I think the biggest problem with this game - it's just more of the same with worse main story than first game. It's very fun combat set in visually appealing graphics - and that's about it. It doesn't bring much progress or improvements over the first game and such a strong year as this - it makes it fall short. In any other year, I'd probably give it 8/10, but in year with Baldur's Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Zelda TotK - it's just whole tier below those.

Worst PC port to date excused with "designing game with upscaling in mind".. On my RTX 4090 it barely goes above 60fps on native 1440p which is absolutely insulting optimization considering everything else runs at least twice as fast. Game also doesn't look anything like pushing graphics - doesn't even have ray tracing nor Lumen. When I buy such GPU - I expect high refresh rate gaming 140fps+ in 4K, not just barely hitting 60fps in 1440p and while ofc DLSS helps - as I said this is no more than excuse from lazy devs who didn't bother to optimize jack **** The real problem is - no everyone is running RTX 4090 like I do, so what about those people? Screw them devs? Or they should run 1080p with DLSS in performance (540p internal rendering)??? I get better fps in Cyberpunk 2077 with psycho RT or with Path Tracing and DLSS Quality while getting superior looks. DO NOT SUPPORT LAZY PC PORTS People have no self-respect these day whatsoever and they accept whatever turd port devs drop at them. Disgusting.

Aside of nice concept art and graphics - there's nothing there. Game is locked with FOV from CRT 4:3 era, there's forced mouse acceleration which make it vomit inducing for anyone prone to motion sickness - but ofc devs don't give a **** about any adaptability. Writing is absolute cringe, on similar level as Forspoken with evenly terrible cocky and braindead protagonist. All other characters are also equally insufferable. Lastly gameplay - it's unbalanced and painfully boring with how spongy it is, with iffy hitboxes, terrible melee and some obnoxious mechanics as fixer robots. Atomic Heart is a game that promises a lot but delivers very little. Massive disappointment, may be even the biggest in 2023 as I had some decent hopes for this one with how rare story FPS games have become. If not FOV and mouse acceleration - I'd probably give it 6, but with these two problems it's just spit in the face to PC gamers and 4/10 is about as much as it deserves.

Quarantine and having nothing to play forces to expand horizons. I was never fan of visual novels nor adult games (because those typically have nothing more to it than explicit content), but very high steam ratings made me really curious. I was pleasantly surprised, because the script is actually very well written and there is variety of characters that each feel unique and interesting in good or bad way - yep it has it's villains. There are choices, that affect how characters react to you and how events unfold. Visually it's very nicely done, there's a lot of detail in the imagery and animations that, cough, there are are pretty well done for a visual novel. What's more, it's good value game, for a 12€ there's like 15+ hours of catchy story and guilty action, why a replay value on top of it (because you can't see everything in one playthrough, unless you save scum and replay huge sections of the game). Really pleasant surprise **** and quite a guilty pleasure - and yes, explicit scenes are pretty hot.

DOOM Eternal

User Score21grams
Apr 2, 2020
The game is great, is it perfect? I don't think so. I'll start by saying, DOOM Eternal is different from its predecessor in many ways and for sure it takes some time to adapt. Sadly, while some things are for the better - some are just pointless changes that just take away from otherwise great experience. The biggest positive for me was increased difficulty and what felt like better AI - way more aggressive and way more punishing for dumb plays. I completed the game on Ultra Violence difficulty and it was really hectic and intense. The amount of enemies being thrown at you is literally insane and it's a real blast to kick some demon ass in such a fast paced fashion. And I love Marauder enemies - yeah, hate me now. However, there are some problems and I'll try to explain why this is not a 10/10 game as universally praised First of all - platforming. While I'm totally fine with that in small doses - some levels literally had more platforming and than fighting arenas and kicking demons ass. It really dragged and stalled the game for no good reason and it's not like platforming is that well done. In some sections it didn't feel very intuitive and for me it never felt cool stuff to do. Next up we have bosses - I simply found them boring with repetitive mechanics. For two final bosses - which are basically major game's bosses - you repeat same pattern and what's worse, it's not that much about the boss as controlling adds spawns and keeping up your ammo stock. It just didn't feel so exciting or interesting to be honest. The we have bloated progression and a lot of it is completely useless and seems like it was done to add illusion of complexity - while only gun mod and health, ammo caps is all that really matters. I mean more doesn't really mean better, when it's just for the sake of having more of something. Finally - I have some criticism on the pace of first 3-4 mission. With the new system, encouraging use of variety of guns - it just works badly when you have just 2-3 guns available early on, no increased ammo cap (crucial to have better fight flow) - because it feels very disruptive and kinda slow. Thankfully the tempo picks up as you progress further, acquire more weapons and mods as well as you upgrade ammo cap. Overall - it's a blast and absolutely worth buying even with a bit lackluster multi-player mode (but I didn't get the game for MP, so this wasn't even focus in the review). It's not perfect and some changes could have been handled better, but one cannot deny that this is hell of a shooter game. I don't know about you - but in my book 8/10 is a solid score meaning you can just go and grab the game right now at full price and get you worth back with hours of intense gameplay.

A TRUE MASTERPIECE THAT SETS NEW STANDARDS WITHIN GENRE! Ori and the Will of the WIsps - is emotional rollercoaster executed with perfection in gameplay mechanics. This is also step up from predecessor in every way possible. The whole game is bigger (like a lot bigger), gameplay a lot more varied, combat a lot more refined. There is greater diversity of biomes, environments, enemies and ofc greater variety of mechanics to play with. From presentation perspective - this is absolute piece of art - both visuals and OST are simply striking. It's hard to tell much more without spoiling things - so I will leave at that. The game is ESSENTIAL MUST PLAY and is likely making my TOP 5 of all time. I will be honest here - I expected a great game, but didn't expect it to surpass all, already high, expectations by that much. Ignore all negative reviews - those people obviously don't know what they're talking about. Probably COD victims taking on a game that is beyond them.

