A woke thrash game that manages to be even **** and wokier than OW1 (and it's quite an accomplishment!). The story, dialogues and characters are one of the worst in the history of crpgs. If you thought that Bethesda's Fallouts are bad, this is even worse. If you yearn for an above standard writing in your games, your cringe-o-meter will go beyond scale. I think this crap together with the abomination called Avowed should be two final nails in Obsidian's coffin. Fallout New Vegas was far from the Interplay standard but for a **** era game, it was actually okay. But that was so long ago. Truly, For their string of uninspired, derivative "awoke" crap that some people think are good games, Obsidian deserves to get nuked out of the orbit or a lifetime of work in the penal colony withouth internet access. Get woke, go broke.

This is the best story heavy game out there that's been made this millenium, only Disco Elysium is in the contest. A masterpiece of narrative design. All your Bioshocks, Baldurs Gates, Divinity Origins, The Last of Uses, Red Dead Redemptions not to mention The Witchers - they all pale in comparison like class assignments written by a bunch of special needs kids compared to a Master and Margarita or The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle or whatever is your favorite literary masterpiece. Only illiterate people will give it less than 9/10. Facts.

The Crimson Diamond5

The "lovingly created" yet undeniably ugly ass EGA art of Crimson DIamond will make any sane 21st century man's (and woman's, and boy's and girl's) eyes bleed. Still, the creator of this game who's no doubt looking at the world through magenta tinted EGA glasses has to be commended for her boldness and perserverance with this very particual and original for our times style of pixel pushing. It isn't lazy, like 95% of today low res graphics (some loonies call it pixel art) is. It has its particular charm, a sort of ugly duckling of adventure games. The story isn't super original, but it's engaging enough. There are apparently multiple endings, but I'm yet to experience the other ones... What's keeping me from recommending this game is, something I've learned years ago and will share it with you. Here it is, guys and dolls: nostalgia is a cunning ****. It makes mature, grown up people over 30 and 40 years of age defend bad movies and games they loved in their childhood. It makes them say Star Wars is a timeless masterpiece and so are the Space Quest series and Broken Sword 1 & 2. Yeah... But for all of us sane people, who are able to see clearly and don't wear the nostalgia glasses, the answer is very simple: no, nope, nein! You old farts were young and clueless back then, you should know better now. It's not only that Crimson Diamond looks ugly, it also plays dumb. Dumb like a parser game it is. Playing it brings back the decades old dilemma (bad, not good), well-known to all seasoned point and click fans: you know what the answer to the puzzle is, you exactly know what you're supposed to do next, and you try to type it in over and over using different words to make it make sense for the parser, but the game doesn't allow you. It is worded differently, so every time you try, some of your initial joy evaporates and in the end you realize how stupid and unfair and how embarrassingly 1983 it is. It's like it's wearing shackles on purpose, both visual and logical ones. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game, but it would be so much better if it wasn't for the stupidly limiting parser and if it wasn't such an ugly pixelated mess. It costs 15 bucks which isn't unfair, when you consider how much effort went into it, but considering the measure of my parser-induced frustration, it does seem a bit pricey compared to non-parser point and clicks. There are many fairer games out there for the price.

One of my fondest games related memories was playing Wadjet Eye games together with my gf. Blackwell series was a favorite, we played Resonance and Gemini Rue. The art was mediocre, pixelated and unappealing, unless you were wearing your rose tinted pixelated nostalgia glasses - which I'm sure most of the WE fans looked and judged these games through. The voice overs were so-so. But art was of secondary importance - the story mattered the most. The ending of Blackwell saga was a huge disappointment, but apart from that, Wadjet Eye and their figurehead Dave Gilbert always managed to deliver a good story and solidly written characters. So when I bought Old Skies I have some expectations. And oh boy was I disappointed. Ben Chandler's art is probably the only good thing about this game - apparently Wadjet Eye finally arrived in the 21st century! No more of that lazy pixelated crap, yay! Better late than never, right? Sadly, the story - where to even begin. To call this crap woke is understatement - Old Skies is a prime example of the worst kind of cold, calculated, artificial, in your face wokism. You know it's really bad when you realize it makes that heavy handed, silly wokeness of The Last of Us series almost tolerable. The characters are bland boring and completely irrational, the time travel gimmick is ridiculous. TL;DR: If your pink/green/purple carpet gets moisty on the mention of time travel, this game will probably be a 5/10 for you. If it's not the case, then steer clear from this pathetic abomination.

