Star Wars is back. This is the Way. Old school stuff instead of the mumbo jumbo of the prequels.

Season 1 and Season 2 were the best things to happen to Star Wars since the original trilogy in my opinion. This is what Star Wars is all about. It wobbled a bit with Season 3. But with a feature film on the way, it can only get better. Right?

The Mandalorian is a thrilling and visually stunning series that captures the essence of Star Wars with compelling characters and engaging storytelling.

It's an ok fantasy show. The dialogues are horrible, but the action scenes are not bad visually

Although a fantastic series at first with a lot of innovation, it got lost in what and whatnot it tried to portray during the last seasons. A shame, in all honesty, because it could have been so much more.

This show started out great. And then they figured out how much money they could make pushing Grogu as the central character. They should change the name of the show to “The Baby Yoda” It’s nonsensical. We keep being told how important Grogu is and then Mando promptly keeps sticking him in dangerous situations. Which one is it? The dialogue initially was swift and succinct. But now it plays like video game dialogue. “Get this ancient water. Then you will be redeemed. Yes master. We must get on the ship and travel to mandalore to retrieve ancient water. Yes mando.” And for a show that is intentional in getting in and out quickly-40 minutes- the stories they choose to tell don’t feel like high priority ones. It started smart and then got dumbed down for casual fans who like cute plush toys.

This was my average score. First off: THERE ARE ONLY 3 SEASONS! With that out of the way. this is the only thing keeping me from hating Disney for how they have treated Star Wars. this show goes deep into a tribe that is honestly more interesting then jedi. Season 1 was amazing; Season 2 was not so great and felt like them just trying to make more money off it, but season 3... they went above and beyond to make it spectacular. (Controversy alert)

I think this series is one of the top three Star Wars releases since the original trilogy. The entire series is well thought out and scripted. It blends thrilling action with inventive sci-fi and one very cute sidekick. The showrunners treated the source material with respect, and it shows. "This is the way."

I think constant bickering is immature and childish, like artificial school yard brawl conflicts between Bo-Katan/Koska and Boba, they should be more reserved/effective/controlled like adults. Din Djarin is basically a selfish **** who's arrogant/bossy/unreasonable and Morgan Elsbeth, Cara Dune, Paz Vizsla were very stupid/annoying too, it's painful to watch. I never had the feeling that Din Djarin was in real danger except during prison break. Din Djarin announced his attack to Moff Gideon to free Grogu, this is just kindergarden **** impractical/stupid/unrealistic, but even then I expect a higher cognitive level. Migs Mayfeld wasn't supposed to be released but due to his moral aversion to operation cinder and his proven loyalty he was released, this and her sniping means Cara Dune is a traitor...

It's a very enjoyable show (or at least the first 2 seasons are). It follows a Mandalorian after he choses not to hand over a bounty to the imperials. For those who just want a show about a star wars bounty hunter doing jobs, then this is not it. But it's really good on it's own and is 100% worth watching. Plot is great, visuals are great, acting is really good and the action scenes are really well done. The only downside is that the episodes are short for a streaming service at between 25-45 minutes.

For those who watch it, it is a dish full of different adventures and memorable moments. The protagonist, even without showing his face, manages to be extremely charismatic, I loved this series.

The Mandalorian drags in places, has some pretty cheesy dialog and characters, and the music leaves a LOT to be desired, but half of the show is incredibly endearing and very much goes back to the root of what Star Wars is.

Для мене це завжди свято, коли виходить новий серіал про мій улюблений Всесвіт "Зоряних війн". Тому коли я бачу що серіал від Lucasfilm, я одразу ставлю 10/10