DO NOT BELIEVE HIGH SCORE REVIEWS! This game literally feels like early alpha build - and I'm completely ignoring the server fiasco on launch weeked - because bad stuff occasionally happens. The problem is, this is untested buggy and unbalanced mess **** and I'm assuring you - NOBODY TESTED ANYTHING! Many of the keystone passive on the tree do not work at all, some build archetypes do not scale into end-game at all, notably ALL SPELLS. Yes, spells are not viable for endgame at all no matter how you build them, because you'll be doing like 1/20th of the damage that certain melee or pistol builds can do. There are literally two build scaling methods that actually scale into endgame, so unless you are using very specific mechanics in your build - your build will 100% ****. I strongly recommend waiting couple of months till (perhaps) they fix it, or you'll be pulling your hair out of your head from things not working, not scaling, bugs and other problems. IT IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT, not even close. This game has potential and it has some fun ideas, but everything that comes down to mechanics and numbers behind it is one big pile of utter untested garbage. STAY AWAY FROM IT FOR NOW! I'm giving 3 points purely for cool ideas they had for it, otherwise it would be straight up 0/10. I played nearly every single diablo-like aRPG: Diablo 1, 2, 3, Torchlight 1, 2, Sacred 1, 2, all Van Helsing games, Path of Exile - and this one is singlehandedly the most unbalanced game with broken and not functioning mechanics I've experienced in any game of this genre in 20+ years, by miles. And looking at how their early access went, with whole honesty I very much doubt they are competent and willing enough to ever fix it. It honestly seems like complete blatant cash grab - they'll pretend patching the game for few weeks while there are still some sales going, then they'll just wash of their hands and abandon it - because that's what dirty devs do. I'm not 100% sures, but they did everything in their power to make such impression. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ tl;dr Broken, buggy and unbalanced mess - 3/10 just for few cool ideas - AVOID unless they fix it. A good writing and voice acting, not so good everything else. Lets start by stating, that good writing doesn't make it a good game on its own for me, because game has so many more elements to it that add up to overall experience. I will also note, that there will be lots of references to Fallout games since these games have a lot on common and are very alike in many areas. Oh, and it's relatively bug free. I've had to reload only one quest. Having that out of the way, lets start from good stuff, which is as I already said is just writing and its expression thru voice acting. It is very well done for the story as well for the character and voice acting is extremely good. The dialogues are well put together and there are so many options within them and ton of them are not quest related - you can talk about opinions, you can talk characters past, etc. It's just solid in every way and I don't think many people will be disappointed with the writing. Now sadly, it's where the good thing end. I will start from least bad things and progress as different game aspects get worse and worse. Role play is really bland for me. Sure you can shoot everyone you please and be done with that character, however - if you're solving matters in more civil ways - it all kinda falls apart because how easy is to pass all checks if you smartly place skill points and balance companions. You literally become god of all trades: lie - no problem, persuade - no problem, charm - no problem, use medical expertise - no problem, etc.. You pass the check for every single character trait and because of it, it doesn't feel like you are building a unique character and what's worse - with how the game and everything play out - game puts strong incentive to be all around character. For example, if you rush persuasion to 100, all you'll do is wasting skill points, because such high persuasion won't come into use until last parts of the game. Then we have combat and gear. Armors and weapons are quite dull and boring for the most part. There is no excitement in finding basically anything. Then the gunplay is just barely okayish, shooting feedback and how guns sound are just mediocre at best and while time slow feels better and more interesting than VATS, rest of the gunplay is really worse than Fallout, especially worse than Fallout 4 - which is like 3 years old game by now. It's not the worst I've seen but definitely one of the worst in a game with 60€ price tag (I know you can get it on MS game pass, but the retail price is still 60€). Now a bit about the quests. Some are great, most are good, but there are also typical fetch quests that lack any substance and any feeling of importance whatsoever and this is very disappointing honestly. It really does fill like filler content at times - it's like "oh, this area feels a bit empty in activities, lets throw in some generic quest to fill this gap" and this really distracts from otherwise great writing and good story progression. Finally we a arrive at graphics and overall - it looks dated, very on budget and rather bland in general. Now the best in all of it are settlements, some look pretty good and the building interiors look alright. But boy, when you go outside into wilds (or how do I call it) - it's nearly dreadful. It literally feels like No Man's Sky - from terrain, thru vegetation to animals. Especially animals are so ridiculously bad, almost like those toys you people buy to swimming pool (funny looking purple reptile and similar nonsense). It's just bad and it gets even worse with the extreme color palettes - on one side it's very tiresome on your eyes because of extreme levels of saturation and on the other side it blends everything - especially humanoid enemies. And if that's not enough - with how mediocre and dated it looks from graphics perspective - it also has some severe performance issues - from certain areas heavily tanking your average fps by significant margins to occasional stutters on any hardware (even top end PCs) and in some rarer cases persistent micro-stutter. Summing up - if you can ignore most of the game aspects quality and are able to focus purely on writing - go and buy it, but if you value all game aspects being on pretty good level - you may be very disappointed, because it's just not that good as some praise it to be. Also, I feel like this game lacks unique identity, because too many times it just feels way "too Fallout". 6/10 is top I can give and even that is pretty generous with all the critique I've put up.

Yes, Microsoft store ****, but don't spill your anger on game because of it. Game is great and it's hard to find a better arcade racing game than forza horizon. It doesn't take self too seriously, but also not to absurd levels (yes, the driving physics are extremely good for arcade racing game), aims for fun factor and it delivers. 4th installment in the series is an improvement over predecessor in every single way - first of all, seasons are game changer. It not only adds diversity and vibe to the game, but also changes a lot how the game plays and how individual cars handle during each season. Next, they changed how you progress thru the game - no more unlocking festival sites, you can now stick with your favorite race time without necessity to do various race types to unlock next festival chapters - basically each race type operates now individually. The also added few new race types / story episodes. It's now a proper sandbox where you do what you want at any time. Online component got also improvements, basically clubs, more ways for pvp interaction - and I didn't even fully explore online features yet (because the game is massive with lots of different things to do. The game also runs a lot better than predecessor while looking absolutely stellar overall, however there some minor issues with texture streaming (mainly ground and foliage) - they don't affect performance, but they hinder visual fidelity when textures streaming lags and you get it popping up in your face basically. The other issue is the sound of certain cars being a bit off, but someone who is not car enthusiast in real life probably will not even notice it. Lastly - the implementation o wheel support is not great - I can't speak for myself, since I only play with controller, but that's the complaint I've heard from friends that have tried a wheel. All in all - this very fun and engaging arcade racing game. It's all about fun and it delivers. If you don't wish to own game permanently, you can just use game pass and pay for as much as you need - and for 10bucks/month - it's a steal basically (plus if you never used game pass service, you get 14day free trial).

The puzzles are very fun to solve and environment manipulation and how it is done it's not something I've experienced before - so this feels very refreshing and original. It's quite simple yet clever game and I enjoyed it a lot. Downsides - well it wasn't much for me, but for others it may be to short for the asked price. However, there is promise of a free dlc, which will add more levels. Solid 9/10 (a 9, because I haven't rated any game a 10 yet).

