twin-stick shooter, with a surprising sense of urgency and difficulty. Gameplay revolves around racking up as many points as you can in the sixty seconds. Rise to the highest level you can manage, fire guided missiles, collect power-ups, dodge enemies, chain reactions, you get the picture. Topping leaderboards is as satisfactory as ever. There are a few neat tactics that I find myself using to progress and improve. Visually, the explosions do look cool and bright, and makes the game feel fresh. This game costs only £3.99 here in the UK! Definite purchase to survive the summer dry spell!

This game has got the great Ubisoft open-world feel to it, and it works well. The graphics and gameplay mechanics are excellent, but nothing special. The story is the main let-down for this game. They could have taken it so far, but it turned out to be just your average revenge tale. The multi-player, frankly, is unnecessary, and failed to hold my interest for even half an hour. Now for the positives! The game not only is very atmospheric with the bustling streets and sneaking around the city, but it also feels very busy. This adds the effect that you can't keep track of everyone, so you could miss your target. The story, despite being basic as I said before, does actually pick up towards the end, so I do recommend sticking with it. I will be having a second playthough, but my first "speed-run" took nine hours to complete, so the game, (if you do all the side content/missions) should take around 20 hours; an acceptable length. The map is beatiful and big (the same size as GTA 5's main city area), and is extemely detailed and deep. The game, lastly, is unique, and I must admit it is actually much better than similar games, such as GTA. Don't believe the troll reviews between 1-4, this is a top quality game, worth the money.

This is exactly how a first person shooter should be. 14 hours long for me, and it was more than worth the money. The easter eggs, characters, soundtrack and entire environment was all done very well, to make this one of the most enjoyable first-person experiences I've ever had. The framerate was silky smooth at 60fps, not dropping once. The graphics, at 1080p, look neat, especially due to the lighting effects and texture quality. That said, I must say that I'm underwhelmed by the fact that i cant look down and see my legs or feet, which (IT'S NEXT GEN) I've come to expect. They've put a great spin on an old-school game, and I love it.

The game does not run smoothly for me, so buy at your own risk. For the game itself, quite a lot of the content has been removed from the original version of the game, and the graphics are not good, and do not match up to some of the other big Vita titles offer. I was hoping this game could justify my vita, given the huge success of the game on other platforms, but this game has really failed to capture any of my praise. It stutters and jerks, crashes on multiple occaisions and loses progress. For a game of this type, that is game-breaking. Also, although you can get used to the controls, to an extent, after a while, they are unnatural, and i am always pressing buttons by accident.

This game is quite honestly the most fun I've had in ages. The game is hilarious, and puts a casual and nonchalant spin on the flow of time, and executes the concept perfectly. It is so refreshing that Capy Games have delivered us a unique side-scrolling run-and-gun game, which truly requires you to think through what you are doing. Singleplayer co-op (sounds crazy right?) turns this game into a complex tactical puzzle game as well! As an example, imagine running through a level, dying (a lot), deciding where to position yourself in relation to your last life, then trying to save the previous iteration of yourself, creating a paradox where your last character lives, and then harvest him to level you up. Or sprinting though a level, rewinding, dying, rewinding, dying, until you have a whole army of yourself taking down wacky boss fights. The pixel art looks fabulous, and is one of the main reasons the game feels so natural, along with the fast-but-pleasant music. This game is not serious, but it's an absolute laugh, and It is definitely worth the money! 10/10 gameplay. 9/10 length. 10/10 replayability. 9/10 visuals.

Top notch game. Worth every single penny. Don't hesitate. Once again, ignore the troll reviews from 1-4. I own the Xbox One version of this game, and have just played this xbox 360 version at my friend's house, and the difference is notable. The graphics aren't quite as good, and the framerate sometimes drops a bit as you hop into the titan,( also I have actually experienced a bit of lag on the xbox 360). However, the game is fundamentally the same, and I still had tonnes of fun on the 360. Any fans of shooter games should really appreciate this masterpiece. I recommend this to anyone and everyone!