I have to give this show a zero to balance out these Fanboy reviews. The show has a cool premise obviously... space bounty hunter. Hard to go wrong with that honestly. However, even in the first couple episodes you can clearly see the show is woke. Here's the main reasons it's a zero.1a) Too many girl bosses. Every single female character so far is either a girl-boss or some variation of that. No female girl-boss character can be taken down by even the Mandalorian alone, he needs help to beat up a girl. All the girl bosses have this 'instagram bad-b!t' vibe, smirking and mocking all the other characters. It is clearly designed to pander to people who have low self esteem who think behaving like that in real life will earn them respect. 1b) Fighting involves testosterone, males have 15-30x more than females. It can be cool to pull this stunt for an episode once in a blue moon, but when it's done every single episode it gets patronizing fast and ruins the vibe of the show. No, I'm not excited to see a 35 year old chick with flabby arms do poorly executed ground stunts except some loser with blue or green dyed hair. We are watching the TV show for the Mandalorian guy and a space fantasy. 2) The show is just woke. The main character is basically a legend after completing a mission nobody else could complete. So he could get like any girl or man if he was gay. And we are supposed to believe he's going to be into a 42 year old single mom in poor village? Sorry, even in fiction that is hard to believe. No 30-45 year old male in his prime is going to be looking to invest his time in a girl who can at best have one more baby, with side effects most likely. Bad writing.3) EVERY male character, even the Mandalorian is stupid or impotent when in front of women. All the girls in the defending village either knew how to use guns or learned quickly. The 'pathetic' males had to be smirked at and adjusted while mocking them. Really weird woke agenda crap. And somehow in a large self sustaining village there was not one masculine man? Not even one? Really weird.4) Every evil character so far is a male. There has been one evil female and they pulled some Harley Quinn crap with her where she had to steal the entire scene every time by acting overtly 'spicy' and sexual. 5) They make the fatal mistake of throwing in characters we are 'supposed to know' without any information or rhyme or reason. They could take 2-3 minutes to do a flashback scene or a developing character scene before hand but I guess that's too much work for a generation addicted to phones. 6) Baby Yoda guy. Yeah, the baby Yoda is cute. But it feels like a crutch so far. A nice way to take up 5 minutes of each episode and distracting the audience from the fact this show has no substance. I'm almost done with season 1 and there is no character I like. There are no constant characters. It's a weird feeling. The show just feels bad when you sit down and think about it. And I'm sick of every single episode having a girl boss. Some of the episodes have had two girl bosses, the hangar repair episode where he needs to do a mission to capture another girl boss. The dude is a Mandalorian and this 59 year old peggy sue is lecturing him and whispering things in his ear and talking down to him. It's just creepy. And of course, Disney made this

Just a solid show. Camera work is great, CGI and VFX work alongside cotume design is top notch and action scenes are shot well. Din is an interesting protagonist with his creed which expands the lore of Mandalore and his relationship with Grogu. Season 3 did feel a bit all over the place and felt more like a bunch of side quests than a unifying story.

The first two seasons are acceptable, pretty good I would say. But the third season falls in a horrible way, it's stupid the third season, crap, a giant pile of **** I looked at the first 2 seasons in order for Disney to screw up again in the third one.

I'd give an 7.5 overall score for the Mandalorian. The show is good, but I find it main foundation stupid. Mando won't be able to do anything with Grogu for when he grows up. Season 1 gets a 7. Not bad. Season 2 gets a 9. Best season by far. Mando is such an epic character. Chapter 16 (Ep. 8) is just amazing. Season 3 gets a 7. It does not keep the show's pace. Chapter 20 was so intense, one of my favourites for sure. The last one was amazing too, loved the action scenes. This is the way.

Watched 2 seasons, have no desire to watch boba or season 3. Supposedly they are even worse. People are so starved for good star wars that even mediocre product like this one seems good to them after sequel trilogy and everything else disney produced. Production is high and we got cool moment at the end of second season. Other than that, mandalorian has nothing going for it.

This is the perfect example of how to start a series off really well and then just hit the self destruct button in s3! Season 3 is pure garbage has no impact on the viewer, the main character is now a demasculated shell and they think adding annoying people in cameos such as lizzo is what the fans want lol! Disney are running themselves out of business!

Season 1 was good, season 2 was good, season 3 is a dumpster fire. What awful cameos..I mean REALLY??? The writing was never very good but now it's just cringe. Disney has forever ruined SW for our family.

This show has turned to complete poopybutt when Mando appeared in "the book of Boba Fett" and took a turn to utter ridiculousness in season 3.
This show should be called "The Womandalorian" for how they treat Mando in season 3. In fact, he isn't even the main character anymore. Bo-Katarn is and she constantly cu()cks Mando out of his role. Seriously, fk her and fk this "strong female character" bull. All this woke feminist pc diversity inclusion plague can kiss my fkn behind. My advice if you really want to watch it, stop after season 2 and never watch the Boba Fett shi()tshow.
Even better advice: stop watching anything modern Disney.
Woke garbage is all they release these days. Season 1: 6/10
Season 2: 5/10 (the last episode is 9/10 tho)
Season 3: 0/10 Consequently 3/10 This was the last good Star Wars show, the only one that made Disney any profit (everything else was a well deserved colossal financial failure) and they ruined it. This is what you get for not listening to the millions of (paying) fans and instead follow the extremist woke cult that doesn't even watch your movies. Enjoy going broke Disney, you idiots.