It's decent game and decent remake, but sadly it's a bit boring and tedious and combat is just not great. Basically the story could be written in 3 sentences - it's extremely short. The game is then extended by forcing you to run back and forth for keys and similar things that enable you moving to the next area, rinse and repeat while not adding to the story at all in between - which makes game drag and feel tedious and boring a lot of the time. The we have combat which is just piss poor bullet sponge shooting range. If upgrades shotgun at point blank doesn't always blow the head off for basic zombie - it says it all and basic handgun - oh boy - it's 5-8 headshots to kill anything.. Then there are few bosses which also **** - but it's hard to describe them without spoilers - all I can tell you basically kite them around loading all ammo you have into them to then execute in a silly way - because someone thought it's fun but IT'S NOT. The game is very atmospheric and climatic (but sadly not scary at all) overall and brings back that old school game nostalgia, but sorry - it's not 10/10 or even 8/10. Anyone saying that way is straight up lying to your face because he is massive fanboy of RE series most likely. It's not bad game, but it's not as amazing as others say. So much anticipation yet so much disappointment. It's decent game, especially if you're willing to wait for a sale, however it really doesn't live up to a hype it got. Pros: - Story and lore - tho I'm not fan of direct storytelling. I preferred Bloodborne and Dark Souls storytelling where you have dig deep to figure out what's going on and why, but it's good enough, - Good music score, not on the level of DS3 or BB, but fits the setting very well, builds tension and does other things good music score supposed to do. - Level design - it's just great, high versatility, a lot of things to discover, use environment to your advantage - challenge and difficulty - here they did not **** up. It will put you to the test like hell. Cons: - Combat is just not good for one simple reason. Everything is based on breaking posture by spamming attack (on weaker enemies) or deflecting and countering stronger enemies - rinse and repeat, it's just tedious and boring. On some rare occasion you can get leverage with one of special tools you unlock - but that's about it. - Character building is very simplistic, basically on the level of older Assassin's Creed games - find thing X to unlock tool, plus you have few skills to unlock at your disposal - that's it. There are no weapons to find, no armor to find - all the loot are upgrade components and consumables - which feels just very linear without any impactful decision making. -Graphics look dated, tho some of the artstyle is pretty good and there are some weird fps drops out of thin air (I suspect it has something to do with poor LOD and texture streaming), no ultra-wide support, game doesn't tolerate 2nd monitor and will cut performance severely until you unplug it, there are also some issues on Intel CPUs where having turbo boost enabled hinders performance severely - so pretty mediocre PC port to say the least. - Can't see any replay value (except maybe speed running) - because as I mentioned there is not enough diversity in character building (you won't make a different build to enjoy different combat experience - everything is just to thin and basic), there is no online component (so obviously no pvp) - there is just nothing worthwhile for a second playthrough to be seen. So yeah, don't believe all those 9s and 10s out of 10. The game is nowhere near on the brilliance of Dark Souls or Bloodborne. It feels like watered down and streamlined action game with very little diversity and choice making at your disposal. If not technical issues and piss poor PC port lacking basic features that should be standard in 2019, I'd give it 7/10, but with technical issues and other problems I mentioned in cons section - 6/10 is max I can rate it. Note: 6/10 means it's a pretty decent game but with some problems. See the difference is - for IGN and other crap outlets, 6/10 is equal to garbage game - personally I utilize full scale and thus it means it's not bad game at all - more like disappointing a bit. tl;dr: I suggest to wait for sale, at

UPDATED - I will leave first impressions and add final notes at the end. ========================================================== FIRST IMPRESSION (was 6/10) The game looks good and feels very atmospheric - as one would expect from Metro game. The shooting feels great and guns handle very well. Story opening felt very interesting to me, but will see how this rolls out. Visually it's quite impressive, very high attention to detail, but at the same time some locations feel a bit lackluster and uninspired - but overall, game looks really great, Sadly the game is not so great on technical side of things. There are some performance issues, but foremost there is quite a lot of glitches and bugs, also severe audio issues which take away quite a lot from immersion. Also it doesn't seem to support anything wider than 16:9, it lacks some key settings on PC one could expect from such major game in 2019 (like FOV slider, turning off motion blur, etc). It really needs quite a few patches, so better wait. I grabbed this while I could on steam, so at least that - but in current situation - my advise would be to wait, at least for few patches and maybe even steam release (or rather re-release - because it was pulled off to shill with Epic Fail Store) next year. ==================================================== FINAL NOTE (after completing game) The game turned out better than I expected. It's quite a canonical journey filled with moral choices of which - many are not that apparent. The world is very immersive and it being more open in several chapters only adds to immersion with a lactation diversity and different year seasons. The gunplay is improved a lot upon predecessors with quite a variety of weapons to chose from and very nice customization options. All in all it's great game and quite a ride. As final negatives I would name: 1) All culmination action happens in non-interactive cutscenes (not the live action) and it feels like game is taking control from you in best moments, thus takes a fun away. Slightly disappointing and a bit lazy design sadly. 2) Dialogue (or rather should I say monologue for most part) delivery felt quite dated without any interaction from Artyom in any conversation. 3) Epic store exclusive - it's great game with anti-consumer exclusivity on a story with bs policies, lack of features, poor consumer support. Only small chunk of us got away with pre-orders on steam. I never pre-order but they leave me no choice. 4) as mentioned in early impressions - lack of certain options in settings.

It's not bad survival game, but it isn't great either. While crafting and building has so many options, building in particular is way too grindy. The amount of materials needed for building is totally absurd. Survival games should encourage building, not the opposite and frankly this is the case with The forest. I mean when you need to chop like 30 trees just of a simple hut - you don't want to bother with that anymore... If you wanted to do some custom more fancy building - we are talking about hundreds of trees to cut - that is absolutely insane. The next complaint I have is about story.. First - the game lacks logs, tapes, on other stuff that would **** you into what's going on and make you actually care. The did very terrible job at this and lazy one, because there are very few sources of information and those don't even touch the subject of reasoning behind everything that is going on. Final complaint are the endings - there are two and both are complete rubbish. One cuts a massive shortcut and the other one isn't even a proper ending. I think devs were lazy on this department, even for limited budget title they honestly could have done way more.

Disclaimer: I bought the game with release of patch 1.3 with hopes game is finally playable, but it's not entirely true. I completed around 30-40% of the game and it's unplayable due to a technical bug - basically my screen shakes like crazy whenever I move or turn camera. Plus there some other graphical glitches, clipping and performance is iffy in some locations (-3pts because I technically cannot continue without a patch) The other complaint I'm having is that game feels like far from finished, more like early access or early beta version. This naturally includes various bugs and graphical glitches - and there is still quite a lot of them - tho only one mentioned in disclaimer is completely game breaking - others either have workarounds or can be ignored since they are not extremely intrusive. Some things simply just do not work - like some perks or learning of those perks or combos. Then we have combat system that severely lacks polishing - it's quite unresponsive, problematic forced target locking which makes fights one vs many very dodgy to say the least and controls of the combat could get some major improvements - in other words, idea for the combat system wasn't bad, but execution severely lacked development time. Then we have some systems that don't make much logical sense: necessity to eat is absolutely pointless, because there are free meal pots and that renders all other food obsolete. Next system that doesn't make sense is stealing - basically everything is considered stolen (except what you loot from defeated foes) regardless if there was witness or not, hell even items you take from abandoned camps are considered stolen. And the worst part is - how easily you can sell stolen items - either you sell it to "black market" vendor or just go to town in different region. These two systems are not immersive completely. (-2pts) Now some good things - I'll start by saying, that if not what was talked above, game would be easily 9/10 - but it's one of most rushed out and unpolished games I've played since Skyrim? I think writing is really good, with nice humor and interesting characters. Quests for the most part are done well with more or less interesting backstory (some are crazy good and funny), with just few being real fetch. Game world is beautiful tho feels bit empty and vast at times (not a big issue, but sign of lack of development time). I like progression system which is basically practice based - as you do certain activities you gain experience for certain stats and you become better at those activities (so no silly skill points you distribute at random), there are only perks which slightly alter or extend your specific abilities and I like that a lot. Summary: it's quite good game but sadly extremely rushed to release with tons of bugs and glitches and despite fact that around 500 of them been fixed with patch 1.3, there are still game breaking stuff left (or maybe introduced in 1.3) like the one I talked about in disclaimer leaving player with nothing but waiting for the next patch. It's real shame good games are ruined by terrible state there are released in. Some people may find my verdict cruel, but sorry - paid AAA price for it and I'm treating it like any other AAA release. For $60 I find such game state (with bugs making me unable to continue) completely disgusting (thus -3pts for this one alone) and now I have to wait hell knows how much longer for next patch to be able to finish the game. Also lack of polish and logic in some systems that either are so pointless that become unnecessary chore or are just annoying and intrusive for basically no reason. Also allegedly game is missing some bits (some say it's missing whole act) which most like to be released in DLC (probably paid one) or even a sequel (which is even worse) so I have to cut at least another 2pts for these. (so -5pts total). Maybe one day it'll be nice and bug free game with some quality polish, but as things stand now I strongly advise not to ruin your experience and wait with your buys. Technical state of the game is still unacceptable.