There are three things I hate the most in this world: authoritarianism, stupidity and bigotry. The people who made this game are so bigoted, they would go over LGBTQ+ people's dead bodies, if it would help them to make money. And they are stupid enough to believe the identity politics are the best thing that happened to humanity! Wow. This offensive, stupid game-lookalike piece of crap isn't worthy a serious review, because it's such an obvious attempt of cash grab from deluded wokists. If one day someone will be making a list of wokist games, this one will be at the very bottom of the **** barrel. Stay away, for your own sake.

This game suffers from the ilness called wokism. If you care about the future of Earth and your fellow human beings, regardless of who they are, do not buy **** woke games like this, because it only encourages lazy opportunistic developers and their stupid and short-sighted identity politics. They are like sexual predators, they are preying on the young, weak an naive. Let's stop this disease from spreading any further.

Bad dialogue writing? Check. Cringy characters? Check. Poor design? Check. Next to none gameplay? Check. To top it off they hired a woke pink/blue parrot to help them write this pathetic excuse ****, and it shows.

Okay guys. **** looks like crap, sounds like crap and plays like crap, there is a high chance it is crap. And that's exactly the case with this wimpy weeb effort. There are tons of better platformer games for Plastation. I don't know where are all the green scores from, people are friends with the devs or what.

Boring, bland, clunky, poorly designed mary sueism. It's not even properly woke, I mean it doesn't even pretend to present the issues with conviction, it's just an excuse by some inept devs to get your money. I was gifted this crap because my mate didn't want to play it and never uninstalled a game faster.

This game will waste your time, brutally, and shamelessly, because the devs wanted to artificially prolong the boredom of player driving through the map. It will make you rage quit. It's so poorly designed and optimized it's a wonder the devs released it in this sorry state. Also the writing is bad. I get it, most of the games are poorly written these days but with this one, it's like it's written by 12yo kids. A massive waste of time. I give it 1 point for the cool idea, but it was wasted anyway.

Dying Light8

It's a zombie classic, in top 3 of zombie games apart from State of Decay 1 and ancient indie gem called Flesh Feast (I had lots of fun with Death Rising games but don't desire to play them again, other games are so-so or **** best thing about it is, once you get to know the controls (and they are smooth!) it's a pretty relaxing experience unless you playon higher lever or a DLC (the one in which you get to explore that flat building, was it a school or post office can't remember, that admittedly was crap). The first part is the most enjoyable, then you switch the location (the big map) from slums to this oriental city or whatever and it gets tedious at times. The story is crap, it's cliched af, but let's not kid ourselfves you play this to whack some zombies and jump from roof to roof. The ending is bad thats why i took 1 point away, it includes one of the worst QTE in history of gaming. Frustrating but doable. I'd probably wait for sale but it's well worth it.

The best soulslike by far. Yeah it's a **** grindfest and it will make you pull your hair out from the frustration but it is what it is. Not sure if it is worth the full price, it's for people who have tons and tons of spare time to throw away. It's not for casual players. The bits of story scattered throughout were better than in many modern **** wannabe narrative games, including the boring as **** Baldur's Gate 3, the most overrated game of the current generation. Also, it's worth playing for the visual design alone unlike BG3 and all the weeaboo crap. It shows the Japanese can do it when they want. It sets the standards. It's a milestone for the genre, that's for sure.

Worst FPS I've ever played and I played a lot of them. The campain is pathetic, it's railroaded without any room for the manouver, and the cutscenes and dialogue are cringe inducing. What's even worse, is the multiplayer. This pathetic excuse **** allows for more cheating than CS. Your skills just don't count in this game, it favors cheaters and hackers. The UI is a hot mess. The options are a million and meaningless. Most of the maps are the opposite of fun, so poorly designed and heavily favor one side over the other. If fails as a fps shooter, it fails as a battlefield simulator, it fails in every aspect. This crap **** isn't worth any money. There are many free shooters better in every aspect than this. Every person who likes this game is either a liar, a crackhead or a cheater.