Continuing in the not-so-recent Walt Disney custom of terrible plot points, horrible pacing, lack of suspense and, to top it all off, a narcissistic need to ram political ideologies down you and your children’s throats, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” squanders its intriguing premise and massive potential thru a complete lack of creativity, a dumbed down script, and the company’s desperation to make money at the cost of the consumer instead of presenting a proper product. Make no mistake, this Star Wars production falls very much in line with its parent company’s usual procedure: plagiarize from every genre and source of popular media available while carefully avoiding any proper homage to its sources. “The Mandalorian” borrows scenes, dialogue, characters and environments from old westerns as well as endless other sitcoms, movies, and culture references, without making a clear fact of it to the viewer. English teachers and professors across the continental United States are, doubtless, nauseated with their faces in their palms, disheartened and furious at how Jon Favreau and his host of editors could have possibly been hired to write for such a legacy intellectual property while failing to do justice to the English language the way ANY High schooler would.
The fact that much of Disney’s film and television programming is directed at children is NO excuse for pathetic dialogue and poor script writing in their more recent productions. Furthermore, children do NOT need you to dumb down the plot, and past generations of Disney story tellers knew this fact intrinsically: presenting the power of death in “Bambi” and “Up”, family in “Mary Poppins”, romance in “Pocahontas” and the need to mature in “Tarzan” and “The Lion King”. The ancient trope of the Wild West gunman that brings peace to the frontier is lost in “The Mandalorian” as our hero is quickly saddled by “Baby Yoda” and its sudden and immense popularity, which caused Lucasfilm producers and executives to scramble to make a profit at any and all costs. This neo-western suddenly became a nanny’s tale instead of the perilous frontier showdown it was intended to be. Finally, in typical “Woke” fashion, “The Mandalorian” pays little or no respect to its source, losing the gravitas thru narrative which Steven Spielberg perfected in the early “Star Wars” movies, instead choosing to meander meekly thru numerous side characters and unrelated issues. A true anthology series would have presented these stories thru different genres and tones, eventually uniting them seamlessly in an overarching chronicle. This, too, Favreau fails to achieve, as his only homage in the show is to the Jewish diaspora in the guise of the nomadic Mandalorian people, and even this he fails to clarify. Had Lucasfilm hired deserving professionals to handle the story, “The Mandalorian” could have been a fantastic achievement in streaming media. Sadly, it achieves little due to poor handling and a complete lack of creativity from its developers.

Season 3: It's not a Mandalorian series anymore, it's more like a bad cosplay convention. The first two seasons were totally amazing, but unfortunately, the third season is a complete joke. Pedro Pascal's Mandalorian has turned into a real dud, just like his character Joel in The Last of Us series. I mean, come on, Pedro, can you please play a hero that actually does something? And don't get me started on the Mandalorian's pretentious gait. It used to be so cool and mysterious, but now it looks like he's trying to strut down the catwalk. The cinematography that used to make his walk look cool now makes him look like a joke. The Mandalorian Brotherhood looked like a bunch of cosplay fans in their budget-friendly costumes. The worst part is that the show doesn't even feel like a Mandalorian series anymore. Some episodes revolve around completely different characters, and even when the Mandalorian does show up, he's not even the main focus of the story. It's like they forgot what made the show so great in the first place. I'm so disappointed that I had to change my rating from 10 stars to one star. This garbage that they call season 3 should have been a completely separate series altogether. I wish I could rate the third season specifically, but unfortunately, I can't. Overall, The Mandalorian season 3 is a huge disappointment. I had high hopes for this series, but unfortunately, it has completely missed the mark. If you're a fan of the first two seasons, you might want to skip this one.

I admit I’m not a Star Wars fan..... that being said and not knowing much outside of what a average person would know about Star Wars... I truly enjoyed the show. I’m in season 2 as I write this. You don’t have to know much ab Star Wars to enjoy this show. Think of it as a Western movie in space/ sci-fi/ action. Pedro Paschal (the mandalorian) is great and It must be so hard for a actor to hide his face. Baby Yoda seems to steal the show. All seriousness I have enjoyed it and I’m truly not a Star Wars fan. Hope this helps anyone curious!

This show is an OK watch if you like episodic adventures, especially the first season. Mediocre production, acting, and writing. The high user scores only make sense given the Star Wars theme and fan-service.

Great show, really feels like Star Wars again. Set design, costumes, and use of practical effects are all quite well done. Casting is very good, with Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, and Gina Carano standing out. The addition of Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka is a really poor choice, she has none of the personality of the character and her entire time onscreen is just grating. The removal of Carano for S3 onward is also going to hurt the show. Everyone else performs adequately or better. The plot is a generally solid episodic crisis of the week format that works through an interesting and satisfying overarching plot for the first 2 seasons. While some episodes can be a little weak, they are almost all great fun.

The Mandalorian has become of my favorite TV series. It may not have the best action or story compared to the main Star Wars movies, but the cast performs very well and the connection between Grogu and Din Djarin is fantastic.

The Mandalorian Release Date: 12 November 2019 Episodes: 16 so far Runtime Each Episode: 1 hour The Main Storyline: After the Events of Return of the Jedi and After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. Pedro Pascal Is the best to play The Mandalorian and my Favourite Character is The Mandalorian, Grogu and Galactic Empire Stormtroopers. It’s the first Spin-Off TV Show of the Star Wars Franchise It’s got Action, Adventure, Drama and Sci-Fi in it I enjoyed watching all Episodes in the Series on Disney+ but it’s really exciting. All of them are really awesome. It’s a Disney Star Wars Masterpiece I give it 10/10 Thanks for Reading