I don't know what people see in this game. For me it was dullest game if played this year so far (wish I had will to write reviews for all of them to give a better contrast). There is barely anything standing out with this game so there is no need to in deep so I will make it short with pros and cons only. Pros: - Nemesis system - I must say it's only engaging part of the game. Without it, this would be one of the worst games in last decade. - Orc presentation and narrative. - Quite fun action combat, but due to amounts of orcs you slay, it gets tiresome after a while. Cons: - graphics - very dated and quite ugly overall presentation - world design - very unimpressive, copy/paste objects at random locations - done. - mouse acceleration - really? This is issue since prequel, still they did not manage to implement raw input. - barely existent story - you do same thing over and over, which is slaying orcs and you get to watch cinematic from time to time. - repetitive missions - it simply a set of few different types of quests/activities that repeats over and over throughout the whole game, which makes gameplay experience very dull and boring. - act 4 is doing same thing 10 time just to see final cinematic (commonly called true ending) - I was already bored to death after whole game being utterly repetitive, so I quit the game after siege #3 and simply watched true ending on YT (best gaming decision in my life!) - Cutout DLC that should be in main game. - Microtransactions in SP games which feel enforced by gating true ending behind dull and boring grind. If you must buy this game - don't feed this greedy published with any more money. One - you encourage similar behavior this way in the future. Two - its not worth, you can watch true ending cinematic on YT and save either time or money. This loot box/cache thing in fully priced games (especially singleplayer) needs to stop. Summing up, it's overly repetitive and dull game and only nemesis systems gives some brighter moments in this whole melancholic experience.. I cannot recommend this to anyone, don't buy it and don't encourage similar behavior from WB in the future. My game copy came with graphics card (special nvidia bundle). Just ingore its existence and move on, absolute waste of time with minimal fun value. 4/10 only just for funny orcs and nemesis system.

The Evil Within 2 has a truly great concept and story to tell, in my opinion it's one of most original horror action games you can buy. It's twisted and will mess with your mind a lot. It has decent enough gameplay (Sebastian - main characters could be less clumsy as former cop/detective) and good exploration - where unlike prequel, this game has few open hub areas and it serves the game well. Now I would rate it higher but I can't - because.... BETHESDA!!! The game is built on the same, slightly modified engine as the first one - and it's truly is not a great engine and this game comes with problems. As of date of this review, fullscreen doesn't work - regardless what it says you are put in borderless window, GPU is not being utilized - game uses up to 80% GPU horsepower, very often far less than that, some players experience micro-stuttering on some hardware configurations. Despite it's a lot better from technical perspective than first game, I cannot ignore problems and have to take those into consideration when rating a game (-1 from rating). As for non-technical problems, voice acting quite bad for some characters (mostly side characters) and dialogue animations are straight terrible - luckily it's not RPG so there is not that much of them. Also one open zone is reused with just tiny variation and you have to dig through it twice. So this also have be reflected on final score (-1 from rating). All in all, it's great game and one you must experience because honestly it's one of the kind, especially if you like **** stories and and twisted storytelling. If you don't mind small but relatively apparent technical problems - grab it now, otherwise - wait maybe for sale, maybe they will patch thing or two until then, but i strongly recommend to any fan of genre to experience the game, it's really worth!

Larian Studios strike again with massive cRPG game and if you love this genre - you have to play this one. It's pure game as it gets, no micro-transaction bullcrap, no day 1 dlc, nothing - just a brilliant game made with passion. Obviously the game is not perfect, no game is and nothing is, but it's bloody good. You start the game you are not hand-held by anything, you figure you way thru and do your things your own way. You have plenty of option to choose from, starting from your own character - you have many playstyles to choose from: fighter, summoner, necromancer, archer, rogue assassin, mage of 4 different forces of nature, polymorphy and you combine those anyway you like to make a truly unique build and experience in gameplay. You can create your own character from scratch or play one of the 6 origin characters. The origin characters serve as fantastic companions to choose from as well, all of them being different and unique in personality and special abilities. All companions have a unique storyline to experience. The quests, dialogue writing and exploration feel really good and thru your gameplay you'll be accompanied with brilliant music written this time by a new composer (Borislav Slavov) and it's up to par with original composer that worked for Larian for so many years, but sadly passed away soon after prequel of this game came out (rest in piece Kirill Pokrovsky). Unlike many other cRPG - this one is fully voice acted for all NPC and a narrator and it ads to immersion - believe me! Combat is one of the best in cRPG games in my honest opinion. It's tactical turn-based combat, but it's not hexagon map based. Instead you only have range units that limit you how far you can move your character or how far you can reach with your skills and how big area you can cover - this way it feels more natural. Each turn your party characters get set amount of action points and there your tactics begin on how to use them - whether to strike some damage, crowd control enemies, buff you or your party member, or move your character to a new position. On top of that - you can combo elements for extra effects: fire + oil = massive explosions, etc. You can use environment to your advantage or it can be used by the enemy against you - so play smart, every decision matters and has consequences. You cannot ask for a better combat in cRPG. Ofc there are few minor problems with the game - a minor bug here and there, but nothing impacting your experience a lot and story is not the best I've seen in genre, but it's solid enough to **** you in. I didn't play 10/10 game yet (because it would have to be absolutely perfect in every way - that's how strict I am) but Divinity Original Sin 2 is close one. My 9/10 would be 10 for most reviewers out here. If you are looking for fantastic adventure without being held by your hand - the game is for you. If your are looking for modern cRPG - Divinity Original Sin 2 should be your prime choice!