At last! Devastation launched with four maps which actually redeem Call of Duty: Ghosts for me, along with a new weapon I consider a valuable asset. The maps are much brighter in colour and are well suited to SMG and Assault Rifle weapons. I haven't played the Extinction mode for this DLC yet. As a recommendation, I'd buy this over the first Onslaught DLC. Enjoy.

This game is great fun in parties or big family groups, and offers all the laughs and fun you can expect when a camera generates an athletic cartoon version of yourself in game! The game types are very good (though i'm not a fan of the shooting), and the beautiful sunny environments, and events happening in the background, always give the spectators some nice scenery to look at. The Kinect actually works very well in this game. It has picked up every movement of mine without fail. A recommendation to younger family audiences, as well as older parties looking for a laugh. This game is perfect. That's it; - It is the perfect game. Giant mechs, perfectly balanced weapons with perfectly designed multi-layered maps, dual scale warfare, David and Goliath style fighting, verticality, parkour (including but not limited to: wallrunning, wall-hanging, double jet-pack jumping and rodeo), then perfectly married Titan vs. Titan, Titan vs. Pilot, and Pilot vs. Pilot gameplay means fresh, unique and fun! The most impressive aspect is the way in which as a pilot, you feel as if you stand a pretty good chance against a titan if you are smart and use your speed and abilities to your advantage, whilst as a titan you feel all-powerful and as if you are in the better situation;- and you are, so long as you are tactical in your titan. If you've got this far, i recommend watching Adam Sessler's (a very well-known and trusted gamer) review on Rev3Games on youtube. (****/watch?v=eWbvXB85BZc), it is a very comprehensive review and you should enjoy it.

If you want an absolutely gorgeous hack-and-slash third person game, then this is for you. Crytek have indisputably made one of the most beautiful games available on console. The campaign is awesome, though at times repetitive, it delivers a consistently entertaining storyline and gameplay. The online multiplayer within the arena is where most of the fun is to be had. You battle around many different maps within the area with friends, with the legendary cooperative executions. It is an addictive experience, and if you enjoy roman/classical games or films, like 300, gladiator, or simply like the button-mashing experience that all hack-and-slash games offer, then this game will likely interest you.

This game is a huge disappointment. The online multiplayer gameplay is completely bland, has lost its core focus, and is too heavy to capture attention for any reasonable period of time. That said, the animations are very well done, and the map design is acceptable. Still, the multiplayer aspect brings nothing new to the genre, and is ultimately boring. The singleplayer, firstly, looks gorgeous, and is one of the best looking games on console to date. That is about my only praise for it. It is around four hours worth of boring, dreary, gameplay. The story is just awful, and the AI are pathetic. It was a real letdown given the high quality of previous Killzone games. The graphics simply don't make up for the frankly awful gameplay.

This game is Call of Duty. If you like the franchise, you will probably like this game. Firstly, the singleplayer gameplay is good, and holds the players interest for the majority of the campaign. The 'Extinction' and 'Squads' games are fun, welcome additions, but don't exactly innovate over what has already been done in previous iterations of the game. The multiplayer is the controversial part, which makes or breaks this game. The gameplay is not particularly well balanced, and it is quick to annoy players as a result. The map design varies, but is mostly acceptable. There is a generous selection of weapons to choose from, as well as an advanced soldier customization system. There has been positive changes to the create-a-class and perk systems, and fun new unlocks and challenges to complete, which do add to the game. On Xbox One, the servers are absolutely great, and lag is nowhere to be found. If you want to play Call of Duty, this is the platform that you need. Xbox gets the DLC first without fail, and with dedicated servers, the online gameplay is seemless. 8 of out 10 for the new features and modes, and for the excellent online servers and connection.

There are hundreds and hundreds of cars, many tracks available and loads of race types to keep any gamer busy for ages. A complex system of car customization including custom tuning, painting and adding personal decafs fully flesh out the game and make it feel complete. Great support from Turn10 studios, such as free dlc ( e.g. free Road America racetrack, several free car packs) as well as paid dlc keep the game fresh on a regular basis. Then comes drivatar, which is a unique and incredibly impressive way of insuring that you always have human-like, lively and interesting opponents for your race.