Based on public reactions I was not gonna buy the game and I still wouldn't. I only got to play the game because a friend who pre-ordered is on delegation and he gave access to his account. I knew a lot of what to expect form the game already, but still I was trying to explore basically everything, until the issues got me and I was rushing the main story more and more and more just to be done with it. So here we go: Pros: - Environmental graphics - although there are some issues at times, for the most part it's absolutely stunning. This is the best looking space game to date, and tho there are not that many spaces games out there, believe me, some views will leave your jaw open, it can be really breath taking. - Combat - it's just great and dynamic, you have a lot of stuff (guns, powers, skills) to play with and customize your build, I think this is more fun than most shooter games out there. The small criticism I have here is dumb AI of your squad and lack of option to control them better - Main story - I wasn't intending to put it under the pros, but the story itself isn't bad all. It's nothing amazing, but it's perfectly alright. I wan't gonna list it under the pros, but I decided to split it from general writing, as such, understand "main story" as the events that happen in the game without its delivery. Cons: - Facial animations and character looks - this one is obvious one, it ****, it feels dated, it feels unfinished and unpolished. It's worse than ME1. Facial animations are weird, disturbing and can make you feel uncomfortable. Character looks also has a lot to be desired. The worst part are the eyes - a cold, oversized eyeballs staring at you like the characters wouldn't have eyelids. It can look really scary and awkward. To quickly sum up, human characters (alien ones are much better done) feel more like androids or zombies than people. Character creation is also terrible - it feels like **** factory more than actual character creator. - writing - I will split it in few sections here. First, the character writing. I was not expecting this from Bioware, because the absolutely majority of them are basically puddle shallow generic, dull, emotion less characters with boring backgrounds. One the most boring character writing I've seen in video games (especially RPG) in past decade (not counting garbage like steam green light trash). Next is dialogue writing, which also has negative impact on main story delivery, which as already mentioned - is not that bad. To be perfectly honest, at times I would think the dialogues are written by a 10 year old. There are so many overly cheesy and pointless lines for an AAA game. Some of the lines are have even bad sentence structure and for such you would get F (or lowest equivalent degree) even in elementary school. This feels more like initial draft than final writing. - voice acting - not all of it is that bad, but overall a lot of voice actors just read the text without any intonation and emotion, just like a student reading of the powerpoint slides show during some presentation nobody has interest in. - User Interface (UI) - absolutely disgusting. I feel like it's done on purpose to waste my time with multi-layer sub-menus and overall awkward design. - Music - it's just lazy and boring and for most of the time there is no background music. The one is there - doesn't build the moment up at all. - Side missions - absolute most of it is boring fetch that has no real effect on your game progression. It's very repetitive structure kill the immersion and I'd rather just free-roam instead of going from point A to B to C and pressing a button, or picking up some irrelevant item. - Bug and glitches - there is quite a lot of them, it's various clipping issues, terrible graphical+physics glitches, like falling down thru floors, NPC standing in the air, or sinking in the ground and many more. So, it's pretty bad and no doubt a huge disappointment in ME franchise. At this point I strongly recommend not to buy it if you have at least some self-respect. Sure environments look cool and combat is really fun, story itself is also not that bad, but for me these are secondary aspects and the primary aspects (characters, writing, voice acting and overall presentation) are from bad to terrible. So the absolute maximum I can give is 4 out 10 and even with that I kinda feel merciful.

If you played previous Dark Souls games you know what to expect so I'm not going into detail on this. The game is great but not everything is perfect. I like they bumped up the tempo and pace, it definitely makes the game more fun and I would rate it higher if not the bosses. In my opinion, they did pretty poor job with the bosses on their lazy design. Basically the issue is as follows: some bosses are way too easy to the point you can nearly ignore everything they do, some are rather well balanced - hard but with good learning curve to beat them and some are basically hard because non stop spam of attacks, where you basically dodge 10 times in 10s with small gaps to get another round of spam - you get tired or fall asleep because of this routine and you die just because of that. Frankly I find this lame and lazy design. So basically some bosses should have been clever and harder and some should be more tactical than spamy, Other than that the game lives up to its expectations and it's sad this franchise ends. This is rewritten review, because I came to conclusion I was too harsh with my critique with my initial review and I should be more fair with it.

There is not much to talk about this game because it doesn't really have much on offer. So I will get straight to pros and cons: Pros: - detailed environments - nostalgic - can be climatic, but sadly inconsistently - well calculated resources, so you need use it efficiently - feels catching enough despite many cons. Cons: - disjointed gameplay, half of the game is hide and seek puzzle solving, second half is COD shooter - disjointed storyline that feels written in 10 minutes while doing a thing in a toilet. - poorly developed and poorly presented characters - excessive backtracking and re-use of content with video tapes. - graphics from technical standpoint feel underwhelming (poor textures, bad anti-aliasing solutions, inconsistent lighting) - personally, I didn't feel any horror and didn't found enough tension I was looking for. - lazy enemy design and extremely few enemy types

Not everything is bad about Mafia 3 but it's not a good game either. If this was one more year in development, they could have pull something decent out of it. First, it came out with this disrespectful 30fps lock. After removing it, turned out - it's not very well optimized. Also it looks pretty ugly, luckily you can fix it a bit with reshade filter (removes blur, sharpens image, fixes color palette). The next issue is gameplay - it's disjointed from the story and story telling it feels almost like you are doing fetch side quests in MMO. It's utterly repetitive. Now boss kill missions are a bit more diverse and are more connected to storytelling, but that's frankly not enough. Moving next to a story itself - ideologically it's not bad, but it's not developed enough, it's very straight forward, it lacks plot twists and bit of expansion into more directions. Actually it's just enough because very good narrative and story telling compensates a lot for rather weak plot development.. But with a bit of imagination, more connected gameplay this story could have been pretty solid. The areas where Mafia 3 delivers is already mentioned story telling, characters (tho not all of them) and music. Soundracks are really fabulous and they picked most memorable tracks of that time period - I really loved the music in this game. Characters are great - Lincoln and especially Donovan are brilliant, I think these two alone (combined with great voice acting) carried this game out from red rating for me - father James while might appear a bit strange - I thing thematically fits very well here and plays important role in enlightening what kind of story this game is trying to tell. Secondary characters (villains) are also pretty good, they could bring more light on them, but since 80% of gameplay was unrelated - there was no time for it. Finally a bit disappointing are your assets - they have interesting background and good cast, but they stay in the shadow completely thru all of the game - they should have been incorporated more into the game and the story. Overall the ending is pretty satisfying as such. It basically tests if you learned something from this story or not (it has 3 major endings, of which one splits into three possible sub-outcomes). This game had potential, but it was rushed out in pretty bad shape, but not everything is that bad about it.

A WASTED POTENTIAL. First of all, the PC port is pretty bad. And while game maxed out looks pretty neat, yet the performance is all over the place and you need solid PC to even bother with the game. Now by default you get upscaled resolution, but the games looks quite bad with it at any settings (overly blurry and not sharp). Turning off upscaling (meaning game renders in set resolution) basically cuts performance by half. On top of that, game feels laggy at times even at 50-60fps, while other times it feels more responsive even during fps drops. The game had massive potential, great idea, good core of the story are already there, but there were some bad decisions and design choices made, that hurt the game severely: - TV show + game - bad idea and while it's not the worst tv show out there, yet it was interrupting game flow severely. - Terrible gameplay design - very repetitive. Basically you do some platforming, get to an open area, beat some bullet spongy bad guys - and repeat. Now while time manipulation powers are cool to play with, gunplay ruins it all - which is very primitive, with clumsy movement and shooting controls, to the point where game doesn't even feel responsive. They should have do more story telling thru gameplay (now 90% of it is done in the cutscenes and notes you find thru out the game), that would make gameplay more interesting and diverse, because now you just fight exactly the same dudes over and over again in the same manner every single time and there is nothing more to it.. It could have been great game, but Remedy chose a bad path and we've got a product which is neither a proper game, neither a proper tv show.. Too much cinematic bullcrap, when you make a game, you can't forget it's a game and it needs solid gameplay and this game doesn't have it.

This game could have been great, if not cliche story and once again collectibles spam. The whole presentation is fantastic and it adds thrill with QTE when climbing. Visuals are really nice, it's one of the better looking games, tho my minor complaint is worse performance in Geothermal Valley zone compared to the rest of the game. The gameplay is really fine, you have bow, pistol, riffle and shotgun so this combined with perk system and weapon upgrades gives quite enough diversity in combat and how you approach each situation. If you played a previous installment, this is pretty much the same with new setting to explore and new story, witch few changes here and there (mainly upgrade and perk system are a bit better here. However, I can't give more than 7 because as I already mentioned, the story is a bit cliche and a lot of gameplay time is being pushed thru collectibles and there is a lot of them. The worst part is that collectibles require constant backtracking since you can't access some without some tools which you get after progressing much further into main story. This really destroys flow of the game. Second complaint about collectibles - they are nearly meaningless (very small benefit from certain collectibles). I don't understand how lazy developers became, because you can make even basic content filler, such as collectibles really fun. Pros: - Visuals - Setting - Gameplay and presentation Cons: - Cliche story - dull and uninspired content filler - collectibles.

Shortly: the SP campaign is 9/10 easily, but since MP is basically a dumpster I have to cut a piece since it's aggregated score (and I'm being very generous by cutting only one point, but why not if SP campaign is really great). So if you like old-school shooters and don't mind paying what it costs for 12-15hour SP campaign alone (don't put hopes into MP, really) - you must play this game. SP campaign is absolute blast. From the very fist moment I picked it up - I was caught up in nostalgia, because they don't make such games anymore - it's just COD, COD spam every year.. The gameplay is what you would expect from DOOM - it just feels good to slay the demons. The weapon assortment is great and BFG is damn awesome and level design is excelent with many secrets to discover. The game runs just great, I hit over 100fps on everything maxed out on mid-range gpu RX470 in 1080p. What's bad about DOOM? Well not much to be honest, if you imagine there is no MP, the only downsides are a bit clunky to read map (on levels with multiple vertical layers) and a bit uninspired weapons and armor upgrade systems. If you are looking for old-school FPS fun - this is must buy game.

Note: I'm updating my review with the addition of competitive mode (updated part of review is in "UPDATE" section. It's a nice shooter from Blizzard, not to serious, not to cheesy. For me, person who hates military shooters this title suits well. The game is very fast paced and there is always some action going on, which is great. Pros: - Pretty good and consistent artstyle - Cool heroes with distinct abilities - Fluid and polished combat - Simple to pick up, but has enough depth to not get bored quickly - Great performance even on older machines - Engaging gameplay centered on objectives. Pros: - Game suffers from not that good netcode with only ~20Hz tickrate - No ranked (competitive mode) on release (being reworked and patched in at a later date) - Hero stacking can be frustrating at times One more thing is that people complain about it's business model. Personally I like buy to play model, with some cosmetic micro-transaction. If this had pay-walls or grind-walls with f2p model, I would not even play it. I hate that in hearthstone and hate that in Heroes of the Storm. With Overwatch, you can take few months break and don't fall behind compared to other people - all heroes (including upcoming ones) are available right of the bat, same goes for maps and game modes and what not - basically all content, apart cosmetics (which is not any in-game advantage whatsoever). But this is fun game, especially to play with friends (but it's okay too when playing with random people). If you look for hardcore competitive game with advanced mechanics and lot of depth - this games is probably not for you, in other case - I can recommend it. UPDATE!!! (mostly about competitive mode) I initially gave it weak 8/10. But since Blizzard patched in competitive mode (aka ranked system) I've decided to update my review. Basically competitive mode is in broken state. There are serious bugs (or maybe design choice) related to how your rank progression is calculated. As notable example, if you win the competitive game, and there is a leaver (person who abandoned game), regardless if you are on affected team or not, in any winner gets barely no rank progress (in comparison on average it's more than 50% of rank progress, with a leaver it's less than 10%), but you always lose full amount of progress regardless if some leaver screws your game. 1week in, still no response on this issue. Additionally, people with 60% or greater winrate can fall in ranks just like that. Matchmaking is terrible, especially for solo people and small party groups. Most games are either you stomp the enemy or you are being stomped. Close games are scarce. The competitive mode is plagued with leavers (which can basically can leave as they please, because you have to abuse it to get even slightest penalty), griefers (who basically play the game their own way ignoring team's interest), trolls and all kind of people that will ruin you the fun of competing with other players. On top of that if game ends in draw, you basically play a coin flip, because draw is played on asymmetric map, where one side gets attack and other defense (that is not 50/50 chance to win). It's not a super competitive game when you go heavy try-hard mode, but competitive mode is competitive, even with casual aspects, but in current iteration it's absolutely broken and it will cause you only frustration due to multiple bugs and/or design flaws. Because the only long-term value is competitive mode (which should give you progression system and goals to achieve) and it's broken I'm changing my verdict from 8 to 5/10. Even if you look at this game more casually and intend to play just like 1-2 weeks per season, still some things can't be ignored and I eventually would not recommend it at this point.

I'm re-writing this review after beating the game (giving slightly higher score than initially) So this game was rushed with release and has many problems, it doesn't feel completely finished and polished. So you should seriously consider whether to buy it in such state or wait for more serious patching. THE BAD. 1) this game has serious optimization issues - the fps in this game is all over the place, jumps between 25 and 80 on decent rig that tops recommended settings by quite some (and not, it's not even max settings). Anti-aliasing solutions are super heavy taxing, except FXAA which is good as nothing. The game has no triple buffering for vsync, and because fps is very unstable, you jump between 30 and 60 periodically, or if you decide to turn off vsync, you have massive screen tearing - again because of very unstable fps. The game runs poorly, even it's not visually exceptional in any way. And this game is not even a consolish port done by some 3rd party rookie studio. 2) Glitchy camera, some weird issues with line of sight and other minor issues that were not resolved from previous installment. Like shouting thru walls, floors and other objects which are confusing and break the immersion. 3) the game has some very bad design choices and some balance issues. Timed missions are very badly designed, they not make the game much harder, but definitely make it more stupid and leave with less options for your strategy and tactical decisions. 4) Balance is bad in a lot of cases only because of how poorly RNG is designed, which acts in very weird way - you can reload multiple times and same action will have same result - RNG is predefined, the dice is not rolled when you take specific action.. I failed a mission because I missed 95% at point blank situation (seriously), there was no time for backup plan since it was timed mission.. There are so many things in this game that don't increase the difficulty fairly, but instead make it unfairly frustrating. THE GOOD. Now with some more and less serious issues this game still can be good and fun. Overall mission design is great, tho later on I'd say it becomes easier and easier as you progress (except maybe final mission which I liked a lot, now this is what I call proper challenge). The customization is satisfying and you unlock many items and gadgets to play with. Game is pretty flexible here. Now gameplay itself would be really great if not earlier mentioned glitches and weird RNG, but it's manageable. Also I loved the whole presentation, they put good effort into it - like mission launcher, returning from mission, showing injured squad members etc. There is a lot of nice detail to it. Final note: I don't thing games in such state should be released. Things should be sold when they are finished and meet certain criteria of overall quality. I was even considering a refund, because I don't like to pay for unfinished games and here is that case. So if someone still consider buying it, think twice about issues this game has!

This game is one big disappointment. The game doesn't look good (event terrible at times) ant it literally feels very dated. I wouldn't care that much about graphics if it could compensate in other areas, but it simply doesn't. From technical standpoint, this game is not suitable for PC - no FOV slider (locked at consolish 80), weird mouse acceleration, different camera speeds for X and Y axis - luckily you can fix that by messing with config files manually. But not including these options in UI is disrespect to PC platform. Game also looks pretty bad, textures are simply terrible, character detail is absent, I've seen tons of indie games that look better and are more polished. UI - well nothing had change, as bad as it was, very uncomfortable to use and browsing inventory (which is one big mess) is simply waste of time. Dialogues are lame, and with voice actor, the choices are absolutely ridiculous: yes, no, maybe, sarcastic, just wow... 20hours into the game I haven't met an interesting character yet - all feel very generic and all are like emotionless robots, not human beings at all. Quests make me fall asleep - they feel like a MMO quests just with some dialogues here ant there, but they don't have any interesting story background - we need you to clear that spot from riders - isn't that amazing? I'm falling asleep within 1-2hour of gaming session. Once again, Bethesda confirms it's one of the most overrated companies in triple A market. It's basically a Fallout 3 with dumped down dialogs and some new effects for graphics which event don't make the game look and feels any better. This game is huge let down, now I feel MGS 5 was way better game with its half content missing and being unfinished, which was considered biggest disappointment of 2015, well I think Fallout 4 is bigger fail than MGS5 was. I would not recommend buying this game at current price and until modders will fix all this crap which should be already made and polished by the developers. In short, this ain't a 60eur (triple A priced) game at all.

I'm giving it weak 8 and it seems like overrated game, I mean by critics - 9.5/10 or more, seriously? So: The good: - very good optimization, runs like hell even on toasters while having decent graphics, nothing amazing, but it's really okay for this kind of game. - mind blowing amount of weapons, tools and other stuff to play around. - fairly decent enemy AI - good and challenging stealth mechanics - some nice humor here and there, some seriously shocking moments as well The bad: - open world here is a joke, empty and absolutely not utilized - base, few outposts here ant there and nothing in between. - environment reuse - you do main mission in certain base/outpost, then you do like 5 side ops in the same base. This is dreadful design in open world game - starting points are ridiculous, you land like 1000+ meters away from your destination, just to run that distance in completely empty world. It's so pointless. - some serious cliches in the plot where you think "wtf snake..? (or I should say wtf Kojima?!?) - game goes downhill in its second half (first half is way more solid). - ridiculous mission rankings, where most important thing is mission time, which conflicts with your interest of expanding the base (grinding materials) - online FOB's **** because too much cheaters with unlimited resources (like 500k of each material) and wtf microtransactions.. Conlusion: it's still a decent game and best stealth game in a long time, but at the same time it's far far away from a masterpiece (critics must have been drunk, or did the reviews based on like 5 missions). It feels almost clunky and unresponsive and for my taste, it's to much team play oriented which is bad in several ways: you feel less impactful, playing solo can be extremely frustrating (way more than in LoL or Dota) and shared experience is just plain stupid idea, Game has also several technical issues, like unstable fps with even significant drops, issues with reconnect after getting DC. Even games has sever different maps to play, witch different objectives it feels all games are the same, objective after objective - there's not much freedom and strategy involved, it's basically all about how well you cooperate with teammates, and falling behind is more common point of no return than in other MOBAs, because you can't carry weaker players and loosing few objectives gives enemy team insane power spike. One more thing, being heavily objective based game falls short on direct pvp (both duels and team fights), which takes most of this gaming genre's fun away. If you are not a big fan of blizzard and their lore or you are not super casual, you might have hard time enjoying this game. Tbh, I can't find anything really positive and good to say about this game.

First the bad, so yeah we didn't get what were promised. Game graphics and AI were downgraded because of consoles. But I can understand consoles are biggest part of income in today's gaming industry - it's the same story with every multi-platform game. I can somewhat forgive that and not trash CDPR for that, but I can't give 10, because it wasn't perfectly cool for a game that originated on PC platform. Also movement feels slightly sluggish but believe me, this is not that bad port, if you want to call it by name. The good, so graphics are still good, maybe except flora. The performance is good, considering my PC is ~minimum requirements and I play on medium/high (with ultra textures) with stable fps(40+) in 1080p. The world is huge and offers tons, I mean TONS of activities and interesting quests. Right, even side quests have story background, are filled if choices on how you can complete them and sometimes have unexpected endings. Most characters are interesting and instantly make you like them or hate them. Dialogues and voice acting are mostly very good. I like combat as well, it requires attention of which button and when you press, and opponents often are very challenging, so every fight is very individual (especially fighting bosses). Crafting and gearing system is also cool - it really makes exploring rewarding. Alchemy is okay I guess, tho I never was big fan of alchemy in games. Only duration of some buffs could last longer, to make them more useful and using itself more rewarding. Overall, this game will bring you tens of hours of gameplay. Maybe nearly 150-200h if you will do everything what game offers. Despite downgrades and minor bugs here and there it's still a brilliant game that will keep you occupied for long. And don't listen to "zero voters" - game visually still looks okay and controls are fine (I play with mouse and keyboard without any issues). You might need to get used to some things, but believe me, it's not that bad as they say and you'll get rewarded with tens of hours of fun.

Single player campaign in most parts is very good. Characters are different and funny, dialogs good and voice acting is amazing. Game offers variety of missions and overall story writing is actually good, it's like comedy crime thing, where everything goes worse and worse, I really liked that. So yeah, SP experience is great. Now multiplayer has actually some severe issues: - a HUGE map is absolutely not utilized. Very few good missions and only 4heists (not counting 1st one which is tutorial). You end up doing few same missions and heist over and over and over - server thing is very badly designed. 50% of the time you watch loading screens and sit in mission/heist setup screen. It's not fluid at all, loading after loading after loading... - matchmaking - this game is absolutely not designed to play with people you don't know (aka randoms) it makes frustrating game even more frustrating. For example, leaving in the middle of heist, ruining mission on purpose, or playing unprepared - like going to heists at rank 5. - server stability issues - sometimes it's ok, sometimes nearly unplayable - things are teleporting, lag freezes, game hangs up in certain scenarios or ppl get disconnected. It definitely has technical issues - It's extremely repetitive because of a reason I mentioned in first point, so it get boring very quickly because of a lack of proper diversity of activities that are actually fun. Some activities are nearly useless and boring. Giving weak 8/10 just because of great SP campaign.

I spent with this game probably nearly 1000hours already and I must say it's best in genre right now. So short review: Cons: - Server-client communication is one of the worst I've seen, there is desync issue and it's the first thing you need to learn, how to play around it and minimize it. Pros: - fair f2p (only cosmetic microtransactions) - advanced mechanics with huge passive tree and skill gems with altering gems (called support gems) bring lots of builds and combinations so you always can play something new - a gameplay with learning curve, where you have to adapt to certain mobs and bosses by knowing mechanincs. Each mob has unique abilities as well as randomly added mods, so you can never be sure what you will encounter, you see mods of a mob - you need to instantly react accordingly. - end-game randomized difficulty zones (called maps with mods which increase difficulty, but also reward) - good seasons system (leagues and races) - frequent content updates (zones, events, skills, unique items) - interesting itemization, especially unique items which are very build defining in most cases. - interesting currency system (barter system) - it's currency and crafting tool at the same time - good crafting system after recent addition of forsaken masters. Overall, desync is the only real issue, but can learn how to reduce it and make less frequent and you can enjoy depth of this game

First I want to ask, do we all play the same game? I mean seriously, all those ones and zeros are absolutely ridiculous, or you people don't know what are you buying.. I spent 55hours already and I'm probably not at 50% of main story yet, which is really great so far. This game is absolutely massive, the world is huge and the things you can do in the game is mind blowing, many hours of dialogues which are cool, well written and can tell you all the lore of whole franchise, the characters are great and each one of them very individual, they react to you differently based on you choices and finally the world is so huge with plenty very interesting places to discover. On the technical side, game looks stunning, beautiful art design, good lighting, and it runs really well on my mid-range pc.(high/mid settings @1080p). Oh, forgot to mention, audio in general is also brilliant. Now the bad - well when you pick up for the first time, controls feel slightly clunky, but you can get used to it (should be patched hopefully). But I assure, it's not that bad like some say. And looting is.. well it's annoying, because character won't go to pick by himself (you have to manually move him near the loot). But these are minor issues and you can easily get used to them. Now some answers to critique on those ridiculous negative reviews: - pirates, don't be kids who didn't get their lollipop. I'm not fan of Denuvo, but doing this **** with copy/paste negative reviews, up voting those bad, down voting good is silly. Don't **** on game just because you can't play pirated version. I guess main reason of this mess going on here. - it's not continuous open world and it's a good thing. because you get bigger variety of environment and zones are large enough. - some consolish issues with controls are not that bad to drop the game. - side quests while being mostly generic are not bad. They are optional and have one purpose - to help explore the world (you don't even have to return to npc) and finally, nobody forces to do them. - game is not slow, unless you spend all your time in hinterlands. This is a tutorial zone to help new people to learn the game better and help to get used to it. You can skip all those bring x of y quests and move on to business - No, nobody forces you to listen to every single dialogue, tho I love them and find them accent of this franchise. - No it's not spiritual successor of Origins, it's not that heavily tactical game, tho if you really wish, it can be. Play on hard or nightmare and you will see you need to individually make order for each action and make reasonable decisions. And action approach is not necessarily bad if it is done right. I also hopped for tactical style like in Origins, but I'm not disappointment. This game is all about story, lore and characters, if you need tactical approach, go play Divinity Original sin. This game is definitely worth buying. Which nowadays single player game can provide 100hours of gameplay or more? It feels great, it plays great. -1 for minor issues here and there, so 9/10 is fair. And don't mind those red reviews, those are EA long term haters, pirates who hate denuvo, or typical "0 voters". If you want more honest information, go watch some YT reviews (for example Angry Joe) or any other objective reviewer from youtube community., Peace out!

This is somewhat Far Cry 3.5 and it's actually not a bad thing. The map is huge, tons of activities, the setting is nice, story is decent. Also what's important it looks pretty and runs well on my mid-range PC, so don't know what others are smoking when complaining about optimization. Absolutely no problems with the game. I'm giving only 8, because story is only decent, many story line quests are good but very disjointed from. But overall it's solid game, especially compared to other bullcrap that came out this year.

This is really solid MOBA game. In perfect scenario it is really enjoyable and fun to play, but.. - archaic client's architecture comes with new glitches and bugs with every patch - some balance changes are absolutely pointless, no identifying real core of the issue - law of jungle and bad community - and yes, flamers are not the worse part of it, at least some portion of it gets punished in some way, in worst scenario you can mute them. But there are also feeders, afkers, trolls who ruin your game experience on purpose and you can't do anything about it. You can report them but there is obviously no punishment for it, and Riot absolutely doesn't care about it. To be honest, it's one of the worst customer care in gaming history. All they focus is e-sport side of this game, and don't care about providing a friendly environment in any way in regular games. So summing up, a lot of games feels like a waste of time. If you loose because of being outplayed - it's natural, but if you loose and waste 30+minutes just because someone feeds or trolls on purpose - it's just demotivating. So in perfect scenario (no flame, no feed, no trolling) this game is 9/10, but since perfect scenarios tend to happen extremely rarely, 6/10 is max I can give, it's just more often frustrating than fun.

It's nicely polished card game and can be extremely fun due to ridiculous combo plays and godlike RNG. However there are some issues with this game: 1) Business model - it may look like a fair f2p game, but believe me, soon you will see how long it takes to get all the cards you need to play at competitive level. If you are beginner it's just p2w game. Until you learn how to play you will lack gold for arena and lack cards for ranked games. I'd rather pay set amount of money for the game and have equal conditions right from the start. It kinda works that way with recent expansion, but hey, if you are new, you still need those vanilla cards. 2) Only two game modes - arena and ranked (well there is casual normal mode but it's just regular 1vs1 with no incentive to play it). 3) Ranked system is kind off dull and too simplistic. You either get a star or loose a star - to climb or fall in ranks. What's more, there are only few decks with obviously specific legendary (or high rarity cards) that really work in higher ranks, so in the end - you face same decks over and over. So wins the one with better RNG, or one whose deck works better against opponents deck. After a while it becomes very tedious. 4) Lack of skill needed. You learn how the game works and what "abilities" cards have, you learn what cards can be played at which turn (just in case to play around) and pretty much it. Then it's all about better card draw. 5) Unbalanced cards. There are some insanely overpowered cards with insane value (absolute must have cards) and there are some ridiculous one trick pony combos. You can simply beat your opponent in 1 turn down from full HP. Overall it lacks some more depth, more strategic aspect and more game modes. Sure you can check it out for free and it's more than enough to see yourself if this game and business model suits you. But for sure, if you consider to play it at competitive level, prepare for long grind of card packs or prepare to shake you wallet.
